Nale's homeworld... yeah, let's call it the Spire, is full of potential. Vampires, mages, spirits, fey, you name it. The only rule that remains constant there is "No strength without weakness". In other words whatever power you gain also makes you vulnerable to something else (Vampires to sunlight, werewolves to silver etc.).

Nale was sent out to act as a spy to search for Kazzok's vulnerability (people of the Spire go by the assumption that other worlds follow the rule of No Strength without Weakness, whether or not that's true) and study his forces. He would also act as an assassin if it came to that.

I tried to make it so that his Perfect Stealth isn't too OP.

I know a way or two for Kazzok to make his own heroes (or maybe villains), but more on that in the OOC.

Oh, 'The Spire' is the tower-castle-anchor, but I can always come up with more names for things.

I wouldn't worry too much about Kazzok's forces. I already have two or three 'bosses' lined up as well as a handful of 'mini-boss' types of characters to be potentially encountered.

I mean, Cybertech may as well be magic... Sorry, I'm really on the fence about opening up to the potential of non-magitech/steampunk. I didn't consider it being brought up.

@Lumiere If it helps, I was starting to think of an idea for just mildly more advanced fantasy. Basically, the most advanced weapon would be a flintlock, which the dude I had in mind wouldn't use anyway, and the guy I was thinking of making was a dubiously legal man turned hero of the realm due to him stopping the Cult of Slattur, but then he was tragically defeated by King Kazzok. How does that idea sound?

Edit - He's also a fire and animation mage. Fire pertains to flames, explosions, and heat, but animation basically brings things into a sort of nonthinking but obedient life. Animation doesn't work on already living materials and is heavily regulated and licensed in the world of Cavenia, or at least was.

@Lumiere - In regards to the hemomancer he was not native to the world of eternal night.

I'm leaning closer to going with my chipper zombie-knight character though. Seems easier to work into the setting personally though they could both work it seems.
