If anything, if you were going to do a non-villainous Croc, Hillan's app helps as it establishes Croc is no longer a bad guy. Pretty easy to pivot from there into branching out as an (anti-?)hero.

This was my thought process as well - Hillan's pretty much tee'd up the ball for you to tap in. Already established Croc is at worst an anti-villain in this canon, and also given you pre-existing connection to another character for collabs.

To be fair, I don't want to necessarily derail any plans @Hillan might have for Killer Croc in Roy's story. But it just means that I can do my extra backup plan: Amanda Waller.

Amanda Waller is legitimately a hero... in her own mind. She does what she does to protect the country and mankind. Even if her means are horrible. She's no different than any other anti-hero POV, except she doesn't do the dirty work herself.

I'm off the same opinion. Misunderstood Monster meets suicidal teen to be then scared straight is a solid premise.

Obviously if @Master Bruce was willing to give up Croc long term.

It should be said that every concept would be up for review if it aligns with the rules of the game. This is a slightly different DC Universe than the one in any of the comics, as evidenced by some ideas already established - Superman having been around since the 70's, Static starting off with a pre-existing history with the Titans/YJ that takes place before the current story, Hawkgirl being killed by Despero. There are definite diversions from canon big and small, so having these characters take on different roles in the present than they probably started out with isn't entirely unprecedented. All that we ask is that you try not to reinvent a character from the ground up - the essence of who they are needs to remain.

Killer Croc can reform if he's explicitly already been a villain, Waller can look to atone for her past. That's all fine. Just write a good sheet for it and we're likely to approve it.

I still find it so funny, and such a microcosm of niche community, that Guildfall has a title, capitalized and everything, to signify its impact - lasting impact - on such a small little pocket of people.
