We'll need to think of limitations if we're going with time. Maybe come up with something that makes M=D hard to achieve, such as personality, personal pride or even being a villain that our heroines must constantly prevent from being a M=D.
We can hash over PMs, if you like. I have a preset power-balance and a backstory, since this is a rehash of a pre-existing character. Should be simple enough to work into your power structure.
Anyone want to hash out some prior relation and history?
If this is high school, these would be school mates, friends, some other kids he met around the neighborhood, the strange fateful encounter before the trouble starts for the dragonkey.
Well, I was thinking Miki could be Hiroki's childhood friend. They often hang out together, although they probably don't think of each other as romantic interests just yet.
"Stand before the stage and gaze upon the soul of the world" Name: Rose Valentine (Rosé Phantasia) Gender: Female Age: 17 Role: MAGILOCK Contracted to:
The Arcane staff CHORUS is a golden rod with a simple crystal orb swirling with every changing mist, sometimes seeming to look like a face.
When upgraded to a DRAGOKEY form, the staff's crest changes, appearing with the visage of several wings encircled around multiple faces, each depicting a different emotion and can shift seemingly on their own whim.
Abilities: Rosé Phantasia is less oriented around dealing damage and more focused on manipulating and controlling the battlefield by supporting her allies and disrupting her enemies through illusions and mind altering abilities
MAGILOCK=DRAGOKEY Abilities: While enhanced through a DRAGOKEY Rosé Phantasia becomes Rosé Phantasmagoria, able to function far more effectively alone. She is now capable of manipulating her imagination and the imagination of others and imbuing them with some semblance of reality. Furthermore, she is able to solidify psychic energy into physical form allowing her to unleash powerful and destructive blasts. However she still is ineffective at close range.
History: Rose was always interested in theater. Growing up she was more excited by the prospects of seeing a lack luster community theater instead of a high thrill oriented theme park. So naturally, she sought to pursue that feeling. She grew up reading Shakespeare and playing make believe. It turned a lot of people off, calling her weird. She didn't have any friends growing up, which did hurt her feelings, but it fueled her to write and perform her first drama: A one act performance that was far too adult for a middle schooler, particularly for the year she was performing it in. She got suspended.
By the time she was in her last year of highschool, her life was about to change forever. After returning to the drama club after being suspended for the third time for inappropriate actions on stage (and now being banned from performing for her school) Rose found what she believed to be a well crafted and immaculate prop. Something she soon discovered was the ARMARUNE, CHORUS. And now, she was prepared for a great stage she never thought she would have experienced before.
Personality: Rose has a penchant for the fantastical and a flair for the dramatic. She has performed, directed, and written several plays for the drama club since middle school (occasionally while being the sole member). She is passionate and verbose to the point of being obnoxiously loquacious. She can come off as condescending and arrogant for no reason other than trying to utilize her lexicon. However, she does mean well, but finds herself alone, likely due to the intensity of eccentricities.
In her MAGILOCK form, Rose wears a white dress draped in a royal blue cloak. She actually enjoys the outfit, as it fits a variety of roles in theater, being appropriate for a narrator-like role as a seer or the ilk.
(Except with Red eyes and glasses) While the overall design of her outfit remains the same, her hat gains a similarly ever-changing face. Her hair also grows longer, and her face slightly more feminine, She grows a few inches taller, but her physical form doesn't change much ultimately
