Matt caught the ammo pouch and re-loaded his guns, putting the pouch with the remaining clips in his jacket pocket, and holstered the pistols. "If you hadnt've arrived when you did the entire SOLDIER unit would have been devastated." Matt told Miller. "But you are here, so there's that. Atleast you came when you did." Suddenly Matt heard a really loud explosion from the forest, sounded like grenades. Probably a few SOLDIER disposing of a few vampires, so he ignored it. Soon after that someone with a almost psychotic demeanor approched him lugging Lightning along. "Exactly who the hell are you and why are you carrying a unconcious woman around the streets?"Matt told him, then he saw the Blade. Johnathan always carried that thing with him..did he kill Johnathan? No..Impossible.. Matt drew one of his guns and put it to the man's temple "You have exactly two minutes to explain how and why you have that Blade."
Lighting shifted in and out of conciousness, she could feel herself being moved by what she didn't know. Other than that, she had no control currently over waking up or not. All she could do was wait and hope she would be human when she woke up again.
Magnus dug his claws deep into Johnathan's chest, severing a artery leading to his heart. Magnus grinned, then noticed the belt of grenades. Magnus had no time to think, he simply removed his claws from Johnathan and got the hell away from him as quickly as possible, but it wasn't enough. Magnus was caught in the shcokwave and part of the blast, thrown a few feet from the explosion Magnus lie still severely wounded. The blood cloud slowly reaching him. If he could survive long enough without SOLDIER finding him he would live once the vapor reached him. He could hear a group of SOLDIER off in the distance shouting, and gunfire along with vampires shrieking as they fell. "Damn..it..." He was able to moan. He crawled as best he could, using his claws for traction. A few inches from the blood cloud the SOLDIER were mere feet from him, the leader of the group spotted him first calling for the rest to join him.
Magnus pushed up off the ground and stood up holding his abdomen with one of his arms, walking, moreso limping, as quickly as possible towards the vapor. He felt a bullet tear through his shoulder, in his weakend state he was susceptible to pain, and he hurt like hell. He eventually reached the blood cloud, hopefully it would heak him quickly enough. He could feel the blood tingling on his open wounds, he inhaled through his mouth taking in even more of the blood. He began healing more quickly now, the SOLDIER quickly advancing and bullets whirring past. He turned to the SOLDIER and grinned, his eyes once again shining crimson and glowing in the dark of the night. As the last of his severe wounds healed, he rushed for them easily disposing of them in his enraged state. He looked around, seeing everything dead his rage began to subside.
He cricked his neck and walked over to the bloody patch that was once Johnathan, he noticed that gun of his on the ground. While the holy bullets won't effect humans, they could easily kill him. Plus aside from that he could just as well load it with normal shotgun shells. He detached it from the mangled limb that could hardly be considered a arm anymore and held it in his hand. While it had barely survived the explosion, he believed it could still be used. He test fired it however, and it simply fell apart. He cursed under his breath tossing the now scrap metal on the ground. He walked back over to the SOLDIER to search them for anything useful, he found a few grenades and a few flashbangs. Seeing as how Magnus prefers a tactical approach, he assumed these could be useful. He placed a few in one of the grenade belts and slipped it over his shoulder across his chest.
Shortly after he heard a rather large rather loud metallic thud off in the distance near Kilo Point. He walked to the edge of the forest, the holy vapor now gone to investigate. He saw a girl, no, not quite human, off in the distance. He heard no human heartbeat, only machinery. Though, the scent seemed familiar. Could it be?...The human whom he had been friends with many years ago? The only one who accepted him for what he was and understood him? Could it be, Lambda? No...she died many years ago, it couldn't possibly be her. He stepped out of the forest, sticking close to the shadows. He had to find out, he had to get closer..he had to know for sure..
