Marin sighs. “I’m not sure, but most are afraid of people like me, magical people. I accidentally shifted in front of a human, and he tried to burn me.”
Marin frowns at the darkening sky, then seems to remember something. “You said your a magician, right? I’d love to see a show sometime, maybe I’d be able to give you some tips as to how to make it more realistic. I can’t do magic myself beyond shape shifting, but I worked with an esteemed sorcerer for quite a long time. If you want, of course.”
Angel frowned. "...if you say so." She leaned against him. "...I doubt it though. you would have erased my memory as well, but since you forgot me..."

Eric blinked. He turned red. "That...that's ok. you don't have to." He bit his lip for a moment. Her suggestion felt like she was asking him out on a date, he thought. "but...but you can see a show if you'd like."
"I made some deals with some powerful and strange beings, but one of the conditions was that they'd get the freedom of everyone I loved. So I wiped you away, to keep you free." He chokes back a sob. "I've been such a fool."
Marin frowns faintly then shrugs. "Alright. I just thought it would draw more crowds, but if you're certain I'll leave you alone." She frowns when she realizes it's getting late, and swears under her breath in an ancient language.
Eric blinked. "i'm sorry. did I do something wrong?" He frowned. "I just didn't want a beautiful girl to work hard like that because of me." He blushed.
…………………….
Angel blinked. "take your time." She faintly smiled.
