Quincy grunts and stays back circling again

Deo casually pulled the knife from his shoulder and smirked. “Give up yet?” He asked. He looked the Medic in the eyes. Something was different there. Something darker lurked beneath the surface now.

Quincy shakes his head " nope" he says and holds his knife

"They do have power, granted to them by whatever it is they worship."

“You sure?” He asked, “you look...” without missing a beat, he threw the knife he had pulled from his shoulder at Quincy’s head. “Tired.” He continued as he rushed forward, only a mere moment after the knife. He expected Quincy to duck, if he didn’t, he’d end up with a knife in his face. The duck would put Quincy right in the path Deo’s blade coming around, planning to strike with the blunt edge. This wasn’t the end of the technique though, as the sword stroke followed through, Deo shifted into a squat, and launched upwards. Literally jumping over where Quincy was standing. Landing on the other side, just far enough away that the knife could reach him, but close enough to rest his sword blade under Quincy’s chin.

“Whatever, they could be rainbow unicorns for all I care. That’s not the point. I’m dying for my home, not for a bunch of strangers. So when are we taking down the big one?”

Quincy sees the knife cooking and sidesteps letting it nick his nose a bit he then ducked and slid underneath the sword stroke and rolled forward then popped up far enough away from the sword

He lands on the ash crusted floor, and waves his hand in the air, grasping at something. "Not close enough."

Cesidia frowns and tentatively lets go when she feels that the floor is solid. She steps back and meets his eyes. “First we need to know where he’s at, unless you already know.”

"Nope. He doesn't like staying in one place. But he tends to stay near the back of the army. That's where I'm trying to head to."

Cesidia nods then frowns. “Trying?”

[Shadow Dragon]

He smiles. "Directions in the underworld are much different then yours. It is the realm of Chaos."

Cesidia frowns and raises an eyebrow, unimpressed. “Okay..? Well, do your thing and I’ll do mine.”

His hand stops on a point in midair, and he begins peeling a strip of the air away, opening another ragged hole. "Hurry, I can't hold this open for very long."

Cesidia hikes her skirts and sprints through the hole.

He walks out after her, his tail whipping out of the rift right as it closes.

Cesidia frowns as she looks around. “Where are we?”

[Shadow Dragon]

He looks around. "Hum....I overshot some. We're behind the goblin army. But we're about a four day walk there."

Cesidia gives him a deadpan look, then she sighs. “Long walks in dresses isn’t my strong suit so we better get going.”

"It's about a......six or so hour flight."
