Alright so here's a temp CS for y'all to start running ideas by me. To be clear THIS IS NOT THE FULL CS, that will come with the OOC, where I have more background information laid out.
Name: Claim your demon Appearance: Link an image or describe your demonic form. If you have a human host, describe that too. Powers: Angels were once imbued with the power of creation by GOD. What power do you hold now, twisted by your millennia of imprisonment in Hell? Personality: Demons are inhuman creatures, each one older than the Earth itself. Take that into consideration as you describe your character and attitudes. Allegiance: Who do you claim loyalty to? The Morningstar? One of his usurpers? Or to none but yourself? Legions: What demonic legions do you command? Describe them here.
Again, the real CS will have more going on, but this is enough to get you started.
Question about the powers. Are we going with the Ars Goetia descriptions of them, or more demonic physiology type abilities?
@ZAVAZggg Strike a balance. Like I said in the OP, your character should be clearly based on its Goetic description, but not strictly so. Here is one of the influences on this RP that you might consult for inspiration.
Still a WIP, but this is something I have so far for Haagenti.
Name:
Haagenti
Title:
| "Great President" | "Beastmaster" |
Appearance:
Standing at 2 meters tall from head to feet, Haagenti's body is comprised of a mishmash of various bestial characteristics. He has the skeletal head of a wilderbeest, with glowing red eyes and sporting long hooked horns. He also has a strong humanoid physique, with hair and protruding spiny plates running down his upper body and thick leathery skin that coats his inner torso. Two crow-like wings jet from his broad shoulders, which unfortunately do not allow him the power of flight. He also sports clawed hands, bovine-like hooves, and has a long reptilian tail that ends in a club of fur.
Haagenti's seal can be found on his forehead, however it is only visible when it glows.
Powers:
Bestial Corruption: Having the unofficial title as "Beastmaster", Haagenti has the ability to possess and/or control nearly any non-sentient, organism within his nearby vicinity. The beasts under his control turn into hideous monstrosities and are buffed significantly to become formidable units in his ever growing army of demonic monsters. He is also capable of manipulating non-hellish low-sentient beings - those more creature than man - albeit usually with the help of a ritual. He is unable to manipulate a pure-blooded human or anything with a higher sentience and sense of free-will by himself.
Gold Transmutation: With any metal he comes across, Haagenti can touch it and have it turn into pure gold. Many of his followers claim that he has the "Midas Touch" - with some claiming that he had direct influence the legendary Greek King Midas, who too was said to have utilized the same ability.
Alcoholic Transmutation: Haagenti can turn water into wine or other alcoholic beverages and turn them back into water.
Subject Mastery: Under request of the conjurer, Haagenti is able to provide instruction for the individual upon any subject who requests it under a given price. Of course, the more archaic or hazardous the subject is, the heavier the exchange is. He can teach the conjurer only one subject for free per session, which afterwards the conjurer must make the necessary sacrifices in order to learn a new spirit of its desired knowledge.
Personality:
Being within the lower leadership ranks in Hell, Haagenti realizes that sheer brawn and mass alone won't be enough to survive the wrath of the upper demons. As a result, he has adapted to utilize himself as more of an asset to those willing to invest in his services for one's conquest of Hell. Despite his intimidating stature, he speaks in a deep yet calm voice of reason when speaking to his fellow demon clients or conjurers. Yet during his eons of serving under the heels of powerful demon kings, dukes, and princes, Haagenti has grown to be cautious in his dealings. He believes to be a necessary stance to survive in an ever shifting landscape; which is already heightened upon the disappearance of Lucifer himself.
Yet Haagenti's fondness of self-preservation doesn't halt him from engaging in high-risk, high-reward opportunities that can boost his acclaim, services, and/or resolve. Being the betting man, if he believes a certain cause to be extremely beneficial to him, he will allow anything just to reap the rewards. This track goes both ways, either as a means to enhance a mutual or symbiotic relationship, or as a means to cut the competition ever so slightly. However, if the demon believes that his services are being abused or perhaps heading in the direction of his own self-termination, he would not hesitate to pull out of the deal, either abandoning his clients or straight up killing them if he deems them to be too much of a threat.
Allegiance:
Himself; Haagenti offers his services to the highest bidders. Once an ally of Lucifer, his disappearance had provided ample opportunity to make a profit amongst the chaos. While he'll ally to anyone who he deems worthy of reaching the throne, he's very cautious regarding his own safety and power. If his allies are honorable and keep to their word, Haagenti will prove to be a useful asset in one's conquest of Hell. But if Haagenti sense any signs of treachery or weakness within his parters, the demon won't hesitate to take matters into his own hands and eliminate any who he deems unfit to rule, or simply withdraw his services from them last minute, given the circumstances.
Legions:
Haagenti has control of 33 legions of demons - almost all being comprised of animalistic and bestial figures of many different shapes and sizes.
Stalking the Molten Fields of Tartarus, the Abaddon Rex is a gargantuan alpha predator once thought to have been extinct since the end of the Mesotanic Age millions of years ago. Once a member of the surface-dwellers, its bones had since been extracted from the mantle of Earth and reforged within the Lazarus Pits as an attempt to reforge the beasts for war. However, they failed to control the beasts, in which they violently freed themselves and destroyed the research complex before making their way out into the Hellish realm.
Many demons have since tried to tame the Abaddons, whether it be by physical or psychic means, yet each attempt failed horribly. Their immaculate size and strength were far too great and their minds were fortified with a craving for raw, overwhelming violence. Yet the Beastmaster himself would find himself successful in claiming one for his own. Being the first individual to have found an Abaddon egg, he rose and took care of his ravenous pet for eons - eventually coming to utilize him as its personal steed and brutal enforcer.
An ancient race found deep in the hallowed grounds underneath Greece, the Minotaurs are a tribal and barbaric group of warriors who's culture is purely engrained in combat. More animalistic than man, they were an easy race for Haagenti to conquer and reforge them into even stronger warriors - making them a staple in his army. This, along with Haagenti being part bull himself made it even easier for him to instill his leadership amongst them as they looked to him as if he was their god.
@Dead Cruiser Right, so here's my WIP for Gusion. Took some inspiration from Supernatural for the telekinesis.
Titles:Grand Duke | Reconciler
Appearance: Standing over nine feet tall, and clad in voluminous dirt-stained robes with a dog-like head whose eyes burn with an ancient flame, Gusion's true form is a horrific blend of man and beast. A lanky thing reeking of chaos, sulfur, and rotting meat who paradoxically advocates for the stagnant monotony of logic and reason above all else.
In other words, a walking contradiction of the body and mind, like many of his kind.
Powers
Divination Like many demons, Gusion is capable of looking into the past or the future, in addition to distant places. Being able to, quote, "Tell all past, present and future things, showing the meaning of all questions that are asked of him." When he does so, either of his own volition or on the command of a summoner, his eyes emit a luminous golden glow. One that is reminiscent of the glory he once possessed whilst walking Heaven's gilded halls.
Reconciliation: Gusion can cause rivals and those who hate each other to reconcile by placing them into a temporary state of emotionlessness, thus bringing them both honor and dignity by ending their foolish reliance on instincts over thought. This was an ability that the Morningstar used to great effect while he still sat on the throne, by having Gusion and other demons with this trait police Hell, keeping hordes of lesser demons in check. Granted this power, for all its might, is not foolproof. It does not work on other Dukes, Marquis, Kings, etc. Or any of his unfallen brethren. As a matter of fact this power seems to be of use solely on lesser beings such as the demons who comprise the legions of Hell, or the fleshy humans that swarm across the surface of the Earth.
While in Hell, Gusion still has access to a great deal of the telekinetic power he once possessed as a member of the heavenly host, although it is greatly limited by the nature of his fallen brethren. Specifically the fact that they are spirits. Without organs or bones of any kind, unless they wish it of course, more concentrated and devastating forms of damage are pretty much impossible to inflict. This limits what he can do with his telekinetic powers while in Hell to offensive and defensive uses such as grabbing, pulling, lifting, knocking down a target from a distance, making them glide along the floor as they stand (usually towards himself so they can be physically attacked or restrained), pinning targets to walls and leaving them suspended or sending them flying through the air with great force.
Advanced Telekinesis
Should Gusion ever set foot on Earth, provided he is not bound to the will of a summoner, he could theoretically exert more extreme and precise amounts of force on targets that cannot normally be perceived (such as organs) and could even defy extreme forces already exerted on a target (such as the force propelling a bullet). Gusion might be able to generate more force that which he exerts while in Hell as well, simply because he is faced with material beings rather than immaterial ones. The exact amount depends, but it could be enough to suspend the movements of human targets, immobilizing them, or even controlling their motor skills to a certain extent. He may also be capable of torturing mortal targets by inflicting severe internal damage, usually by crushing organs or breaking bones. He could even possess the ability to target specific parts of the body, such as the spine, which would let him restrict the air and blood flow of a victim, or even break their neck.
Personality: Gusion is, strangely, a strong proponent of order and stability, though not in the same way most beings imagine it. Where most would strive to find a healthy balance between order and chaos, Gusion would find only order. Only the overbearing stagnancy of routine. It is this worldview, this unyielding desire for a cosmos in which everything has its proper place in the vast machine that is existence, that drives him in his rebellion. It is also this unfeeling way of existing that has the greatest influence on his interactions with his fallen brethren. When it comes to his dealings with other demons, he is respectful of most, unless they should try to destabilize the leadership of hell or support chaos in general. Then he will view them with the utmost disdain, even if he does not outwardly show it. In regards to his views on humanity, Gusion sees them as naught more than writhing maggots, a destructive plague upon creation, and a waste of essence in general. While there was a time when he thought they could be so much more as a species, he has since given up that hope. Their self-destructive actions and ceaseless infighting over the thousands of years they've been alive has cemented the need for their species total annihilation firmly within his mind.
Allegiance: The Morningstar. While his loyalties ultimately lie with the force of order, Gusion recognizes the fact that Lucifer was the only being in existence to actually bring chaos to heel. At least before his sudden disappearance anyway. His leadership, while cruel and downright tyrannical, was effective. And at the end of the day, no matter the scheme or demon behind it, all were subservient to his will and his will alone.
Where exactly does the cyberpunk come into play though?
I personally assume on Earth. Like a UAC type situation, only with us as the aggressive force and minus any Doom Slayers. Unless there's like, hell tech or something.

From the sound of things it seems like the story revolves more about a power struggle in hell, not so much earth. Though I can of course be mistaken.

True, most of it probably will be in hell, though this bit here does not rule out the possibility of going to Earth for some extended period of time.
In this roleplay, you will play as one of the 72 demons named in the Lesser Key of Solomon (for reasons I will explain later), who is left to their own devices in the anarchy following the inexplicable disappearance of Satan from his throne in Hell. Most of your fellow demons have reacted to his absence by instigating a power struggle the likes of which unseen since the original War in Heaven. It is up to you to either quell this anarchy until the rightful Prince of Hell's return, seek him out to solve the mystery of his disappearance, or attempt to seize the throne for yourself. Complicating the matter is the current state of Earth, which in a too-near future is on the brink of ecological and societal collapse; ripe pickings for a demon powerful enough to take control of mankind for their own ends.
Choosing a demon SITRI: (also spelled Bitru, Sytry) Great King of Jinnestan, and reigns over sixty legions of demons. He causes men to love women and vice versa, and makes them to show themselves naked if it is desired.
That’s ahh, that power is surely gonna come in handy when taking over hell.
Enemy gloating: “The claws of your demons will never penetrate the armour of my knig... huh... wait! Whats going on? Why are you all getting naked, stop that! Put your armour back on!”
I've roughly finished filling out Haagenti's temp profile. I may add more units or characters provided that I can think up of anything else, but he's otherwise "done".
@Cleverbird This will be covered when the OOC goes up, but Earth is basically a cyberpunk hellscape right now. Human souls and worship are a very potent source of power, both metaphysical and in terms of manpower, to an aspiring conqueror of Hell, so there's a sort of shadow war being fought on Earth as a literal war rages in Hell.
I'll try and put up the OOC sometime this weekend, have some classwork to catch up on in the meantime. I encourage those of you still kicking around to start on character sheets so we can get rolling pretty quickly from there.
