There’s so many questions swimming around Willow’s head along with thoughts of her mother and her sisters… How could she not help others in situations like theirs? She keeps her eyes on Rowan’s as he holds her hands to his cheeks and nibbles on her bottom lip as she tries to organize her mind. “I think…” She starts to say as she shifts her weight in her seat.

“I want to save others too.” She says before trying to bravely smile through her nerves, but she still trembles just a bit as she thinks of going back. Will they punish her for escaping? Technically it wasn’t her fault - she’d been kidnapped after all - but the thought still occurs.

Rowan nodded lightly. "I'm going ton consult someone and make sure it's a viable option. If it isn't, we'll still figure out a way to help them, because of what you could possibly tell us. I only want the safest option for you." He smiled lightly and got up before sitting on the couch and opening his arms for her. "We'll get through this. You'll be safe."

Willow watches Rowan as he speaks, looking at him as he sits and opens his arms in a silent invitation. She scoots over and leans her head against his chest as she wraps her arms around his torso with a nod. “I’m just scared that if I go back, I won’t be able to leave… but I also don’t want anyone else to go through what my mom or sisters are possibly going through either.” She wiggles in her nose as she inhales Rowan’s scent deeply to calm her nerves. “If I end up going back to the Beowulfs… please don’t leave me there.” She says this softly.

He gave a soft chuckle and held her close. He pulled her closer and laid back on the couch, letting her lay on top of him. He rubbed her back, pulling the blanket from the back of the couch and draping it over her. "I wouldn't dream of it now that we've grown attached to each other, but I'll call my contacts tomorrow since I have a day off." He rubbed her back more and scented her again before letting them fade. He didnt want her getting over scented of even addicted.

"We haven't addressed this yet, but.. do you know when your heat is next..?"

Willow lets out a tiny squeak of surprise when Rowan moves to let her lay on him and she feels that familiar, fast-paced thump in her chest are her heart reacts. She tries to play it off and just rests her cheek against Rowan’s chest as she listens to his voice reverb through his body. It’s silly, but she smiles when he mentions they’ve grown attached to each other. The happy thought replays in her head as he rubs her back and she lets her eyes close.

His next question catches her off-guard and sends her heart into a rapid beat again as she becomes flustered. She moves her head to rest her chin on Rowan’s chest so she can look at him, her face turning a deep red. “O-oh… Um…” She stammers and bites her lip briefly before continuing. “I-I was on some sort of daily pill at the Beowulf’s but… I wasn’t able to bring it with me, obviously so… um… I don’t know…?”

He nodded lightly and smiled. "Have you ever had one before? Sometimes if you take the pills early on in your life you don't really have them. Which is fine. If the answer is no, then we'll need to prepare." He gave a hum, thinking about how to describe it.

"Your body will feel sensitive. Tingly. Your arousal will spike tremendously. You'll want to be mated, to be taken care of while your body tries to entice an alpha to knot you. You'll be hot, stripping clothes.." He frowned lightly. "Sorry.. That's just what I've known to be described to me."

Willow resumes her lip biting as Rowan talks, her wide eyes watching his lips as he spoke. The more he describes it, the more warmth she feels in her face and she can understand why one might want to strip their clothes if the heat is anything like blushing. She can remember something similar happening when she was younger - that was when she was placed on the medication. “How do we prepare…?” She asks shyly as she’s tempted to bury her face in his shirt.

"I have a room. It's.. technically in the basement, but it's meant for my ruts if I ever have an unexpected one. I think Nori has it equipped for heats though. We can go look at it and see what I need for it if you want." He smiled to her gently. "It doesn't have a lock, so you can't be trapped down there. I promise."

Willow returns Rowan’s smile, grateful that he points out that she won’t be trapped in his basement to ease her anxiety about it all. She does feel a rush of new questions come to mind as what he’s said though. “I think my mom tried to explain it all to me when I was younger, but… she was also bred in captivity so… I won’t know what I would need or anything.” Desperately, she wants to ask what happens if he goes into a rut, but after the brief explanation of what her heat might be like, she feels she’d just get flustered all over again.

“I wonder if there’s a book on it I could read…” She mumbles, putting her cheek against Rowan’s chest again to keep herself from asking all of the curious questions on her mind.

"Oh!" He laughs and stands. He jostles her and puts her over his shoulder like the first time, holding her waist while he moves to his office. He rummages through and then picks a couple books before coming back out to the living room. He drops them onto the couch. He then moved to the kitchen and sets her down in front of the basement door. "I can go down with you or you can explore and I'll sit on the couch so you know its safe."

Willow squeals softly, taken by surprise. She’d given him the benefit of the doubt when he last did this since it was in the middle of the night, but this feels much more purposeful. When he doesn’t set her down, she starts to giggle, not sure what to make of it all. She realizes she can see and probably reach his bum from her position and subconsciously starts to raise her hand to smack it when he finally sets her down again.

She opens the door and peeks down before grabbing Rowan’s hand. “With me please.” She squeaks out - she doesn’t understand why, but it seems scary going down the dark stairs into a dark room alone.

He nods and lets her lead, leaving the door wide open. They came down and it was a large room. It held a wide low to the ground bed that was made. There was a wall of pillows and blankets. The other side had a fridge and a counter. There was two containers on the counter. Toys and lube in one and some basic energy supplement stuff.

"Looks good since she's been here." He let go of her hand and moved to the fridge. It was empty. Good she hadn't left stuff, except water. "So. This is what it is. The pillows and such are for nesting on the bed. This box is to help alleviate the arousal while you have a heat. I'll bring food down here before it happens though you might not eat a lot since you'll kind of be in a heat haze. Any questions?"

“Oh, so not a dungeon!” Maybe Willow has been watching too much television if she’s immediately thinking all basements are dungeons… She follows Rowan shyly, looking around at everything. When he asks if she has any questions, she thinks to herself, Yes, many!, but shakes her head. She’d figure it out on her own, right? Her gaze keeps shifting to the box meant to ‘alleviate arousal’, trying to figure out what the items are without asking. She’s certain that having him explain will be more embarrassing.

Wilow’s hands go up as soon as Rowan reaches out and she grabs his hand in both of hers right as he ruffles her hair, shooting him a look with pursed lips. “You’re going to give me a bald spot.” She says, determined to change the subject instead of acknowledging him. It doesn’t feel right to make him constantly have to explain everything to her.

She looks around again before speaking. “I-I can just figure it out, I’m sure.” She mumbles as her face darkens with blush again.

Rowan gives her another look, eyebrow raised before he shakes his head. He pulls his hand away and goes to the box she had been eyeing earlier. He opens it and starts pulling things out. Four things sat there.

Lube. Two toys, and something that looks.. odd. "The bottles are lube." He points. "These are knotted dildos. Or knotted toys. They are what you use for alleviation. This is a plug, but you won't need it as you won't have a mate." He gestures and steps back. "Touch. Ask. I'd rather you be embarrassed than uninformed."

Willow feels her face heat up as she presses her thighs together, only imagining what they are used for. She’s heard of ‘knotting’ before - frequently brought up by the Beowulfs and their guests - but is only now seeing a visual representation of it. When Rowan steps back and tells her to touch the items, she shakes her head quickly. “N-n-no questions.” She says in an attempt to convince herself more than him at this point.

She doesn’t want to touch the items either, but she quickly throws them back into their box before she grabs Rowan’s hand to lead him back upstairs. Willow is completely flustered - was this something her sisters went through too? Why had no one explained this better to her before now? “Let’s go watch a movie now.”

He grinned as he watched her just put everything away and then drag him up the stairs. "Ah well. How about this?" He clears his throat. "Ruts are alpha equivalent omega heats. Willow barely makes it up the stairs with Rowan in tow when he starts to describe ruts. Fully flushed, she turns around with a squeak and claps both of her hands over his mouth before he can go any further. Since she was a few steps ahead of him, she’s able to reach his face without having to stand on her tiptoes, nearly level with him. His face says it all; he meant to provoke her. She juts her lip out in a pout as she glares at him. “Y-y-you…” She has no idea what to say, just that he needs to stop before steam leaks out of her ears as whistling.

The alpha looks to her more, his eyes darkening just a touch. He raises a hand, gently grabbing one of her and turning his face. He pulls the hands away and then brings one close again. With his eyes on her, he moves and lets his tongue come out and lick at her inner wrist. He tightens his hold if she tries to pull away and presses his teeth against her wrist, letting her feel his fangs clearly.
