The princess nodded. She took a deep breath. She frowned.
"I...I'm just not sure what to do now."
She was full of sorrow and regret.

He smiles. "They need to eat, and drink, just like everyone else. Poison them."

Cesidia frowns. “How do you expect me to do that?”

He smiles. "By simply traveling with me to the Underworld to retrieve some of course."

Cesidia frowns and crosses her arms. “I meant how do you expect me to get close enough to the goblin supplies?”

"I could fly in. But I'm selfish. I'm sure you'll find a way though."

Cesidia rolls her eyes. “Yes I agree that your selfish. When are we going to the underworld. I want to join the fight as soon as I can.”

He draws a flaming pentagram on the ground, and a ragged hole tears itself open in front of him, showing a world of red stone, obsidian, and flames. "Now." He smiles. "It's very, very hot down there. You sure you want to go in in so many layers?"

Cesidia sighs and takes off her coat. She looks down at her dress. “This will have to do.” She steps up to the hole and looks back at him. She extends her hand to him.

He takes her hand, careful not to cut her with his claws, and steps into the burning landscape. "You might want to cover your nose and mouth so you can breathe."

Cesidia nods and covers her mouth and nose with her sleeve, and she follows him in. Her eyes widen in awe and wonder as she looks around.

He waves his hand at the blazing landscape. "Welcome to The Pit." His eyes glow a vibrant ruby. "Gold flows in rivers here, but as long as we're here, never leave my side. For any reason. The other beings that live here would happily devour you."

Quincy nods then sees some more soldiers " now if you excuse me princess I need to help some of my men " he says and runs over to his soldiers

Cesidia smiles at the landscape from behind her sleeve. “I like it here, but let’s get this poison and go.”

Deo Bearrider and the Thunder Claws were returning to the kingdom. They had been away on a mission to deal with bandits attacking supply caravans to the East. It was short work for the Aerial Calvery Unit, but it had taken them away from the capital longer than expected. Coming over the horizon, the riders of Mechanical Dragons didn't take long to see something was very wrong. Deo was riding point and was first to notice the smoke. "Something is amiss." He muttered to himself. The rest of his soldiers realised pretty quickly. "Andrion, what do you see?" Deo asked. As the unit's best sniper, Andrion's musket had the best targeting gem, allowing him to see farther than the others.
The Sniper shouldering his weapon frowned. "Goblins." Deo frowned at this as well. "Looks like they got most of the town infested.," Andrion continued. "Ok, we need to set up and fortify the resistance." Deo turned to his unit. "We are gonna save the drinking and merrymaking until we save the town. I know it's not ideal, but it's what we signed up for." He turned back to the city which was fast approaching. "Andrion, I want you up top. Keeping overwatch." The sniper's dragon pitched up, moving higher than the rest of the unit.

Deo touched the sending stone on the back of his dragon's neck.
A sending stone is a magical stone, that allows telepathic communication with an individual. It is only one way and a little unreliable if the other user doesn't also possess one. He was mentally searching for someone who could tell him what was going on. Specifically the Princess or General. If the General was alive, he would no doubt be with the Princess or leading an attack on the Goblins, and he needed his Unit at either of those locations.

The princess was with the injured nobles and knights still. She took a breath and sighed. A tear rolled down her cheek. She felt helpless. She stepped outside their little hideaway for a moment to inspect the situation. That was when she heard a sword being unsheathed. She turned behind her and gasped as a goblin with a sword charged at her. She screamed.

He nods, and leads her down a dark, sweltering tunnel. "We're looking for a large, flaming scorpion of a sort. It looks the same, but it's the size of a small pony. Don't get stung."

Cesidia nods. “Sounds easy enough.” She looks around and points to an oversized blazing scorpion. “Is that it?”

Quinn tackles the goblin attacking the princess and stabs it with his knife
