High-School Romance Simulator: Edge-dition coming soon
Man, maybe I should've used a Kaibutsu character too.
It was coincidence/lack of foresight tbh

The image header is fine, but the face claim itself is small. Maybe try to scale it up?
Planting the boy here just to see if people can see the hexcode that I've chosen to represent the "dark red" aspect. The girl will follow shortly.

Name:Gushiken RokuAge:13Gender:
April 25, 2004MaleOrientation:AsexualSocial Class:WealthyDefining Hobby:The Fine ArtsOccupation:N/APersonal Information
Physical Description:Roku is very much on the high end of "average height and weight", standing at a solid 170cm (5' 7"), and weighing in at 56kg (123lbs). His slight height advantage tends to lead people to believe that he's older than he really is. His skin is deathly pale, indicating the lack of Vitamin D in his system, but what makes him stand out is his face. Namely, his hair is longer than a boy would normally allow it to grow, and he regularly uses mascara to extend his eyelashes. Not to mention the lipstick. Roku's school uniform is typically loaded with as many black accents as he can get away with, since apparently he doesn't seem to think that one can have enough. His hair is also dyed black, but there are the occasional highlights of its original color in red, most notably at the roots. Finally, Roku has more than a few piercings; one in each ear for studded earrings, which were completely acceptable, and also a tongue piercing around the center of his tongue and a navel piercing near his belly button, neither of which have been picked up on.Personality:Unsurprisingly, Roku fits squarely into the goth stereotype. He doesn't speak a hell of a lot, but every time he does, the mood around him has an occasional tendency to dampen just a little bit more. Roku typically spends most of his time at school away from the other students, silently brooding away to himself while everyone else goes about their sorry excuses for lives. While he doesn't seem to mind interacting with whomever would go out of their way to speak to him, he refuses to involve himself in other people's messes. Worrying about his own future is stressful enough on him as it is, without all that extra bullshit that may or may not go on around his vicinity.Home Life:
While his emotions maybe hard to read on the surface, deep down Roku is internally depressed, constantly wallowing in his own despair. He's a self-loathing cynic with a negative outlook on life as a whole, and his pessimism knows no bounds. As far as he's concerned, all of his classmates are little more than parasites that continue to eat away at his time and his life. Thankfully, Roku doesn't have such a deranged mentality that he'd fantasize about murdering everyone, and in practice, he's actually quite hard to provoke. Due to his cynical nature, however, he can hold a grudge on someone for even the smallest of things, and he'll almost never let it go.Roku lives with 19-year-old brother, Gushiken Yutaka, who has been his legal guardian ever since their parent's deaths. Their mother was murdered by a jealous ex-lover of their father's, and their father was killed in a riot that he was trying to help qualm. Yutaka is one of only a few precious people that Roku isn't a complete asshole towards. Even then, however, there's an evident love/hate relationship that Roku has with Yukata. Roku gets by thanks entirely to the inheritance that Mrs. Gushiken had left him and Yukata in her will which, even when split between the two of them, is more than enough to support his wants and needs.Motivation:All Roku really wants in life is to get through the days without any hassle. Of course, with high school being the most dramatic stage of one's life in Japan, and with Roku only just starting it, chances are that he may undergo a lot of stress. However, his talents with the paintbrush are likely to get him far, and that may be his ticket into procuring a decent career for himself.Likes:Dislikes:

Miscellaneous Information
Main Theme Song:Encounter Theme Song:Ideal Voice Actresses:Colleen Clinkenbeard (En)/Fumiko Orikasa (Jp)Tidbits of Trivia:
- Roku is prone to suffering from epileptic seizures whenever multiple flashes of light occur in front of his eyes. The main reason why he despises bright colors in general is because from his experience, the lights that flash in all these different bright colors are much more likely to trigger these seizures than just the white lights alone.
- While he does like to watch horror movies, his ability to immerse himself into their stories is more often than not ruined by the squirming of whoever else maybe watching one alongside him. Hence why he typically watches them alone... or at least with people he knows can actually stomach them. The way that Roku smirks whenever a certain character meets their demise is uncanny, and perhaps a little cruel.
- Due to his heliophobia, Roku will typically stay indoors on a sunny day, and as far away from the windows as he possibly can so that the sun doesn't shine directly on him. When he has to go outside, he'll put up a black parasol that he always carries around with him. Funnily enough, said parasol has a pointy metal bit at the end, which he can use to fend off bullies.
"There's two types of 'fat girl'; the type of 'fat girl' that stays ugly no matter what, and the type of 'fat girl' that can still be sexy if she works her tits off at it without trying to change who she is. I like to say that I'm the latter."
