As he listened to the man before him, Sveiand took the scroll tentatively – Knowledge was a fickle thing. He skimmed through the scrawled message, skipping the inane chatter that Iva knew he found droll. Yet the main content of the note was intriguing. A divine assembly was sure to be interesting, if not a complete disaster. He tried to envisage the multitude of powerful being gathered in one place, each with contrasting domains, raw primal power and conflicting personalities. There were those in open antagonism, some with unbridled powers and, it was rumoured, new gods of the civilising world that may show their faces. He did not want to be part of the petty squabbles but worried by recent events, he did not want to fade into history either. Even if he stood in a chilled corner of the library and watched it would still be more interesting than his past few decades of existence. And anyway, recent events needed to be discussed.

The embodiment of winter turned to the figure shivering before him, lips pursing slightly as he thought about how best to reply. The man was cold and fearful of the beast that Svei had just guardedly received. Yet… there was something about him. Those golden eyes. The lack of tribal markings to identify himself as one of the North. His bizarre story. No human of the Northern Crown would come hunting this far north, nothing lived here. Nor would they think that they could regain their bearings after wandering too far into the blizzard of Niflheim but prey to the only resident for sanctuary.

Sveiand’s guard rose at the uncertainty of the identity of the man before him. But his curiosity was peaked. His mind flashed back to the mortals he had left sleeping in his palace, and could not stop the thought that this unusual figure would give him a better companionship that he had found in his long life thus far. The decision crystallised in his mind.

“You do not need to ask Azhriel for mercy,” he smiled with benevolence, lifting the man’s head up by a chilling touch to his chin. “I will grant you both safe passage.” The cold immediately lessened around the man? Mortal? Demigod? Construct? And at a glance, the bat-like messenger shivered. A thick pale pelt erupted from its crown, cascading down its body. That would make it more comfortable, and remind his sibling of his power. The blizzard parted in a clear corridor toward the shoreline in the near distance, yet continued to howl in tumult on all other sides. If the man did not know before that he was a god, it was obvious now. He turned to both figures “Come, lest you lose your way again.” As Sveiand strode quickly away across the ice, the blizzard started to close in again behind him. Both Iva’s messenger and the curious stranger would need to stay close to avoid being swallowed by his meteorological defences again.

He thought he sense a turbulent surge in power from the direction of the stranger as he started the journey but put it down to the portal of Naswaru he sensed opening with his first creation for Niflheim. He couldn’t wait for this gathering to end and him be able to meet his first pet! When they reached the shoreline, he would give the traveller a choice. He smiled at the crisp snow crunching beneath his boots. This was going to be an interesting journey especially if he offered an alternative way of travelling…

Quill acted as though he thought a mortal should, though doing so saddened him a bit. There was a lingering thought that he had was imitating those mortal who learned about his divine nature and never quite treated him the same after. However he had no time for meddlesome thoughts, and merely pushed them away into some deep corner of his mind. He was mostly silent, except to quietly thank him for the safe passage. He tried to avoid eye-contact, except whenever the other man engaged it.

Whenever the entity showed how strong it was, that it was either a god or an avatar of one, another nagging doubt entered Quill's mind. There was warning bells in his mind telling him that could go terribly wrong, however there was also a deep curiosity about where this was leading. And so he followed the god or godling.

Travelling should have made him at ease, however he felt something that he had never felt before while on a simple walk, anxiety. The blizzard was of little concern to him, however as they traveled his doubt and curiosity mingled together to create this most awful of feelings, and while normally he could go on walks for decades without issue, he simply wanted this journey to be over-quickly. However he could not use his divine power, not overtly.

He begin to think of a solution to this problem, and he remember how the god keep looking at his eyes for some reason. And then he remembered that golden eyes were not a natural occurrence. At first this caused him to internal panic for a second, but then he realized that this work to his advantage. While the god was preoccupied, he had quickly and stealthily created a bag attached to a belt hidden under his heavy furs.

He meekly called out to the authoritative stranger, "I see that you are curious about my oddly colored eyes. I was suppose to keep this a secret." he said, before creating an exaggerated paused, "You seem trustworthy. I have had an encounter with a god in which they deemed it appropriate to reward me with these gold eyes, however they also granted me another gift." he said.

He slowly and carefully pulled out the bag that he had just created, and pulled a tiny figure out before going to handing it to the stranger. "It is a divine artifact, you throw it on the ground and it creates a strange creature called a horse, that adapts to where ever you are. I was too scared to try this before, but the god said that riding on the horse was much faster than walking."

He then quickly looked away, as he was trying to desperately create a story should the stranger inquire further, perhaps he should have done that before he had handed him to the figurine, but he would have to make due.

Elaria watched the human with disgust as it spoke to her of waiting but a moment. She would have responded, but before she could the human turned around to ignore her. In that moment, she would have killed him, for her anger was boiling. To be disrespected by a creature so low, was highly insulting, and to make matters worse, the human had called her a demon again. Lightning flashed, and Elaria decided that this human did not deserve death, but he would, in time.

She quickly began whispering a spell in a language recently acquired. She upheld her arms to the sky, then turned her head up and shut her eyes, as the whispering became louder and louder. At the epitome of the whispers, Elaria clapped her hands together in a great shock wave. Her spell... No, her curse was complete.

However, before she could see it take effect, she was halted by something truly special. A portal, not unlike her own, opened up to reveal two massive crystalline creatures, and even more intriguing, a new human. Yet in the brief moment that he was there, and insulted her, Elaria could sense that he was something more. What that was, she did not know, but what she did know is that he carried the mark of Dirka. She stared at them with malice as they entered the portal, leaving her alone in silence.

She smiled though, for the curse would start soon. The man who had insulted her so greatly, would be subjected to a blood curse. Courtesy of Dirka herself, for it was Anu who had been given such a power to work with, and she passed down to Elaria. This curse would work slowly, giving him a craving to consume blood. Eventually, he would succumb to the curse, or embrace it, for Anu was a benevolent Goddess, and she hated to kill what could be useful.

Elaria then ripped a portal open in front of her, it was time to tell Anu what occurred her. The moment she stepped in the portal dissipated, letting back in the rainstorm. Dark days were ahead.

The fight was turning out dire for both sides. On the ground, fighting against fell winds both the ice and fire dragons perished amid hail and cinder. The flames were fed and smothered again and again. Smoke drifted up into the maelstrom. Turning it thick and even darker than the storm had made it. Thesan couldn’t see his own sister anymore. He only saw her unique breath ripping through the enemy. Joined with flashes of red and frozen blue. If he had time, he would’ve worried. But he couldn’t, for a very angry god was catching up with him.

Lira, below, was dispatching her foes one by one. Her beam ripped through scales and flesh. Another ice dragon fell before her. With pride, she stood on its skull. Cracking beneath her weight. The Verzakian dragons she just saved made a bow worthy of a queen and proceeded to help their own kin. Lira couldn’t see it but the fighting on the ground was being won and even though she couldn’t see it, she did know it. It was getting harder and harder to find more ice dragons to kill. High above her, she saw the flashes that could’ve only come from the false god and her own brother doing battle. She did have the time to worry.

Thesan could only trust that his sister would do what she must. He knew he would. The hydra god was getting too close. It would catch him sooner rather than later. If it had to happen, then he preferred it to be on his own terms. So when Drakairos reached out for his wing, Thesan rolled over and let the claws dig into his chest. His scales, the strongest dragon scales in existence, shattered instantly. Letting the god’s claws dig in deep into him. Blood immediately poured out of the wound and caught fire as it touched the air. Thesan’s body reacted to the pain and hurt. He coughed up blood and spat it towards Drakairos’ frozen head. Still, for a dragon in the literal clutches of a god he looked rather happy to be there. “I got you now.” He said with a sly grin before let out a deafening roar that echoed off the pass’ mountainous walls.

Dragons from the ground folded open their wings and were quickly dragged into the storm. Those in the air began to breathe their flames in random directions. Soon the whole storm turned into a tempest of fire. The clouds were glowing orange and a fierce fire tornado raged down upon the ground. The fire was so all-consuming you could hear the air being sucked in as the oxygen was consumed by the flame. From below even Lira joined her flame with it. In the middle of the firestorm was Drakairos clutching a bleeding, broken but satisfied Thesan. He looked enamored at the creation of his kin raging all around him now. A hundred flames joined together. Shame he couldn’t join but a sacrifice was needed to keep the Hydra God distracted.

@Legion02 - Arch-Dragons - Thesan & Lira - & Friends | @jetipster - Sveiand (In Passing) | @ReusableSword Naswaru (In Passing)
Battle Conclusion

The mighty three-headed god plunged his talons straight into Thesan's chest, causing blood to splurt from the wounds. This was a major blow towards the arch-dragon, one that many would think allows Drakairós to gain the upper hand. They surely got him now. However, they soon realized that the boiling blood began to combust as soon as it mixed with the air above. Just before Rós could attempt to fire his ice breath however, the arch-dragon cheekily spat this blood at his' face, blinding him temporarily.

"GAGH!" the head crackled angrily while wiggling wildly in pain.

The other two heads looked down at the falling fire dragon ominously as they prepared to annihilate him on the spot. Their mouths were already charging up with electrical and fiery energies respectively. Yet with a sly grin, the fire dragon issued a deafening roar, causing the three heads to flail chaotically, as they can feel the storm beginning to grow hotter and hotter. The extensive blood-loss must've mixed with the chaotic storm, unleashing the fiery payload as the fires began to issue a maelstrom of swirling, blazing hellfire. The ice dragons still battling the other arch-dragon and their forces began to suffer at the hands of this intense heat, with some already beginning to melt and faint from intense heatstroke.

Dra knew exactly what his opponent was trying to do. In a fit of internal rage, the weather god issued their own ear-splitting shriek as they unleashed their beams into the arch-dragon's left wing before pushing it violently to the ground. With their opponent's ability to fly compromised, Drakairós jettisoned into the storm to assess the dooming situation they're in.

"It's no use..." Dra announced somberly, "We must retreat."

Kai however, engulfed in his blazing element, didn't agree with this statement.

"WHAT?!" he boomed defyingly, "WHY?! WHY MUST YOU LET THESE MORTAL LOT OVERPOWER US!"

"It's about preserving our own forces you imbecile!" Rós replied, "We don't have another few minutes to cool the air around us, unless we want all of our ice dragons to melt away. One does not simply face the fire god alone, god or mortal alike! If we leave now, we can save at least a handful of our forces."

"Indeed." the middle head affirmed sternly, "We must regroup for their sake. Ragnagedon may have won this battle, but certainly hasn't won the war. We will be back with a far greater force."

With that, the weather god called to his surviving ice dragons as the winds began to shift against the fire beasts in a cold front. As they struggled against the powerful winds, it allowed Drakairós and his forces to ride with the swirling wind upwards into the eye of the storm. As soon as everyone made it up into the troposphere, the winds would last long enough to assure they won't be followed, and soon they began to die down and reveal the carnage left behind.

The hydra was able to convert 30% of Ragnagedon's fire dragons. While their numbers had grown significantly, they still suffered heavy casualties on their side. They would continue to fly back to their Palace of Zepharios, providing a hidden sanctuary for their dragons to take residence in. It's time that they continue to speak with Sveiand and Naswaru to strengthen their forces against this rising threat.

@Archangel89 - Apollos & Iarus (In Passing) | @Rune_Alchemist - Messenger
Conclusion Of Spire Event

As the angels began to initiate their evacuation protocols, Hyperion would continue looking upon the ominous fear spire with utter abhorrence. While it was continuing to recede back in on itself, the structure itself already beginning to crumble in on itself, there was simply nothing for him to find or see here. The sheer fact that it wasn't affected by the light and how it attracted Iarus to turn into the God of Fear was mortifyingly concerning to the realm's future. He already has many questions coursing through his mind.

Where did this spire come from? Who made it? Are there more of them just waiting to pop up?

These are just some of what he's trying to wonder, but as of now they remain unanswered. Once the portal opened, Hyperion and his forces marched straight in nearly without a second thought back to Terratora, with only vengeance in mind. If only he had stayed a little longer, would he have finally seen a flicker of light within the darkness... only for it to be swallowed up by darkness herself.

|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Once Hyperion and his forces set foot back in their home island, the God of Light dismissed his troops as he heads back to plop on his radiant throne. But before he could have a chance, one of his advisors quickly approached him.

"My lord," he said calmly, "We have a visitor from the Library just beyond our sacred walls on the west side. Apollos is dealing with him as we speak. It appeared to have given us an invitation of some sort."

Hyperion would slowly stand up, towering over his advisor, as he walks down to the palace stairs.

"I shall see this myself." he booms as he creates another portal to close the gap between him and his fellow god.

When he emerged, he sees the Sun God indeed reading a message that the black, heretical-looking, creature brought to him to read. Hyperion made no attempts to shoo the creature off, although his presence may have definitely caused to it become nervous perhaps.

"Greetings Apollos." he calls out gregariously towards his fellow friend, "How goes thee? I've been told that this creature brought us a letter. What does it read?"

@Rune_Alchemist - Messenger | @Stern Algorithm - Gammaton (In Passing via Letter)

A loud screech would halt Nerplaguis' advance towards the portal, as it turned his head towards the source of the noise. Looking up, he can see a black faceless creature fly down towards him like a stalking vulture. Although it was not here to eat the god's sickly infected flesh, rather it would be to give him a letter.

"Well! What have we here?" the plague god cooed curiously as he took the letter with his gloved hand.

He began to read the message carefully. Why it was from his librarian pal Iva! It's been a hot minute since he stopped by his place. He tells him of the insect God of Order, Gammaton, wanting to make an assembly of the gods. Interesting! However Iva didn't seem to very much like it, although he still wondered if he, amongst the rest of the other gods, will join this little convention. Nerplaguis gave a few hard seconds to consider it, before nodding in agreement underneath some quiet snickering.

"Ooooh, hoo, hoo!" he chuckles, "This could certainly be interesting, if not entertaining! I wonder how all the others have been."

With that, he quickly pulls out a feathered pen and signs his initials on the letter along with a checkmark.

"Please tell brother Iva that I shall be attending this little assembly." he replies as he gives back the letter to the faceless messenger, "As well as a few experiments I may have him help me with."

With that, he waves it good-bye and retreats into the portal with his plague sentinel. It was time to make his next experiment come to life!

Dirka looked at Hayim and rolled her eyes. she gently grabbed him and smiled. "Let's just go. Come on pretty bloom, we're going to play with brother Iva." She looked at the messenger and felt pity. It had to fly the whole way back. She sighed then held out her other arm for it. "Come on, faceless one. I'll give you a ride." The bird like creature seemed thrilled. It flew onto her arm and perched there. She then continued to the portal, where it closed behind her.

They appeared in the library's main tower. Dirka set Hayim down on a table and the she looked at the messenger. "Go, fetch your master. It's playtime!"

When Rescoreje exited the garden to check on his- no no thoughts like that- on Deruga, he was surprised by a Deruga on the floor coughing up blood, and another ascended mage tending to him. He rushed over and bent down. "What happened? What even is happening?" The mage looked at him with a grave look. "The same curse as before, my young lord. He started coughing, and I examined him, and it is as it seems. He is once again infected with the Rorshy blood curse. But at least we have the dispel this time, but only you, the mistress, and he could do it without ritual." Rescoreje smacked his face in annoyance. "By mother's eye...okay, do you know the words?" The mage nodded. "Then start speaking them so I can learn them on the go. Hopefully this works." The mage started reciting, and Rescoreje repeated while performing the necessary movements. They had to work fast if they wanted Deruga to live as he is, and not go through the true curse on Deruga's soul.

Terzotz was playing a game with some other of Dirka's minions. It was called knuckle boned, using the bones of some large beast. He was having issues in the beginning, not have small dexterous hands, but he learned to use his dry barbed tongue instead. He was't loosing, but he wasn't winning either. He tossed the bones again. When they landed the current winner sighed in relief. But the dragon went into a rage. "By the lady's left breast, damn you, Spectajok! I swear, you've tampered with these, you daft weasel!" He yelled at the golem. The skinny, lanky construct made an electrical noise that was laughter for him. "At least you ain't the fairy over there." The Nixie seemed to produce steam from that remark. "Fey, not fairy. They are liars who work for Iarus, and not true fey." A mage started laughing then whispered into Terzotz's ear. "But at least they don't turn ya' down on the harvest festival." Terzotz doubled over laughing.

Svieand smiled as he actually found himself contented for the first time in recent memory. He was heading to the library with a purpose and meaning. He had worked well with Drakairos to quench some of the flame. He was still master of his domain. Now he was on a journey with an unusual mortal – the closest to ‘adventure’ he supposed he’d ever gotten. And even when he returned home, he’d have his promised new pet waiting for him. How exciting it all was. The gleaming snow seemed to glisten and shine brighter in response.

Svieand was once again considering transport… Was it possible for him to successfully transform another into his aurora and back again? Or could he summon his nearest ice dragon offspring for assistance? If only he was the God of Travel – he’d know these things!

It was then that his travel companion spoke up with an explanation about his exotic coloured eyes. So he was touched by the divine. The god of winter felt vindicated of any guilt from his previous suspicions. Yet instead of relief at being correct he was instantly put on edge. Who could have sent this being? What was his true purpose out here in the far, far north if not to involve him?

Yes he appeared normal but there was something about this man’s actions, the avoidance of eye contact, the exaggerated speech pattern, that was disjointed, a replica of a man. What this one of Anu’s devils or demons, Dirka’s meddlesome mages or even Iarus’ tricksters? He threw out his senses to try and detect another god laughing at his foolishness, hidden by the snow. But the only unnatural indicators being from his two companions – the unknown man and a white-furred gargoyle.

Sveiand’s mind turned once more toward travel, now removing his ethereal transformation from the table, when the stranger handed him a detailed carving of a creature he had seen running wild on the plains of the south. So that’s what it was called, a horse. He turned the exquisite craftsmanship over in his hands cautious of this being a trick or trap, especially given the man’s furtive nature. Svieand smiled to himself with a shrug. Nothing could harm him that badly, this close to his realm surely…? What had he got to lose?!

He tossed the statuette forward onto the ice in a large arc. But by the time it reached the frozen surface it was no longer a trinket but an enlarged horse of magnificent statue. It’s pure white coat was thick and warm reaching down over the hooves, the mane and tail glittering with strands of grey, blonde and blue. The piercing blue eyes of the enormous steed appraised the god as the mount bowed its head, pawing at the ice with oversized hooves on which there were spiked edges for extra grip. Without a moment’s thought and with nearly unbridled, childish joy, the normally reserved and stoic God of Ice, leapt forward onto the back of the magnificent shire (magically assisted for grace of course), his thighs sinking into the plush down of the blanket on the mount’s back, and leaning forward to stroke the beast’s neck.

He turned to the stranger with a hand to help him mount. “What an excellent gift,” he mused. “Who gave you such an item?” He must find out more before they arrived at the library. He did not want to leave any unknowns as a guest in those halls of knowledge. He had seen first-hand the lengths and ‘operation’ that Iva would go to, to obtain a creature’s truth. And the golden eyes and face he currently looked into was too handsome for such a fate. “And I do believe I didn’t catch your name…”

Quill was smiling as the trinket was thrown into the air. He often enjoyed his own creations. However, he was internally screaming. Perhaps this was the time to tell the truth, however he already gotten this far. In addition, this was no time for hesitation, he would need to move forward and worry about the pesky consequences later.

He needed a god who would foolishly give gifts to mortals, and then possibly forget about that mortal. Which sounded like something that he might have done, but he couldn't use his own divine name. By time the horse had fully formed, he had constructed his story. He was pleased that stranger focused on the gift and the god, and then he was asked what his name was. In his haste, he forgotten about a human name.

He reached for the other man's hand to help him on the mount. He could easily mount a horse. He could also fly if he had wanted, but that seemed inappropriate at the moment. He used this brief time to think back to his former travel companions. Most of their names were a blur, but one stood out and he surely would not mind him borrowing his name, "My name is Gerald."

He then remembered that while he taken that name from a human, that human originated in a different place than here. Location was sometime a difficult concept for Quill to grasp, however he could work it into his story, "I am sorry for my deceptions, but I hope you see they were necessary. The truth is that I am rather far from home. The gifts bestowed upon come from the most generous god, Ral. My worship is the reason that I have ventured so far north. I had heard rumor that one of his most divine relics was hidden within the frozen landscape. As a loyal follower, it is my duty to ensure that such a powerful relic is not abused. I did not know if you were in possession of the artifact, and that I still don't know. However, if you do have it in your possession, it must be in good hands."

~~The Illuminator~~

Location:
Cy'Lathak

@Dealdric@Duoya

The human sized creature, incapable of emotion as it was as Iva had removed such things might have seemed grateful, but in reality it was simply a facade. A fake. A sham to seem as such to complete its task faster. As such any emotional response seen by Dirka was nothing more than manipulation. Perching on her shoulder however, was difficult. It was the size of a human, after all - but perhaps Dirka wasn't human sized in this case? Either way, they all ended up back in Iva's library in a swift manner.

Right in front of a very surprised Lahzria.

"...ah?" The human had seemed to have found its way to the main chamber, where Iva's throne was. She stared at Drika and Hayim for a few seconds before grinning excitedly. "Dirka, right! And Hayim! I recognize you from the books!" Several scrolls and books were splayed out on the table, open on various different topics starting with the other gods and Iva's current knowledge on them. "Oh wow, I didn't think I'd meet both of you today either!" She giggled, still wearing her bloodied furs, obviously not having bothered to clean up. Before Hayim could reply however, the black winged creature picked Hayim up in its claws, and headed for the exit, leading the plant god up the stairs and towards the top floor where Iva was. If Dirka tried to follow, she'd find the wall above the doorway slamming shut, preventing her from following directly.

It seemed like the Library didn't want her to follow, and it'd probably disallow her free access and teleportation within if she tried meaning she'd need far more energy than normally to do so, if she was capable of doing it at all.

"Hey hey, Lady Dirka!" Lahzria energetically walked over to the goddess. A few books had decided that since they were done with, to flutter off and find their proper resting places within the library. "You can teach me magic right?" She didn't bother explaining who she was, why she was here, or anything else. "Or something. Lord Iva probably wouldn't mind."

Meanwhile the Aho'Nohg carried Hayim all the way up to the top of the tower, where the balcony and the field of small grass was situated. The view was likely considered breathtaking by most, but for Iva it seemed nothing more than an average occurrence. Hayim would find the Illuminator shooing away another messenger, just having delivered Nerplagius' response.

"Ah! Brother Hayim!" The black skinned creature let Hayim down, placing him upon the edge of the coarse, tough grass before flying off. "Such a pleasure to see you! If you couldn't tell from my message my heart, it aches!" With a dramatic flourish, placing the back of his hand upon his head he twirled in a mildly comical manner. "My soul it cries! My body shrieks with sadness! Such a tiring, bland realm this is! Oh every day all I see is nothing but endless cold and empty minds." Twirling back over to Hayim, Iva held out a hand, the white flower Drika gifted him earlier held out in his hand.

"Hayim, you are the only one who can cure the sadness. Make me a wonderful forest here. A place where I can frolic through fields of these flowers, admire nature in all of its beauty!"

@jetipster
The messenger showed no response to Svieands mutterings or words, merely moving mechanically along. It seemed unfazed by the coat, though it realized like this it could complete its task without freezing. It had delivered the letter, now it just needed a response. It merely traveled silently, watching the events happening with impatience. It needed a reply and it needed to return swiftly to inform his lord. It flew silently along, above them, occasionally letting out a low shriek but for the most part watching and waiting.

Dirka watched the creature take Hayim, and while she was hesitant to let it, she did none the less. Finally, Dirka noticed the human girl, used a small spell to quickly figure out all she said and grabbed something from a pouch she had. She smiled down at the girl while drinking from a gourd. She put the cap back, placed the gourd back in the pouch, and cleared her throat. She then picked the girl up in a hug and squealed. "You're so adorable! Your Iva's little prophet! The one to bring knowledge and his madness to the mortals! Tweska Shoven! Imirtolcax dergall! Iva asked me earliar this month to teach you, so that's what I'll do!" She dropped the girl then went into a questioning and thoughtful stance. "Oh, but so little time, so much you must know in order to go! The Kesal spell of learning? No, to deadly. The spell I've yet to nam-OH HELL NO! No, no, no, no...but wait, there is one way. Hold still, or sway, either way." She jabbed her finger at Lahzia's forehead, and light appeared. Lazhia would see black, but she would simply be transferring into the astral realm. Dirka was there already preparing an arena. She now mental imagined a throne carried by four strong tall men. She sat in that very throne in the astral realm and awaited Lahzia to finish her mental transfer. She thought up a drink, and a stone cup ornately decorated was filled with a green drink.
"Let your lessons begin!"

In the real world they looked ridiculous however. Dirka was still poking Lahzia's forehead physically, but no one was home.

@Lmpkio

Terzotz was angry. This little rodent stole his gem. He found it, not it! The mortals say sharing is caring, but he was a dragon, he didn't give two wisps about sharing. And a Magic black dragon no less! It scurried here and there in the mortal world, and boy was it fast. But Terzotz was two miles away from burning down this whole forest with Veil Fire and acid, but then the rodent went into a portal and disappeared. "NOOOOOO! LADY DAMN YOU!" and he continued to curse and spit, and most of said curses were not available, due to how vulgar and lewd they were. He eventually stopped and caught the sent of the rodent. He flew over to a mountain peak, cautiously for he was far past the Teeth of madness, away from safety. He sniffed around and smelled death now. He knew where he was. Nerphagius' realm on earth. Well, he wasn't found of sickness, but it did help him catch meals since only the hardiest of illnesses could harm a being of magic, and he had become fully in tuned with the element, no longer just a vessel with his ladies domain inside. "Oh, God of Disease, I mean not to intrude, but I search for a rodent that stole from me. May I ask, is he one of yours? For if he is, he has my gem. And Terzotz, Black Dragon of Magic, does not like being stole from. PLease?" He wasn't sure if Dirka was on good terms with the doctor, but she spoke good of him. Maybe flatter would work?

...probably not...

As Dirka picked Hayim up, and allowed the large creature to sit onto her shoulder, before walking through the portal that she had made earlier. The seedlings were quick to notice their creator's departure, and proceeded to do the first thing Hayim programmed them for should they be separated - they simply began to walk into the tree that they had been clinging onto, and made their way Akhuz. Relaxed that the seedlings which he had put so much energy into were going to be safe during his absence, Hayim shifted his focus back onto the task at hand - making sure Iva was alright!

The change in temperature was noticed immediately by the young god, who began to shiver. Iva lived in such a cold, barren place! No wonder she needed friends to help warm them up Climbing down from his perch on the God of Magic, Hayim gazed around the library in all it's glory... Or, all the glory of that room. The nearest table was laden with dozens of scrolls and books, the contents of which Hayim would never be able to grasp in his immense lifetime. Of course, the silly books (which, from what Hayim could see, didn't even have pictures!) were the last thing that Hayim cared to think about in the scene before him - instead, all of his attention was on the Human!

When did Iva get a Human friend?! Hayim loved Humans, so this would be a great thing to bond over!

"Dirka, right! And Hayim! I recognize you from the books! Oh wow, I didn't think I'd meet both of you today either!"

As Hayim was about to greet her and request the traditional giving of hugs, the creature grabbed Hayim by the petals and carried him away. Luckily, the presence of the incredibly sharp claws weren't on Hayim's mind - instead, he was reminding of the urgency with which he needed to respond to Iva's sadness!

"Hayim no can talk now Humie - gotta find I-"

As he passed the threshold of the wall, however, Hayim was cut off by the slamming of the wall. Even if he wasn't blocked by the stone structure, however, he still would have stopped speaking around the time he noticed the blood-covered clothing of the human...

Why did she have animal-friend fur covered in blood? Hayim knew that Humans liked to eat Animal-friends, but how many were here to begin with?

Hayim tried to shake the thought, instead focusing on the task at hand.

The slow ascent up the staircase was devoid of any kind of conversation - Unlike the Animal-friends that Hayim usually encountered, this one seemed to lack any desire to express it's emotions. The slow, methodical steps reminded him somewhat of the seedlings, albeit louder, heavier, and much more coordinated - they both had an almost mechanical quality to them, which Hayim had not focused on during the creation process. Still, questioning of the creature's origins were a nonissue, and was mentally taxing on someone so unused to deep thought.

Hayim simply gave up on this line of thinking, allowing himself to instead focus on the intricate pattern of the stone bricks that made up the stairwell. It was a big difference from the wooden huts that littered Akhuz, and it wasn't really a change that Hayim was appreciative of - it seemed cold and barren, lacking the presence of life that Hayim was so accustomed to. Then again, anything would probably be like that for him, considering how he surrounded himself with life nearly every moment of his existence.

Before he knew it, Hayim was before Iva, the faceless god of knowledge. While the appearance was not one that Hayim was especially fond of, he knew that Iva was upset and needed to be comforted. The creature let him down gently upon the coarse grass, and the mere touch alerted Hayim to it's hardy nature - it was rough surviving in this area. Making his way to the god, Iva began to speak.

"Ah! Brother Hayim! Such a pleasure to see you! If you couldn't tell from my message my heart, it aches! My soul it cries! My body shrieks with sadness! Such a tiring, bland realm this is! Oh every day all I see is nothing but endless cold and empty minds."

While the overly dramatic and exaggerated motions would clearly have made others question the validity to the statements that were being made, Hayim was incredibly nervous and shocked to hear this. He had never heard of a god being upset with their realm - he loved his with every facet of his being, and couldn't imagine it being as barren and deserted as Iva's. Hayim seemed not to notice the beauty that was present in the realm, as he was almost entirely uncaring of the inorganic and nonexplicit. Shaking his 'head', he spoke.

"Please no be upset! Hayim... Hayim think it very pretty!"

Iarus once told Hayim that lies could be a good thing - maybe Iva just needed a little white lie to make themselves feel better about their realm? A flower was held out for Hayim to examine.

"Hayim, you are the only one who can cure the sadness. Make me a wonderful forest here. A place where I can frolic through fields of these flowers, admire nature in all of its beauty!"

Leaping to grab the flower from the god's hand Hayim quickly made his way to the edge of the balcony. While he could probably create a few trees on the top of the tower, the last thing he wanted to do was a poor job. The flower itself wouldn't do to well in such a cold environment - in fact, most plants would die after long-term exposure to the cold. Gathering his energy, Hayim gazed out from the balcony of the library, coldly aware of the task set before him. It would probably take almost double the amount of energy it would normally take to create a forest in such a cold environment. Still, it wasn't like he could simply ignore the pleas of a sibling!

Gathering energy, Hayim could already see the outlines of the plants in his mind - short leaves in order to prevent loss of moisture and frost, flowers with cupped heads to maximize the energy they gained from the sun, hairy stems and shrubs being prevalent, and lichens that coated the ground and any surface they could. Of course, there would need to be trees - that was where he started first. The ground cracked and fissured as dozens - no, as hundreds of trees came from the depths., roots anchoring themselves into the frosty, grass-covered ground. With that taken care of, the majority of his work was taken care of. Pines and Firs dominated their ranks, with pockets of different Evergreens added for flavor.

Hayim then began to populate this area full of a collection of smaller plants - unlike the trees, it was a lot harder to control what types appeared when he spawned them in such a large area. Hayim simply had to hope that there weren't too many that were weak to the cold. They were almost entirely dominated by Tulips and Asters, and even with concentrated effort, only a few seemed to match the flower that Iva had given him.

After only 10 minutes of concentrated effort, a forest nearly a mile long was now dominating the once barren area. The grass would likely die off in certain spots, due to the shadows of the larger trees and shrubs, but Hayim did his best to cause as little death as possible. The entire thing took a great deal of energy - while a mile of forest might only have needed a day's rest to recuperate, the cold resistance, necessary precision, and eagerness to make it beautiful meant that it would take nearly six days to return to his full power.

Dropping the flower onto the ground, Hayim shakily made his way to Iva.

"Iva happy now? Hayim work really hard!"

A gift from Ral… That was plausible. He had heard tales of the God of Treasure gifting the occasional, now legendary, relic to those mortals he favoured or wanted to meddle with. And the winter god had no trouble seeing how someone could favour the handsome figure straddling the mount behind him that he had turned to face. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Gerald,” he replied to the man’s introduction. At the subsequent compliment his ivory cheeks had a hint of blush as he replied with a sparkle of a smile. “You can call me Renvo, short for Renvontulet.”

He turned back to face shore and thought about the journey ahead. If they rode across the Northern Crown they’d still face the other barrier of impassable mountains above his sister’s realm. His only option was to ride across the frozen ocean even further north to circumvent the alpine terrain. He could thicken the sea ice at merely a thought and the horse would carry them to White Dawn within the day.

A screech drew him from his thoughts and he looked upward his voice carrying to the creature despite the ferocious winds. “Tell your creator that I’ll be there by nightfall. And he better have the entrance open because I don’t want to damage his precious Wall.” He watched the creature fly off, its direct route back to Cy'Lathak ultimately faster than their circuitous route.

As the god eased the steed into a trot, he shouted back to the figure behind him. “I’m heading to White Dawn as I have a…” he hesitated, “gathering to attend nearby. You can continue your search for this mystery artefact from there.” It saddened him that he would soon have to part from his companion but he could not risk exposing a mortal to the mind testing knowledge, reality unravelling logic and knife-edged madness of Cy’Lathak. He would part ways with the golden-eyed man at the Wall of Hlakth, but leave him with an enchanted wisp to guide him through the Lyssian Forest toward the growing civilisation of the White Dawn.

He wouldn’t be able to hear a reply even if Gerald gave him one as the steed galloped across the ice at supernatural speed. It would be a couple of hours before they reached landfall but, knowing that he would soon have to say goodbye, Sveiand did not want to talk anymore to the stranger for fear of his growing interest hindering a clean, clinical farewell – the goodbye being inevitable when the magical horse finally slowed when he reached the entrance to Iva’s realm.

For a few brief, fleeting moments, Quill was content. The nagging, bothersome questions had ended. All that was left was a tranquil horse ride across the ice and snow. The stranger had also given him a name, Renvo. He doubted that was his real name, but Quill was never much for real names, even barring the current situation. A chosen name always felt more important than a given name.

Then, Renvo ruined the whole scene. He had to bring up the end of the journey. Quill never minded having a journey come to an end, but he never really liked to talk about it before it happened. Quill also tended to avoid the machinations of the gods, they were always to messy and complicated. However, his curiosity had started to get the better of him, however it was going to get further entangled into this mess, he would need great protection against detection.

As they traveled across this land, Quill used his divine presence in order to sneakily weave power into his clothing so that no being could see his true nature. He would love to change his eye color, but Renvo had already seen his true eye color. Not only that, but he simply did not know how. However the power of travel is forever fleeting, but it should last at least a day or two.

While a part of him wanted to simply see him part ways without any consequences, a greater part of him wanted to see what lurked ahead.

He began to casually speak to himself with full intention for Renvo to hear him, "I am fearful my journey would end in an abrupt manner. Maybe it would be better for the relic to be lost to time itself, but what if a cruel or mad god had managed to obtain it. I am fearful of what they made do with my master's tool. But how is one mortal suppose to oppose the will of the god."

He then paused, and feigned as though he had caught himself speaking aloud, "I am sorry, was I speaking aloud. Sometimes my lips follow where ever my mind wanders to. It such a bad habit."

"Ah, brother Hayim its lovely!" Iva picked up the tired plant God, picking him up and letting him rest on his shoulders, affectionately nuzzling the small god with his faceless visage. "So many new things in the Library! Things to catalogue! Study! Classify! Oh I only wish I had enough time to frolic through them." Picking up the flower he had given Hayim, Iva replaced it in his horns. "So busy as of late. Gammaton wants to call an assembly of all of us Gods." Iva began moving away from the balcony, back into the library proper with his usual slow but purposeful gait when he was thinking.

"And he asked me of all gods to help him, heh! A funny idea, isn't it Hayim?" He laughed, now free from the cold outside his realm as he headed back to the ground floor. "Me of all gods, wanting to join an assembly of order. Hah! A laughably silly and absolutely pathetic idea." Iva's words took a darker tone towards the end, but he quickly shut himself up with a small clearing of his throat. They had once again reached the ground floor, where Iva let Hayim down on a nearby table.

"...ah. Anyways. I'll have to catch up later. I have more guests arriving it seems." The Aho'Nohg he had dispatched to Svieand had returned - with a new coat of fur to boot! Curious, but likely just so it could better survive the frigid conditions of Niflheim. "Have fun with little La-Zha Dirka! Don't go easy on her, haha! But don't kill her or make her brain dead either. Too long has been spent and I will not have anyone meddle in my experiments..." Swiftly moving towards the portal he had set up in the library for gods and other important people, Iva passed by Gammaton's study along the way.

"Little Gammy! So many guests! Dirka, Hayim, and even Svieand is on his way here! What an arousing bit of fun! Don't be a spoilsport and go say hi! Nerplagius has also said he would attend this assembly!" Of course, Gammaton was free to ignore that and continue working on the favor Iva asked of him. Perhaps might be better too - for if he somehow didn't finish or come up with satisfactory results by the dead line Iva perhaps might get a little irritable.

And no one wanted that.

Pirouetting through the portal once more, Iva arrived at the wall, with the Lyssian forest sprawled out before him. Ah, the Hag's face wouldn't do, would it? No no, Andy preferred the males. Hee! Perhaps he should be flattered. To little time to think about it. It didn't take long to find the other God in his presence, and Iva quickly made his way to him.

"Ah Brother! An totally not unexpected yet rare visit! How fare thee?"

The form of the Scholar was one Iva rarely took, unless he was teaching or otherwise feeling irritable. It was often times associated with his more violent impulses, the form he took when irritated, angry, or lashing out in demented insanity. If one might have spent time in White Dawn - they'd also have noticed the Kadisht's and Lloi's wore similar clothing as to him. Conversely, the Hag was Mania - a the manic, happy and impulsive. Always doing things with a smile regardless what it was doing.

"...ah?" Upon noticing the mortal, Iva's faceless mask turned to them. "What is this? Taking a sweet little thing to my Library for a romp? I'll have you know the only one allowed to romp there is me! And maybe little La-Zha and the B'thkor. We could romp together, heh! Oh I wonder how that would even work..." Seemingly lost in some thought for a moment Iva turned back to Svieand. "Here for the tea party, then? A few others are already here."

@Dealdric

"Eheheh. I didn't think most gods would be this affectionate." Lahzria laughed in a friendly manner as she was picked up and hugged by the goddess, but her enjoyment quickly turned to mild confusion. "...Prohpet?" Lahzria blinked. Was that Iva's plan? A prophet of sorts? Oh. Well, that seemed actually a fairly logical conclusion after everything that's happened. She couldn't say she could complain either - if it meant what she thought it did...then she'd be the first human to step foot outside of White Dawn in ages! Not since the Illuminator told them to settle here! The thought of it alone was enough to get her excited.

"What - " But before she could say anything, blackness filled her vision. She felt...weightless. Like floating in an endless abyss. Yet even so, the mark on her hand shone slightly, like a beacon. She felt herself leave her own body, floating away until she had arrived at her destination.

"Wah!" Stumbling lightly from the sudden transfer, the human stumbled to the ground, having tripped over her own feet. "Oof...jeez, warn me next time before you do that!" She laughed. "Uh...so Lessons?" This place didn't look like any lesson room she had ever seen. Not that she was complaining. If she had to sit in a tent and listen while some old man droned on and on about history and things she already knew, she'd have probably stabbed something.

Having dismounted the horse, Sveiand had led it through the Lyssian forest by foot and was nearly at the place in the wall where he knew an old entrance to the Knowledge God's realm had existed on one of his visits eons ago. He was examining the immense barrier when he heard a familiar voice behind him. He turned to see his sibling in his male humanesque visage. Before he could respond to the, as always, bizarre welcome, the follow diety had noticed his travel companion behind him, beside the horse.

A little romp?! The pale god of frost and snow gained colour in his cheeks for the second time that day. He could not help but glance at Gerald to judge his response at the comment before regaining his composure and returning to the face-less mask before him. His long memory summoned ancient emotions of when he'd thought such a thing was possible with the god of knowledge themselves. Those many days planning, designing and constructing one of the greatest realms in existence. He had grown close to the clean obsessive figure before their interests in humans had diverged. The eternal, curious guest for the 'new' twisting the mind and actions of the one he remembered treasuring wonder and awe. While his relationship with humanity became one of lust, unfulfilled love and subsequent ambivalence. In his re-awoken curiosity for the world, he wondered if a romp was still possible with the god of knowledge... but doubted the interest would be returned.

He re-focused as Iva finished speaking. “A pleasure as always you cranky librarian," he replied with a wry smile. He turned to the golden-eyed man with regret in his eyes. “Gerald, I wish you all the luck in your quest. The tribes of White Dawn are the most knowledgeable of the Northern peoples. If anyone knows anything about an artifact anywhere near the Crown it will be them." He embraced the man before turning back to the large wall before him. “Come on then you mind mage open a portal into that labyrinth of yours before the good tea is stewed and not brewed, let's leave this mortal to it..." He cast a sad smile back at... Gerald...

Now back at the peak of the mountains leading to the labs below, Nerplaguis orders his sentinel to deliver the captured "Fear substance" back to his lab. He's definitely going to have a field day experimenting with it. He has already considered making a potent fear toxin out of it that can paralyze a person's nervous system, leaving them utterly defenseless while lying in their own puddles of urine. Just seeing them suddenly plop down in an instant makes him giddy about the entire thing. But before he can go down, he needs to take a quick look for a specific herb in his little outside garden that can make his newfound toxin even more potent. Hemlock.

Yet not more than a few minutes later, he finds himself looking at a big grey dragon flapping towards his very position. He points his pointy beak towards it in a somewhat annoyed fashion.

"Oh ho?" he chirps curiously, "What's a dragon doing up here in my garden? Can't you see that I'm busy with my breaking new experiment? I would hate if you are here to burn everything here to the ground..."

Yet the dragon isn't here to burn the Plague God's stuff to ash, rather he's here for a much different purpose. A rat had stole his gem, a gem belonging to Terzotz, the Black Dragon of Magic. Already, Nerplaguis, believed him to be one of Sister Dirka's most recent magical experiments. The dragon believes that the rat that had stolen it belonged to the plague god and wanted him to give it back to him.

"My rats are known to steal many things." the masked god says rather bluntly as he continues searching for the herb, "But they only really steal different types of herbs, spices, and crops from the local mortals to assist in my experiments. Not often do they steal these shiny rocks. I would say you are looking in the wrong place, but..."

The plague god then turns around to face the giant dragon.

"It appears that one rat in particular appears to have been stealing more... valuable items as of late." he admits, "I do not know which of my rats have been hoarding such useless trinkets - it's never at home - but perhaps it's the same one that has your precious gem. Today we shall both find the true culprit! Let me just bring em' all here for role-call."

With that, Nerplaguis unveils a bone-white horn made of a deceased bull and blows into it. The loud, low-humming, rumble eventually summoned a huge horde of around a hundred rats to line up just a few feet away from the two beings. The beaked god looks ahead of the various plague-infested rats that were all standing at attention like the little servants they are.

"Excellent!" he cooes as he takes out a long stick, "Alright everyone! Before I make my announcement, allow me to issue a quick roll-call to see if everyone is here. So! Annethi, Algeronn, Alphie..."

This would go on for several long minutes before Nerplaguis was finally finished. And according to him, it seemed all was in order. But as he scanned his list again, he suddenly realized something.

"Hmmm... that's odd." he wondered curiously, "It seems like I missed someone. Who did I...?"

He then suddenly remembers a certain rat of his that he didn't remember seeing during role-call. An ordinary brown mouse with red-eyes, a scar running down his back, and had a chopped tail.

"Where's Jimbo?" Nerplaguis asked aloud, "Could've sworn I saw him here... let me do roll call again..."

If one could look closely at the Plague God's robe however, one might be able to see a large moving lump hidden underneath around his collar area... could it be the thieving rodent?

It has been far too long since we've heard Father's voice. Something has changed in the world and we can no longer sit and wait. The time to act is now….

-Musings of Bahdu

TIME: Present | LOCATION: Tal'Dorei -Surkesh Jungle | INTERACTION:

The view from the top of the the temple was spectacular and could not be disputed. As the sun rose over the canopy of the distant jungle the song of the birds was already in full swing as Bahdu gazed upon the empire his Father left him. It had been too long since His voice had been heard by the Glint-Scales and the concern of his people was growing. As if on cue the high priest came giving his report,

”Lord Bahdu, it has been twenty cycles and we still have heard nothing from the Creator. The warriors and hunters are becoming restless and whispers of a revolution are about.”

Quietly contemplating turned to face his priest. SInce his birth there hasn't been a time that Iarus has not spoken in some form to him and with this fundamental shift in the world it was time to move upon the dream his Father spoke on.

”Siddiq, do you think we have become lax? Father used to speak of building a great army and conquering the rest of the world. Yet we stay here and cultivate our society...have we become too soft?”

The mage stood quiet, unable to truly answer his king. Through the deafening silence Bahdu began descending the steps of his temple palace mind already made up.

”Siddiq, I am going away for a while it is time that I make a pilgrimage.”

”Alright, I will gather our best war…”

”ALONE…”

TIME: Present | LOCATION: Terratoria | INTERACTION: @Lmpkio

The creatures indifference towards the God of the Sun was of slight irritation to him but upon reading the message upon the parchment Apolios quickly understood as to why the it acted as it did. Almost as if on que Hyperion returned from his march in the mortal realm,

”Brother Hyperion, it appears the Lord of Flies and the White Star have joined forces and are calling for meeting of the gods within the Library. Gammaton I can understand but the Illuminator has me concerned as to his involvement. We should proceed with caution but make an appearance as a show of unity".

Terzotz noticed the lump. He snickered. "It appears, lord of plagues, that 'Jimbo' is closer than you think." he said, pointing at the lump. He thought it amusing that the god couldn't feel a rat crawling on him. But then again, Dirka was only half-way in our realm and halfway in another mentally, always oblivious to certain things. Maybe that's how it was for all gods? He had no clue...

...but it was still funny.

@Rune_Alchemist

Dirka snapped her fingers and the mentally projected men carried her throne over to a tent an sat her underneath it. She snapped her fingers again and a puppet with no face, with robes fell from above. It got up on it's own and stared at Dirka. She nodded at Lahzia, indicating what she wanted it to do. It cocked it's head. "Well? Attack her! It stumbled for a moment, then cast a bolt of fire at the human. It, of course, would do no real harm, but Lahzia didn't know that.

"Eh?" the clueless plague god wondered as he glances over to the dragon.

Next thing he knows, he realizes what he meant as he finally feels something crawling around his neck.

"Jimbo!" Nerplaguis screeches as he tries to grab him, "Why are you hiding?! Get to role-call you mother-mickey mouse!"

The rat would hop straight of his his cloak as he plops down to the ground with a light thump. And low and behold, it had a black gem tied to its back. How it was able to achieve such a feat no one knows, but it's all getting clearer by the second.

"You sneaky rat-bag!" the plague god screams furiously, "I'll show you what happens when you defy me! Begone!"

And with a twirl of his staff, he points it at the rat and out came a greenish-yellow beam of vile poison. It would kill the rat instantly upon impact, causing it to squeal one last breath before it plopped on the floor. As it lays twitching on the ground, Nerplaguis would quickly walk towards Jimbo with a disappointing stance.

"Jimbo, my most loyal servant, how could you do this?!" the plague god wails in overdramatic anguish, "We were my best friend! Why did you steal such priceless jewelry! I swear I~"

But before he could continue and take back the gem, a resonating energy began to emit from the rat as it began to undergo a violent transformation. It began to suddenly grow larger, seemingly mutating as it's features became heavily exaggerated in the process. It's teeth became much larger, it's feet began to grow large sharp claws, it's tail grew twice as long than it's body, and it's eyes became much more yellow. By the time these few seconds past, Jimbo had turned into a horrifying monster just slightly bigger than the black dragon. It howls angrily as a rogue thunderbolt rumbled in the background. Nerplaguis couldn't believe what he was seeing.

"W-WHAT?!" he asks himself flabbergastingly as he gets to his feet, "HOW IS IT STILL ALIVE?! I thought I killed him with rat-poison!"

He then takes a look at his staff and samples the toxic substance emitting from the cattle skull's eye sockets.

"Wait a minute!" the plague god answered regrettably, "This isn't rat poison! This is Uranium Sample-1954!"

He looks up at Jimbo-zilla glaring down at him with a purposeful grimace and a terrible sound emitting from it's treacherous maw.

"JIMBO WHAT HAVE I DONE TO YOU?!"

With that, the giant mutated rat began to charge at the black dragon with murderous intent. If he's going to get his precious gem back, he's going to have to face a giant mutated rat to get to it.

A giant... god-damn... mutated... rat.

@Archangel89 - Apollos & @Rune_Alchemist - Message

The God of Light listens carefully to Apollos' heed to caution, while reading the letter they've been sent. Brother Gammaton was a close ally to him and one who also values order over chaos. After all, he was the embodiment of law and order. Iva, on the other hand, appears to favor more discord over order as he hordes all the valuable knowledge to himself. It feels rather out of place that he sides with them judging from his own experiences. However, perhaps there is some logical merit to this? Hyperion wasn't sure about this, but nonetheless he quickly makes his decision.

"Yes." he nods in agreement, "I agree. We will attend this assembly, but Iva siding with order is perplexingly unnatural. I know not of what plans he has brewing in his mind, but indeed we must be cautious."

He'd then point to the letter with his glowing metallic finger as he gives his seal of agreement.

"Tell Brother Iva, that we shall attend the assembly." he states towards the messenger.

"Cranky? Me? Perish the thought! I'm a barrel of laughs!" Iva replied in a mildly irritable tone before turning his attention to the human. "Haha, you think a mortal couldn't stand against a god?" Waving one hand dramatically through the air, Iva twirling the staff in his hand once before placing his hand on the haft, leaning most of his body weight on it. "How droll! You should know very soon a little mortal will be striking fear into the hearts of gods, hahaha!" A pause. "...oh, silly me going and spilling information like that, heh! Oh well! It'll make it more interesting! Go on little mortal, White Dawn shall be very welcoming! But don't stay for long, tee-hee! I am going to be having some fun with them soon." Swiftly turning and locking his staff under his arm, Iva began to walk.

"A little catch-up for you." He began. "Sister Dirka is also here. As is Hayim! Did I mention Gammaton was also here already? Brother Nerpalagius has also agreed to come to our little assembly. So busy busy and not enough time for myself. Gah! Do these imbeciles not realize how busy I am!?" He shouted in a mildly angry manner, before turning on his heels, waving the staff in his hands. "Here we are! One way ticket to the library!"

The portal behind him opened swiftly at his command, waiting for the god of cold to walk through before he followed suit. The large halls of the library were as oddly oppressive and grand as usual, though Iva certainly didn't seem to mind.

"Do be careful! Wipe your feet on the way in! The Library doesn't like those who track in mud. Hmm...?" There was a sharp screech, as one of the Aho'Nohg landed on the floor nearby. "...Expected! Wonderfully boring, ha! Seems Hyperion and Apolios will also be attending. Ah, no fun those two." He grunted, doing another pirouette, casting off his human guise as he past Dirka and Lazhira once more.

"Don't bother them, they're busy doing...rompy things, hee!" He laughed, waving a hand dismissively to the Aho'Nohg. "Go tell Gammaton who's all attending this get together. We'll need to set a specific date. Feel free to use this floor as you please. One of the Aho'Nohg or little Zavhitri will show you to a guest room if you want. I have...things to do in the experiment halls."

@Dealdric

"...eh?" Lahzria stared at the doll. "Attack?!" Before she could contemplate it, the wooden construct locked onto her. Somehow, it tossed a fireball right in her direction. "Eeep!" With a shout of fright, Lahzria somehow managed to dive to the side. Quickly rolling, she pushed herself back to a kneeling position as she got ready to dodge again if it lobbed another. "Hahah...guess I shouldn't have expected anything else." She grumbled. Well now this was quite the predicament. Using her knife would just be a bad show, even if it was the logical thing for her to do. On the other hand...she had no idea how magic worked. At all. She had never used it before in her life.

"Haha, I don't suppose a small lesson would be a good idea?"
