Since Zǐniáng is a magical practioner and has clients who come looking for her magical help, is it possible that Kendra might have heard of her and go to her for advice on her visions and such?

Not really, she was killed during a job interview. I was thinking that her death would be related to the patron, and that she was killed because she read the fine print in a contract, said 'no', and became a threat to that patron.

@Guardian Angel Haruki No it doesn't sound super likely, well okay maybe it does. But I'm not sure Zecariel would kill people, not directly at least. Say she refused the bargain, thinking better than becoming another pawn of the fallen angel and since she had put so much worth on your soul she had her assassinated. Yet again though Grace slipped through Zeca's fingers, even in death so now she plots. How's that sound?

Hmmm.... perhaps Kendra asked him to make some wards and/or protective charms, both for her apartment and for her two roommates. Considering that she is aware of supernatural forces and they are a little more in the dark (Trinity knows Kendra has 'hunches' about things, but is still relatively skeptical, and Aliss is fascinated by superstitious things but is unaware of how real they are) I can see Kendra wanting to make sure her friends stay safe, especially considering the kind of place New Belton is.

Oof. That does sound like something Kendra might do, and also overlaps somewhat with a debt she has: "You've had a dire prophecy about someone, but you don't know how to help them... yet. You owe them a debt."

They both just sound very annoying things for Hush to deal with, CARING about someone and having some random weirdo be like "Praise the lord he will save you"
