- Premise -

Hi and welcome to the world of Ishura, an alternate version of earth where the continents were slammed together as a result of a war in the Year 1901 C.E (Common Era), between incredibly powerful beings, known as the Japanese Folklore spirits Daitengu, and their disciples. The aftermath of the war would mark a completely new Era for humanity, every year after being known as A.U or After Union. In this universe, the creatures, spirits, demons, etc, of Japanese Folklore exist and heavily influenced the course of the worlds history.

The most important change in this Universe's History, was the emergence of a genetic mutation, better known as Yokai Gene's (Y.G for short) across the globe. Because the world and it's inhabitants were in close proximity to Yokai, naturally the energy or "Ki" of these mythical beings and creatures would begin to bleed into everything around them. Plants, animals, etc, would begin to involuntarily absorb properties of Ki, and as a direct result, the world would begin to see results of the mutations. Plants would be the first to alarm the change as some became sentient, or would grow in bizarre ways, some even having wildly vibrant color schemes, while others having poisons that could destroy whole sections of forests. Then animals became next, as yokai-esque looking animals began to show up around small towns, while other animals would be seen able to control certain elements or other seemingly magical abilities. Then the first human would surface, with what is now called a "Mutation Marker" that appeared in the form of horns on his forehead. Slowly but surely more humans began to develop traits such as wings, tails, extra arms, two heads, etc. These mutations not only gave a human one trait, but also greatly changed the natural abilities of humans, varying from inhuman speed and dexterity, to increased strength and durability or even heightened senses of smell and hearing.

At first, humans would only have one Mutation Marker and one natural ability that was altered, however that changed when a woman appeared with not one, but two traits. This woman would have wings and horns, and seemingly had all his natural human abilities altered. Not only that but he had the ability to control the weather and materialize a vibrant rainbow colored Katana. She would be known as the first human-being to hold Yokai Shogun Genes or Y.S.G for short. Y.S.G mutations would only appear once out of every ten thousand Y.G holders naturally, meaning they were incredibly rare. A being with Y.S.G would have two or more Mutation Markers, increased natural abilities on all fronts, the ability to summon what would be come to know as a "Soul Binder" or a Katana they can be materialize and dematerialized at will, as well as typically one ability that could be perceived as magical or divine in it's nature. Thus began humanities new societal age, as Y.G and Y.S.G's became more and more widespread with each passing year.

This RP will be taking place in the year 2185 A.U, a dystopian cyberpunk-esque future on Ishura. I have a couple different plots we could do, but the main plot idea I had would be for about 5-6 other people (willing to take more if it gains that much interest). You guys would be playing a group of Y.S.G military operatives, who are tasked by Ishura's government to stop a terrorist group known as the "Banished" from releasing a council of the strongest demons in Jigoku, or the Buddhists version of the underworld.

Other Plots ideas include

-Portals have been opening up in the Brokenlands and letting Yokai escape from Jigoku. We are Wall Defenders, attempting to save Neo-Tokyo from the waves trying to breach it's walls.
-A group of ragtag Y.S.G Mercenaries who are trying to make it in capital of Ishura, the Mega-City Neo-Tokyo.
-A reverse of the main plot, we'd be playing the "Banished".
-A "Death Squad" of Y.S.G soldiers in the J.F (Japanese Federation) siege the Mega-City of Moscow-0, who are trying to secede from Ishura.
-A More sandbox idea, of us just playing Y.S.G Holders who live in Neo-Tokyo.

- Setting -

Our story will be taking place in the far off future of 2185 A.U. In 2185, the world is vastly ahead in means of technology, lifestyles, world views, and general societal hierarchies. On Ishura, there are Five Mega cities Of importance. Them being known as New-Paris (All European Ancestral Decent) at it's Northwest corner and Coast, Moscow-0 at its Northeast Corner and Coast (All Russian Ancestral Decent), San-Washington at its Southwest Corner and Coast (All North, Central and South American Ancestral Decent), Old Kinshasa at its Southeast and coast (Middle Eastern/African/Australian Ancestral Decent) and last but not least, the most important city, Neo-Tokyo (all Asian Countries Ancestral Decent), lay at it's center. Each city spanning thousands of miles wide, all in various different designs and city plans.

All five cities fall under the law and order of the Japanese Federation, or the J.F for short. The J.F took control after the chaos of the Union generally pretty fast as most of their infrastructure was in tact and they happened to have the most Y.S.G soldiers at the time. Of course this wasn't a peaceful takeover. Once the J.F realized they weren't the only surviving government entity, there was a period of hostile take overs, as the J.F mobilized and siege each city at the time. It was a swift and "just" takeover, as the J.F began dictating what was and wasn't allowed. There would be a nation wide ban on the travel of Y.S.G outside of Tokyo, only those carrying a special passport, with approval from the J.F were allowed to leave and live in another mega-city. Not only that, but every Y.S.G would be required to have a tracer injected into their bodies, either at birth, or for the already existing Y.S.G, a non-optional medical procedure. Of course there are many who hide in the vast mega-cities, however they must keep a low profile or risk the Jaegar (Think Navy SEALs) operatives coming to terminate "Undocumented Shogun". This is a problem that is gaining more and more ground as Y.S.G are forming groups and pushing back against the status quo of the J.F.

Tiny bit of Lore stuff if interested

After the events of the "The Union" there was an unbelievable amount of tragedy, both from direct effects and the thousands of problems that arise when continents collide together. Paris (EU), Moscow (RU), Washington D.C (NA/CA/SA), Kinshasa (AF,ME,AU) and Tokyo (Asia) would largely remain intact after the world altering event, and as a result would lead to mass migrations to each respective city. The earth's population at the time was close to around 1,654,000,000 and rising until the calamity, which would leave only a third (551,000,000+) of the worlds population alive. Now however, the world sits at 7,750,000,000+ people, with 80% opting to live in one of the five Light Rail connected Mega-Cities. The other 30% reside in what is called the "Brokenlands", the destroyed ancient remains of hundreds of cities and pre-Union society. These people consist of those that don't agree with the Ruling Political Parties of Ishura, dangerous beings banished from any of the Mega-Cities, those looking for extremely dangerous peace and quiet, or even those who seek an unmarked frontier, ripe with old ruins to rediscover.

In terms of the general environment outside the cities, and even within some of the megacities, are a varying mix of different climates and vastly different landscapes. Because Yokai freely roam the Brokenlands, its been off-limits for many years now, after many civilians who opted to cross the dangerous lands to the other mega-cities were slaughtered in droves. For a Y.G the survival rate is about 10%, and a Y.S.G hitting about 25%. If the various different types of Yokai didn't kill them, it was the always changing weather and landscapes. What could be lush jungles, could change to barren salt flats in the span of only a couple of weeks. With the advancement of technology however, there has been a very primitive road system for those that find themselves outside the mega=city limits. The light rail system however, remains the fast way to traverse to any of the five cities, taking about 30 minutes to cross what would typically take a full eight months on foot. Drifters, banished and Defectors from the J.F all have their own ways of surviving and typically if you seek to venture outside the walls, you'll need have a Coyote with you, or someone who makes a living smuggling things in and out of the mega-cities and across the Brokenlands.

____________________________________________________ C H A R A C T E R I N F O R M A T I O N Name Tsukiyama Fujino Nicknames/Aliases Mama Tsuki | Lady Fujino | One-Eye'd Wolf of Sakanoshita | CodeName: Silver Tengu Birth City/District: -Redacted- Age: 55 Years Old Height 6'0 ft (1.84 m) Racial Background: Pure Blood Japanese Race: Y.S.G Natural Born (Who're often referred to as Shoguns in the mega-cities) Hair Color: Silver Eye Color: One Blue/One Grey Appearance: Tsuki has a vary intimidating aura and stature, said to be able to suck the air out of the room just by walking in. Standing at 6ft tall, she isn't necessarily the tallest person, but tends to be noticeable based on height alone. Being a part of the Jaeger, Tsukiyama has had to maintain her physical health for more than 25 years, and her body shows that. Underneath what typically is a traditional white kimono, is an exceptional toned and built body, like that of an Y.S.G solider. The Jaeger program kept her on a tight training and maintaining regiment that, despite being ten years gone from the government position, she still follows the regiment to a T. She also has an uncanny beauty for being 55, seeming to have stopped aging in her 20s, having Y.S.G has prolonged her health and aging. Tsukiyama is riddled in dozens of scars all over her body, not just the ones present on her face and neck. Being a Jaeger meant a lot of combat and skirmishes, having come close to dying several times, her scars are a window into who she was prior to becoming woman she is now. She also has a vibrant neon tattoo of a simple black swan at the back of her neck, near the base. Mutation Marker(s): She has one grey eye, that gives the illusion shes blind, but it simply it cloudy, seeming to be filled with mist almost. She also has the white wings of a crane that she can keep tucked to her body to seemingly disappear under her clothes. She also was born with long flowing silver hair that has never lust its vibrance. Personality: Its very long...sorry Tsukiyama is a very particular person for some with Y.S.G, once called too soft for being a Y.S.G Holder when she was younger. She is typically considered one of the most down to earth Y.S.G Holders many come into contact with residing in Sakanoshita. Especially for someone running a gang in the more seedy parts of Neo-Tokyo. Truth be told, she often thinks that the job isn't for her secretly, she feels like she should have been a doctor or care taker, but she'd learn it really doesn't matter what she thinks pretty early on in her life. Upon realizing she was a Y.S.G holder, or rather her family realizing, her life would be carefully laid out in front of her, never being allowed to stray from it. She would be forced to be perfect in every way, from her attitude, to her mannerisms, even the way she spoke would have to be eloquent and perfect. Because she was always told to put others before herself, this is where the base of her personality starts, a child who wanted to be perfect for a family that she could never be perfect enough for. Tsukiyama has a very calming personality much of the time, like that of a mother or a grandmother, because of her experience as both a mother and and a wife. She learned to deal with a lot of problems such bickering or disagreements and happens to have a very soothing voice that seems to want to lure you into a calming state or even sleep. She loves to go through problems with people and act like a mother or therapist giving her opinion on what they should do or say. She is over all the nicest when it comes to those sort of things and she loves helping others a lot. Even if they aren't the nicest, she tries her best to help out with even the smallest of others problems, whether it be physical or mental, she does her best to use her wealth knowledge and try and give the best advice she feels possible. The other gang leaders find her personality interesting as she strives to help even the evilest of people before having to fight. As long as its not killing the innocent, Tsukiyama will try help with almost, again almost, every task. Though there are some boundaries she will not cross, those involve her body, killing comrades and overall just wrongly hurting or extorting people. Those are the boundaries she will not cross even if her life is on the line and a sword is at her neck. She can also be much like a sage when helping people through physical hardships, helping them train, even save their sorry asses if need be. She gonna try her best to help the newbies out whenever possible, even ones that aren't going to be fond of her. If the person is willing, she do her best to help them train, just ask nicely and she'll do her best to make you stronger. This part of her comes from the fact that she no longer has Y.S.G Soldiers to train, having been ten years since she quit the J.F Special Forces. She loves giving advice that is honest regardless of if they will hurt your feelings, she will not lie to you even if it comes down to saying something mean, she only wants you to get better and if things need to be said then she will say it. Granted she does understand feelings and try to dial it back in certain situations, but for the most part, you will get the truth out of her and nothing less. In the event that she does lie to you, which rarely will happen, she would do it for the protection of not only herself but you and the people involved if it is that serious then at that point she will keep it to herself and only the people she is sure can handle it so that she does not cause mass panic. She does have a dark center however, her time as a Jaeger did harden her into a dangerous person. Gaining the name of One-Eye Wolf of Sakanoshita was not for nothing. She is exceptionally trained in combat scenarios, dealing with hundreds of missions in her 25 years working in the J.F military, 22 years of which were in the Special Forces division. Not only was she a member of the Jaeger Branch, but she also lead a squad for many years, before going on to become training director for the Jaeger Branch. She is a trained killer, with more then 500+ confirmed kills under her belt. She is not someone you want to cross, as underneath the sage like persona, lays someone ready to do ANYTHING is possible to keep her gang and people safe. Not many have seen her fight in combat, but the ones who have, have gone on to say that she becomes unrecognizable. As if she becomes an disciple of death itself, there is no one who has crossed her, breathing alive and well. TL:DR: Tsukiyama is the Mother of the gang, she’s looking out for not only her own but her surrounding community, and will do her best to guide them. But understand all circumstances, do not try to cross her or get on her bad-side, it might lead to an immediate dirt nap. Aspirations: -She tries and rise above the darkness that is Neo-Tokyo Gang Culture. -To better the lives of the people she leads and those that rely on her. -Supporting her local community and attempting to provide order in a district of chaos. -Hopefully one day wash away the sins that she committed as a Jaeger for the J.F -To disrupt the J.F at every turn and destroy any power they hold over Ishura. Fears: -The death of her Gang members. -Failing to better the lives of those around her. -Never being able to escape the shadow of her time serving the J.F. -The J.F's political policies and power. Vehicle: Mitsubishi Horizon ZR6 Tsukiyama has always been more partial to the older body styles of motorcycles from the past. When Mitsubishi announced they be making a retro bike, She could hardly contain her excitement. Thanks to her job with the government, and a high position at that, she was able to be one of the first to order and purchase one. Hers has a white base paint with gold and black trim, with the Kurosagi symbol of the black swan as a decal on the right side of the bike. The bike is a hyrbid, capable of riding on the road, or switching seamlessly into its hovercraft mode. It is naturally faster on the road than on the hoverzones, as it is a retro build, capable of reaching speeds up to 250MPH. The bike has an active A.I system, that aids in keeping the Bike on the road at its top speed. The A.I system also has a An Active Protection Policy that keeps a small invisible forcefield around the bike when it's in motion. It does not disturb whatever it touches unless the A.I deeps it a threat to the driver. It also syncs to a special helmet that has a Heads up Display projected on the visor of the helmet. The bike requires a hand imprint cybernetic that acts as a biometric key. Meaning the bike cant be turned on or activated unless Tsuki remains in close proximity. P O W E R / C Y B E R N E T I C S I N F O R M A T I O N Strengths/Natural Abilities: -Redacted- Weaknesses/Flaws: -Redacted- Y.S.G Ability(ies): Base Ability: Object Displacement Within an invisible sphere of fifteen meters around Tsukiyama, she can teleport any object (living or Inanimate) that enters within the sphere of influence, anywhere within fives miles around her, either vertically or horizontally. There are some requirements for Tsuki to be able to use it on living objects. The most important requirement, is eye contact, not having to be longer than 3 seconds in total of uninterrupted eye contact is necessary for complete displacement. Otherwise she will either teleport a portion of the object, or be unable to control the direction and/or destination of the displacement. She also must stand still prior to attempting precise displacement, otherwise it can result in horrible disasters or accidents. She also is able to teleport herself freely within the sphere of influence, it appearing as though she's suddenly popping from place to place if you were to watch her use the ability on herself. Being a natural born Y.S.G, her power at birth were already pretty strong, accidentally teleporting her father into the sky above the hospital when he held her for the first time. She also happened to be a Y.S.G Holder, whose power had the ability to awaken twice. First Awakening: Object Acceleration/Deceleration Following in the same distance of Object Displacement, Tsukiyama is able to speed up or slow down living and nonliving objects within the sphere of influence. All the same requirements apply, this awakened portion of her ability requires even greater focus in order to use it precisely. She simply must think about the speed or lack of speed she wants in the object and she can enforce the change in speed immediately or gradually. She must maintain absolute focus if she wants to specifically use the ability on an enemy and not an ally also within the invisible sphere as an example. Meaning she is heavily vulnerable when attempting to use this portion of her ability precisely around her allies. From the perspective of a living object being subjected to this ability, they would totally be unaware of the changes at first, only simply feeling something was incredibly off. Quickly however, Living objects that were sped up would feel as if they were teleported, and the space around them seem to be moving in slow motion. Where as if they were slowed, they would feel as though they were slowly treading in wet cement, unable to control their forward momentum or actions. Time would appear to pass them at a terrifying speed, with no way to react properly. She also can apply these properties to herself if she chooses too. Second Awakening: Liminal Purgatory -Redacted- Soul Binder/Weapon(s): Kusarigama - A chained sickle-esque weapon with a spiked weight at the end. Tsuki soul binder is a perfect match for her, capable of close combat and mid ranged attacks. The weight on the end is said to be well over four hundred pounds, capable of destroying walls and the ground by a simple swing. If anyone were to pick up her soul binder or attempt to use it, they would quickly discover the weight of the weapon was outstanding, despite Tsuki wielding it as if it were no light than a feather. It's summoning and desummon effects consist of a mist that covers her abilities sphere of influence and lingers for ten minutes. Covered in battle scars and being solid black, Tsuki's Kusaigama has only been shown to a handful of people that are still living. Cybernetics/Gadets/Accessories: She does have a small implant that allows her to use Kurosagi's private netspace on the go and contact her gang members. She also has a custom hand imprint on the inside of her right hand, it white, gold and black to match her motorcycle. It serves several different purposes, its primary function being a biometric key to her home and bike, as well as her office at the Kurosagi's homebase. It secondary functions include, a virtual wallet, the cybernetic itself is bullet proof and can be used as a shield against bladed weapons and a flash light. E X T R A Anything else? - Theme Song - She has a slight addiction to Yokai Tabacco, a sort of Y.G Weed variant that aids in eliminating the slight pain in her hand she feels from her cybernetic implant. She will often be seen smoking or rolling her own cigarettes. - She has an extensive knowledge of the inner-workings of Neo-Tokyo and decent knowledge on the other Mega-Cities having been a Jaeger for so many years. She has a wealth of knowledge on how the J.F functions as well, that has helped the Gang avoid the lime light for the most part. - Because of her life before coming to Sakanoshita, she has a seemingly unlimited number of connections and contacts that she's made with her work in the J.F Special Forces.

H i s t o r y Redacted Information - Redacted- Tsukiyama would leave the Jaeger Program and the J.F as a whole at the age of 45. After the incident of - redacted - she would be dishonorably discharged from the J.F Special Forces Jaeger Branch. Now having the opportunity to be herself and make her own choices after giving her all and serving without once stopping to question her orders, she wanted to change the status-quo that was the J.Fs control over Ishura. Understanding that this was no small task and would have to take time to accomplish successfully, she decided to start her plans in the heart of Sakanoshita. Opening up a illegal car modifications shop, named Fujino Motorworx in the heart of the district. Tsuki would spend ten years building the shops reputation as a reliable shop that did good and honest business despite being in one of the more seedier parts of Neo-Tokyo. Because Tsukiyama had an untapped wealth of savings from working in such a high position in the J.F Military, the stock she was able to acquire was nearly unlimited, especially as the shop began obtaining high society clientele commissions. All the while, Tsuki herself would become a bit of local celebrity, known as a kind and gentle business owner in the dangerous and treacherous Downtown Sakanoshita. Her shop that started as as only a vehicle mod shop, would eventually add a bar within its walls. This bar would begin to be called the Kurosagi, a safe space within Sakanoshita where those who felt like they didn't belong in any of the groups in Sakanoshita. Tsuki was the bartender, seemed to welcome must anyone that would behave. There was also many rumors of the few occasions someone had decided to wrong such a nice lady. In turn, a swift and almost blindingly fast end would almost always come their way. There also was a very old rumor that not anyone dare mention in her establishments, that she was once the Head Jaeger and Training Director for the J.F. Some unfortunate souls learned this the hard way very early on into Tsukiyama's arrival in Sakanoshita. Now ten years later, Fujino Motorworx has a steady line of regular customers, who only trust the shop to touch their car. The Kurosagi is typically always packed with drifters and characters of all types but there is one thing they all have in common. They seek a place to get away from outside world that was Neo-Tokyo. In the bar, there was always laughter and excitement, and while Tsukiyama wasn't the main bartender always, the occasions she would, it would always mean free drinks for the night. Only within the last year has she started the second phase of her operation against the J.F, recruiting the people she trusted most to join in her gang, a front that she was going to use to disturb the general ecosystems of each district and respect big gangs. Of course she always wanted the people she recruited to be able to live the lives that seemed so unobtainable from the perspective of someone on the streets in Sakanoshita. She was unsure of if this was the correct move, but after 10 years of embedding herself back into Neo-Tokyo's underbelly, she felt her plan would work sufficiently, or rather she hoped.

These come many different forms, however varying in number between Y.G and Y.S.G Holders. If you're going to be playing a normal human then you can delete this from your cs. As for Y.G vs Y.S.G, Y.G will only have two mutation trait, while Y.S.G can have up to four different mutation markers. These markers show up in various forms ranging from Extra Limbs/Tails/Wings/Horns/Extra Heads to more subtle changes such as Separate Eye Colors/Inhuman Irises/Uniquely Vibrant Hair colors/Inhuman shaped teeth or ears/Scales /etc. I'd like for you guys to give the markers some descriptions that make them unique.

Because Neo-Tokyo does have a very confusing and jumbled street system as the city expanded faster then it could plan, those who can afford it, will typically take to the Hoverzones above the cities streets. Hikari appears so much like a normal human, except being "normal" was quite rare in her era. One way to notice her peculiarity is to stare at her eyes in which one could see the pair of red glow in her iris. Also, her skin might shift into paler tone from time to time, based on whenever Hikari having her session of light-eating, a habit she has been doing since her realization and acceptance of having the Yokai part in her. Being able to absorb light through her skin as her alternative sustenance, Hikari's choice of clothing would always have some parts of her skin revealed. She likes to expose some larger portions of her shoulder or midriff.

Having the gene of a Yokai Shogun inside her gives Hikari a particular strangeness, which is the Ki reservoir where she can keep the gathered nature energy. This reservoir is located in her stomach, right behind her navel where it can be clearly visible when Hikari has just gathered enough Ki converted from the absorbed light or consumed directly from a slaughtered Yokai. The reservoir shines with bluish light and also makes the marking around Hikari's abdomen glow like neon tattoos.

Mutation Marker(s):
Hikari's mutation can be seen in her pair of red colored eyes and unnatural bluish-silver hair. Also, falsely thought to be some kind of neon tattoo, the marking around her navel is actually a natural phenomenon which became prominent as Hikari grew into her adolescent. The marking has been growing more complex since then, starting from merely simple curves into an intricate mandala-shaped form, along with Hikari's affinity with her Yokai power.

Personality:
One can say that the degree of being an introvert is quite high in Hikari; she prefers to do a lot of things alone, seeing the company of others to be rather tiring than refreshing. She keeps the number of her friends small, choosing only from the ones she could fully trust. This is likely because Hikari trusts her own judgement more than her friends, seeing her critical opinion matters more than the necessity friendliness to keep them close. Even so, Hikari is eager to experiment with new experiences, especially about philosophical thoughts, visual arts, literatures, and musical genres. This is quite contrasted with the choice of her fashion and gadget design which are quite conservative and tend to follow the classics.

Hikari is quite scrutinizing when she does her things, preferring to keep everything in order and under control without provoking anything out of expectation to happen. She loves to plan things, but as she grows more mature, she begins to accept some factors of probabilistic randomness in the way things work. The high level of Hikari's confidence comes from this mindset of getting as many things ordered as possible and deciding things based on certain knowledge rather than chanceful hunches.

Vehicle:
Hikari's preference of her vehicle is quite conservative, focusing on engineering performance rather than the kitsch style commonly adopted by her contemporary. One might say the motorcycle she choose to ride bears the style of a bygone era when wheeled sports-bike racing was common. At the time when fossil fuel-based engines came to its end and the manufacturing industries producing such vehicles bankrupted. Some big companies merged into a single consortium to gain advantage for research in the new form of energy. Trusting the product quality of this Consortium, or Konsoushiamu as they were better known as, Hikari puts her favoritism in a certain line they are manufacturing.

Konsoushiamu Zero has a matching capability like the high-performance superbikes during fossil fuel era. Hikari is able to fully control the vehicle into its peak performance without any cybernetics augmentations thanks to her Yokai reflex. It should be noted also that almost every part of this bike has been customized into Hikari's personal preference, from its body parts, engine, transmission, suspension, wheels, braking system, boosters, even its hover-switch that enables the bike to glide on hover zone or even off-road. The design bears a striking resemblance with the ancient Yamaha VMax, except for the wheels that also serve as the hover pads, flipped sideways by the suspension rods when the hover-mode is turned on.

Strangely, while most motorists would customize the visual aspects of their rides to become strikingly visible among the mass, Hikari wants her bike to stay modest. Also, compared to others who would augment their rides with cybernetic controls and AIs, Hikari chooses to keep it as mechanical as possible with an ancient style of key-based lock and kick-starter. In this kind of world brimming with kitsch, one could never determine that Hikari is the one being conservative or rather radically liberal in her choice of style. Moreover, Hikari believes the bond she makes with her motorcycle has manifested into a kami residing inside it, giving that motorcycle a "soul" she calls Kuro.

Strengths/Natural Abilities:
Living among the cult members adopting their ideas from an ancient sect of warrior-monks has familiarized Hikari with the practice of martial arts. This enables Hikari to stand her ground when fighting becomes necessary. Also, cage fighting has been a hobby she routinely does when the work hours conclude. Beyond the routine forms, scripted mock-fights, and theoretical explanations of the martial art techniques she learned, Hikari is also familiar with the practical functionality of the contemporary MMA.

The meditation she routinely practices also helps Hikari in focusing her mind and increasing the acuity of her senses. This also helps Hikari in dealing with the mathematical intricacies surrounding the metaverse programming she does as her alternative hustles. Hikari's stable and calm mental state, along with her sense of spiritual purpose builds her confidence in her skill and her capability to finish the gang jobs when the necessity arrives. Not only she's able to compute calculus operation in her mind, Hikari is also quite an accurate and precise gunslinger.

Indeed, carrying the Shogun Gene inside her, Hikari's close combat capability increases to a degree that she can easily beat several fighters of the topmost weight class at once in a hand-to-hand fighting. She's quite capable going against ten opponents at once, with decreasing confidence as the number goes up. Of course, the rule inside the cage is contrastingly different with the rule of the street; that also comes into the equation.

Weaknesses/Flaws:
The ability Hikari gets for having the gene of Yokai Shogun also comes with a price. When Hikari has her energy reservoir filled with Ki, a powerful attack right toward her abdominal area would certainly destabilize her Ki flow. She learned this the hard way when at one day, Hikari challenged her opponent for a cage fight with her Ki reservoir being full. Hikari received a direct knee strike on her belly that resulted in a debilitating pain, followed by an internal explosion of her reserved energy. Hikari's Ki "bled" out of her and immediately deprived her totally out of her energy, rendering her unconscious and having some terrible abdominal and muscular pain for several days. A fine-tuned Ki-flow management has to be performed, especially with Hikari's light-eating habit, for her to keep the Ki reservoir stable while also enables her to utilize the gathered Ki for the Overdrive skill.

Y.S.G Ability(ies):

Base Ability: Light Overdrive
Like a photosynthesizing plants, Hikari is able to directly process any forms of light for her sustenance or converting it into a form of energy that she can gather inside her Ki reservoir. The rate of her energy reserve to get filled is slow, but she can quickly absorb the light around her to immediately fill a certain amount of energy, resulting in a local blackout. When the amount is right, Hikari can utilize the Ki reserve to unleash her Overdrive. When in this state, Hikari has her strength, speed, acuity, and endurance increased into several degrees higher, raising her combat and survival capability. The amount of time Hikari can have for her Overdrive is limited by the energy she keeps inside her Ki reservoir.

First Evolution: Yokai Vampirism
Awakened when she had to deal with Yokai in a night with no moon, Hikari's desperation for energy manifested in her being capable to extract raw Ki from severed Yokai parts. In a non-critical circumstance, this type of absorption allowed Hikari to access a different kind of energy that can augment her Overdrive to have twice the output. Sometimes, Hikari brings along some features from the Yokai she absorbs temporarily, as if she gains a new ability copying the Yokai.

Second Evolution: Whiteout
Awakened when Hikari faced a situation where a Yokai found out about her weakness and tried to abuse it. The Yokai had its way to "force-feed" Hikari with its Ki. Should the Yokai kept pushing the Ki input to Hikari, her reservoir would eventually break. Depended on the amount of Ki she got force-fed, this could result in Hikari losing her ability or even being dead. This evolution allowed Hikari to immediately unleash the raw Ki she has gathered into her reservoir. The energy will manifest into a thermobaric explosion that will obliterate anything in Hikari's vicinity except herself.

Soul Binder/Weapon(s):
Katana - Hikari's soul binder is a humble katana, a single-edged curved longsword commonly used by the ancient Samurai. This Soul Binder comes with the necessary skill to fight using such form of weapon. One might notice how Hikari will have her stance and form shifted when she fights using her Soul Binder as if she has learned or accustomed for long in an entirely different martial art. This weapon has another feature in which it can unravel itself into tiny metal spikes, telepathically controlled. The Ki that Hikari keeps in her reservoir would deplete gradually during her time using the telepathic control for the spike strikes.

Even so, Hikari would prefer to stay with her hand-to-hand fighting as long as possible. The summoning process for her Soul Binder is quite painful for her. It begins with the handle materializing itself in front of Hikari's abdominal Ki reservoir. As she then grabs and pulls the handle outward, the blade part will gradually forms into its entirety, starting from close to the handle and moving toward its tip. One would see as if Hikari pulls her Soul Binder from her navel, which was not entirely wrong because the summoning process gives Hikari a stinging sensation as if she had just been stabbed there and got the blade pulled.

This Katana has its name, of course, Gin'iro for its silvery blade manifestation.

Cybernetics/Gadgets/Accessories:
No cybernetics, Hikari adheres to a philosophical belief of Organic Puritanism, like modern day Vegan but instead of being concerned with eating meat, she's concerned with using implants as a necessity.
She has a smartphone, though, to make and receive calls; also installed with some fundamental software for Netrunning.

Out-of-Street Activities
Out of her street-life, Hikari assumes the life of a digital tinkerer. She manages to familiarize herself with the necessary hardware and software of both computing and networking platforms in developing an alternate life-like environment known as the metaverse. Preferring to see herself as a versatile expert and consultant, Hikari rarely stays in a single company for more than two years. Even so, her project portfolio has given a significant influence in further progressing the metaverse, as the digital environment gradually integrating into a single gigantic interconnected entity. Of course, this aspiration comes from the influence of Pure Land concept in a syncretic philosophical idea that Hikari adopts. She hopes that through the metaverse she has been creating, people can live their life away from the nihilistic materialism of the real world and take their time to contemplate the meaning of their lives.

Artificial Insemination and Traumatic Childhood
Out of jealousy against the man she unrequitedly loved, a bio-scientist inseminated herself with the genetically modified sperm she had a privilege to use from The Institute. The child that was born would eventually grow to what Hikari becomes right now. However, the miracles shown by the condition of Hikari's birth attracted the interest of some less ethical members of The Institute. They wanted to take both the mother and her daughter to become the subjects of the research surrounding the Yokai Shogun genes. At one time, Hikari found her mother coming home late and could not be contacted. After several hours trying to contact her, Hikari got a call from a member of a cult. He said that they found her mother was already dead with her abdomen cut open and some organs had already been harvested.

After dealing with the numbing shock the news had on Hikari, the cult member also told the girl that her late mother was a part of them. They were more than willing to honor the will of Hikari's late mother in raising her daughter after she left. After giving her mother the proper burial, Hikari moved to live with the cultist monks. Hikari gradually adopted the cultists way of life and their heterodox teaching of syncretic union coming from the ancient thoughts of Taoism and Buddhism. This particularly included their view on traditional medicine and martial arts, also how they viewed the greed exhibited by the big corpos and how to take them down.

Gabriel is rather thin, with a wiry and lean build not unlike that of an athlete- or at least one used to running and regular physical exertion. While not the bursting at the seams with brawn, Gabriel is in good fighting shape, and his body is sinewy and lithe. His eyes are a bright, piercing green, and his hair is white, contrasting his mocha skin. Large holo-light Neon tattoos stretch across his body, lining his arms, chest, back and neck with a variety of designs, an eclectic mix of technological and spiritualist in nature. A variety of scars also dot across various parts of his body, and his clothing choices reside in the middle ground between fashionable and practical. Mutation Marker(s): Gabriel's hair is a pigment-less white, lacking in luster or shine. His pupils also glow a faint red while in the dark. Personality: Despite his resting scowl and constant sarcasm, Gabs is about as well meaning and warm as they come. Snarky, and a bit of a smart-ass, Gabriel has a rebellious streak a mile wide, and chafes under the thumb of authority. Gabriel has a bit of trouble keeping his mouth shut, especially when dealing with outsiders, but is generally playful and friendly when with the crew. Fairly intelligent and perceptive, Gabriel has an eye for detail and can notice things others miss, and can be surprisingly insightful. Fiercely loyal to the other members of the Kurosagi, Gabriel is not exactly altruistic, but is quick to jump to the aid of others, as well as the downtrodden and exploited- usually because it means sticking it to the Big Man. Gabriel is also resourceful enough to realize that having more allies in more places gives him a bigger safety net when things inevitably go to shit. Aspirations: Gabriel is under no illusion that he'll probably die young, most people in his line of work, with his kind of life do. Gabriel is determined to die making as big a stink as he can for the J.F. Blow up their towers, disrupt their communications, fuck them and their families, the whole 9 yards. If by some miracle he manages to survive to retirement, he's going to buy an RV, arm it to the gills with guns, and live the rest of his life far away from the big cities. Fears: Blackouts - No power = no tech. No tech = bad news. Ghosts - Gabriel's family grew up very superstitious. Gabriel knows that they're not real, but it doesn't stop him from getting jumpy. The Ocean - It's deeper than any swimming pool, and it never ends- also tech tends to break. Vehicle: Honda REC-4 Honda's first foray into hover-vehicles was the REC-1, which ended terribly. Having learned from their mistakes however, Honda created the REC-4, to a much more modest success. Built as a rugged explorer and all-terrain vehicle, the REC-4 was originally designed as a scouting vehicle for forays into the Brokenlands before it was made off-limits. Durable, with an oversized engine and decent performance for its size and price, the REC-4 has since found its niche as a workhorse vehicle for delivery companies, with its front-trunk and ample space for saddlebags. The REC-4 still has a sizable market share with those that like to skirt the law and go into the Brokenlands anyway. Gabriel's REC-4 has underwent significant modification, the engine was tuned to provide more performance, and all of the 'unnecessary bits' has been removed to reduce weight. The top rack has been reconfigured to work as a drone mount, allowing Gabriel's drone to stow and charge itself atop his vehicle- it also allows the drone to pilot the vehicle itself. The side tool mounts have also been modified to carry weapons as well as tools, and the seats have been replaced with something a bit more cushy. P O W E R / C Y B E R N E T I C S I N F O R M A T I O N Strengths/Natural Abilities: Y.S.G. Enhanced Natural Abilities - As a Y.S.G. holder, Gabriel's natural abilities are many times greater than the average person. Even moreso, Gabriel's manual dexterity and spatial awareness are well above average, even for Y.S.G. holders. Tech-head - Gabriel has a knack for technology and is an ardent technophile. He's good at putting things together- and even better at taking them apart. Gabriel is constantly tinkering with gear and making improvements for him and his crewmates- whether or not they asked for it. Surveillance/Reconnaissance Expert - Gabriel is excellent at gathering information. Through a combination of natural senses and technology, Gabriel can work defensively- securing the Kurosagi's own turf, as well as offensively- breaking into, monitoring, and sabotaging enemy sites. Asymmetric Warfare - Gabriel is no slouch in a fight. While not the strongest, fastest or toughest member of the Kurosagi, Gabriel manages to hold his own, and is decent with both a firearm and or in a messy brawl. Gabriel prefers to fight smarter, not harder, utilizing drones, explosives, traps and smart planning to outwit and defeat his opponents. Weaknesses/Flaws: Motor Mouth - While generally not rude- at least to his own crew, Gabriel has a habit of snarking and throwing sarcasm every which way. Sometimes his mouth gets him in more trouble than necessary. Controlled Chaos - Gabriel's a mess. Circuitboards, gears, tools, bolts, wires- everywhere. He claims to know where everything is, but it doesn't stop his spaces from being an absolute hazard. Overconfident - While certainly quite talented, Gabriel sometimes exaggerates his capabilities and can get in over his head. Authority Issues - While fully capable of following the orders of directives of his crew, Gabriel has a big problem with the J.F. and will often do things just because the J.F. tells them not to. Y.S.G Ability(ies): Blindsense Within a range of 25 meters, Gabriel can sense and detect the vast majority of people and objects through a type of seismic sonar. Gabriel's senses are able to negate practically any method of stealth, be they visual or otherwise, so long as they are making contact with a surface that Gabriel also has contact with. Gabriel has a harder time detecting things that are flying or hovering, but larger objects- such as drones, will often displace enough air that makes contact with walls or floors that he can at least tell that there is something in the general area. In conjunction with his SquadSightTM smart lenses, he can 'tag' the location of potential enemies for his crew to exploit. First Awakening: Precognitive Sense A sort of 6th sense, Gabriel has a sort of precognitive ability that allows him to detect danger before it happens to him, allowing him to react to it and generally get out of danger. This sense often takes over Gabriel's movements and he'll often react before realizing it. This sense assists Gabriel in dodging all manner of threats, be they physical attacks, firearms, even explosions. The reactions are not always foolproof- the reactions work to get him out of imminent danger, but may not always be perfect. Sometimes injuries are unavoidable, but Gabriel's precognitive sense will often help mitigate some of the damage- for instance moving his body in such a way that he only receives a serious wound instead of a deadly one. Second Awakening: Predictive Sight -Locked- Soul Binder/Weapon(s): Soulbound Katana A longsword with a slightly curved blade. Gabriel's soul binder takes the form of a finely crafted katana. Chains adorn the grip, and the tsuba has the shape of a golden, coiling dragon. The blade itself is a gleaming silver in color, practically glowing in the moonlight. The weapon itself is quite hefty, capable of cleaving through steel and concrete alike, but is perfectly balanced in Gabriel's grip. When summoned, the weapon appears to be assembled by countless bits of red neon light. Custom Built AK-2174 Smartgun This personal weapon vaguely resembles the widely produced, rugged and reliable AK-2174. The core internals remain the same- while neither the most accurate nor the fastest firing rifle on the market, it is the most reliable, able to sustain practically any amount of abuse and continue firing. Gab's own modifications to the weapons are mostly external: He's replaced the grip and handguard with REALwoodTM synthetic lightweight grips, as well as a sight. However, his most extreme- and noticeable modification has been the addition of a homemade Smartgun system. While not as refined as military smartguns, its functions remain comparable, including control over a laser range finder and a small camera (allowing for targeted shooting around corners), monitors to keep track of ammunition, heat buildup, material stress, pre-emptive reoil management, quick switching between firing modes, ejecting magazines, and firing the gun remotely. Smartgun functions are linked to Gab's smartlink cybereyes. x2 Flock 84 Pistols - A pair of street level imitations of a more popular (and expensive) brand of pistols. These are last year's models. Reliable, cheap, ubiquitous, the Flock 84 is one of the most common firearms on the streets of Neo-Tokyo. Its standout feature are its poly-rubber grips, which while not particularly comfortable are also incapable of retaining fingerprints. Vibrodagger - Useful for when the continuum of force has degraded to hand to hand combat. For optimum performance, the leading edge 'pointy end' should be applied to the enemy and thrust into vital regions. This should be repeated as necessary. Cybernetics/Gadets/Accessories: SquadSightTM Cyberlenses - A set of minimally invasive cybernetic implants placed on top of the eyes as opposed to replacing them. Provides all the base function of cybereyes, but lacks some of the higher power vision modes. Built in HUD provides basic target acquisition, and can interface with smart-systems. The SquadSight lenses also allow Gabriel to send target information to linked allies on his network, either to their own cybereyes or other respective HUD systems if applicable. Sony Virtu-Interface - A large headset resembling neon-lit goggles that allows Gabriel to visually interface with a variety of technology. Its primary use is to allow Gabriel to 'see' through the eyes of his drones, access the 'net, or operate various machinery he's built for the Kurosagi. Mitsubishi E5 Security Drone 'Gort' A police grade security/surveillance drone that Gabriel 'obtained' from one of their depots a while back. It has since been tinkered on to hell and back. Its hovermotors have been upgraded, its camera replaced with an HD one, the chin mounted CS Gas launcher replaced with a machinegun and a single-shot 40mm grenade launcher, and the drone has been repainted a vibrant yellow and blue. Its A.I. has been upgraded considerably over the base model, but still requires instructions to properly function. Gort can be collapsed and stowed on the front of Gab's hoverbike, and can even operate it in a pinch. Infiltration Kit - A small case containing a variety of gear necessary for infiltration. Includes things like a set of binoculars, magnetic climbing gloves, small knife, flashlight, multitool, lockpicks, micro-cameras, electronic lock spoofer, miniature plasma cutting torch, smoke bombs, ball bearings, twine, wire, zip ties, candy and a short crowbar. WTAPS Ballistics Vest and Jacket- Brand name clothing, brand name protection. WTAPS' latest drop includes an actual armored ballistic vest, with aggressive looking plates in the iconic Military-StreetTM style. The vest itself rated for limited amounts of small arms fire, and can slot an additional steel/ceramic plate underneath for protection against rifle caliber ammunition. The jacket itself is a carbo-kevlar weave, durable and tearproof, with plenty of pockets. Also comes with a tactical fanny pack in your color of choice. E X T R A Anything else? YBD Vape - Gabriel uses YBD, an oil version of Tokai Tobacco for pain relief for his cybernetics. Gives a nicotine buzz, and tastes sweet. Gabriel may or may not have developed a small dependence. Snack Pouch - Gabriel is regularly snacking on something- anything. SynthNuts, soy-meat jerky bits, REALsugarTM "Fruit" flavored candy, and copious amounts of Soycaf.

H i s t o r y Street Trash Born to a pair of lower class laborers, Gabriel was born with very little and had to fight for everything he's had in life. The middle child of five, there was a motto at the dinner table of the Rivera family: "You eat fast, or you don't eat!". Most of Gabriel's childhood was spent in the streets of the Heita District, running through the urban slums with his brothers and other street kids, scavenging, stealing, fighting, getting into trouble and causing a general ruckus. Gabriel was always faster and stronger than the other kids his age, but no one really realized that he was a Y.S.G. when he was a child- they just figured he was just fast or strong for his age. The vast majority of people there weren't always bright enough to tell the difference between a Y.G. and a Y.S.G. anyway. Schooling for the lower class children of the Neo-Tokyo was never a particularly strong priority, and most of what the lower class children learned in their youth was the lessons they learned in the streets- with mathematics, letters and reading being a skill learned while they were in their homes after dinner. Once Gabriel turned 12, he joined his brothers the family business: a local chop shop, taking apart scrap electronics and machines and selling the parts for a tiny profit. It was here Gabriel started coming into his own. Gabriel realized he had a knack for electronics and machinery and (often on the family budget) began to tinker and assemble things on his own. He was 14 when he made his first firearm. Gabriel began throwing himself headlong into work, ranging further and further out of the slums to scavenge or steal useful materials to work with. All the while, he and his family kept his status as a Y.S.G. under wraps- luckily, Gabriel's features were neither noticeable, nor his powers particularly conspicuous. People avoided the slums in general anyway, so Gabriel was free to fly under the radar. Unfortunately, nothing lasts forever, and Gabriel and his family were eventually caught up in a gang war between the Kurushimu and the Tenshi-tachi no musuko-tachi. The Chop shop was unfortunately caught in the crossfire and Gabriel and his sister were forced to flee for their lives. Some time during this event, Gabriel's powers would evolve for the first time, keeping him and his sister alive as he guided them deeper into the slums. A few years later and things began turning for the better- Gabriel and his sister were taken in by a lady who ran a crew in Sakanoshita named 'Mama Tsuki'. Gabriel integrated into the crew nicely, his technical expertise allowing him to pull his weight with the crew- doing everything from maintaining vehicles and surveillance systems, to fashioning weapons and armaments.

@Spin The Wheel Oh no they are, its a bit of a complicated form of combat is all, Guns can kill or permanately harm Y.S.G Holders without using Shogun Rounds, which are expsensive but for the sake of the RP, im making avaible because of the Gang Leader's wealth and her connections. The best weapons will be either Energy-Based Weapons, which wont be availible at the start unless you have a good enough explanation, or Y.S.G altered bladed weapons, or a Y.S.G's Soulbinder. There will be alot of Y.S.G holders that could easily best a short-mid range gun fight with just their soul-binders or basical bladed weapons.
