Emily watched as her ivysaur kept up with his behavior. She paused for a time when she saw the baby grime wrap around her ivysaurs' vine like that. She started to frown and step forward. But, she ended up stopping in her tracks.

"Ivy....saur....?"
Her ivysaur actually sounded concerned. To her it sounded that way anyway. She wondered what her pokemon was up to.

Ivysaur tried to pull the baby grimer in closer, and out of that hole, and gently.

“Maybe you could trade one of your adopted Pokémon at the Pokémon Center.” Faye said to Sarah as Aura set the bag and opens the bag to let the baby Grimer out. Aura hears snoring and careful carries the baby Grimer out of the trash without desturb him from his sleep.

Sarah took a breath.
"I doubt that would help. The only way one of those trade machines' works is when trainers swap EACH OTHERS pokemon. The pokemon in their pokeballs that is. These only just hatched and have no trainers yet. And i would never give up my own team, especially not gengar. He has been with me since he was a young ghastly. I could never do that to him."

She tried to think of an idea.
"Too bad that festival may be over by now. I had a stand there where baby pokemon and eggs were adopted out. I had to rush away from it and leave someone in charge during the chaos, and i am sure you know what i am talking about."

She shrugged.
"I am not actually sure if the festival is over by now or not."

Faye did not want to give up her Pokémon either but she could see if the festival is still open to get the two baby Grimers adopted. Faye pulls out her phone and calls a friend at the Pokémon center, she is thinking she needs a bath before returning to the festival. She knows she smell like she been searching for something or a Pokémon in the garbage.

The female Grimer kept holding on as the Ivysaur pulled her out of the hole. She cried viscous acidic tears on the ground and the grass type's vines. The baby looked a bit interested in the trash on the ground nearby, but not enough to let go of Ivysaur.

Sarah watched as Faye made a phone call. She sighed a bit. She glanced at the sleeping male grimer.

"Hopefully we can find them a home. I do not feel too happy at the mere thought of pokemon being rejected and such."

She spoke her true thoughts out loud. She waited for Faye to finish her phone call after that.

Emily blinked. She continued to watch what was going on with her ivysaur and the baby grimer.

Ivysaur blinked. But, he continued to gently guide the little pokemon out of there until she was in full view. The male pokemon noticed where she was looking and so did Emily. Ivysaur looked at Emily. Emily nodded.

Ivysaur guided the little pokemon to the trash. Then, he was speaking in pokemon language, as if trying to reassure and comfort the baby grimer, and to explain who Emily really was.

Emily sighed, feeling helpless.

Faye finish her phone call and puts her phone away. “The festival is still open, there is still a chance the baby Grimers a home. I let the other baby eat before we go back to the town.” Faye said to Sarah as she and Aura walks back to her truck, Eski the Ninetailes sniffs her trainer and covers her nose with her tails. Faye hopes the ride will not stress out the baby Grimers.

Sarah nodded.
"Yeah, she will need a bit of time to calm down."

Sarah looked at the baby grimer and the ivysaur. She hoped the little baby pokemon would be alright. She also hoped they could find her, and the male, a home.

The female Grimer reached down to pick up the wadded up candy wrapper and nibbled on it, all while keeping a hold on Ivysaur's vine. She would continue to eat any trash offered to her as long as she could keep one slimy arm on Ivysaur. The baby was firmly attached by this point.

"Hi," she burbled. The baby's vocabulary was limited and would be for a while. "Hi. Hi."

Ivysaur blinked and sighed. He had been afraid of this. The baby was getting attached. He could only hope they could find her a family if they waited until she got bigger. He looked at his trainer.

Emily frowned. She knew that look. She sighed.
"Well....this is a fine situation."
She spoke her thought out loud. She had some news for the others.

“You could keep thr baby Grimer,” Faye said to Emily as she notices the baby Grimer is attach to Emily’s Ivysaur. That was only a idea, she looks at the sleeping baby Grimer in Aura’s arms. She could adopted the baby male Grimer nut have second thoughts about it’s the baby Grimer could be too michivous at her home.

Emily blinked. She looked at Faye.
"Um....."
She was hesitant.
"I already have six pokemon with me. Wouldn't that mean one would have to stay with a professor or such, if i did choose to adopt her?"
She frowned.

Sarah sighed. She looked at Faye.
"What do you think?"
She glanced at the male baby grimer for a moment. Sarah was not sure what to do herself.

“That is true but you can always can switch out Pokémon when the baby Grimer gets bigger. Think of it as a Pokémon day center. You may miss them but you will always come back for them..” Faye said to Emily as she glance at Sarah, “we see what happens at the festival.” Faye said as she and Aura got into the truck as Faye is not sure if Sarah needs a ride back to town.

Emily still looked hesitant. She took a deep breath. She looked away.
"...if you say so."
She soon had her eyes on the ground.

Ivysaur blinked and looked at her.
"...ivysaur?"
He looked worried about her.

Sarah blinked. She sighed.
"I know how she is feeling. I feel like my pokemon would hate me if they didn't get to travel around with me, if i left them alone with a stranger. I've had them with me for so long, i can't imagine leaving them with someone else. But, if i had no other choice, i probably would have to do so."

“I know the feeling it is hard to let go, it up to Emily and the Pokémon if they want to be together. Faye said to Sarah as she years up and Aura looks at her trainer. She had to let go of her Beautifly as he fell in love with z wild Butterfree.

Emily froze. She looked towards Faye.
"I....have a butterfree. You...well....you know what that means."
She looked down with a saddened look on her face. Emily pulled out the pokeball that held her butterfree. She looked like she was going to shed a tear.

Sarah frowned. She glanced at Emily as she did so.
"Yeah, but i doubt you will have to for a while."
She looked at Faye.
"She may have room, if the time comes where she will have to release her butterfree into the wild. She will have trouble parting with her though. She has had butterfree since she was a caterpie."

Faye guess Emily’s Butterfree met her Beautifly. “I think it is time,” Faye said as she notices her Beautifly is collecting pollen from moon flowers. Faye smiles softly as she rembers the memories of her Beautifly.

Emily gasped. Her eyes went wide. She took a step back, speechless at first.
"Wh....what?!"
She was rather loud by accident. She was soon holding her butterfrees' pokeball in her hands. She was clutching tightly. It looked like she did not want to let her go. She started to tear up.

Sarah saw that. She frowned. She felt sympathy for her. She sighed and turned towards Faye.
"I....do not think she wants to let her butterfree go, or rather, she is hesitant to do so, even if it is the right thing to do."
She said that with a concerned tone.

Sarah nodded. She looked at Emily.
"Well....she has to decide for herself. I am not her mother nor guardian. I am simply a friend, and an employer. As far as a suggestion goes, she should just do what she feels is the right thing to do. She knows her pokemon better than anyone else."
She looked back at Faye.
"We will have to wait and see."

Emily heard everything. She froze. She glanced down at the pokeball in her hands. She, then, looked at her female butterfree who had gotten out of her pokeball. She sighed.
"Butterfree?"

Her butterfree looked at her. She flew over and gave a confused look.

Emily took a deep breath.
"I am going to miss you so much. Just remember....I will always love you. Be careful out there and....and...."

She quickly calmed herself.
"You come back and visit, you hear me? I do not want to have to worry sick about you all the time!"

And with that, she set butterfree free. She cut the connection between the pokemon and the pokeball. She teared up, and so did butterfree, who gave her one last little sign of affection before flying off to the fence-line. She was waiting for a certain other pokemon.
