After putting a little thought into a character for Sincerity _{just in case y'know} I had this thought of a half-honest business woman who has slowly grown into a compulsive liar because of her employers demanding her to increase sales by any means.

Only concept I currently have, and hopefully someone swoops in and just takes the Sincerity spot, but y'know. Just in case.

Does anybody else want to take Sincerity, or should I go ahead with my idea?

If anybody else feels like doubling, feel free. I don't mind taking one more under my wing, though it might slow my posts a little in the IC trying to ensure I get everything that I want covered for each of them.

I don't think you'll need three characters. Maybe let someone else take two? My main backup ideas were/are in friendship and kindness, but maybe we should check with Rai and Tenma if they want to double. That being said, I think we're aiming for 7 moreso.

A bit late to the party. But perhaps I could join, if its possible to avoid conflict. But I enjoy my digimon roleplays. Are you strictly waiting on more people to join? I notice two others in the OOC, not yet in the character tab. Are they still being waited on?

I'm just trying to see how long you anticipate the set up to be.

@SleepingSilence Those two individuals, DuskSong and Anders, have dropped out graciously. And on that note- welcome! We were actually just about to do an interest check in the General section to garner one or two more people. We'd like to start with seven or eight characters. I'd prefer seven personally, for thematic reasons, but we'll honestly take what we can get at this point, and Raddum and I have been formulating backup characters, but don't let that stand in your way.

@EnterTheHero@tobiax Alright. Thanks. I can probably write a character and post it by tonight. I'd probably take knowledge or kindness. If you have any preferences on which you would like filled. (Looks like @Raddum has their own character idea set on Sincerity.) So seems like it will work out.

I just would hate to see length kill of interest, as it often does. So if I can speed up the process, I'd be willing. Might even be able to work with multiple characters if required.

@EnterTheHero Sincerity was only in a concept stage, too, so no worries on that one. Ichi is still sitting over on Page 5 for knowledge-standby if the need arises, since he's an approved backup.

@EnterTheHero @tobiax I'm not sure how smart it was to write while drinking a lot of alcohol. But here's a work in progress. I figured the dark character wouldn't be a problem. I hope the writing will suffice. I've seen the other CS's, so I figured I'd leave it a little simple. If it requires more detailed information. Just let me know. (Along with any other questions or concerns.)

Age: 22

Appearance:
Personality: Odarius has a few screws loose. Easily standing out from the crowd. Ready to be playful and tell jokes to make a crowd laugh, or break out into breakdancing in public. At least he’s good at it. Loves listening to music, especially rap. Extroverted and sociable. However, in serious situations he’s practically fearless and perfectly capable to face his problems head on without hesitation. Having the patience of a patron saint. Along with a undying paternal instinct that will actively fight his more self-centered desires. Finding sentimental value in things like family drawings and worthless trinkets. He’s unfoolable, with impeccable detection of liars or those that have ill intentions. Takes one to know one. His wealth of knowledge both trivial and world-altering is his own personal weapon. Filled with scorn and arrogance, most of his actions are cruel and vindictive in nature. Yet is still unpredictable, occasionally acting like an angel. Despite the appearance that he speaks with devils on either shoulder. Not afraid to show his monstrous side, if someone pisses him off. Or far worse, threatening his “daughter’s” happiness...

Biography: He’s the one your school counselor assured you must have legit grievances, and doesn’t seem like such a bad guy. Which must mean he’s bullied at home or elsewhere too. Nope. But the saying, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree? That’s closer to the truth.

His teenage mother had sex one too many times but didn’t want him, because she was going to college. But had a very catholic upbringing and settled for putting him to adoption services, he never saw his real mother again. But having a darkened shade of luck, being adopted very young by a vastly wealthy businessman. A great father and a horrible man, every ounce of soul and kindness granted was for his son’s sake. Letting his workers starve without compensation, to shower him in gifts. Able to do so, from how much power and influence he accumulated in his lifetime from being manipulative. Perfectly content in making everyone’s else’s life miserable. Successfully watering the fragile seed into a blossoming toxic plant. Becoming a spitting image, spewing out flames to burn the world down. The less said about all the petty crimes and things he got away with in his youth, the better to mask his outer harmlessness.

Friends and relationships were easier to make than keep with his kind of life. Having some of the best high-school house parties around. Going to only the best schools and still usually getting kicked out of them. But the schools often got punished for it. Those that back stabbed his son, would be found missing weeks later. His son never quite crossed that line yet. Getting his own house and every else handed to him on a silver platter when he finally turned 18. But following his father’s expectations to work for a living, he didn’t follow in his father’s footsteps. Instead finding his own work connected to his interests from even a young age. He read everything; textbooks, comic, magazines, obituaries. Learning to hack from the best to steal government or others private information. Every piece of knowledge he gathered made his adrenaline pump. Using that information to manipulate and get whatever he wanted.

But very possibly leaving all that darkness behind him. Once he met his injured partner, repeating in his father’s footsteps. Finding and giving love expansive as the ocean depths. But it was never that simple. Despite getting a new life’s purpose into raising his own daughter as perfectly as possible. Struggling with the demons in one’s mind, bound to drag him under. Far from an innocent or even a morally spotless life, but one where his precious daughter can be happy...

Digimon Name: Nyx
Personality: Like a child in almost every way. A good natured-soul whose insecure about herself, and sensitive to what others think. Especially, her tamer. Seeing and acknowledging as her father figure. Rather gullible and displaying childish behavior that may come across as cute. Usually argumentative over petty things, but almost always obedient to her tamer in the end. Surprisingly clever and alert in combative and dangerous situations, allowing her to keep all her nine lives. A fun-loving girl, enjoying singing and dancing around as if no one was watching. Striving to achieve fulfillment and happiness. Having a deep desire to help others in peril and need. If one somehow meet her in a dark alley, it would likely be a pleasant and heartwarming experience. Moments that she’ll crave attention and be proud when getting appraisal. Hygienic and tidy, cleaning whenever necessary. Including thoroughly scrubbing the blood off her paws. Has been raised to have an absolutely twisted moral compass, not knowing right from wrong in anyway. Except for making those she cares for happy or not. Acting brutally when fighting, beating something until it stops moving and continuing just to finish the job. Not flinching to drop bodies of those her father deems guilty of punishment.

• Dark Puppy Howling: Completely paralyzes the opponent with a super-high pitched howl.

• Lightning Paw: Quickly punches an enemy.
• Lightning Kick: Quickly kicks an enemy.
• Cat's Eyes (Cat's Eye): Hypnotizes an enemy with its eyes.
• Cat Tail: Uses for versatile movement and grabbing potential.
• Cat Claw Fury (Neko Scratch): Uses its claws to dig through hard surfaces.

Technique-

• Darkness Wave: Releases countless creatures of darkness similar to bats which burn the opponent to cinders.
• Darkness Wave: Sprays poison smoke on the opponent, which uses Dark Energy to reverse the phase of their own powers and obliterate them from within. This technique is more complete the more powerful the opponent is.
• Black Wing: Transforms its left hand into a long sharp spike and impales the opponent.
• Slap: Hits the opponent with strong slaps while wearing a bizarre smile.
• Stun Whip: Shocks the opponent with an electric shock.

• Strike Roll: Unleashes a forward rolling slash from the Olympia, splitting the ground.
• Madness Merry-go-round: Performs a horizontal spinning slash too quick to catch with the eyes, creating a large tornado.
