I'll keep smiling on the surface...
ɪ ɴ-ᴅ ᴇ ᴘ ᴛ ʜ ᴀ ᴘ ᴘ ᴇ ᴀ ʀ ᴀ ɴ ᴄ ᴇ Finn is not exactly tall, only standing at about 5’7”, and that combined with his only 110 pound weight, makes him quite an un-intimidating figure. His thin, undefined frame is often kept hidden by baggy hoodies and jeans, to try to hide how skinny he is. His long, dark brown hair falls down to his shoulders, and is often messy and untamed, and when he does bother styling it, he has a fringe swept over his right eye. His eyes, when seen, are a bright, light blue.
If he is ever seen without a shirt on, which has never happened before, one of his biggest secrets would be shown. Theft side of his torso is covered in scars, ranging from small and thin to long and thick, from his hip up to his shoulder.
Hiding my nerves behind the curtains...
ʜ ᴀ ʙ ɪ ᴛ s • He has mild trichotillomania, which is the recurring urge to pull out one’s own hair. He has it mostly managed, although it surfaces whenever he gets stressed or bored.
• If he’s not pulling at his hair, he’s fiddling with something in his hands, tapping on something, or bouncing his leg rapidly. He seems unable to stay still.
• He always has to have music playing, or his anxiety and nervous tics get worse. Because of this, he always carries a pair of headphones or earbuds with him.
ʜ ᴏ ʙ ʙ ɪ ᴇ s • Finn loves music of many different styles, and plays and writes his own stuff as well. He plays guitar, keyboard, and sings, and is quite talented, despite not believing it.
• If he’s not playing music, he’s probably playing games of some sort, be it video games or tabletop games. He loves RPGs, Platformers, and TCG’s, and has been playing World of Warcraft since Vanilla, starting by sitting on his dad’s lap while he played.
• He loves comic books, manga and all media related to them, and has quite the collection. Unlike most people who choose a side, Marvel or DC, Finn adores both, as well as many of the other smaller comic book companies.

s ᴇ ᴄ ʀ ᴇ ᴛ s • Finn had to be hospitalised and take several months off school in 11th Grade from a nervous breakdown, which caused him to run out onto the road into the path of a car. He is very lucky to be alive. Not even his closest friends know that, they think he just went on holiday with his family.

Who I am and who I was...
ᴘ ᴇ ʀ s ᴏ ɴ ᴀ ʟ ɪ ᴛ ʏ Finn is a quiet kid. Always has been. He’s always been the kind to keep his head down and keep to himself, rathering to be immersed in games, books or music, than small talk with acquaintances. The people who have bothered to get to know him though, know the real Finn. The talkative, passionate, emotional side of him only a few people have ever seen. When Finn is comfortable with someone, he can talk for hours on the same topic, specifically music or video games.
Finn was diagnosed with ADHD and Anxiety Disorder during middle school, and has all the typical symptoms of both disorders. Short attention span, trouble focussing, hyper-activity, frequent panic attacks, and several nervous tics that get worse when he is stressed. He has learnt to keep a lot of his symptoms under control himself, using mindfulness techniques, but when things get too much for him, he has trouble keeping them in check. When Finn gets upset, his nervous habits get ten times more prevalent, he starts mumbling himself, and often ends up in tears, or screaming at whatever it is that is stressing him
ʜ ᴏ ᴍ ᴇ ᴛ ᴏ ᴡ ɴ Brooklyn
ʙ ᴀ ᴄ ᴋ ɢ ʀ ᴏ ᴜ ɴ ᴅ Finn had a fairly normal, uninteresting childhood. He grew up with his parents and two older sisters in Brooklyn, not wealthy, but not struggling too bad either. He wasn’t an easy child to raise. He was fussy and neurotic from the very starts, refusing to eat or sleep unless things were a very specific way. This often put him on edge with his older sisters, who only saw the special treatment that he received as their parents showing favouritism, so they lashed out and tormented him quite a bit through his childhood.
It took until middle-school for his ADHD and Anxiety to be diagnosed and treated, which is when things started to get easier for him. He started seeing a counselor, which was the best thing for him, learning skills to manage his struggles. His sisters started to back off, and he kept mostly to himself at school, keeping his head down to avoid as much trouble as he could.
It was 11th grade where things took a turn for the worse. High school is when people started to notice the quiet kid, and start to torment him, worse than his sisters ever did. And that, added on to the load of school work that his classes piled onto him, eventually culminated into a nervous breakdown. He threw lamps, smashed his computer and the family TV and ran out onto the street into the path of an oncoming car. Most of his left sized was crushed. He was lucky to survive, and surgery saved the left side of his body, though it is severely scarred.
Since then, he was put on medication for his anxiety as well as ADHD, and although he doesn’t like taking them, they helped level him out. He got a job to help pay off the medical bills his accident caused, and learnt how to ignore the teasing and ridicule from his classmates. He didn’t want anyone to know about his breakdown, so he made his family and teachers promise to keep it hidden.
Now that he is graduating, his father decided that it would be a perfect opportunity to let loose and try to mingle for the first and last time with a lot of these kids. He booked a hotel in Miami for himself to stay in, while Finn went off to the beach house. He didn’t want to, at all, but he didn’t want to disappoint his father either, so he went along with it, with the stipulation that he’d get his own room. How bad could it be, really?
M I S C • Still a virgin
• Has never drank or done drugs, and the only partying he’s done is in World of Warcraft.
• Was forced to go on the trip to Miami by his dad, who is currently staying at a hotel not far from the Beach House.
•His nickname comes from a phase he went through in middle school where he would wear Goggles to school everyday, inspired by Tai from Digimon. Originally a hated nickname used to ridicule him, he adopted as his gamertag, turning a negative into a positive.
