The Evig region was ravaged and left on the verge of being completely dominated by the villainous team known as Cipher, the very same team that nearly brought the Orre region to its knees until they were defeated on two separate occasions in that region. They stole Pokemon from trainers, hunted rare Pokemon to near local extinction, and they had such a grip on this region through militaristic force and political influence that other regions could not touch them. Of course, this was all possible through the use of Shadow Pokemon, Pokemon that had their hearts shut and turned into unthinking machines for combat that tore through their enemies with Shadow Moves. It was the end of Evig as the world knew it, except there was a spark.
A resistance was formed, a group of ragtag kids that fought against the system and despite the insurmountable odds inspired others to fight against their usurpers. Lead by the prodigious trainer, Adriane Brand, they waged a war across the region against Cipher exposing the underlying corruption and conspirators that aided Cipher and reclaiming what was stolen by the people of Evig though it was never not without the tragedy of retaliation that brought unimaginable levels of destruction.
The war was won by the rebels: they drove out Cipher and dragged the Cipher regional boss behind bars. Ten years have passed since the end of that war. Within that time Evig rebuilt itself into something bigger, better, more hopeful. For the first time ever, trainers were now free to wander the region without fear of Cipher.
There was something, however, that had been in the works for the last three years: the Evig Pokemon League. Spearheaded by the 'Hero of Evig,' Adriane Brand, it boasts to have the most powerful and most skilled trainers in modern memory. In collaboration, long time friend and war hero Professor Kapoc is giving out Pokedexes and a Pokemon for first time trainers.
Luckily, you are one of those special trainers that had been carefully selected by Professor Kapoc, Adriane Brand, and the rest of the Evig Pokemon League Administration out of hundreds upon hundreds of applicants for one reason or another. You will start off in Grand Glory City and take your first step on your journey.
However, something is stirring; something ancient and long forgotten by time and yet it stands at the epicenter of everything and you are bound by it more than you could have ever imagined.

Hi there! This is my revamp of my Pokemon RP. I wasn't happy with it and with the permission and support of my players decided to give it a hard restart due to my own personal reasons. The mechanics of this RP are borrowed with permission from Platinumskin from his rp Pokemon: Start. While there is an overarching plot to the RP with a lot of moving parts, the spirit of the game is that it is an open world game where you interact the world the way you want to. Just be ready to accept the consequences as well.
I cannot say for certain how many people I will accept for this game. It depends on how much interest there is for the game in general, but when I get a good idea on the amount of players there will be and how many of my players from before will return. However, even if the RP does fill up I am very much open to creating reservations just in case a player drops the game or is asked to leave due to unexplained long periods of inactivity or kicked for gross misconduct.
Ideally, I would like to get at least one post a week from a player and I will do my best to post at least once a week or maybe more if I have the time or energy. We're all busy people so I understand if you can't post for some reason due to life so please tell me when that happens because otherwise I will just assume, depending on the length or repeated amount of times of inactivity, that you aren't that interested and label you as MIA and let someone else take your spot. If there is something that happens on my end that would delay a post, I will let you know.
______________________________________
Use the Character Sheets below to make your character and first Pokémon. The first Pokémon will be given to you by Professor Kapoc. You start with a potion and 500 Pokédollars.
When it comes to making your background, feel free to read the general information and about the individual specific towns in the “Towns of Evig” hider. However, the information I am providing you is far from all information I have. If you have any questions which you want me to answer that you need to create your character in a certain specific way, feel free to ask. Interested in a particular location on the map and want to create a character somehow involved with said location? Want to be acquaintance of or related to a Gym Leader or someone else? Want to be somehow connected to Cipher? Anything like that? Feel free to just PM me, and we can sort any such details out.
Note, however. I am giving you the option of asking, and I will answer. But otherwise, I am intentionally leaving you all with relatively little knowledge. Because, when you start from the starter-town in any of the games, you do not know the locations yourself. If you want to stay true to that, you can just make yourself be from Grand Glory City or you can recently have moved here from some other region. Then, you won't really need to read the General Evig Information or the Towns of Evig folder at all. You can just let me tell you when you get there. Grand Glory City DOES have its own Gym, but I won't tell about it unless you ask, there, too.
Trainer Name
– Note, all NPCs only have first names. Because Pokémon Characters in the games generally only have one name. Except Steven Stone, for some reason.
Appearance: Picture encouraged. Use words in this section to describe little details that an image doesn't cover. Like, height or weight or hidden things. If no such things, skip this field. Age: Remember, you're all to be kids. That's the point of Pokémon. Gender: Male or female. Personality: How the individual is as a person. Trainer Class: Your trainer class. Doesn't have to be an established one. Have fun with it! Hometown: Town and region of origin. Feel free to ask for information to make your decision. Background: Remember, some way or another, you're among the few that Professor Kapoc is providing a Pokédex to. A reason for that would be nice. And, don't go exceedingly dark, alright? This is still Pokémon. Kind of Pokémon you like: Because... why not! Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Secretly wants to be a []? Really good/Terrible at []? Has a phobia for []? Can't stop []-ing to save his or her own life? Will [] in response to []? Random oddities. Feel free to leave this blank for now if you can't think of any right now and fill in over time~ Items: 1x Potion. You'll obtain more over time. Pokédollars: 500p. You'll obtain more over time.
Pokémon Name Appearance: Small picture is encouraged. Use words in this section to describe specific peculiarities, if any. Species: Have this only if it is different from Pokémon Name. Gender: ♂ or ♀. Skip this field if genderless. Feel free to just copy this symbol somewhere appropriate so we know, then this field can be cut. Type: The Pokémon's type. Primary first (left), secondary second (right). Personality: Nature/Mood if you feel like it, but that's not that important in this. Should likely be rather short for the Pokémon. Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Random oddities. For Pokémon, this field is completely optional. Level: Describes how powerful we should expect the Pokémon will be. Your starter will be at 5. Moves: All that the Pokémon learns naturally up until that level plus any special moves taught. Ability: Pokémon ability. Tell it's name and what it does. Held Item: All Pokémon can hold something for some effect. Yupp, all of them. Disregard logic when necessary.
You control one character and your Pokémon. I control the rest of the world. That means I control all NPCs, I control all Wild Pokémon and which ones appear, and I control all random factors that we should expect in a Pokémon World. Of course, I will take a mix of logic, Rule of Cool/Funny and random chance into account when I make these decisions, and may behind the scenes make use of dice to decide an outcome. However, you won't know if I reasoned my way to a solution by logic, rolled dice to decide an outcome or just went “wouldn't it be cool/funny if...”.
I make the decision of how well a strategy works. But if you're fighting a Pokémon of equal power, the superior strategy will definitely win in the end.
Official Pokémon stats will only be used as a reference. One Pokémon having higher attack-stat only means that, in general, that Pokémon is better at doing damage, but it is not determined by numbers. So by all means, go for the Pokémon you personally feel is the coolest of them all even if it has weaker stats, and we'll go from there and make it the best of its kind, capable of destroying the odds. If you can find one, that is.
Naturally, this means any Legendaries will be in a league of their own. Don't expect any normal Pokémon to be able to one-to-one a Legendary, regardless of typing or stats. And, for that matter, don't particularly expect to find Legendaries either. They're Legendary for a reason.
And yes. I will roll a die for every single Pokémon you all encounter, to see if it is a shiny. Don't get your hopes up, though. However, shiny Pokémon will naturally create a legend of their own if seen. It could be possible that rumors of a shiny Pokémon has been circulating around town, and if so, it could be possible for you to seek it out...
Limits on starter Pokémon: 1. Starter must be the lowest evolution of the line. They'll be level 5, you know. 2. No Pokémon that evolve into Pseudo-Legendaries. Because those are exceedingly rare. 3. No Pokémon that do not evolve. Picking one would mean you'd be a lot stronger than the rest to start with. 4. Baby-Pokémon does not count as part of the evolution line unless you pick them. Meaning you can pick a Pikachu if you like. 5. No shinies unless I say you can have a shiny. Unlikely, as I'll roll a die with appropriate chance. 6. No Dragon-types, they're rare too. Pokémon that evolve into dragons, like Swablu or Horsea, are fine. 7. Your starter can have one egg move, a move obtained through breeding.
You will be starting in Grand Glory City. From there, you may group up or split up in whatever order you desire. In every route, there's a total of six different actions that you can do.
1. Find Pokémon. Can be specified what kind of Pokémon is being searched for, and how you search. 2. Train Pokémon. With this command, we can jump ahead in time and skip posting about grinding. 3. Seek trainers. There should be some here and there. Note, some may challenge you instead. 4. Hurry along. Avoids further confrontations and try to get safely to the next destination. 5. Specify. If you specify what you want to do, the GM will take it into account and tell the result. 6. Trigger random event. Force the GM to use his imagination to make a scenario for you.
The GM will then tell you the result of your actions, and roleplay as would logically follow.
Even if travelling in a group, each individual can do their own thing on each route. Just assume you regrouped later. Note that you CAN access these options anywhere, towns and caverns or anywhere, it's just optional.
Note that you CAN explore outside the mapped routes. Just don't expect to find too much unless you're following a lead. But do note, the locations on the map are just the locations known to the general public.
Some battles aren’t exactly integral to the plot. Hence, it makes sense that we can limit the amount of posts those takes us if we want to. It works as follows;
You announce that you want to Quick-Catch a Pokémon or Quick-Fight a trainer. In the case of a trainer, I will announce what Pokémon s/he has. Then, you say what strategies you will use in order to capture the Pokémon / defeat the trainer. I, as the GM, will then consider how effective these strategies will be and then write down a summary of the entire battle and its results, along with eventual damage your Pokémon might suffer from it.
It is important to note that the GM decide if you succeed or not, not you. But this is a speeding-up method to be used when it is unlikely the opposing Pokémon or minor trainer will stand a chance against you. Try quick-catching a Dragonite or quick-fighting an Elite Four and you will suffer. But, anyways, if something unexpected happens or it becomes clear your tactic will not work, I will end my post and give you the chance to change your tactics.
That’s the way of quick-catching/fighting.
The Pokemon available in this region are from gens 1-9 so for Pokemon. If a Pokemon appears in Scarlet and Violet, then we use that moveset. If a Pokemon appears in the gen 4 remakes, we use that moveset. If a Pokemon appears in neither of those games, then we just use the gen 8 moveset of that Pokemon or which ever gen they were last actually in the game.
Pokémon are assumed to know all the moves they'd naturally learn when they reach their level. TMs can be used to teach Pokémon moves they otherwise wouldn't know. TMs do not break. There are skilled Move Tutors that can also be used to teach Pokémon moves, for a price of their choice. When it comes to HM-moves, you don't need to actually know the move if your Pokémon can logically take you on a ride over water on its back. However, to actually know the combat-moves you will require the necessary special TMs.
If what a move does when transitioned into roleplaying format is debatable, we'll reason our way to a reasonable result.
As for Pokémon abilities, they will be taken into account as best a roleplay can allow. This might become a bit hard to interpret depending on the ability but ask the GM and you will be answered. No Guard, however, is banned.
Evolving happens as it does in the games, with the exception of Pokémon that evolve via trading. If a Pokemon that uses a held item to evolve via trading will evolve just by using the item and there is an item called the Link Heart used to evolve Pokemon that could evolve via only trading without held items. There are some Pokemon that can evolve under certain circumstances without a Link Heart, but I'll leave that up to you to figure out.
Shadow Pokemon will be part of the RP and if you ever played Colosseum or Gale of Darkness, you know that you can 'snag' them from people. Shadow Pokemon will only know Shadow Moves, but as they open their 'hearts' they will regain their moves and overwrite the Shadow ones.
Shadow Pokemon cannot level up, they will remain at the level they were caught until they are purified.
During battle, there is a chance for Shadow Pokemon to enter an enraged state known Reverse Mode where they may not follow orders and instead act independently. This will be decided on a dice roll. However, when they are in this state you are able to appeal to them by calling out to them. Should you successfully call out to them, you will open their heart more. The closer they are to purification, the more frequently they will enter a Reverse State.
As stated previously, as Shadow Pokemon open their hearts their original moves return. What is odd about Shadow Pokemon is that they are able to learn moves that they are typically not able to learn or even obtain through breeding.
Dungeons are areas where once you enter you cannot leave once you enter them. There are two kinds of dungeons: story mandatory ones and optional dungeons.
Story mandatory dungeons are dungeons that when completed not only move aspects of the story forward, but unlock new areas to explore or gain access to other things that may be locked off. Once they are completed, every player even if they did not participate in the event will benefit from it.
Optional dungeons are exactly what they sound like. They are side content that can be completely skipped over and may even be completely missed by players. These are ones where you have to go out of your way to find and complete, but the rewards for the characters that participate in them are both immense in tangible, rare rewards and lore.
The League consists of 18 gyms. Almost all of them can be challenged in any order as long a gym leader deems you worthy to accept your challenge. However, they have the right to refuse your challenge, but are required to give challengers the means to prove themselves though there is a single gym leader that requires 17 gym badges before challenging them.
Officially speaking, you must have at least three Pokemon to challenge a gym. However, there are exceptions depending on the battle format.
Gym Leaders have the right to choose the battle format that they prefer. This could mean single battles, double battles, 3v3 (select three Pokemon from your party to battle), 6x6 (your whole team), and so on.
A gym leader's team and strategy will change depending on what level and the amount of gym badges you have when you face them. However, the only constant is that the ace Pokemon of each gym leader will be the same.
Evigian Forms: There are regional forms and evolutions unique to the Evig region.
Runes: Rare items that when given to specific Pokemon empower them. Not much is truly known about runes though in old texts and prose mentions druids and mages crafting these items, but the process is not clear. Mechanically speaking, it's just meant to buff weaker Pokemon in one way or another.
Royal Family: Much like most royal families in the modern era, the Hardrada Family serves more as a cultural figure than a political one. Of course, their wealth is vast and they have their fingers in many different businesses as well. However, no matter how grand the position is they are no different from another trainer within eyes of the Pokemon League.
Nobles: Below the royal family, but more privileged than the rest in general. Many of these families enjoy high status and affluence who have their own companies, unless they were the ones that aligned themselves with Cipher. Those families who sided with Cipher were stripped of their property, wealth, and prestige and specific family members were stripped of their freedom. As with the royal family, prestige, wealth, and status matter very little in Pokemon battles.
Ground Zero: It was once another city before Cipher unleashed their first full on attack that left that entire vicinity of the region unable to support human life. The destruction was so devastating that nothing, but the strongest Pokemon seem to be able to survive this wasteland. It is forbidden to enter Ground Zero without written permission by a high government official. Aside from this, there is very little information that the public has access to.
Faefall Island: There is very little information about the island. As of now there is no possible way of actually getting there due to impossible by air or sea due to unrealistically strong storms and waves that would rip apart any ship or aircraft.
Cipher: The blight of Evig ten-years-ago. They are known for their indiscriminate violence against both humans and Pokemon as well as using Shadow Pokemon, which the process is so horrible that it mentally breaks the Pokemon and turns them into mindless fighting machines. They do not show mercy towards those they deem their enemy, and some have shown willingness to destroy an entire island just to kill one person such was the case in the Orre region. While we have seen the leaders of the Orre branch, such as Evice, Nascour, and even the supposed Grand Master of Cipher, Greevil, there seems to be someone else pulling the strings.
Grand Glory City: One of the newest to have been constructed post-Cipher with a steadily increasing population. It is the home base of the Pokemon League's administration and the lab of Professor Kapoc as well as a Trainer's School, so it is the perfect place to begin as a trainer.
Florasong Town: A town where music permeates the air as much as the flowers do. Florasong is a moderately sized, peaceful place where musicians perform on the streets with many having great hopes to attend its very exclusive music school and in performing in the town's world-renowned opera house. The town is also known for its beautiful park where wild Pokemon can be found among the flowers.
Starbor Village: A village where the treetops scrape the stars, or so they say. The residents of Starbor had made their homes within these towering trees and it is actually a multi-story village constructed by wooden platforms. A village of perfect harmony in nature and technology, where they make use of various alternate power sources to bring electricity to residents. A place that honors that past and the future for a better tomorrow.
Valstille City: A large, old city stationed on top of a hill. It resembles more of a fortress than an actual city due to the towering walls that encompass the border, and it is well known that the region's military is trained here. They are known for their strong sense of competition and hold Pokemon battling tournaments frequently to see who the best is.
Rheinvale Town: Located within a valley, Rheinvale was created during the Great Gold Rush though it has long since been depleted of almost all of its gold. However, it is now home to two distinct crowds: a lively art and culinary scene working out of the once abandoned warehouses and to the jolly miners and researchers digging for fossils, relics, and other valuable items. All are welcome to dig for their own goods and perhaps you may be able to trade with a miner.
Frostford City: A frozen city filled with warm people. Located at the base of a mountain, it is the city of eternal frost where no matter the season, it will always snow. Naturally, this and the surrounding area of the city is the home of many ice-type Pokemon. It is well known for their ice-sculpting competitions and generally is filled with various artisans that are masters of their craft.
King's Cross City: The oldest surviving city within the region. It was once named after the reigning monarch of the region of centuries ago, but his name had been lost to time. One of the most famous landmarks is the Colosseum where vicious events were held once, but now more humane competition and events are what is used for today. It is home to the oldest library within the region as well that is filled with scholars analyzing ancient texts. The city contains the most complete and intact ruins of the first kingdom, studied extensively by archaeologists.
Neon Shore City: A beach city of neon lights that is extremely popular for spring-breakers, party goers, and vacation goers in general as well as the rich and famous. It is home to the Sable Casino and Nigh Club where people can win fabulous prizes in-exchange of coins they won through gambling. Aside from that, it is also known as a place with the most startups within the region. Just, uh, don't get on the wrong side of a certain group of people.
New Valhane City: The reconstructed city after its complete destruction due to Cipher. Long ago in ancient times it was said that the residents of the original city practiced the art of magecraft and runes. Whether or not it is true is entirely another story, but it is known to be a hot-spot for psychic and fairy-type Pokemon. What could be the reason? Who's to say. Still, perhaps there is a grain of truth in these stories.
Evertide City: A coastal city filled with outgoing, trending people and artsy buildings. Evertide is one of the foremost entertainment centers of Evig, teeming with TV stars, athletes, models, and so on. Heck, maybe you can make it big there too. It hosts a very famous surfing competition as well. However, there is a strange tower out in the middle of the sea that is known simply as the Ocean Monument. It is a strange black, spiraling tower that reaches impossible depths for any living being to construct it and no one has been able to figure out how to open it as even dynamite could not even leave a scratch on it.
Nixmire City: If one were to brave the Twisted Woods or the marshlands, they would encounter a city built upon what was once wetlands. Canals line the streets, and it is very common for people to use gondolas or water-type Pokemon to get around. It also has not only the best restaurant in the region, but one of the best in the world.
Fenris City: Located on the sides of the mountains in a strange rock formation that resembles the open maw of a canine Pokemon, it is filled with older veteran trainers who are aching for a battle. However, they are also known for their mountain views from their many hiking trails. They are simple folk in terms of living a calm, peaceful life though they are also known for their battle dome as well though recently it had gotten stale due to the lack of fresh faces.
Ashborne City: A city at the base of an active volcano. It is well known for its many temples that are inhabited by monks who quell the fire in their hearts with meditation and worship. They are also well known for their hot springs, making it a popular resort location. To no one's surprise, it is home to many fire-types. By all rights the volcano should have erupted by now, but for reasons that stump scientists because it has not done so yet.
Nexus City: The largest city in Evig and the capital. Nexus is the most technologically advanced of the cities and is responsible for about 70% of the technology produced in the region. It is a bustling, melting pot of cultures from not just around the region, but from around the world as it is producing an incredible amount of job opportunities. The Evig Pokemon League conference is to be held here and it is also the home base of the Elite 4 and its champion.
Night Cavern City: An unusual city that is located deep in a cavern where the only natural light source comes from crystals that emit light. Originally, this city was created by criminals to hide from the law, but it was repurposed as an actual city once the criminals that inhabited it were all arrested. Night Cavern is considered to be a rival city with Florasong in terms of the growing music scene.
Lacritasia City: The floating city within Evig. The city was built upon strange crystalline bubbles that seem to ignore all weight placed upon them, a strange natural occurrence within the region that defies any explanation scientists have offered though the most widely accepted answer is that, like the stones of Unova's Chargestone Cave, they have a special magnetic field that seems to keep them afloat. Like Starbor, Lacritasia is a multi-level city, but on a far grander scale. It is the second largest city within the region.
Edda City: The city of academia. Most of the best universities in the region are located in Edda City. Edda boasts many beautiful parks and many avenues of entertainment for the residents of the city, but none more beloved than its amphitheater where world class actors and playwrights from all over the globe dream to perform on.
Rubycrest Town: The wild west set to the hue of ruby red sand. It is home to the roughest people within the region and located in one of the most inhospitable parts of the region. There are only two ways to get to this town; riding a Pokemon that can survive the miles on miles of scorching desert sun or a day long trip on the train. For those that are brave enough to not travel by train, they may find great rewards.
When posting, please have a hider detailing your current things and current Pokémon. Also, start out with a name, so that we know what character's post it is. We're stupid, and might need reminders, after all. Having your speech in a different color (that is still bright and readable) also helps. There's a mini-sheet for your Pokémon to have in posts right below this paragraph. Also, feel free to also include current inventory, a link to character sheet, etc. Other than that, write as much in your post as you feel like.
Pokémon Name Small picture encouraged. Have a gender-symbol if appropriate. Species: Have this only if it is different from Pokémon Name. Type: Optional. We probably all know by heart, but could be nice to have. Level: Pokémon's level. Status: Suddenly more important for in-battle. Moves: Optional, for completeness. Ability: Optional. Even more optionally, tell what it does. Held Item: Since it can change from moment to moment.
Stubborn like a Tauros, it would be a fair assessment to say she could be described as a reckless and headstrong individual who acts before she thinks. No challenge bothers her, happily welcoming anything thrown her way with a grin. As such, she isn’t afraid to get down and dirty to get a task done.
An open book, she doesn’t bother to hide her emotions and proudly wears them on her sleeve, showcasing a fiery passion and an optimistic outlook on life, living by the mantra ‘Nothing worth having happens easy’. However, despite her inability to hide her inner thoughts, she still has a few enigmas about her. She has an odd connection and fascination with the occult, exactly why she doesn’t explain or perhaps no one can understand her response.
She also holds an adoration for strong pokemon trainers, having watched Galar league matches since she was a kid, wishing to one day become like them. After all, once she had the strength she would finally get the answer she seemed to be seeking.
Background:
Stephanie grew up for the majority of her life on a farm in Galar with her aunt, uncle and seven cousins, all of them boys, following her parent's disappearance ten years ago. From this young age, she wasn't given much slack from her 'brothers', often finding herself the target of their jokes and teasing due to her being younger and smaller than most of them. This coupled with the menial labour she tended to find herself having to help without on the property. One of the first things she learned was how to pull her weight, the mantra for hard work' drilled into her head constantly by her uncle especially.
As such her childhood mostly consisted of the usual farming life; waking up at dawn and working till dusk. At first she mostly helped out her aunt, much like her younger cousins would due to her smaller size. But as she grew up, eventually growing sick of the taunts and teasing from her older cousins she not only began to help out her uncle with the jobs more reserved for 'the big boys', she began to show an application that exceeded theirs and it wasn't long that she was beginning to outdo them, showing her competitive streak and constant desire for improvement. Though she still had to leave most of the heavier stuff like lifting to her uncle, as she was still a wee little tucker.
Seeing how expensive it would've been to send them all to school, it probably came as no surprise that Steph and her cousins were all homeschooled. It also allowed them to help out more around the property. During this time, she came upon a few books her parents had left behind. Books on the occult and the like, the subject fascinating and drawing her in from such an impressionable age. She had been somewhat close with her parents before their disappearance and every time she brought up the subject, she was quick to be shot down. ‘You’ll learn when you’re older’. As she aged, this response seemed to infuriate the girl.
The carrot her uncle always offered to reward their hard work, both on the farm and with the books, was taking them to the nearby Galar league arena to watch matches unfold. This was where she first got a taste for pokemon battling, the phenomena so different to what she was used to she couldn’t help but fall in love with it at her age. And unlike her cousins, who at first shared her feverish passion on the topic, she didn’t lose this fascination and in fact it only grew. When the opportunity arose to join the Evig league, she was about to embark on her own journey in Galar. She ultimately decided to join the new league, the excitement of being part of such an unknown, new league like this simply too good to pass up!
Kind of Pokémon you like:
Typically more of a fan for the fiery types, but anything strong or cool looking will do. Also ghosts are pretty lit.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other:
Speaks in an odd dialect which others can struggle understanding, especially if it’s the first time hearing it. Loves a thrill She’ll never admit it, but she’s a sucker for the sappy romance novels
Items:
1x Potion

I'm shamelessly reposting this without a single edit yes
@Lunarlord34 You already know she's accepted. Move the Bogan and make sure to include subtitles when she speaks or else she'll give the characters and us psychic damage.
Also I made an addendum to the starter Pokemon rule. You can select one egg move, a move that is obtainable through breeding Pokemon, for your starter.
Edit: Just want to explain something really quickly. I'm letting players who obtained a shiny from the old game keep it as a starter or have a 'shiny token' they can cash in whenever, which is a few of them because the dice gods really like like my players.
‧₊˚- Age: 17 🍮⋅☆- Height: 5'5 ⋆˚- Gender: Nonbinary (T/T, S/H) .☘︎ ݁˖- Appearance: Wears a light blue necklace with ruffles (was too lazy to draw em), headband with cat ears, lots of hairclips (too lazy again.)
‧₊˚✩彡 PERSONALITY ‧₊˚✩彡 Kamilia is a rather collected person who seems apathethic at a first glance, often with a blank face they just go along with orders and can be like talking to a brick wall sometimes. To their friends, Kamilia's whole personality flips— they can be very kind-hearted but also sarcastic. She quite enjoys adventure but is rather reserved about it.
Kamilia is very very spatially aware, perhaps too aware as at times she feels extremely out of place. She is rather imaginative and independant, often straying away to find things, permission or not. They actively seek out pokemon of a certain type, fairy types! They have a thing for cute or beautiful pokemon, and believe that it doesnt matter how strong one is. Kamilia doesnt have a particular preference for others, as long as they dont bother her its okay to her.
Kamilia is truly grateful of everything that goes smoothly in her life, even if she looks unphased. They just wanna live happily when they are still young. They are quite generous with good-intent but sometimes if your not someone she knows Kamilia can be rather insistent that you go away. She likes pokemon and knows a bit about them but never decided to persue being a trainer until now where its her only career option.
₊˚⊹ᰔ BACKSTORY ᰔ⊹˚₊ Kamilia was born into a rather poor family within Galar, named such in hopes of bringing fortune for them. As an only child, expectations were heavy from their parents and Kamilia worked in a pokemon cafe at 9 to wash dishes to afford a school one day. She absolutely hated it however, but she couldnt complain at all as it was the only way she could have an actually fine life. But Kamilia was happy with her family's pet, a Yamper she called Cheesey.
For 2 years, all the same. So routined, always waking early to help her mother work, washing dishes, sweeping floors and chores. It was tiring, but she wanted to be productive and help give Cheesey the best possible life he could. And then after deciding to do favors Kamilia was accepted into a cheap school and got the education she always dreamed of! She was the target of many meaningless jokes and she took it all to seriously but she seemed okay with it to others. Honestly they were devoid of others for too long, they didnt know how to express themself or start talks. The only thing she'd liked was her school's pet rookidee, she was curious on why it never evolved despite being mentioned to be as old as her professor. Thats when she grew interested in learning about pokemon biology and her parents suggested being a researcher herself but she was only interested...never thinking of persuing that, she had her own goals.
Kamilia wasnt the type to question authority, but she felt she was destined for more. The school was nice and she graduated in no time (around 16) yet during this time she grew independant and decided she'd go to a new region, one where nobody would shame her, and to open succesful business. Perhaps meet true friends, perhaps find new pokemon. So for the rest of their stay with their parents they worked harder then ever to afford a flight to Evig and as much as they felt horrible to leave their old yamper behind, once she saved enough she booked a flight.
After arriving Kamilia finally felt free, able to do anything they wanted without constraints. They were fascinated by how strange the region was, nothing they have ever seen with pokemon that werent ever in their textbooks, so many cuties they could catch. Kamilia tried applying for some jobs but all of them denided her and so she decided being a pokemon trainer was the only path available to them. Though their path is not as expected, Kamilia still has their own dreams to start the best bakery Evig has ever seen after all of the inspiring things in it.
˚₊‧꒰აPOKEMON THEY LIKE໒꒱‧₊˚ Kamilia adores cute pokemon and those that'd make good money as merch. Fairy types are her specialty but she can do with every type, except for poison types as they make her uneasy.
˚˖𓍢ִ໋Talents/Quirks/Aspirations˖𓍢ִ໋˚ Kamilia is a fine baker with an eye for style, though they strive to open up a bakery or two they'd have stick with the common route of being the very best trainer. Kamilia sometimes stutters when feeling excited and she enjoys cleaning her pokemon. Kamilia is very open with threatening others, if it is for them to go away or to protect those she likes— but most of them are bluffs. They take a slight interest in examining pokemon.

She enjoys theater, and used to frequent the amphitheatre. Age: 17
Gender: Male
Personality: Level headed is most often used to describe Jason, who usually takes the time to appraise a situation before involving himself. However, he has a strong sense of justice and strong moral compass, likely a side effect of how much time he’s spent studying the knights and warriors of old and he’s been known to get into fights with bullies and thugs regularly. On top of that, he’s a very loyal friend once he has decided to call you such.
Trainer Class: Cave Explorer
Hometown: Petalburg City, Hoenn Region
Background: While Jason is not a native to the Evig Region, nor are his parents, due to their experience with rebuilding areas hit with natural disasters, when Cipher was pushed out of the region, his parents were asked to assist with the rebuilding of the most damaged areas. However, not wanting to disrupt Jason’s day to day, his parents left him with an uncle who also lived in Petalburg until a couple of years ago, when the young man chose to move back in with his parents and make up the lost time he was finishing school. His uncle was a Renaissance Faire worker and, while Jason stayed with him, exposed him to all sorts of things, expanding his already impressive list of interests more, as well as encouraging him to get into martial arts after he got in a series of fights with a well known bully from school.
Attending the Fairs with his uncle, the sword fighting tournaments always caught his interest and when he turned fourteen, he got permission from parents and uncle alike to begin taking part, training with the long sword and shield to compete, on top of his karate and judo classes. What time he didn’t spend in school and practicing his katas and sword fighting he spent exploring the surrounding area. Admittedly, part of why he moved to the Evig Region was because he’d heard that a new league would be starting soon and he wanted to be a part of it, especially since he’d missed his chance to join the Hoenn League. He has a positive opinion of Pokemon Contests thanks to his mom, who was a star Coordinator in her youth and wants her son to see Pokemon beyond just battle partners.
Kind of Pokémon you like: So long as they’re willing to work with him, he likes them, though he does have a preference for Pokemon like Gallade and Hitmonchan.

Evelyn
Description: Evelyn stands at a modest 161cm (or 5'1") tall. Her wardrobe and attire changes near daily when she access to her extensive collection of clothes. Time of year, location and the current trends and fashions also impact what she might be wearing at any given time. However, when on the road or roughing it in the widlerness, she tends to wear less flashy attire and focus a bit more on practicality... But, that's a very limited compromise.
The most notable difference is on what type of shoes she wears. With more urban-oriented footwear when in towns or cities, and more in the category of sneakers or boots when travelling out in the rough. She also carries a white and royal purple waist-bag with her when out travelling. Adiditionally, she seems to favor trends and styles of garments that emphasize or help show off her rather curvaceous figure.
Age: 16 Gender: Female
Personality: Still a youth, Evelyn has many qualities and habits or traits that one might call immature. She's a bit vain - especially where herself, or other attractive people are concerned. She can be very bull-headed and stubborn, often wanting to do or get things done her way, and when that doesn't work out, she can be quite puffy. Litteraly, she puffs her cheeks like a kid. The lass also shows no real interest or patience for things she herself isn't interested in or cares about. She likes to present herself as being calm, collected, refined and elegant... But that's usually just a facade, and when caught doing something embarrassing or failing to keep up this front... She can get very flustered.
This all said, Evelyn's still got some good sides too. She's a hard worker and when she sets a goal, she almost single-mindedly focuses on it until its done. About the things she cares about she can be very passionate and enthusiastic, some would say she 'geeks out' about the things she likes. The girl's generally kind-hearted, even if she tries to hide it, and will always help if she sees someone in need. Be it because of her youth, naivety or otherwise, Eve also displays a great deal of courage and isn't one to back down or be easily intimidated. She does, of course, sometimes come off as a bit haughty, spoiled, pampered and narcissistic.
Evelyn strongly dislikes cruelty, especially against those who can't defend themselves. She also takes pokemon care quite seriously and can be very critical or harsh when she sees someone mistreat, or inccorectly tend, to their own - or others - pokemon (or people). To those who manage to befriend her, they'll quickly learn taht Evelyn is very generous, and can be quite supportive of those she cares about. It's just hard to become sone she cares about, because she seems to care mostly about... Well, Herself. Most the time.
Hometown: Evertide City, Evig region
Background: Born and raised in Evertide City, Evelyn grew up the daughter of a fairly well-off family. From an early age, she admired the many trendy, fashionable and pretty people who walked Evertide, the models, the actresses, the pseudo-celeberities, and the important and popular tourists who came to visit. Surrounded by catwalking models and stylish fashionistas, it should come to no surprise that this had a very heavy and meaningful impact on young Evelyn. If you wanted to be seen, if you wanted to be noticed, then you had to become someone who was worth noticing, someone people couldn't afford to not look at. Thus, she took an early interest in things like fashion, cosmetics, fitness and other similar fields.
While the other kids at her school talked and blabbed about whatever inane things kids at that age talk about, Evelyn was already busy looking up the greatest and most important individuals in 'The Biz'. This, of course, meant that her circle of friends within her own age group and peers were... Limited... To put it mildly. Thankfully, her family owned a pet pokemon, and the girl found solace in caring for and playing with it whenever that nagging feeling of loneliness came creeping. Towards the end of her mandatory time in school, she took part in an exam regarding pokemon. Little did the students know, that this test had been made in order to search for potential candidates for the region's very own pokemon professor.
Unsurprisingly, as Evelyn had spent a great deal of time at home, playing with, learning about and taking care of the family pokemon, she performed very well on the exam. In fact, she performed top of her class.. Whetever this was the result of her hard work, dedication and comitment to pokemon, or her peers lack thereof, was hard to say. But, whatever the case may bem she was - once she'd graduated - approached and invited to come visit the Pokemon Professor, having been told that she'd been chosen as one of the few who would be receving the coveted Pokedex. Outwardly, Evelyn merely flashed a cocky smirk and said something like: 'It's about time my brilliance was recognized.' But on the inside she was jumping, up and down while screaming like a hysterical school girl who'd just seen favorite pop idol walk down the street next to her.
After relaying the good nes to her parents, she was given the go-ahead by them. With that, the young girl was now set on the path... The path to become a pokemon trainer.
Pokemon you like: Evelyn generally falls into the category of people who like and prefer the 'cute' kind of pokemon. Ones like...
Flareon and Glaceon
Furret, Minccino and Cinccino
Buneary and Lopunny
Oshawott, Spheal and Dewgong
Vulpix, Growlithe and Rockruff
Sandshrew, Pikachu, Piplup, Dratini, etc.
Because of her obsession with models, Evelyn puts an oddly large amount of effort and time into things like learning to mimic poses, how to walk, how to make expressions with her face and how to use her eyes to give people certain 'looks'. Yes, she spends actual time doing this. And not like, minutes... We're talking hours here.
Evelyn gets an incredibly guilty conscience if she eats sweets, pastries or anything 'fatty', and will compensate by rigorous and disciplined workouts the next day... Or sometimes shortly after eating the sweets...
Evelyn has, for so long, mimicked the walking patterns of models, that she now does the "Super Model" or "sexy catwalk"-walk unconsciously.
She has a great fear of Grimer. And Muk. And Koffing. And Gloom... And... You see where this is going, right? Stinky and dirty things make her very, very uncomfortable and nervous.
Evelyn is an enormous fan of Elesa from the Unova region, and has all sorts of merch and bits and bobs relating to her. If she ever met Elesa in person, she'd probably faint.
She's really skilled at things like applying make-up, styling her own (or others) hair, color coordination, etc.
Also, while she may appear as a typical vapid valley girl, she's actually both quite clever and observant. You have to be, if you wanna copy people.
Her biggest dream is to become a big, famous name through Evertide, and perhaps even the whole of Evig. After that? It's obviously only a matter of time before she becomes a World-renowned Celeberity! ... But she has to get to that first milestone first.
Items:

Staryu Appearance:
Gender: Unknown
Type: Water
Personality: Staryu is a very chill and mellow pokemon. When not asked or invovled with anything, be it chores or battles, it's perfectly content to just laze around and soak up the sun or float around in a body of water. It has a gentle, calm and quiet disposition. It's very supportive of Evelyn though, as well as very fond of her.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other:
As mentioned, when not doing anythign important, it's perfectly happy to lie around and do nothing, both in or out of water.
Whenever it sees Evelyn do some sort of fitness workout or training her various model-poses, it opts to join in and try to mimic her... As best it can anyway.

Ability: Illuminate - Raises the likelihood of encountering Wild Pokemon.
Valerian is tall for his age, standing at 6’0”. He is a striking young man with a slender, graceful build, and with the regal posture of the prince he was raised to be. His wavy platinum blonde hair is perfectly styled at all times. He has expressive piercing blue eyes.
Though born into royalty, he dresses with modern flair. He likes pastel toned, tailored clothing. He wears a soft pink blazer over a lavender t-shirt, sleek designer jeans, and delicate silver accessories. He accessorizes purposefully, always polished, and always looks ready for a photo shoot at any moment. Even on the road, he refuses to be seen looking anything less than immaculate.
Valerian always smells faintly of rosewater and carries himself with the kind of confidence that can only come from someone born into royalty.
Age: 17 Gender: Male
Personality: Valerian is everything someone would imagine a prince to be. Graceful, charming, and endearingly spoiled. He adores luxury, expects comfort, and occasionally makes a mountain out of a molehill (especially when there’s dirt involved). He can be vain, dramatic, and a little high-maintenance, but never cruel. His royal upbringing taught him poise and diplomacy, and while he sometimes weaponizes his charm to get his way, he is genuinely kind beneath the glamorous exterior.
He may fuss over chipped nails or mismatched aesthetics, but he’ll also go out of his way to help someone who’s hurting, even if it means getting his shoes dirty (the horror, I know!) Though pampered, Valerian is sincere, emotional, and ready to prove there’s more to him than sparkles and status.
Trainer Class: Fairy Prince
Hometown: Lacritasia City, Evig Region
Background: As one of the youngest members of the royal Hardrada family, Valerian was raised in the lap of luxury. Though the Hardrada family no longer rules with political power, they remain beloved cultural icons, sponsors of the arts, fashion, and public appearances, their every move documented by the press. From the moment he could walk and talk, Valerian was not just a child, he was a symbol.
He was trained to be the perfect image of a prince, flawless, composed, and ever gracious. But behind the glitz and glamor, Valerian felt like something was missing. He watched other children, ones who weren’t followed by cameras or styled by professionals, run through the streets with laughter and dirt on their shoes. They had scrapes, messes, freedom. Most of all, they had Pokémon not given to them as gifts, but earned through experience and bonding. Valerian, for all his luxury, envied that.
He always adored Fairy-types, they were beautiful, and magical. Every now and then, he’d sneak into the royal greenhouses at night just to spend time with wild Flabébé and Spritzee. The fairies didn’t ask him to be a perfect prince, only himself.
Valerian was expected to represent the family in galas, charity balls, and televised events. But when Professor Kapoc extended an invitation for young trainers to journey with a Pokédex, Valerian shocked the region by stepping forward himself. Everyone thought it would be a publicity stunt, even his own parents.
Valerian, wrote a letter to Professor Kapoc. In it, he spoke about wanting to learn the world outside of his royal bubble, and about proving that even someone like him could become a true trainer. Professor Kapoc didn’t just accept him, he challenged him. No shortcuts. No special treatment. Just Valerian, a Pokédex, and one Pokémon to start with. And Valerian accepted. He was looking forward to be seen not just as a prince, but as himself.
Kind of Pokémon you like: Fairy types of course! Valerian loves Pokémon that are beautiful, graceful, mystical, or just adorable.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other:
He’s gay! That should come as a shock to no none.
Terrified of Bugs and messes.
Secretly wants to star in an elaborate stage musical.
Dreams of becoming the face of Fairy-type battling—graceful, powerful, and unforgettable.
Will dramatically monologue if wet, dirty, or emotionally overwhelmed.
Can’t cook, but insists on plating everything like it’s a gourmet meal.
Items: 1x Potion. Pokédollars: 500p. Valerian is insulted he isn’t allowed more than this…
Pokémon Name: Aurelia Appearance: Species: Cutiefly Gender: ♀ Type: Bug/Fairy Personality: Aurelia is sweet, gentle, and affectionate, but also surprisingly bold. She is fiercely loyal and has a strange knack for sensing people’s emotions. She’s drawn to warmth, kindness, and confidence, which is why she chose Valerian in the first place. She’s unbothered by his drama and tends to perch on his shoulder just to calm him down.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other:
Will aggressively challenge anything that scares Valerian (like Wurmple).
Loves sweet scents, Valerian’s perfume collection is her playground.
Yes, I am aware I said Valerian is terrified of Bugs…
I am here! And am debating either trying to translate over my Orre esper girl with the one punch bunny a male Buneary from the RP I was once in, or whipping up something else for this.
@Remram Hey, how long ago was Cipher driven out of Orre and Evig in this setting? Just to double-check. (And also, if I import my other OC, her father was working at Orre's Pokemon lab. So could he have been hired in at the Professor's lab perhaps, which is when this OC's father perhaps could have moved his family to Evig? Just to check that potnetial bit as well as I debate things on my end.)
@Remram Aaaand here is an app for you! I ported over my app from the other RP I was in. I usually don't reuse characters, but I think Clarissa here deserves chances to become the very best like no one ever was if nothing else! :P
Ahem, but if her being psychic isn't ok, or any other such things, just let me know! I don't want to trample on any toes or make problems, and can make another character if needed instead! Etc, etc.

Clarissa Ryte
~Hometown/General Theme~
~Inner Self Theme~
Appearance: A slender but maturing girl whose expression is usually presented as stoic in front of others, Clarissa has long light-purple hair and a pair of piercing purple eyes in turn to match. Outside of the public eye she can be found to smile more often around her Buneary and family, her smile can be seen to be generally small but rather distinct looking compared to her ‘usual’ self. She has a braid on the left side of her head that is secured with a purple ribbon, given to her by her grandmother, and generally keeps it on her person at all times. As well. In terms of height she is 5’8”, and her weight is 132 pounds.
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Personality: A person whose psychic powers put a strain on her from a young age, pushing her to learn to control them as well as learn to restrain herself to an extent that has shaped her personally. What became the end result was someone who outwardly enforces a well-trained stoic expression on her face, a true ‘poker face’, who might be mistaken as ‘unfeeling’ in the process. Yet despite rarely showing outward expressions of emotion in a public setting at all, behind closed doors and with loved ones and friends and trusted confidants she is more comfortable letting herself express what she is feeling. Indeed, especially since her powers began developing and she began to train with them Clarissa can be an empathetic and kind person indeed….though this, due to her powers, can be both a good thing as well as a burden that wears on her mentally to boot. Generally she will try to be polite to others, though growing up in Orre she was raised to always keep an eye out on and an ear open to the world around her respectively. This mindset of awareness has been drilled in such that to her it's as natural as breathing air, as well as becoming a personal habit in the vein of drilling herself in trying to maintain a sense of self-restraint.
Beyond this, she does have a general ‘spark’ of curiosity in her that drives her to want to learn about things or look into them. The sort of mindset someone like a field researcher or archaeologist or such might enjoy, or perhaps even befitting of a scientist like her father at that. So despite her ‘strong self-restraint’ in the personal sense, she is more liable to poke her head into something that catches her eye well enough than not depending on the particular situation and case in which something does so. In that vein, getting to be paid and looking into things in her new region of residence is certainly a bonus in her mind.
Trainer Class: Wanderer
Hometown: Pyrite Town, Orre Region
Background: Clarissa Ryte was born to Milo Ryte, a man working at the Pokemon HQ Lab in Orre but whose family lived back in The Under before it was lost, and a mother who had come from Agate Village and met her father in Pyrite Town while visiting to look for different herbs across Orre. Despite living in a version of Pyrite Town that didn’t have CIPHER involved, Clarissa was raised to be aware and wary of the sketchy types and rougher sorts that still definitely called Orre home locally and otherwise. It was a life lived always keeping one eye open, and taking occasional trips to visit her maternal grandmother in Agate Village or paternal grandparents who had moved to Phenac a few times a year. There were also many times she went to watch Colosseum fights and such at Pyrite Colosseum with her mother and/or father, being both a way to get entertainment locally as well as get to see more Pokemon outside of the battles held in Duel Square. On occasion she’d stop by the local fortune teller with her mother, perhaps, or watch TV to see whatever shows were on or whatever the ONBS was saying in the latest news stories.
Living in the Orre Region, she wasn’t exposed to a Pokemon-rich region and most often saw them when it came to watching Pokemon battles or people going about with their own Pokemon. The region itself was, after all, a notable wasteland without much in it to sustain Pokemon save for three curious areas called Pokespots where some ‘native’ pokemon had begun to appear and live in. With her father involved in helping the Pokemon HQ Lab in leading the legal and non-criminal importation of Pokemon to Orre, he would also on infrequent occasions get to go to Gateon Port and bring her back some kind of souvenir or trinkets the ships had picked up from some other far-away region. Beyond this, however, her father was often gone due to work most of the time and her mother was the one who was most at home.
At the age of five, however, a young Clarissa would find herself suddenly struck with what seemed like a debilitating condition that made her collapse in the middle of town as she went shopping with her mother. She kept mumbling about voices in her head and feeling all sorts of things even after she would wake up later, but after getting medically checked up the doctors could not find out what was wrong…until she started talking about things they’d been only ever thinking about and never said aloud. Eventually it would be confirmed that she’d begun to develop psychic powers of some sort, which in turn would lead to an attempt to grasp the situation by her parents as they tried to find out how to assist her. It wasn’t exactly an easy thing to raise a child with actual ESP in a region without so much as a school for such things.
Where the most help would end up coming from, though, would be Clarissa’s grandmother and the peaceful serenity that was Agate Town. With herbs to help the frequent headaches a younger Clarissa would get from her powers, and training to try to restrain and control herself as well as tapping into some old contacts from her trainer days who had such powers to come help, Clarissa’s grandmother would help her and even take her on walks to see the Celibi-honoring Relic Stone the village held so dear. It was also here that something of an event would help spark her curiosity to become a trainer would truly occur, back when a twelve year old Clarissa would suddenly wake up in the middle of the night after yet another day of training with a friend of her grandmother.
Feeling drawn to somewhere, the girl would wander to the Relic Stone and see it letting off little sparks of green light…like fireflies even. Yet she could feel a presence there, flitting about around her. Watching her, even, curious and yet keeping its distance. As the girl reached out to touch the Relic Stone, running a hand gently down it, the presence would suddenly appear behind her. Despite falling to the ground from the sudden spook, the younger girl was shocked to see the legendary pokemon Celebi staring right back at her as it flew lower to the ground to get a better look at her. For a moment, the girl would reach up hesitantly, with the smaller legendary pokemon reaching back to touch her hand in turn, before eventually moving back and disappearing as quickly as it had arrived again in a small flash of light.
Upon telling her grandmother, and her dirty pajamas telling some evidence of the encounter as she wandered back out of the Relic Forest in the early morning hours, it was certainly an event that struck her grandmother as unique. Of it she was told that it was ‘a blessing, a sign that [she was] meant for something great’, though the impression of it all left a sense of wonder in the girl that didn’t seem to fully fade away even as she got older.
Indeed, as she got older, and more of a handle on herself and her powers, Clarissa would become more as she has become by current times. Restrained. Reserved. Putting up a wall and a front to help her create a basis for controlling herself. Etc. It didn’t make her many potential local friends, though, but eventually to try to cheer her up she went with her father and mother to one of his visits to Gateon Port. Supposedly a new shipment of Pokemon had arrived, and he hoped to get her a pokemon of her own to keep her company. Only just having turned fourteen at the time, Clarissa came along with her parents hoping that having a pokemon would help her learn to better express herself. It would also be at this time that Clarissa would, as they walked by the Machine Shop, be struck with the feelings of something that was…suffering. It was in pain. It wanted to live. It felt….alone. All of these were something that felt, even if for a moment, all too familiar to how she’d felt all those years ago.
Without batting an eye the girl darted away down a side alley, her parents in very worried and hot pursuit, only for her to find a Buneary that seemed wounded and starving for food. It was weak, and only getting weaker, and as she took it up into her arms it seemed to look slowly up at her in the process. It was after this that Clarissa’s parents, as they arrived and watched her turn around with this hurt pokemon in her arms, would later look back on as the ‘moment that [they] realized there was some kind of connection she had to this little, injured pokemon from afar’. Clarissa would ask to bring home the little Buneary, after her and her parents raced it get it to a Pokemon Center in time, and then help care for and bring the little Buneary back to health the rest of the way after taking it to the nearest Pokemon Center in a hurry, and would want to bring it home afterward.
From here, it was a year of bonding and growing with her new Buneary that seemed to bring them both out of a ‘funk’ they had each been in. Allowed them to see more of how each other was, coming out of their shells, and ultimately leading to her Buneary getting a nickname from her and entering a Pokeball as she decided she wanted to become a proper Pokemon Trainer. Soon after this, however, Clarissa’s father would find a change in jobs and her parents would move along with her to Grand Glory City in the Evig Region so her father could work a new position he’d been hired on for at a certain Professor’s lab. Plus moving to a generally safer region, one full of many more Pokemon, was something that Clarissa’s parents felt would be healthier for her than reaching adulthood in Orre.
And so they moved to the city, and her father took up work at a different Pokemon lab and began his work there. As for Clarissa, however, it was….still going to be an adjustment. But she had her beloved Buneary with her, and he had his beloved trainer in turn. Fast-forward another year later, and her father would bring her to work one day upon request of his boss. It was here the girl was talked to for a bit by the Professor, before eventually being made the offer to take up a Pokedex and go out into the Evig Region! It was something that would enable the start of her own ambition to become a trainer, it would help her better familiarize herself with her new home, and, well it was an opportunity that she and a certain Buneary could seize with their own two hands! What could go wrong?
Kind of Pokémon you like: Pokemon she can empathize with, or form some sort of bond or connection to. Ones that in perhaps some way can be or are relatable to her and, yet individuals of their own who can grow alongside her and vice-versa of course. That is what matters most in the end for her.
Yet one cannot deny either that she seems drawn more toward little ‘oddities’ of Pokemon as well, whether common ones or uncommon ones alike, with a personality that seem out of the way or are ‘outcasts’ or that can be found in little holes in the wall or cast-out places in a sense. Things like her Buneary that made his way far from home on its own adventure, coming from far away, or a Murkrow or some peculiar ghost type like a Mimikyu that lives out of an abandoned factory in the ramshackle part of town and the shadows. Things like an ancient Pokemon brought back from a fossil from long ago, such as a Lilleep or Kabuto, a mischievous prankster of a personality who enjoys a bit of fun here but for whom such a personality might seem a bit ‘out of place’, or something that lives in the surrounding hills such as an Absol-....w-wait a second here! There might be a pattern!
It might be, in part that is, Clarissa accidentally has a sort of natural penchant for the sort of Pokemon that seem very ‘shady’, ‘cunning’, ‘tough’, and even potentially ‘mafia-like’ in some sense. Perhaps it is her upbringing in Orre and so forth that has shaped her like this, whether consciously or unconsciously, to this end? In any case, it is a neat little ‘quirk’ about her all the same when it comes to the types of Pokemon she likes.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other:
She works to both become stronger herself (as a trainer and psychic and person) and train with her Pokemon to help them become stronger as well. In a sense, doing for her Pokemon what her grandmother and grandmother’s friends did for her. Become better. Learn. Become stronger. Pursue that path forward, and chase the sun over that horizon!
One way or another, she is going to forge her own path forward. Beat gyms? Definitely Collect and find Pokemon? Of course. Something else too, perhaps? She would have to see, but it certainly wasn’t out of the question.
She enjoys spicy types of food generally, though her starting compatriot seems to have something of a greater tolerance for spiciness than herself, though she also has a soft spot for sweets which she prefers to have for special occasions primarily. When one friend of her grandmother sent some peculiar spiced chocolate from Paldea, it was an exciting prospect and she enjoyed it in the end!
In general she isn’t picky about food. A hot meal is a hot meal, and even if she isn’t a glutton she will appreciate it. She also, though, does enjoy trying new foods. She has the basics of cooking down in a general enough sense to survive and subsist at the very least as well.
Items:
1x Potion
Pokédollars: 500p
Sir Lopsalot
Appearance: He also has a notably prominent, and once horrific (long ago), scar going over (vertically) his left eye (luckily the eye itself is ok), but that’s all.
Species: Buneary
Gender: ♂
Type: Normal
Personality:
Nature: Adamant
Characteristic: Alert to Sounds
Sir Lopsalot is quite an adamant and outgoing little bunny, and is a loyal pokemon that will stand his ground even if faced with overwhelming odds for the sake of the things and individuals he cares about. He likewise generally seems to carry a certain sense of pride for a Buneary, even in the face of defeat trying to hold his head up high….though when defeated he does tend to sulk a little bit in frustration or such. In general can usually be relied upon to be generally courteous and polite to others, unless they are not nice to his trainer (or he perceives them as being such or potentially such) in which case he will take issue with them personally. His behavior reminded his trainer of a ‘little knight, like the ones from tales and bedtime stories’, and thus he got his cute little name as a result and seems to take pride in that nickname as well.
At the same time, he is alert to sounds and his trainer’s demeanor and usually keeps an ‘ear open’ as the saying goes. If his trainer is resting he usually wants to be there keeping a watch on their surroundings. Whether this watchman-like behavior is just out of a sense of care and loyalty, or perhaps due to other things that happened in the life of this Buneary before Sir Lopsalot met his trainer, mostly remains a mystery to his trainer as of current times. He also quite enjoys a good meal, especially after a hard-won victory in fighting or after some good training!
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other:
To Become The Strongest! (He Shall Become The One Punch Bunny/One Kick Bunny!)
Sir Lopsalot wishes to become stronger and a very mighty bunny indeed, but also seems to want to see other places and things and pokemon and people as well. It is also a curiosity, in this latter case, that he seems to share with his more reserved trainer in turn.
He enjoys spicy foods and spicy flavors.
He thinks dancing is kind of cool, due to a human stranger he saw on the streets of Gateon Port one day in the past who had really big and weird spherical hair colored like a pokeball for some reason. This remains true, as much as he is embarrassed about liking it or dancing in front of most anyone (but his ‘secret theme’ is tied to this specific quirk).

Ability: Limber - Prevents the Pokemon from becoming paralyzed.
Held Item: (None, at least yet)
Sir Lopsalot was a rather adamant and stubborn bunny back home, the sort who got into little fights here and there and even tried to go on adventures beyond the scope of home. At the same time, after a particularly bad and stormy day its mother failed to come back to the den and disappeared without a trace. While several of its siblings stuck together, Sir Lopsalot included, it eventually came down to the little bunny trying to protect them all as time went on and dangers as well as other wild Pokemon began to close in on where they lived in Sinnoh. Eventually the small band of Buneary moved off to eventually re-settle on route 218 near Canalave City before eventually disbanding and dispersing after being chased by an angry local Floatzel they stumbled across who chased them off all over in different directions before returning to its den.
Ending up in Canalave itself, Sir Lopsalot would eventually scavenge for food and find his way to and onto a strange foreign ship docked in the harbor. A sister ship of the former S.S. Libra, this was a Pokemon-importing ship that was just finishing restocking food for its Pokemon cargo onboard. Said cargo of Pokemon, as it were, were bound to be brought back to the wasteland of the Orre Region, which had rather few native Pokemon at all compared to most everywhere else. It would be here that Sir Lopsalot would sneak his way down and make friends with a small group of Wooper onboard the vessel and end up accidentally stuck on the ship as it left port while he was onboard. It would be a long journey of hiding from crew and trying to sneak food with the help of its new friends, but in the end Sir Lopsalot would make it to Gateon Port proper before being finally discovered trying to sneak some leftovers from the kitchen to his new friends one morning.
Trying to seize or capture the illegal stowaway, the sailors tried to battle it and the little bunny had a scrap with them as it tried to escape. This is where it got its scar. To this end it would at least manage to escape, though, making it into the port town and coming to live there for a few days as it scavenged for food behind the Krabby Club and tried to remain hidden. It was only when a local girl and her parents passed into Gateon Port a few days later that the poor Buneary was finally found, and something about the girl seemed to draw the bunny’s curiosity as she picked it up off the ground. It had been driven away from its little hovel near the Krabby Club by a trainer, only to struggle to find more food to eat and nearly wasting away in a nearby alley behind the local Machine Parts Shop.
Due to being psychic, the girl had felt its emotions and ran to find the poor Buneary with her parents in hot pursuit behind her. Finding the poor thing, the girl took it up in her arms and convinced her parents to help her get it to the nearest Pokemon Center. Even in her arms the Buneary felt something unique about the human girl, and in the ginger care in which she carried him despite her haste, and after it was cared for at the Pokemon Center the girl wanted to take it with her. Take him…home. At first the male Buneary would be mostly quiet and reserved at first, even as the girl brought it food and tried to make it a little bed in her room and everything, all before eventually starting to open up to her more in turn to her. At first it was a happy reaction when she’d come to see him resting in his little sheet-lined box that was his bed, then turned into the bunny following her around, to eventually accepting a nickname of his own as a new name. Bit by bit he began acting once more as he once did back home with his siblings, and she in turn seemed to open back up to him as well. A year later, and with both having grown and changed already since then, Sir Lopsalot would decide to even go into a Pokeball of his own as her Pokemon by the time the girl and her family moved away to the Evig Region.
What adventures would await them? He didn’t know, but he looked forward to it all the same.
~This Adamant Bunny Is Also A Little Bit Secretly Silly!~
@Crusader Lord Zapdos actually had a similar thing where they wanted to play a psychic character too. While I personally have no problems if we have two, I can imagine that maybe it would make the character feel less special. If you two wish to figure that out, please do so.
Also I do apologize to everyone. I am just sorting out some PMs regarding this game. I should be able to pass judgement on some sheets tonight once I am done.

I have no problems at all on my end if both of us are psychics! Would be interesting to see Clarissa react to having another psychic onboard, etc! :O
@ZapdosI'm chill with it if you are! Or, er, if you are not then I can reconsider for sure. No problem. Just wanted to touch base on that.
@CitrusArms While I did accept this before since it was just a small group of friends and I will again, I actually would like to see more details about Stella's backstory fleshed out or if you wish to keep it somewhat a secret from everyone else you can always DM me. Like, just a couple more paragraphs if possible.
@Zarkun Once you make the changes I mentioned to you over discord you can put him in the CS tab.
@Crimson Flame 'Fairy Prince,' I love him. Just a note though nothing major. While this isn't a hometown, the Royal Estate is actually on route 10, between King's Cross and Neon Shore, but I will accept his hometown being Lacritasia City because I can very easily justify it since the royal family would definitely have a very nice home there too.
Approved.
@Xaltwind Time to beat some guys in a Pokemon battle and style on them later.
Approved.
@Crusader Lord You do get some brownie points as the Colosseum series is definitely my favorite spin off. I will PM you some details on how I would like to handle her psychic powers later. My only thing is that you were meant to receive your starter when you get your Pokedex, but I can compromise and say that this is fine as it does seem quite important to your character. As long as you have a starter lol. Also, you forgot your trainer class.
I think there are some workable ideas here, but I think we need to just work on the backstory a bit more. Like she/they is 17 and is somehow a homeowner and a head baker and then gives it all up to travel around Evig? Maybe instead of that, she wants to explore the world and meet more Pokemon and people that will inspire her baking creations while also using this as a chance to gain money to open her own bakery when she/they is finally of age?
@Remram Aaa- sorry if its weird, originally Kamilia was in her 30's (she was an oc for a different rp) and i aged her down to 17 to match so timeline is terrible. Gonna rewrite the backstory and some other stuff.
