City Streets
Thalia was just sort of keeping a bit of an eye out. Currently, she wasn't seeing anything that might potentially be useful, but then again, that didn't necessarily mean anything at all. There could be just about anything that could make things worse in general. There could be things hiding that she might not necessarily be able to see, and considering the fact that she was trying to limit her flying a bit so she didn't draw attention didn't help at all.

The group that Ed and Guin were spying on seemed to just sort of be chatting, though the obvious thing was that they weren't really moving from the area that they were in. A few did start wandering away a bit and the total in the area was now down to 5, so at least if something bad were to say happen, they wouldn't be too outnumbered right? Well, after a few moments, the group seemed to suddenly get quiet, one of them was hushing the others, as if trying to listen for something or someone.

"What exactly are we listening for?" one of them said, before get hushed by the others.

"I heard voices nearby..." another one whispered, as they were listening, and a few of them started heading directly towards where Ed and Guin were. Thalia was still up above and noticed what seemed to be going on, and just sort of jumped buildings, and was keeping an eye on the situation now, in order to potentially aid them if needed.

Meanwhile over with Cass and Jade, nothing seems to be going on too much. As Jade mentioned, this area doesn't seem to have too many people around, so if they wanted to try and move in closer and more into the area there wasn't anyone stopping them. The few people who were around, didn't seem to even notice the pair at all, so they seemed to have more or less free reign to wander in closer if they wanted to.

City Hall
Lance was flipping through a few different filing cabinets in order to try and find something. Though when that did really work out, he started looking through a few of the boxes of stuff on the floor. "Nothing so far, aside from some of the cabinets have holes and there looks to be some water damage on some of the papers and all in them. Reminder to be somewhat careful, because who knows how solid the papers we are messing with actually are."

"Yeah yeah yeah, I know I know, honestly," Pietro responded with a bit of an eye roll. He instantly started zipping around, seemingly sort of ignoring the whole "be careful" thing that Lance had said, opening up drawers and papers were sort of flying just about everywhere as he ran around the area.

"Do you ever listen?" Lance muttered, before stopping for a moment, listening. He could have sworn that he heard footsteps upstairs, but it was really hard to tell with Pietro racing around without much of a care in the world. "Mind stopping for a second?" Lance asked Pietro.

The speedster stopped for a moment, "What?" he asked, looking through a cabinet, but not at super speed anymore.

"I thought I heard something, but I might have imagined it... We are kind of in a creepy abandoned building after all..."

"Eh, maybe."

And people thought he had an ego. He thought. Guin confirmed that none of the people were anyone of status, or at least not long-term status with Magneto. He wouldn't put it past Magneto from having some new guys that had earned it in positions of power. It was possible they were people who had kept it on the down-low up till now. How many people did he have with him in total though? How many mutants had been in New York and stayed there afterward?

He frowned as he heard the group talking about hearing talking. He kept in the curse and waved for Guin to start following him away from Magneto's men. He did not want to get into a fight. He wondered who the heck they had heard talking. He hadn't said anything within earshot and Guin was whispering. That dude must have had super hearing, which meant they had to be extra quiet.

Carolina Reed

Carolina listened to Pietro and Lance as they continued to search around the floor Pietro was being pretty loud as she shined her light over towards the two of them. "Can you two be quiet and stop bickering like two year olds?" Carolina asked them letting out a slight sigh as she took a moment and could hear some movement on the floor above them. "I'm going to go and check it out." Carolina said as she went to sit down on the musty ground and closed her eyes as she astral projected herself out of her body.

Carolina then moved herself up to the second floor phasing through the ground when she was there Carolina noticed there was a group of Magneto's men exploring the area. Carolina quickly then moved back to her body and stood up making her way over towards Lance and Pietro looking at the two of them. "Magneto's people are here." Carolina whispered to the two of them, before she was able to find the plans nearby, though they looked pretty fragile and faded. "Found them and these, they should help." Carolina said gesturing to the map she found

Cassandra looked at Jade for a moment and nodded slightly, though she didnt really like it either the area was an actual trap or Magneto really didnt plan on having to many people here. "It could be a potential trap or something that Magneto and his men could have set up." Cass said as she looked around there wasnt anything that was out of the ordinary at least to her anyway that is.

"Just stay alert." Cassandra said softly as she started to move forward a little bit closer sticking to as much cover as possible. Cass hoped that all of the others were doing alright and werent in trouble or anything like that as well as Carolina, Lance and Pietro to they did need to get those plans.

"I'm always alert," Jade pointed out to Cassandra quietly. To Jade, it was the rest of the world who needed to pay more attention to things. She had always been gifted, able to notice things that others didn't. OMEN had even classified her observation as a minor deviance, a subtle superhuman ability. But Jade didn't think to think of it as some power - as if it had been something handed to her. Her mind was her own. It wasn't her fault no one else was using theirs properly.

Like others, Jade was pretty stealthy when she needed to be. She used to work as a homicide detective, which often meant poking her head around where people didn't want her to be - she had had a similar set of experiences as a private investigator, also poking around where people didn't want her to be, but without a warrant or anything to back her up. At least she hadn't been a cop then. She couldn't say as much now, working as a glorified supernatural cop for OMEN. She snuck forward softly and carefully, scouting out this area more.

Guin cursed internally as Magneto's C list goons started heading their direction. She didn't doubt that these were the losers Magneto was leaving in the most vulnerable/boring position, but she also didn't feel like getting murdered by them. Fortunately, her job before all of this had been to be an agent, and she had been trained by the world's best... former best... assassin - Black Widow, the Super Spy Femme Fatale. Guin snuck quietly off, moving away stealthily with ease, as if she had been doing this her entire life. She trusted that Edus would similarly be able to move without attracting too much attention to himself.

Maybe he could summon up an invisibility cloak or something with his magic - or muffle the sound of his footsteps. She figured he also might benefit from crouching slightly, as he was quite tall. And hopefully none of the Nobody Brotherhood turned out to be telepaths, as Guin figured her thoughts were probably rather loud at the moment, like a flashing neon sign going HEY OVER HERE!. Thinking about that didn't make her thoughts less noisy however.

City Streets
Over by Guin and Ed, the pair would hear footsteps heading over, and eventually they'd see a few people from the group walking into view in the area that they had just left. One of them was looking around, and one clearly seemed to be listening intently on something. "I think it was just your imagination, there is no one here and nothing seems to be going on." one of them said, looking at the others.

"I'm telling you, I head something around here somewhere!"

"Well maybe you need to get your ears checked, since there is clearly no one here!"

"Are you calling me a liar?"

"Maybe?" After those words, they'd see one of the guys tackle the other, and eventually they seemed to be taking their bit of a brawl out of the area. The coast seemed to be clear at the moment, and maybe the fighting between the group members would distract people and allow them to go on unnoticed.

As for Jade and Cass, they'd eventually see a small group of about 3 or 4 people who seemed to be talking about something. As they walked closer, they would be able to hear them at the least. "So, apparently the humans are planning something stupid. You'd think they'd learn."

"I mean, they don't even seem to notice if someone slips in and out of a place unnoticed. I guess having shapeshifters around helps with being able to eavesdrop and get a few spies out of the city. Whose going to notice a bird or something sitting on the ground or whatever?"

"What exactly are they trying to do?"

"Nuke the city. Which is the dumbest thing, since all it takes is one person with telekinesis to blow them up instead."

"No one really said they were smart."

The group were not too far from them, but they'd learn one thing, and that was that Magneto's goons were completely prepared for them launching a nuke at them. Which also meant that they likely were going to easily be able to send it right back, likely starting the potential end of the world.

City Hall
"He's the one who won't shut up... And I'm the one who initially heard something," Lance muttered right before Carolina used her powers to see what it was that was going on upstairs. He was still somewhat annoyed with Pietro, and figured it was best to sort of just ignore his entire existence while looking around a bit more. Pietro was still sort of looking around when Carolina got back and all.

Listening to what was going on upstairs, and hearing that Carolina had found what they were looking for, Pietro nodded his head, "Well, then let's get the hell out of here," he said with a smile, however outside the door, they'd see light coming closer, as it looked like the goons from upstairs had decided to head down. Pietro would prefer for them to not get caught or even really seen, so he'd prefer for them to not notice that they were in the building.

"Kill the lights," Lance whispered to the other two, referring to their flashlights, as Lance caused the ball of light in his hand to disappear before he hid behind a cabinet. Pietro wasn't going to be able to get them out of there without likely running into someone, and that wasn't going to be a good thing if they didn't want people to know that they had been in the building. Instantly turning off his own flashlight, Pietro managed to find a hiding spot for himself, and the footsteps were getting a lot closer. As in the next few moments someone likely was going to be right outside of their door.

"Like seriously the two of you are acting like a married couple." Carolina said slightly annoyed and rolling her eyes slightly at the two of them. She then paused for a moment as she could hear the footsteps getting closer and heard the door opening to the basement floor she quickly nodded towards Lance and Quicksilver as she started to turn off her flash light.

She started to look around for a place to hide, just as she was about to go for it however she felt a light shining on her and turned just in time to see one of Magneto's men staring right at her and suddenly threw a filing cabinet towards her. She was glad that it didnt hit her as it missed and started to look around, this wasnt really a good thing at all. Carolina started to think of just handing the building and area plans to either Lance or Pietro so that they can give it to the others

Cassandra looked towards Jade and nodded slightly towards her, if the woman wasnt superficial all the time then maybe they'd all get along with her. She then paused for a moment as Cassandra was able to spot some of Magneto's people out on patrol. She took a moment to try and get a look at them but sadly she couldnt recognize any of them at all.

Cass then quickly made a run towards the nearest car and hid right behind it. Taking the moment she started to listen in on the conversation which wasnt good at all by the sounds of it they had some people on the outside listening in on their plans and that they were planning on nuking the entire city. Magneto's men would be on alert as well to which wasnt good either which made their job harder.

Ed waited for a few beats for the sounds of fighting to fade a little. He let out a small sigh of relief. "That was a little too close." He whispered. "I don't know if we'll learn more from these guys, lets's see if we can find a way around them."

Ed left the area where they had been hidden and quietly made his way around and found an alley that seemed empty. He approached the end of the alley cautiously. Ready to duck back in if needed. He trusted that Guin would follow. He also had to trust that she'd be quiet. If they got caught it'd be a serious issue.

It wasn't long before they spotted a group of about three or four (even Jade's heightened powers of observation couldn't tell her whether or not that additional fourth person was really there, strangely enough). She found the conversation the group was having about eavesdropping to be rather funny, given that she and Cassandra were eavesdropping in turn. She wasn't surprised to find out that the government's plans had been leaked - the government was rather thick in her opinion. She also wasn't shocked to hear the rather simplistic and obvious plan Magneto's forces had of simply throwing the nukes right back. She did doubt that just any mutant would be capable of throwing back a nuke, but certainly Magneto himself and other heavy hitters could do it.

The individuals they were watching were, as best as she could tell, mid-tier goons. They weren't anything special or noteworthy, but at least seemed to have some intel. She was honestly more curious as to whether or not Magneto's team new a small group had snuck into the city, one of them clad in a gas-mask (which was uncomfortable at this point) in order to avoid breathing in the deadly air. She glanced at Cass, crouched behind the car with her, and Jade shrugged her shoulders - a silent way to communicate "expected", to reassure Cass that the government's plan being spoiled was not a huge loss or surprise.

Guin had technically been a secret agent at one point - despite the fact that she had been sent to more or less stare at the X-Men, a team who probably did need assistance from someone - just someone better than her and Cassandra. The self deprecation stung slightly. If someone more experienced had been sent to assist the X-Men, maybe her family would still be alive - maybe most of New York City would still be there with them, strolling idly down Fifth Avenue without realizing what they had come so close to losing. She would have killed to be a part of that alternate reality, that place in the Multiverse where everything had turned out okay.

All of this was an aside to say - Guin didn't have a 'stealth' skill, but she wasn't too bad at moving silently and unnoticed. She wasn't going to win 'sneakiest mutant' or anything, but she didn't do too bad either. She managed to keep up with Edus and stay near to him, avoiding the critical error of splitting the party... which, she then realized, they had already technically done - oh well.

City Streets
Guin and Ed would be able to sneak down the alleyway, eventually reaching another sort of street that was inching closer to where the main building that Magneto was holed up in was. The coast seemed clear, for a moment anyway, however, that break didn't last. It was obvious that this part of the area was a bit more guarded by Magneto's group, and that got made even more apparent, when a trash can was thrown down the street, clearly out of anger, and a very familiar sort of growling sound seemed to occur. Sabretooth ended up walking into view, still not too thrilled by what had happened earlier when he got ejected from the fighting that occurred like he was in a looney toons cartoon or something like that. They both would be able to easily duck into the alley again before he came into view fully, or they could try to bolt to the alley on the other side of the street to keep going before he might see them, since he seems to be a bit distracted by his own annoyance and anger currently.

Cass and Jade, meanwhile, would continue to hear just about everything that was going on from the group in front of them. Who clearly were supposed to be patrolling or keeping an eye on things, but seemed to be pretty bad at their jobs with that and were more caught up in their conversation.

"You know what else? I heard that the humans might have snuck a few people into the city."

"Right, do you really think that? I doubt that."

"No I'm serious! Fatale, Reaper and Abyss haven't come back from their run into the rest of the city!"

"Maybe they ran into what's left of the X-Men group?" one scoffed, clearly not believing this sort of thing.

"No! They were fighting a different group blocks away! Not to mention pissing off Sabretooth for the hundredth time."

"Sabretooth is always mad about something, reason why most people avoid him."

"I'm telling you, I think others snuck into the city!"

"Well what does Magneto think?"

"I don't know, odds are he probably knows those three haven't come back yet... But you can't tell what's completely going through his head, especially when he's still holed up in that building. What is he waiting for anyway? I thought the idea was to eventually see about getting rid of all the humans."

"I mean, we can essentially accomplish that if the humans go through with nuking the city."

"They are all trigger happy, I think the odds are lower that they won't try to nuke the city. But I still doubt they'd be dumb enough to send people in knowing that they were nuking the city. We only have to worry about the remains of the X-Men, so stop worrying about it!"

City Hall
Well, this was most definitely not a good situation to be in. Pietro seemed to be thinking about the best way to deal with this situation. And currently, he only had one potential solution. Yes, he could probably try and race everyone out of the area, but they also would likely try and figure out what they had come here for. Not to mention the two people he was with (Carolina and Lance) weren't exactly fighters, they weren't meant to really do this sort of thing, for the moment anyway. Lance maybe could, but he tended to create shields or hide everything rather then damage if he couldn't help it. Pietro instantly sped around, and Carolina would find herself in a the area by where Lance was now, still holding the plans and everything. The guy by the door was now incredibly confused.

"I'll see about keeping them away from you, both of you try to get out," he said, before zipping off and literally tackling the guy who had been in the door way to the ground.

Lance was seriously not too sure about this, since Pietro could probably get them out of there if all hell broke loose. However, the group already knew that they were there, so the question was, how were things supposed to go in general for them? Nothing was going to end well at this point, since he didn't know how many people were out of the room waiting for them, or in the area above them. Taking a deep breath, he started using his powers, bending the light around them, and eventually Carolina and Lance would effectively turn invisible to everyone aside from each other at this point.

"Come on, let's try to get out of here..." he whispered to her slightly, before starting to quietly head towards the exit of the room.

Carolina felt Pietro grabbing her and he suddenly dragged her over to where Lance was still holding the two maps that she had on her, looking at him. "Thank you." Carolina said to Pietro as she looked over to where she had just been moments before seeing the guy who had attacked her was confused. She kind of wished that she had some sort of combative power and she could help out somehow as Pietro dashed off to go and tend to their guests. "Stay safe, and get the hell out of there." Carolina told him, as Lance used his powers to make the two of them invisible.

Carolina quietly started to make her way out of the room and up the stairs, she looked over her shoulder in time to see Quicksilver getting surrounded by four of Magneto's men. She turned back to Lance with a worried look she didnt want to abandon Pietro to fend for himself or anything like that. "We have to help him or something." Carolina told him, she wasnt sure how many more were there or between where they were currently and their little hideout.

Cassandra looked over at Jade and nodded slightly, but still it did make their job harder that they didnt have the element of surprise Cass remained pretty still for the most part as she looked just slightly over the edge listening in on their conversation. She looked over at Jade as she listened in on their conversation wondering just who the group that they had encountered when entering the city. Though it seemed that they didn't believe the guy that it was Thalia, Jade and Ed entering the city and thought that it was just the X-Men.

At least these guys hadn't noticed them yet which was a good thing then, and she hoped that they'd turn their backs away from them and move on. Hopefully they could find a way so that they could sneak into the building easily or some other enterance that Magneto's men weren't paying attention. The sooner they find out the better and they could head back to the hideout and plan from there once Lance, Carolina and Pietro come back with the blueprints.

As they progressed Ed's mind was tumbling over what they were seeing. He had never been to New York before this event. So the city was new to him. Fortunately, it, for the most part, is on a perfect grid. As they came up through an alley he heard something and slowed down even more, taking a look down the street to see the cause of the disturbance. It was Sabretooth. For the first time, it was someone recognizable. What was he doing throwing a tantrum?

He waved his hand to Guin and quickly crossed the street to the next alley. Then delved deeper into the shadows trying to get away from the street. He ducked behind a trash bin and let out a quiet sigh of relief. He'd wait here for Sabretooth to pass. He did not want him to see movement out of the corner of his eye. Even if he looked rather distracted. And hopefully, Sabretooth's unnatural sense of smell wouldn't pick up on Guin and him.

Jade raised an eyebrow, listening into this conversation. It felt like someone was reading off the script for a YouTube video mocking Magneto's forces. These people were almost comical to her. They were listing everything but at the same time just bickering like school children. She couldn't even tell if the emotions in their voice were real or not. It was frustratingly hard to pick up much more on them via deduction, as they just weren't giving her anything. At least, she knew that the information leak was pretty much more or less still as expected. It was hard to be totally secure when there were a million telepaths around - the only way to safely store information with telepaths was to give it to people the telepaths would never bother to psychically frisk.

She looked around the area though, trying to focus on finding a path forward. She had a feeling they were getting pretty much everything they would from these random goons - it felt like they were about to devolve into some sort of pointless argument about things. Besides, they wanted to scout a path to Magneto's base for the assault later and they still hadn't managed to fully do that.

Guin winced slightly, as they came (well, almost) face to face with Sabretooth. He was arguably the worst of the worst left in New York City - not only a mutant supremacist, but a rapist and a murderer as well. He was irredeemable in every sense of the word. As of such, the hairs on the back of Guin's neck stood up slightly and she darted across the street to the next alley with Edus, praying to whoever was out there (Asgard, maybe?) that Sabretooth hadn't picked up their scent. There wasn't much she could do against him - a fight with Sabretooth for her was just a race against the clock, an attempt to stay alive until someone with a better power could do something. And she had no idea how her new squishy wizard friend would do.

At least the wizard had the good sense to hide behind a trash can - hopefully the scent of the garbage would keep them from being seen, er, smelled. Guin crouched down back there with Edus, making herself small. It helped that she had lost a fair bit of weight and was naturally rather petite, barely 5'3" tall. "If he catches us, we have to split up," Guin whispered to Edus. "I'll get him to follow me and you go on." Even if she didn't know what his powers were exactly capable of, his powers had more uses than hers did. And maybe she'd get lucky and manage to body hop as Sabretooth killed her, taking him down with her.

City Streets
For Ed and Guin, it would appear that their string of bad luck was just going to continue, considering the fact that Sabretooth stopped in his place, seemingly sniffing the air for a few moments. It was fairly quiet for a moment, before the sound of Sabretooth grumbling filled the air, as he got closer and closer to where they were, before eventually, they'd see his shadow tower over them, and he let out a loud roar, having spotted them. A trashcan immediately is thrown towards them, however it it's a wall, but it doesn't take long for Sabretooth to jump back up and go attack them.

Letting out another roar, Sabretooth grabs Guin and throws her against the wall of a building, hard enough to cause some pretty bad bruising along her back, as well as a few cuts along her arms from where his claws dug in when he threw her. His attention turned to Ed, and he slashed at him with his claws, managing to slash him across the chest, causing some deep cuts that were starting to bleed.

Where Guin and Ed can't seem to catch a break, Jade and Cass seem to not have too much difficulties with anything! Good luck is always a nice thing, maybe they stole all of the luck from Guin and Ed? Well, the group of random goons walked by with no issues, not even noticing the pair of them. Jade and Cass would be able to continue along after the group was out of sight. Eventually, after a while, they'll reach their goal, finding a pathway to Magneto's building from their side of everything. The building was fairly large, and looked like Magneto had created barriers of sorts out of metal, and a wall blocked the view of the front entrance. There looked to be a gateway at the front end of it that served as an entrance of sorts into the inner yard and to the building itself. Though that gate did seem guarded, as there were more then a few people by it.

City Hall
"I know that..." Lance grumbled, trying to think of what best to do. The problem was, neither he, nor Carolina were much in the way of fighters, whereas Pietro more or less was. He knew that his powers could be used in an offensive way, however he wasn't the best at doing that. He could heal people, not very much attack them well anyway. Maybe he could blind members of the group to allow Pietro to run them all out of the place. They had been spotted, so they just had to do this sort of thing and fight now. "...I'm open to any sort of suggestions, because I could try to blind them, not too sure how well that'll work though..."

What was going on with Pietro and the four goons surrounding him, well things seemed to not be going so great considering he was clearly outnumbered. Pietro instantly went and slammed his foot into one of the guys, but he wasn't paying attention enough to notice another who grabbed him from behind and there was a loud crack. Turns out that goon had super strength for a power, and that cracking sound was the sound of Pietro's arms both snapping. He managed to headbutt the guy and zip back so he wasn't being surrounded by them anymore, but his arms were hanging at a few strange angles. With a painful snap, Pietro managed to snap his right arm into place again, but that looked somewhat painful to do.

"...Alright, well, just warning, we might have to drop the invisibility in order to help him properly since not sure I can keep it up for long and attack..." Lance added, before he held a ball of light in his hand before sending it flying directly in the face of the goon who had broken Pietro's arms, blinding the guy as he stumbled backwards. One of the group immediately looked in their direction, but still wasn't able to see them.

Guin was being sweet, but there was no way Ed would abandon her. And it wouldn't have been in the cards anyway. Sabretooth was focusing on him, which he was fine with. This fight couldn't last long. They needed it to be over and done with as quickly as possible. That meant one thing. Going for a kill. Something Ed wouldn't have done prior to this whole situation. His sister's death here though had broken him of that habit.

He flung blasts of force. Sharpened as much as he could with the intentionally dull tool. His magic was never meant to be used this way. But he focuses still with intent. And cuts flesh. Sabretooth is blinded and the wind is knocked out of him. Still breathing. "Run, do not go back to the base." They can't risk Sabretooth following them. Hopefully, Guin listens to him. Hopefully, she doesn't go back to the base.

Carolina Reed

Carolina started to think for a moment on what to do, as she looked at Lance on what they should do she was pretty sure that Guin would be devastated if Pietro ended up dying. "I'll possess one of the people attacking Pietro, that should be enough to help him get free and we can get out of here. You can drop the invisibility on the two of us." Carolina told Lance as she went and found a spot to sit down, and quickly left her body, and moved down to the lower floor again.

She found the closest person to her and decided that would be the best target as Carolina went and possessed the goon, it took her a moment to get used to the body that she was currently inhabiting and looked towards the group attacking and turned to Pietro. "It's me so don't attack me alright." Carolina warned Pietro as she held out her hand, and nothing happened on the second try however Carolina was able to use her host's powers and sent two of them flying and slamming into a nearby wall. "Go and get Lance and my body out of here." Carolina told Pietro he was a lot faster than she was or Lance.

Cassandra remained as still and quiet as she could as she watched Magneto's men starting to head off and away from them, so far everything seemed to be good. "Lets move up some." Cassandra whispsered as she started to make her way further down making sure to use as much cover as she could. As Cassandra stopped hiding behind a wall and looked over seeing that Magneto had erected a large wall, there was a rather large gate as well and it was heavily guarded as well to.

Cassandra looked for any kind of small gaps within the wall for them to sneak through but she couldn't from her vantage point, and she didn't want to get any closer in fear of getting caught by Magneto's men. "Do you see any openings that we can sneak in?" Cass asked Jade maybe there was something that she had missed. "If not we should fall back and regroup." She suggested.

Jade nodded, a bit astounded by their luck so far. No one had really noticed them, the current group of incompetent thugs more or less walking right past them. Of course, it wasn't like she and Cassandra were unskilled - Jade considered herself to be exceptional at hiding and stealth, due to her many careers, and she was certain that Cassandra had to be at least average. She paused besides Cass once they had moved forward enough, getting a good look ahead. There was an entrance of sorts, a gate that was heavily guarded. She narrowed her eyes, examining its defenses. "Standard super strength blokes," she murmured to Cass. "And some sort of psychic... The tall woman's Frenzy."

She then looked for a vulnerable entrance specifically, but didn't find any beyond the main gate. She couldn't help but wonder though if there were tunnels that could take them inside of Magneto's fortress - if they absolutely had to do the aboveground route. The surviving X-Men had been living in the tunnels for so long, she had to imagine they'd investigated it - but then again, she had imagined they had done a lot of things that it turned out they hadn't. "I don't see an opening. Might be worth seeing if there's a below ground route," she whispered to Cass. "For now, we should pull back."

Any other moment, Guin would have complained that she wasn't dumb enough to run back to the base, that she had been surviving in this hellish YA-fantasy dystopia of New York City for longer than he had been. But Sabretooth had found them, thanks to his irritatingly good sense of smell, and had clawed Guin, throwing her against the wall. Her body was aching and she managed to catch her breath, as Ed used his magic to start flaying Sabretooth. "Don't miss," Guin told Ed, before rushing forward. It helped that Ed had Sabretooth occupied for the moment, as Guin managed to reach out and touch Sabretooth - Sabretooth, of course, clawing her in the process and Guin yelped in pain - and then...

Switch. Guin opened her eyes, finding herself in the hulking form of Victor Creed. "Ugh, I feel gross... It's me, by the way. I'm going to run from here as far as I can, you should drag me along and try to keep Sabretooth from fucking up my body," Guin said to Ed in Sabretooth's body, before taking off at a run. As she ran, she tried to muster up the courage to rip out her own eyeballs, but even in Sabretooth's body she was scared of that pain. The best she managed to do was scratch her eyes, screaming in pain - as Sabretooth - but at least managing to get several blocks away, putting distance between Sabretooth and Edus. She just hoped Sabretooth wouldn't do any lasting damage to her body...

City Streets
Here's the thing, even with Sabretooth being in Guin's body, that definitely didn't mean that he still wasn't a capable fighter. Guin would feel her hold on the switch weakening as the distance increased, but she'd manage to keep the switch up. As for with Ed, Sabretooth was pissed. And anger always seems to fuel strength for some strange reason (just ask the Hulk right?). Sabretooth (in Guin's body of course) instantly charged at Ed, whirling around a bit and slamming his (or rather Guin's) foot directly into his head, causing him to fall and slam into the ground, as he surprisingly managed to use a decent amount of force behind the swing.

As for the other two, the dice seemed to declare that they don't seem to run into too much trouble as they would be able to start making their way back the direction they had come from. Of course, there was suddenly the sound of footsteps racing along the street, heading towards them now. What they saw would definitely seem a bit strange, but they'd easily recognize the one heading their way. The person to them seemed to be Sabretooth! He was just running down the street, and... Clawing at his own eyes? That was definitely a bit weird.

City Hall
"Uh... I don't know if this is such a good idea..." Lance started to say, before Carolina already had went to possess one of the guys there. Problem was, yeah, the speedster could still run, but even for him, it'll likely still take a few minutes to fix his arms, based on what Lance could tell happened and how badly broken they were. That was assuming he didn't have any sort of internal injuries that might slow him down or make it difficult for him to carry people. They were stuck there for a few moments until Pietro's arms healed themselves rapidly. Of course that being if he didn't break them or whatever again, or if they weren't set properly.

"My arms have to heal before I can carry anyone otherwise it could make them worse, give me a few minutes, unless both of you decided to hold onto me," Pietro snapped at her annoyed. A speedster's healing was very different from a normal regenerative healing factor. While he could heal quickly, it wasn't super quickly. Plus, he could feel his arms both broken in more then a few places. He had managed to set his right arm before it started to try healing, but even then it probably wasn't the best job and still could result in them having to rebreak the bones to fix it.

Dropping the invisibility, Lance sent a few balls of light flying around and tried to hit a few people. Unfortunately, that didn't exactly end well, as he ended up missing all of his shots. The group were now annoyed, and instantly started attacking. One of the group who was telekinetic instantly started sending various pieces of furniture flying around at the three. Pietro managed to dodge the thing that flew at him, one managed to hit Carolina (or rather the person she was possessing) knocking her over, but not enough to kick her out. Lance got knocked to the ground by something too, but it was more of just bruises injury wise at the moment.

Carolina stared at Pietro for a moment and nodded slightly. "Then i'll distract them and you get yourself fixed up." Carolina told Pietro before she ended up getting knocked down onto the ground feeling the wind getting knocked out of her. Luckily her host would be the one to be feeling it anyway as she started to get back up to her feet again and stumbled backwards slightly and shook her head.

Her eyes turned towards the group and held out her hands and used her hosts powers and then sent the group of Magneto's men through some walls nearby hearing the loud crashing sounds coming from the impacts. "Or you two can get out of here and i'll stay back and hold them off." Carolina suggested hoping that would be able to work.

"Hopefully the others at the archives will be able to get the plans and we can figure out a subtle way to get inside of the building." Cass said to Jade before turning away and started to make her way back towards where they had come from. She wasnt sure who Frenzy actually was but she didn't really want to know either and hoped that they wouldn't have to go through the front door that would pretty much be a suicide mission and blow their cover.

When they got back to the area she paused to hear some sort of yelling and turned to see a really weird sight as Sabertooth came running towards them trying to claw out his eyes. She had no idea why he was even doing that in the first place, but she was pretty annoyed earlier after getting stabbed by Sabertooth earlier and ran forward to try and attack him, landing a punch to his chest only for him to stumble backwards.

Ed's head hurt. His whole body hurt. Honestly, he was rather done with this whole situation and it was a good thing for Sabertooth that he was in Guin's body and not his own. As rage coursed through him. He slowed down, took a breath, stood up and orange light emanated from his hands wrapping around Guin's body.

He made the substance of the bubble soft and pliable. Then lifted it slightly off the ground. Sabertooth was now basically in a floating hamsterwheel. Ed could dispel it when Guin returned. But for now, he didn't feel like getting his ass kicked when he couldn't fight back. He left the alley and started back the way they had come, bringing Guin's body along. Time to get out of here. There was no way that wasn't going to attract attention.

Guin had just been minding her own business, doing her very best to save the day. She hadn't been able to claw her own eyes out, which was disappointing as she could feel her hold on the switch weakening. She didn't know how far away she could get from her own body before snapping back, like a rubberband that had been forced too far away - or would she instead get so far away from her body that she'd be trapped forever as Sabretooth, Rapist Supreme? Guin tried not to barf at the thought. It helped somewhat that the next thing she knew, she had been punched in the chest. She stumbled backwards, bewildered as she saw Cass - and the annoying British bitch - in front of her. Damn it. Guin had wanted to get Sabretooth away from people she cared about, not introduce him to others in the area.

"Mate, I don't think that's Sabretooth," the British git said. Guin noticed her pull out some sort of fancy blade.

"Wow, give her a fucking metal, you can recognize a simple case of possession. Now I'm going to run away from here, so you don't get skewered. And by you, I mean you Cass. I could care less about Doctor Who over here and how she turns out," Guin said, feeling a little strange hearing Sabretooth's voice but her words. She then turned around, spotting a building, and decided that it was unlikely for Sabretooth to run into any other friends of hers up there. She scrambled her way up the building with some difficulty, making it up to the roof. She then realized she didn't really have a plan for what to do next...

So Guin took a running leap, trying to make it to the next building - she made it about halfway, before gravity took its toll and she plummeted down to the ground, making a gigantic crater - and more importantly, screaming loudly and making a TON of noise in the process. "FUCK!!!!!!!"

Jade raised an eyebrow, a little bit impressed (well, more of amused) with the progress 'Sabretooth' had made in scaling up the building. It was like an uncoordinated squirrel had suddenly replaced the ruthless killer. Not that she was complaining. She knew that she could take Sabretooth out in a fight, but she didn't relish the idea of fighting him. Her angel blade and wits she was confident would be enough to best him - though she also conceded she'd likely get heavily scarred in the process.

Less than a minute later, when Sabretooth was out of sight, Jade then heard a LOUD crash - and the sound of Sabretooth screaming "FUCK" at the top of his lungs. Jade sighed. "So much for stealth. C'mon, luv, let's get out of here before the entire Brotherhood shows up to see what happened," Jade advised. "Is there a quick access to the sewers nearby?" she asked. She figured Cass would know, having lived in those tunnels for a while now. But if not, Jade was confident she would spot one soon enough.
