In-Depth Appearance
By all means Ophelia is considered conventionally attractive but her time imprisoned in the camps has left her frame skinny and her skin scarred. Standing at 5'3" Ophelia has reddish brown, shoulder length hair and bright blue eyes. Countless freckles splotch her skin, giving the appearance of a false tan and she has a thin faded scar on her left cheek that slinks downward all the way to her trapezius. There are a couple other visible scars and bruises on her body; notably the more fresher almost bullet hole like scar on her right shoulder blade and the large bruise on her right thigh. She's wearing a very old t-shirt and shorts that have several holes in them, and is barefoot. On her neck is a piece of Hunter technology, an ability suppressant collar, that acts as a way for the Hunters to control her and her powers. Whenever Ophelia uses her abilities in a way that The Hunters don't approve of, she gets a small albeit painful zap that breaks her concentration. However, if she doesn't respond to the first shock, the zaps get significantly more painful.
Who Am I?
Personality
♦ Expressive ♦ Fiery ♦ Tenacious ♦ Distractible ♦
Often being described as "animated", Ophelia has always had rather large emotions and has always been very expressive of those large emotions. Oftentimes, though, it's those big emotions that can land her into some hot water as one of her biggest emotions is her fiery disposition and short fuse which can lead to some literal explosive frustration.
If she had been tested for it, Ophelia would have likely been diagnose with ADHD because along with her struggles with emotional regulation; she is highly distractible. The world is both fascinating and fast paced causing Ophelia to be easily distracted not only by the world around her but in social interactions as well, so she often times misses social cues as well. Despite her distractible nature, she is fairly intelligent as she's constantly taking in several different sources of external information at once, making her more street smart than book smart (save for the topics that really catch her full attention).
But regardless of her flaws, Ophelia at the end of the day is a fighter and is tenacious to a near fault. She will fight for what she believes in whether that's to survive or to protect her loved ones, and is not quick to give up.

✔Warm meals, comfy blanket/clothes, rainy weather, gazing at the stars, running, casual strolls and the feeling of grass underneath her feet. (She's basically a human fireplace haha)
✘Cold weather, prison food, The Hunters, large bodies of water (not because of not being able to use her powers, but because of... sharks), sleeping on the floor.

Abilities and Skills
Ophelia has the power of pyrokinesis, aka the ability to create and manipulate fire; making her a true force to be reckoned with. This ability comes with all the obvious uses such as a source for heat and light, a weapon to create some real damage, and the ability to shape fire to however she sees fit. Her ability does have some drawbacks such as her abilities are very closely tied to her emotions and if she loses control of her emotions (which she often does), she looses control of her flames. She also can't make new flames all willy-nilly; she has to be touching it before she can set it alight. Ophelia can set just about anything burnable alight, from firewood to the dead skin cells on her own body, but she has to be touching it first. Other environmental factors can affect the use of her abilities, for example, she can't use her abilities if her body is submerged in water and her abilities get significantly weaker in temperatures under 32 degrees.
History
Not much is known about Ophelia before her time in the camps. She was born and raised in poverty and on the streets of what used to be Chicago hundreds of years ago. She grew up knowing hunger and a sore body to be a fairly normal thing; a warm meal was a rarity and a safe place to sleep was even more rare. Ophelia was an early bloomer with her power erupting forth at the age of 8 years old when she threw a tantrum over another homeless man stealing the last piece of bread from her tiny hands. Her body grew so hot from her dead skin cells catching fire, that her body was literally smoking, and when she reached out and grabbed the mans oversized t-shirt, it caught fire. The man would end up with only a few mild burns but he ended up running and screaming into the night.
Her parents would try their best to hide their daughter from The Hunters for a solid 5 years by being constantly on the run and never sleeping in the same place twice. But after a handful of serious arson episodes that would later be traced back to her, and Ophelia being just another mouth to feed, her parents up and abandoned her in the dead of night. By the time she had awoken, her parents had gone and in their place was a note that simply read: "I'm sorry, Sunshine. Love Mom and Dad". Ophelia would spend the next 5 or so years surviving by running "errands" for various gangs and mobs. This earned her many connections, the protection of those she worked for, a warm meal, and a somewhat safer, if not more consistent, place to sleep.
Unfortunately, it only took one slip up for her to be captured and brought to a prison camp. Her time on the streets had taught her to keep her head low and fly under the radar in order to prevent her capture, and now it was helping her survive her time during imprisonment. However, she wasn't immune to The Hunter's neglect and abuse. Her emotion outbursts, and literal eruptions by proxy, quickly resulted in her getting a suppressant collar. She tried to resist the shocks but eventually, she begrudgingly learned to listen to the warning zaps before they got more painful; all the while plotting to torch the bastard that invented the damned collars. Ophelia now spends her time waiting idly by while waiting for her chance to make a break for it and escape the hell hole that she's been stuck in for the last better half of a decade.
