Rushing posts never works out in the long run. Its far better to take time to read up on stuff and take the time to ask questions. There is no hurry to get posts in as quickly as possible.

GM Judgement.

If you plan on affecting other peoples Assets in a permanent way, please wait at least 24 hours for a response. That goes for anyone and everyone, but right now it is directed to you Prince of Seraphs. Remember that we have people from all over the world in this RP, I for example am from New Zealand and the post requesting the destruction of the 302 was at 6AM my time, when I am very much asleep and most certainly not checking the Guild.

It is more important for us all to have fun than to push the plot forward before your next moment on the computer.
As for what will happen now...

I will allow the 302 to be destroyed, as it was sent out unfinished and there are consequences for doing that. The Tau'ri really should know better by now.

However, as has been stated, it never entered the atmosphere and so would not crash on the planet. Please edit it to portray such. It will be destroyed in orbit over the planet and if Forsythe feels that the Langford can jump in in time, th epilot may even be saved. I leave that to Forsythe to decide.

On the technology front, Tel'taks are unarmed, except when someone who knows what they're doing straps staff weapons to the bottom, but even that is exceedingly rare. Al'kesh have cloaks, be happy with that.

This I assume is the majority of the ships available to Halion. If he starts pulling any more ships It will most certainly be beyond what a mere Underlord would command, much less elave behind.

The F-302 and derivitaves have small and inefficient hyperdrives, they are good only for short in-system hops. There is a reason they operate from bases and carriers, despite all attempts, they are not interstellar craft.

Can I use gliders to force it into the atmosphere?

Also quick question, the standard F-302 fighter-interceptors don't have hyperdrive. It's the X-302 hyperspace fighter that had a experimental drive. So do the 302s come standard with that now or do we have a small compliment of the X-302s for recon?

No you may not. It is very hard to force any starship anywhere when its objective is to run away, especially such a nimble and small ship. Not only that, but you're launching from the planet (or possibly the Ha'tak) and it is already further away than your forces.

I am assuming that with Asgard technology, giving the 302's a functional but very limited hyperdrive is possible. Sep is the one that first mentioned this in the IC and so it is up to him to make a final decision on that. for the moment, the F-302's the Langford has launched can easily piggyback in the Langfords own Hyperspace window, and that is what they will do until Sep gives us a decision.

should you check the wiki, you'r find out that the X-302 was a prototype for a LONG RANGE hyperspace fighter. The production F-302 has short range hyperdrive in canon:

I'd really appreciate it if people stopped talking down to me. Pointing out every little flaw in everything I do without offering a solution helps absolutely no one.

You could have tried just posting the link and the information civil like: "The wiki says that the F-302 is the productions model of the X-302 and is equipped with short range hyperspace window generator that is capable of intra-system hops." rather than shoving in my face the fact that I didn't do my homework.

I've watched every season of the show and to my knowledge the 302s never utilized the short range hyperdrive except for the prototype when it took the 'about to explode Stargate' to another location. So I was under the impression that because the window was unstable it didn't make it into the next model.

EDIT: Did some repair work on the post, I think it is viable.

We couldn't care less who it was or how much someone has watched. No matter if it is echo, Sep, you or even one of the producers, if we spot blatant errors, we will point them out. Not that we've ever had the chance to talk to the producers. Likewise, if we make blatant lore-wise errors, we expect them to be pointed out to us. We don't do something like that without expecting it in turn. The more numerous and obvious the errors, the likelier the chance of a pointed-out correction being perceived as "talking down". Its a sad truth.

If there's something you're uncertain about, don't hesitate to ask. We're overly fond of looking up stuff. Echo (as well as others) has probably noticed this.

The most important lesson you should take from this is very simple: Patience. If your time is limited to a few hours each day, then it is better to wait an extra day for posting the post. Make note of the things you're unsure about and ask. Either in PM, the OoC or through other means. We often ask about stuff even when we're 95% sure. While in name this RP is casual, the post length is pretty close to advanced. Thus the need for X posts in Y time isn't really there.

I will read it so see shortly.

I am not personally trying to talk down to you, merely make sure what i say has reason behind it. I think Forsythe's comment was partially directed at me too.

However, this unfortunate incident of godmodding has caused no small amount of dislike. When people are riled up they say things in tones of voice that are confrontational.

That being said, you've been willing to fix that, which is why I'm not unhappy. Can we all put it behind us now? We're all friends here.
As Ellri says, patience. If you had merely waited 12 hours a response would've arrived from me and this all would've been avoided.

I never asked not to have my mistakes pointed out to me but there is a way to go about doing these things. The more mistakes someone has made the softer you should tred around the issue. If someone puts up a post that defies several of the preset laws of the universe you don't rub in there faces the fact that they don't know what there doing. You politely suggest a couple of sites that they should read through and give them some pointers on where things have gone wrong. This should be an environment where people are able to talk about errors and feel comfortable conversing about solutions. Whenever I make mistakes here I feel like the entire cast feels the RP would benefit from someone else RPing my character.

There should be a certain amount of give and take not just "Your wrong fix it." Echo and Sep get it but to the rest of you it feels like I am unable to do the slightest thing right.

When you post a post that is basically godmodding, the leniency has a tendency to have gone out the window.

Urban Dictionary said
"God Modding" is in essence when someone’s character has the ability to do practically anything without limits or boundaries. And example is when they simply cannot be harmed by any and all means other RP-ers try.

Everything I did was very well within the boundaries of the universe and the power that Halion has at his disposal, it's not like I killed a main character or crippled the ship. I destroyed a recon craft that I might add was quite a bit less than fully functional and made a handful of mistakes about location tech ability.

If you can only be lenient when everything is going well what does that say about you?

I never asked anyone to let my failings go without question, I just asked for a little bit of kindness, even now when I've apologized for everything I did, fixed all my mistakes as best I could and feel like I'm about to break down you can't even muster a simple "Maybe I was a little harsh". You just keep adding wood to the fire. I'm already dying of smoke inhalation but you need to see me burn to a char before your satisfied.

I do apologize if my post seemed offensive, i am having rather rough time in school and it is spilling over everywhere :( however (and it was directed more at echo ;P) there are sources available that can solve most disputes by canon info. I do not claim to remember every SG episode, but i am with ellri here that one should rather check, ask and wait then act on guesses. It is inviting unnecessary fights from people full of vinegar like me xD

Happens to everyone. Don't worry about it.

If it seems we go up against ya personally, then it is not so. We couldn't care less about the who if there's something we believe is a factual error. And even if you should manage to make us take it personal, we always fail at remaining angry with someone long.

We'll gladly continue to offer you help with figuring things out if you're in doubt, Seraphs (is that an acceptable shortening of your nick?). We love figuring out tricky lore.

I understand Seraph, and I am glad we are all back to our jovial selves.

I just wish I had intervened sooner to prevent some of that feeling. No matter, whats done is done and we can all move on now.
The thing everyone can take away from this is patience. The plot can wait a day if it means avoiding stepping on toes.
