8. Jub is having a mental breakdown due to the Feywild being cray-cray (and the fact he just learned he was going to be dad one day), so he helps Brutrumukk attack the shopkeepers
9. One of the shopkeepers tosses the last ingredient we need for Find Familiar into the lake, so we kill both of them
10. Jub and Brutrumukk try to get the herbs back, but they've been eaten by a fish
11. Brutrumukk lures the fish over, Jub uses Mage Hand to try and fish out the herbs, but fishes out a notebook, some gold and a jar with a wasp's nest inside it instead
12. Also the magic items they just bought are useless now because the Feywild is not angry with them, just disappointed

I mean, tbf, I didn't have to use Eighteyes back in Chapter 1 to cause distraction. That was my decision, 'cause I thought that was a cool idea... and I didn't check what her HP was first.
