@World Traveler Currently crafting my 'Hogwarts acceptance letter #2', so I would like to know this as well. Or rather, I would like to know who would have been in charge with changing the staffing (if the headmaster was changed as well).

I love waking up to so many posts!

I will answer questions about the headmaster in a moment (within the next two to three hours of this post) first have a few things at work I need to do.

That said I am able to inform everyone that what has been kept an 'open secret among those close to the school in Hogsmeade is that the former Headmaster was asked to step down and therefore there will be a new one. Staff would assume that they would first meet them during the morning staff meeting tomorrow (in roleplay)

So for now any notice or signature that would normally have their name would simply have the crest / signature of the school governor.

Please feel free to post more than once at a time. Should you have a conversation I would recommend trying through PM to get a little big of it through so it isn't interjected right away.

That said I am not thinking round robin everyone has their turn as that could be too limiting.

I don't limit the number of posting, but at times if someone is away for the day and they suddenly come back to a wall of text I might post summaries so people can quickly read up on what has happened.

Well that's quite interesting. I didn't know Professor Rose was also the Divination Professor (I poke fun, @Mole, just pointing out that whoopsies).

Will start writing up a post of Mr Kennedy noticing the entrances of Mr Hawes and Ms Rose. Where are you wanting Mr Hawes to have walked over to in the Great Hall as he mutters to himself, @MrSkimobile?

I've also noticed that we have no married characters. Congratulations to all, the students will thus be betting on which Professors will be getting with which Professors. I'm sure a betting pool on whoever is deemed the most lovely and who they will be going with shall happen with great and utter haste. We are fools doing foolish things.

Oh I thought the teachers would be eating at the teacher's table up front, behind the main podium and all that. Which yknow is where Kennedy is at, looking at each of the spots and trying to remember his old teachers and such.

just saying my char would probably take a little semi-absentminded detour for old time's sake, see if those scratches they made on the underside of the table in 3rd year would still be there, that kind of thing. just so you don't imagine him waltzing straight towards the soup bowl or something.

also for those taking notes on such things, i fixed spelling on her bio for her name (Verch) not (Vetch)
and i changed her Animagus. (now you can't tell the difference between her and her familiar...)

is it the Professor laying in the corner watching you.. or her familiar....?????

I suppose Kennedy will just ask Lickspittle or something if the question ever somes up but tbh unless any of the Professors goes out of their way to look into Ministry records I don't think that'll really come up.

That said, I suppose she'll get to have random treats - like dried sausages - from Kennedy so that'll be a funny relationship even if only one side knows it. Lickspittle on the other hand...well, depends how the doggo acts.
