Gabriel steps out from the shadows in the cave, smiling at Magnus and his son. "Why hello there. Magnus, nice to meet you. And my dear son." Gabriel smiles, his natural fearful presence filling the cave. "I came to inform you you have a new brother. Furthermore, I suggest both of you fall back. A certain man has arrived. Jack. In his hunt for my cells, I have no doubt you will be killed." Gabriel delivers his warning casually. It's surprising he even warns Mithias, as this is the first time he's done so.

A chill run up Mithias's spine as he immediately became aware of the presence behind him in the cave. Mithias could never understand how Gabriel did some of things he did, like manifest out of thin air inside a more-or-less sealed cave. But now he was trapped in here with his certainly adversarial master. He turned around, subconsciously pressing his back against the boulder fearfully, with Magnus on the other side. Mithias' numerous sins against his maker weighed heavy on his heart. For so many centuries, Mithais had hated him, been trying to kill him, and had killed many vampires in cold blood along the way. Surely Gabriel knew that he had also just attempted to kill Magnus, yet failed. Was it time to pay the piper?

Once again, death didn't follow, and instead Gabriel spoke to both of them. Mithias relaxed somewhat, but for the first time, seemed contrite. Ammends would be made, but now was not the time. Mithias did not speak of it. Instead, he behaved somewhat unexpectedly, more like an ally, and addressed the current issue. His tone was respectful. "Thank you for your warning, father." Mithias mostly assumed Gabriel had intended to warn Magnus, and only happened to find Mithias here as well. "In falling back, we would live, but the fact remains, this Jack, the scientist I believe I know of, still must be stopped."

Magnus grinned at Mithias's words, he stood up with a grunt and reached to grab a boulder. A few seconds later Magnus sense Gabriel, both of them having powers steeming from psychic origin it didn't shock Magnus..too much. "A pleasure to meet you as well, Gabriel." Magnus replied. He proceeded to grab the boulder from in front of Mithias's chamber and lifted it out of the way, throwing it a few feet down the cave to where it originally stood. "Well, let's get going, shall we?"

"Well, let's roll out. No time to waste." Rhyss said and walked out of the office outside. He shouted orders to the men to get back in the vehicles. Perhaps if Rhyss wasn't so intimidating one of the soldier's would have smarted off to him, but of course if you saw a walking muscle giving you orders you'd think better. Rhyss jumped and grabbed the railing on the back of a armored jeep, waiting on Matt and Miller as well as waiting for the soldier's to fully prepare their vehicles. Matt walked outside shortly after, gear at the ready. He climbed on back of one of the jeep's and checked his gun's to make sure they were loaded. Now they merely had to wait for Miller to call the sniper's into posistion and for him to get ready. Rhyss simply grinned at his plan acting out in his mind. If all went well, every SOLDIER and every vampire that didn't conform to his will would be slaughtered. He knew well enough that he would need Magnus to help him, he also knew ever so slightly they shared the same goals, for the most part.

After things have been set Miller imediately sended out a few snipers to get in position asap, he already had a few waiting but this was just incase shit happens. Then he headed for the helicopter pad where a K80-Kasatka helicopter waited for him. "Let's roll out I would say" Miller told Rhyss and Matt via radio as the helicopter took off, heading to the cave.

Jack sat lazily in his chair, listening to the idiotic commanders below discussing their suicide plan. He had, of course, hacked into their communications network with ease, and the sheer stupidity of this bunch of bafoons was staggering. Truly, it was a good thing that these people were soldiers, because the world would be better off if their genes remained outside of the gene pool. In fact, this entire mission was evolution in action: Death of the Stupidest. He himself transmitted his voice to each of them, believing they might want some guidance. "My friends, Gabriel is there. Anyone who goes will die." Jack pressed another few buttons, and a horrible grating could be heard. "Instead, how about we deal with the problem more efficiently?"
Terebithia's front armor plates slowly slid out of place, powered by massive cogs, as the missile launchers poked their barrels out of the holes. The two turrets were Missile 01 and Missile 02, practically named. Each had eighteen barrels, each containing a rocket, and contained a complex AI to calculate the distance and accuracy of each missile. Jack set in work a pre-programmed function that made the two AI's work together, forming an image of the area designated and spreading out missile impact points so as to cause blanket carnage. In the blink of an eye the two were done, and 36 missile were launched to the area around the brunign wreck of the helicopter, blanket bombing the entire area and almost assuredly wiping out any vampire there.
"My dear fellows, there is a massive floating fortress hovering above your heads, and not a single one of you thought to use it?" Jack sighed, it was typical of these military men to not realize just how great a force science was on the battlefields. "Gabriel will have survived the blast, some of the Oldbloods will have as well. Your men will establish a perimeter and secure the area. Rhyss Blackblade shall form himself with the Shadowstrike team as they enter hostile territory. Rhyss, move to the position that has been sent to your phone, I will soon send my men to join you." With this, Jack called for his team. While his face and voice were still bored, his heart was beating with excitement at the chance of finally capturing the legendary Gabriel.

"My my, you atleast could have waited a bit before you bomb everything to the ground. Snipers aren't cheap you know.. Also they still have a hostage, ok I admit I neither think that Magnus would kill him or anything like that, but now they know that we are coming..." Miller replied via radio, knowing Jack could hear him "Guess we switch to plan B then, I will fly ahead and will provide you with further informations via radio. Now get going we have some work to do!". After he said this he closed the side door of the helicopter and waited until he would arrive at the destination point.
The 'Shadowstrike' squad, only a few men know about it. A small squad consisting of only a few elite soldiers, every single member of the squad efficient and strong like a one-man-army. It took only moments after Jack called them, until Zero and Ghost entered his office. They stoped in front of his desk and saluted him, "Your orders, sir?" Ghost asked with his cold and smoky voice.

Martin walked trough the forest in silence. Without sight or sound, he perceived every shape and color, every ripple in the air. He knew his path and stroled while deep in thought. He knew he was close when he felt his memory of Johnathan, the knight standing over his grave. Martin remembered burying him out of respect, although he didn't realize the meaning at the time. He also remembered the sword, in his memory it had been a large red ceramic blade, surprisingly light and razor sharp.
As he saw it now it was a symbol, one of faith and perseverance. It felt wrong when he picked it up. Martin knew it wasn't meant for the plans that ran trough Martins mind.
But the blade was re-purposed, it was now blessed with the profane purpose of bringing suffering. If it ever had a name, Martin decided to rename it to 'fallen one'.

Martin stood with the Crimson blade in hand, now as light as a feather to him. On his belt hung the vapor machine, he had refilled it with blood. It had long since gone cold, but was still fresh enough, he could still notice the potential energy flow trough when he touched the bag. Now he concentrated on Kilo Point. Hundreds of lives, hundreds of beating hearts.
*da dum* *da dum* *da dum*
Together they formed a weird melody, beckoning Martin.
With a light pace he walked over to the city and into the shadows.

"Just get that perimeter up, I'll handle the thinky stuff." When the Shadowstrike team entered his office, Jack smiled openly, turning off his coms. It had taken long to assemble soldiers capable of taking on Oldbloods, but these could. They were the best of the best. He was planning on pressing SOLDIER to give him Mithias, and maybe Eris, but that was a matter for later.
"Welcome, my experts. Your mission, for the moment, is locating Gabriel and the Oldbloods within the perimiter set up by Miller. I have Project Michealready and loaded. Remember, only Zero may get close to Gabriel. He can read minds, and influence those he gets close to. Ghost, stay back and take shots at range." With these simple instuctions, Jack gestured for the group to leave. They would have access to several vehicles that had been stored on Terebithia, such as smaller hovercraft armed with machine guns and flame throwers.

Mithias nodded at Magnus who then took off. Neither he, nor Magnus were likely to follow Gabriel's advice. Mithias turned in the direction the white-haired vampire had gone and spoke, not certain if Gabriel was still behind him, "Magnus will not cease while SOLDIER still has his friend, and I am afraid I cannot standby either. All my life, I have pursued my enemies relentlessly. Be it you, or SOLDIER... it doesn't matter. I cannot turn my back on justice simply because my own life is in danger." Mithias took a breath and sighed heavily. This might be the last time he'd ever speak to Gabriel, his last chance to say... so many things. For a moment, he didn't want to turn around.

Finally, he did.

Martin stood at the edge of the town center. Not far above him he knew was the floating fortress. He felt the energy pushing the titan aloft in the air.
A force large enough to be mistaken with the divine, but artificial.
Martin slid over to the church at the town center. He stood before it's gates and fell an uneasy shiver. He decided to go around the outside instead and used his new found strengths to climb to the top of the tower. There he sat down next to a gargoyle. It's shape spoke of potential of life, had he read somewhere of vampires animating these creatures to do their bidding? Food for thought.
Food.
That word echoed trough his now vast mind.
He took out one of his last blood bags and stuck his fangs in it. It was cold, but sweet, he could feel life overcome him and energy coursing trough his veins.
Martin felt powerful, for a second he thought he'd sensed the gargoyle move. Maybe. But this was only the cold stuff from a bag, imagine what fresh blood would do to him.

"Only 3 more meters up. Easy jump for a vampire I believe." Martin muttered to himself.

Gabriel smiled, as Jake's blanket carpeting of rockets arrives, shattering rock and tree, as this entire area of the forest is completely wiped out. Flames shoot into the cave from the entrance, however, ignoring the shockwave, Gabriel simply moves a large rock to the opening, pressing it closed before Mithias, flames shooting out from the cracks and covering the walls, the heat increasing to beyond what most humans could handle. Gabriel's skin is set on fire by the blast, and yet the flames don't bother him much as his skin regenerates. Then, as the last of the explosions passes, Gabriel drops the rock, his suit somhow returning to it's former glory nearly instantly, even the small red rose on his chest growing back. "Well, it seems Jack knows I'm here. Have fun, now!" With that, Gabriel disappears.

"I will act in the shadows and strike when they will expect it the least, but I have a question sir. What shall we do with the other old-bloods when we encounter them, sir?" Ghost asked although he already what the answer might be.
Meanwhile Miller was working on his PDA, commanding troops to special positions on the border of the Parameter. They couldn't get out of there without being spotted, soon he would arrive so he can spectate and overlook the whole fight between the Shadowstrike Squad and the old-bloods. Maybe he would also interfere, helping to get Mithias out of there with a rope, getting him onboard the helicopter. For now, he could just wait and spectate...

A shock wave carried on the air, from the direction of where Martin remembered the cave was. If Magnus dies, is there still any point to the slaughter of Kilo Point?
No matter, if something was up he'd know it.
With the blade strapped to his back Martin jumped up and held on to a ledge. He clambered up on the leviathan and took note of the thousand digital eyes of jack, he planned his route. He felt around the hull, looking for a weak spot. There didn't seem to be any.
The low humming of the engines reminded Martin of the ship's weakness, and his target.
He crawled along the bottom of the ship avoiding line of sight from turrets and other gun shaped things that stuck out from everywhere. Designed like a symphony of guns, written by a virtuoso madman.
He made it to the first engine and hung beside it with one arm as he pulled a pair of clipping pliers from his pocket with his other.
With some fidgeting around he made his way into the side of the machine. A thing he'd done a thousand times before. It seemed easier now, without distractions from the side of his psyche.

Mithias ducked and covered as the blasts arrived. He would have been destroyed if he had been caught in that. He peered over his arm once the fire and mayhem subsided. Gabriel was alright, even his bloody flower bloomed anew. In typical godlike-fashion, he vanished. Mithias didn't see how he did it this time. Perhaps his senses had been dulled by his battle with Magnus. It was honestly hard to hate and destroy someone who spared you at every encounter. Granted, this oddly considerate behavior seemed only very recent. So much seemed to be changing lately.

With the cave opened, and the blasts stopped, Mithias moved out. Magnus was already ahead of him somewhere, probably plotting how to rescue that friend of his, Lambda, aka "Zero." Mithias darted through the half-leveled and burning remains of the forest to find his weapons. They were surprisingly unharmed by the firefall of the missiles. His right weapon still bore the blood of Magnus. That would be helpful in convincing SOLDIER of his story once he got back to them. He'd be in so much trouble for losing #709. Mithias broke out in laughter. It was so ironic how "important" a mere machine like that was to them. Sure it was expensive, but it wasn't worth lives. With his newfound knowledge and understanding, the vampire SOLDIER agent made his way back to the city in the darkness of night.

He would either make it back to the city, or run into other SOLDIER members along the way.

Magnus was shifting in and out of cover from the far left side of the crater, that damned flying ship had to be destroyed, it was the biggest obstacle standing in his way. He could hear the faint whir of machinery moving towards the crater, Kilo Point would be left unguarded...or at the very least down to a skeleton crew. Magnus grinned. He headed for the city as quietly as possible, being careful not to make a noticeable trail from his new location. He reached the edge of town in a few minutes and stopped behind one of the trees, a lone SOLDIER was patrolling. For a mere moment he allowed the SOLDIER to view what he percieved to be a vampire attacking him, he swung madly with his sword, to everyone else it looked like he had gone crazy. That was all he needed, Magnus came up behind him, covered his mouth and dug his claw into his back silencing him. Hopefully if there were more they would be as easy as he was to take down. He silently made his way towards the HQ, if he could get to the armory perhaps there would be some heavy artilery he could use to bring down the ship. He reached the door and quietly opened it, he could hear the faint footsteps of two..no..three guards. He quietly slipped down the halls staying in shadows as often as possible. A guard was rounding the corner, he quickly lunged and slit his throat, destroying his windpipe before he could alert the others.

And since he would probably need his strength, he fed. A few short moments later he could feel new strength from the blood coursing through him. He proceeded to move quietly down the halls, killing the two guards in front of the armory door with ease. Magnus straightened his posture and grinned. He noticed it needed a keycard, and then it didn't as he ripped the flimsy steel bolted door off it's hinges and set it aside. Inside were all kinds of weapons imaginable, gundams, snipers, rifles, pistols, you name it it was probably there. In the corner he saw a rocket launcher and a grenade launcher. He grabbed the RPG and slipped it over his head, as well as a couple of rockets for it inside a duffel bag. He grabbed the grenade launcher and a few clips for it as well and crammed it in a seperate duffel. He needed all the firepower he could get to take the beast down, and he'd to be as quick as possible. Surely after the first shot the fortress would open fire on the town just to kill him. He'd just have to hope Saya(lambda's real name) wasn't on it..

He gathered up the gear and exited as quickly as possible. He'd need a vantage point. He spotted a small cliff in the horizon, that was where he would set up.

Rhyss almost broke his PDA at the scientists words, the same Jack who had been pressing him and SOLDIER for him to join his..experiments. He'd refused everytime and wished nothing more than to end him. He hopped off the Jeep and all but ripped the guy out of the front seat, he ordered some men to get on the Jeep and drove off towards the entrance of Magnus's last known location, the co-ordinates Jack had sent him. The machine groaned as he slammed on breaks in front of the cave, nearly throwing the SOLDIERS on the back off. With no SOLDIERs there could be no search, with no search he could confront Magnus on his own. Rhyss wasn't dumb, he knew Magnus would have left to a different location upon capturing Mithias. He got out and motioned for them to follow him, grabbed his staff of his back, and with one precise motion of his wrist the blades came out. He grinned and they stalked into the cave, deeper inside there were indeed a few vampires inside who had escaped the blast, this would make his story a whole lot easier. He snuck up on one and grabbed it from behind, the men with him opened fire and quickly killed them in a ambush. Rhyss turned, vampire in front him as a shield, and cut down the SOLDIER nearest him.

The three remaining men opened fire, only shooting the vampire he was using as a shield. He thrust the vampirs corpse into the guy in front of him and cut him down, the other vampire tried to run but he had tried to do so too late. In a few seconds Rhyss was upon him, a moment after that the man found himself decapitated. Rhyss grinned, but he was un-injured, it would make it difficult to explain a ambush should he be questioned... He issued himself a few cuts with his staff and retracted the blades placing it in it's original posistion beside his shotgun. He strolled out calmly and got on his radio "Nothing more than a few vamps who ambushed us, the men that were with me are dead, I am more or less un-harmed. Nothing inside the cave, could be elsewhere. Spread out and search the area. And you Jack, stand the fuck down and don't blow up anything else unless ordered. We don't need you needlessly killing men. Rhyss, out."

Martin had just pried the armored casing of the side of one of the turbines and was trying to find the right place to hit it. Even bypassing the casing these engines were massive, cutting at the side a bit wouldn't do much. It needed a serious explosion to be broken.

There was a presence he didn't quite recognize, although it was definitely a person he'd met before. It was the trail of destruction, even though quite stealthy, that betrayed who it was. Magnus! The monster was everything Martin needed right now: A distraction, a war machine, an ally, a bazooka!
With a precise throw Martin dropped a sharp slab of steel that he removed, it landed on the ground right in front of Magnus' nose, almost slicing it off.
Martin waved at Magnus looking up. He pointed at the turbine's new weak spot, suggesting an angle and point of impact.
He then quickly started to crawl over to the second engine, he didn't know if Magnus would wait for him to get out of the way. All be it useful, he doubted Magnus would ever be labeled "Reliable".

Magnus jumped ever so slightly as the huge hunk of steel almost cut his face off, he looked up and saw...Martin?! The Crimson Blade?! What in the hell...so..this was who Gabriel turned. Nevertheless Martin was...helping..him? He saw the exposed engine bit and grinned, Magnus quickly ran across the asphalt to get into position on his small cliff. Magnus hoisted the RPG over his shoulder, loaded it, and fired a round directly at the newly exposed engine. Quickly after he noticed a bluish hue coming from discs on the side of the machine, they looked important, so he loaded and fired at it before the other round hit. It'd make a a BIG explosion, so Magnus decided it'd be a good idea to hide behind the rock near him.

After Miller finished planing and giving orders via his PDA, he grabbed his Radio. He wanted to check if there was any sign of life where Jack's rockets hit, although he didn't expect any sign of life from the soldiers he sent there before, but the rulebook demanded a check. Miller opened one of the side doors of the KA-60 Kasatka looking for any sign of life, with a binocular and using his radio.

On the way back to Kilo point, not far from the first cave where Rhyss had slaughtered his crew and the trees still burned from the missile attack, Mithias heard the distinct sounds of a helicopter. Suddenly his slightly damaged communicator went off. It was Miller.

Mithias pressed the button to talk. "This is special agent Varomere responding. Miller, I am under your location. I will light a flare. Over." he waited for any kind of response as he pulled out a flare. It's burned bright pink, different from the orange flames that burned not so far from him.
