Well, with that fairly feeble attempt out of the way, I can officially say that -- besides a season-ending epilogue -- my first (and only) arc is done.
Which seems as good a time as any to announce that I won't be continuing on as Captain America next season. Although I love the concept and am genuinely proud of my first few posts, I can honestly say that the rest of the arc has been a slog. Pretty much every post has been a rushed mess just to make the deadline, and even then, I wasn't nearly as productive as I hoped to be. So with that in mind, hoping that a change of scenery will do my creativity some good, I'll be picking up a new character in Season Two!

Eddie Brock is....
Eddie Brock. Regular human photographer and not at all a hero.

There was time where, having just read Marvels, I considered playing just a normal journalist in the Marvel Universe. Would've been an unmitigated disaster, I'm sure, but I did consider it.

You heard the man, folks. The Billy Batson as Captain America dream lives on!
In all seriousness, it's a shame you're dropping Cap. I really enjoyed your run, as short as it was, because I felt like you captured the tone pretty well. Every post felt like I was sitting down to watch an episode of a big budget TV show that I'd been anticipating all week. But if it was a chore for you to write, I understand why you'd want to move on.
Character You're Applying For: Venom, the symbiote, not the host.
Powers And Abilities: Venom is polymorphic, meaning he can change his shape to anything he needs in the moment. He can change host bodies, switching back and forth at will if necessary. He can climb any surface, and can make an imitation of Spider man's webbing. Venom has a slight healing factor, and has superhuman strength and speed. The symbiote also has telepathic abilities with whoever he is bonded with, and can take control if need be.
Origin And Backstory (In A Maximum Of Four Paragraphs): Venom is an alien biological entity normally referred to as a symbiote. The species itself is called the Klyntar, from a planet of the same name. Venom, a symbiote that "hitched a ride" on Spiderman during the secret wars, was considered insane by the others, who seeked to dominate rather than a mutual bond, and was due for incineration. He pretended to be Spiderman's suit and helped out. Once back on earth, Spiderman, freaked by Venom, asked Mr. Fantastic to remove him. Although successful, Venom later escaped, and although stung by the rejection, attempted to bond with Spider-man again, but failed because Spiderman used church bells to be rid of him. Venom eventually bonded with Eddie Brock. Eddie Brock blamed Spiderman for his failures in life, and Venom had a similar dislike of Spiderman. Venom, although originally happy with being bonded to Eddie, became more abusive and psychotic. This was because Eddie has an adrenal gland cancer, and the Klyntar feed off of hormones. Eddie eventually sold off Venom, and Venom went through three more hosts, one being Flash Thompson. All of these hosts made Venom a little more unstable.
What Makes This Character 'Ultimate'?: Venom can switch bodies at will, survive in harsh conditions, and help it's host preform complex maneuvers. It can bond with any organic entity, and can preform tasks when combined with other beings that were previously weaker.
Supporting Characters: His host, which at the moment is close to dying.

This is going horribly...
Venom was having a tough time. An evil person pissed him and his host off by shooting at them and taking a child hostage. They followed the man, but when the man reached his destination, a host of men in yellow suits with flamethrowers and machine guns targeted them. Venom himself was furious, and his host was fearful. As soon as the men in yellow fired, Venom and his host got to cover. Now they were stuck. We need to help the child. To hell with the humans in ridiculous clothes, we are getting in there. His host had other ideas. "No, we are going to die here, we need to leave." Venom held his host against the wall and separated his head from the host. "No, we aren't going anywhere. We are going to save that child, whether you like it or not. And you have no choice." and he recovered all of his host and took full control. He leaped out of cover and grabbed a metal panel on the way. He then charged one of the three flamers. He turned one arm into a sword and slashed at the man. He then expanded his torso at the gunmen around him, throwing them as if they weighed nothing. He blocked the shots and fire from the remaining men with his ramshackle shield. Will you trust yourself now? Or do I need to continue to show you why I'm called Venom?"
Yea....sorry I'm gonna nix this one. The fact is Spider-Man isn't even a thing, Eddie Brock as 616 knows him is *definitely never going to be a thing* in this reality, and Venom isn't close to showing up in this game, I'm gonna have to say this one isn't going to be possible.
Because she's a bad interpretation of a good character. It'd be like turning Lois Lane into Toyman and writing it with no finesse. Not that it'd be a good idea in the first place. But yeah, because it's shit.
A couple people in the superhero RP circle mentioned this game and something about it going into a season 2 soon? I wondered because I had an idea for the cosmic version of Angel, and just the DC/Marvel cosmic stuff crossing over in general. I see this is a complex universe though and some stuff can't happen. With something with this Angel fly?
