Well I can see him being close friends with Ros and therefore allies with Dra.
He’d probably just ignore Kai to be honest maybe threaten with a chill.

What do you say we go dragon hunting to make an ice dragon?

Yeah you can just ignore Kai lol

And gladly!

Just a quick FYI, my little story about the Sin Curse is the worst case scenario for a human. Stronger willed individuals will be able to fight their darker temptations for a time, but all succumb, with varying effects. Divine intervention can cure individuals, especially Hayim I imagine, plus the dulling properties of Ahkuz.

@Lord Zee I do have a question about the curse. Will it just randomly trigger in humans? Or is there something that sets them off?

@Legion02

This glorious passion of hatred is unleashed by knowingly committing the worst sins. But how can one define a sin? In the context of this curse, it arrives with fervor after transgression upon fellow man. Though Anu cares little to admit it, humans are intelligent, they think and act upon those thoughts. Now an act of murder, an act of evil, an act of misguided lust, would have dire consequence.

The curse itself, drives those afflicted to keep indulging their sin. This compulsion has varying effects, with the strong willed able to keep hold of themselves at first, but just like the weak, they will succumb, loosing all trace of their humanity.

In the case of Calak, he had never killed a man before, thus the curse was dormant. After dealing with men with the curse active, he grew to hate them. The curse has a way of projecting itself unto others, so it can activate. When Calak killed, he had sealed his fate. Even though he thought it was the right thing, he still committed murder. It was he who acted upon his own thoughts, thus the curse came alive inside of him and it drove him to keep sinning, in this case, killing.

Like I said, to be fair, this curse works in different ways for different people. Some might be affected immediately, others might have a slow build up. Willpower is the only tool right now that would slow it down.

So how does one kill another human without the curse activating? Self defense is one, hanging is another, an unwanted accident wouldn't trigger it either. As long as an individual doesn't actually kill a person with a weapon or their own hands, minus self defense, then the curse won't activate. It's all about having consequences to a sin you knowingly commit. Lust breeds more lust. Murder breeds more murder. Greed breeds more greed, etc.

The three men who were tied to the post acting crazy, are just worse case scenarios on how an individual might act without their humanity. Most will be crazed in their pursuit to get a 'fix'. The sin, becomes the only goal to achieve in the end, no matter the cost.

Welp, I couldn't settle for one god, so I decided to come up with another! And considering we have darkness, why not slap someone on the opposite spectrum on to it as well?

Meanwhile, I think I went a "little" too far when designing and making the entire army and units for him. If this needs to be nerfed, by all means let me know.

Another post from me. Hopefully no one minds me having a bit of fun with this current story involving Lahzira too much, but I don't want to just have her stuff all happen behind the scenes and pull something outta nowhere later since she's gonna be kinda important for White Dawn.

EDIT:
Oh, and I hope Dirka likes her gift, hah.

@Lmpkio - As far as his army is concerned I think the armor and weaponry available to them is quite a bit further ahead of pretty much everyone at this stage of the world. Humanity's not really even at the bronze age yet so having a military comprised of flying knights clad in plate mail and such might be a bit out of his reach, especially given how he's the god of light, not technology or even metals.

I'd say that sort of army would probably be better left as something to work towards in-rp. Maybe he'd want to get Ferron in on that business, get ahead of the curve by being one of the first nations to develop proper metal armor.

Those mages best follow the rules of magic, else Dirka might throw a tantrum. Also, I know the main god picture is actually a concept art for game character(if you got it from said source). I happen to like that game very much, so props to you.

Fair enough. If anything, I can definitely tone down the army significantly. Maybe have more of the basic units with rather basic weaponry and then make the way up from there.

Other then that, is Hyperion OK?

@Lmpkio - I'd say so. Do bear in mind that in creating all these powerful structures and such the god himself would be fairly exhausted by such an amount of work, not to mention if he cares to perform any actual upkeep on the majority of it.

Most of the work is generally managed by the general populous below. The Senate and everything governmental properties take care of most of the physical work, while Hyperion just sits there planning on the next potential crusade against chaos.

In that case, I'll be adding him. However, I'll still have to decide which units are to be added into his base army. Ill let you know what Ive planned once I get to that point.

@Lmpkio@A Lowly Wretch

We should do well not to forget our own lore. The world as it sits, is in the stone age. I would find it hard to believe a government would be founded so early, especially by a god of Light. Though we can create things out of our domain just a bit, how would Hyperion have taught them so much beyond his jurisdiction?

Now by no means am I knocking the character, I find him great actually, I just think we should be building up with what he have so far and not have an already advanced civilization. But these are just my opinions, do what you will.

@Lmpkio - As far as physical stuff goes that's fine. According to his realm info the cities themselves got some potent light magic and unless it's Dirka's magic he's the one supplying the power ultimately. Such is the same with all light magic his followers use.

Edit:@Lord Zee - Well with each god having realms that include structures unique to themselves exceptions can occur. I will admit though that having his followers build these structures without aid from the god of knowledge or otherwise does strike a bit odd. It'd make more sense if it was his creation as opposed to his followers.

I'd also like to voice a similar concern as Lord Zee.

As @A Lowly Wretch, Iva's Civilization should currently be the most advanced. And they have nothing like what this light god has because of the primitive state of the world. They do have a rudimentary government, fishing, boats, and an ability to build traps, hunt with relative ease, and make simple tools and structures.

Mortals shouldn't be making any large multi-story structures yet because that knowledge has yet to exist outside of Iva's Library and he wouldn't give it out freely.

Just my two cents though.

Simply light magic. That's all.

The city is of his creation. However it's also monitored by a primitive government. However, if you don't want that happening, I can get rid of these portions.

Edit: I did get rid of the Senate and governmental portions btw

I am not entirely sure what to do right now. I think the best thing for me that would put me in a better position to post moving forward is just going ahead and creating the dwarves in their own city. (Which I plan is just a big metal gate out front that leads into a cavern, some stone houses, a metal temple, a basin full of water, and a moss farm that Ferron set up for them.)

The reason I am doing it is this way is because I have some plans for the dwarves, and that he really can't do anything with humans in the current age.
