He watches the locket spin, and sees the writing. "What is this?" He takes the locket, flipping it over in his hand. "Curse this infernal cursive. What does it say?" He tosses it to Marin.

Marin catches it easily. "It says, 'to the love of my life. From, Jason.' Yes, they're definitely in love."

"I need to know more about this, 'Jason'."

Marin nods. "You wish for me to return to the humans and learn more?"

"As soon as possible. Perhaps you'll surprise me."

Npc:
Jason was back in town. He was asking around about Emily. He was worried about her. He became furious when rumors of her parents 'sending her away to be married' reached his ears.

He looks at Emily's limp, unconscious body.

Emily remained like that for some time. There was silence. There was no response either.

Marin nods and closes her eyes. When she shifts, a carbon copy of Emily remains. “Or should I be someone else?”

"Hum.....do you know enough about her to mimic her enough without arousing suspicion?"

Marin frowns thoughtfully. “Hmm...” the Valentines told her a lot about Emily as a child, but as an adult.. She shakes her head. “No.” She shifts into a mildly beautiful brunette. “This should do,” she looks down at herself.

He studies her for a moment and sighs. "Anyone with useful information would see though that disguise."

Marin arches an eyebrow and sighs, then she shifts back into her normal appearance. “Are you sure, my lord? Remember these are humans.” She frowns faintly in thought.

"What if someone she's close to asks a question about her that you don't know the answer to?"

Marin tilts her head a little and she frowns. She shifts into a random brunette. “That is why I won’t go as Emily.”

He nods. "Use any means at your disposal to gather information."

Npc:
Jason was still asking questions. He demanded to know where Emily was. No one knew. No one could tell him. Her parents knew but they refused to answer him. Jason was both worried about Emily and furious with others.

Marin nods. “Yes sir.” She returns to the humans, and she looks around. She’d taken the locket with her so she could know who she’s looking for. She’s pointed to Jason. She taps his shoulder shyly. “Excuse me?”

Npc:
Jason blinked. He looked behind him and saw her.
"Excuse me, I am a little busy at the moment."
He looked around as if looking for something or someone. He was quite upset.
