"Greetings, trainees, and welcome, to your first day with the Bureau of Occult Operations; 'BOO'!" He allowed himself a brief moment to laugh at himself, before continuing.
"As you know, ever since the 'Final Confrontation' in Oklahoma, and the 'Garaka Incursion' in New York, paranormal activity has only grown, both in frequency, and range! While the growing Paranormal Research and Development Center is working hard to better understand this phenomenon, it was not going to be enough to simply know what was happening, but to have a response-" Mention of the PRDC prompted an Image of Winston Zedmoore, posing for a picture in front of a now more developed Center building.
"Lucky for the good people of these United States, we, the surviving Ghostbusters, reluctantly agreed to enter a cooperation agreement with the National Security Organization, for the purpose of training operatives to deal with these paranormal activities." Another image appeared on the screen, of the full team, including the Spengler Family, in the wake of the Garaka Incursion."And thus, the 'Ghostbusters' have gone, 'Ghost-to-Ghost'!" Another moment to laugh at his own joke.
"So, the question is no longer, 'Who ya gonna call?', but 'Are you prepared... To answer it?'." He smiled to the camera, and concluded, "Welcome aboard!"

Welcome to Ghostbusters: Legacy; an rp made to let players have their own ghostbusting adventures, in all new settings, because not everything can be localized to Manhattan Island :P
This one will take place in Western Washington, because that's the locale I'm most familiar with.
The Firehouse is the standard model for base of operations, and the adoption of ranking:
Trainee/"Junior">Inspector(fully trained agent)>Lieutenant>Captain>Assistant Station Master>Station Master (this is limited to an individual firehouse, with higher regional positions being Chief, Marshal and Grand-Marshal, for City, County, and State level respectively).
