Name: Zacary “Zac” Yoxall
Age: 19
Gender/Pronouns: Male, He/Him
Sexual/Romantic Orientation: Heterosexual
Species: Human
Appearance: Zac has unruly black hair that reaches his neck with crystal blue eyes and an ever-present grin on his face. He stands at about 6’0” and has a toned, lightly muscled build that belied his strength. Normally dressed in a t-shirt of some kind and jeans, he also has a leather apron he wears when he works on his Gummi ship and a pair of steel toe boots he has in place of regular shoes. A pair of goggles usually sits on his forehead to protect his eyes when he works, which can also be equipped with tinted lenses for any welding work he might have to do.
Personality: Despite what’s happened to him over the years, Zac remains upbeat, optimistic, easy-going, and friendly. While he may not seem too intelligent at most times, he’s surprisingly perceptive and second to none when it comes to Gummi ship customization and maintenance. And whenever his experience might be useful, he’s more than happy to let people draw off of it whenever need be. That said, when the chips are down, an entirely new side to Zac comes out, one that’s ready to get the job done.

Backstory: Zac was 16 when he lost his world. Creatures that he later learned were called Heartless had descended on his home when he and his father were in the middle of working on a Gummi ship for a client. He and his father were separated in their attempt to escape and Zac was about to lose his life to the Heartless when something completely unexpected happened; there was a bright flash of light that repelled the Heartless that swarmed around him and forced him to close his eyes. When he reopened them, he was holding what looked like a giant key.
It was long, roughly four feet in length, with a triangular tip and a wide, flat, straight blade, which had notches carved into one side while the other was flat and smooth, similar to a pin tumbler key. The hilt was enclosed in a full, circular guard, and a keychain in the shape of a brass-colored fleur-de-lis. The entire weapon had a brass color, trimmed with silver, and despite how large it was, the weapon (it had to be a weapon, right?) felt almost weightless in Zac’s hands.
He quickly learned that the key seemed to actually deal damage to the Heartless, whereas the tools he and his father had no effect, and he used it to fight his way to the Gummi ship. He tried to wait for his father, but the ground began to crack and shift as everything was pulled toward a giant ball of darkness. With no other options, he took off to parts unknown.
Over the years, Zac traveled far and wide, visiting different worlds. He learned to use his weapon, the Keyblade, more effectively from some friends he made at the first world he found himself at, and even picked up some magic. Most of the places he went to were peaceful. Others were dealing with the same monsters he had encountered on his homeworld, but he would arrive in time to help out. Others, still, were beyond saving.
He learned, he fought, he grew, and now, three years later, he finds himself on approach to a new world, one with an idyllic island amidst a beautiful blue ocean.
Other: He’s aware that he’s an awful cook. He often claims he had burned water before, usually in a tone that made it hard to decide if he was joking or not.
