Magnus roared in rage as the bullet severed a tendon in his arm and shattered his right shoulder blade, not only that Saya was on the attack, and to add fuel to the fire there was now a big ass jet fighter flying above them. Magnus's eyes turned crimson, he fought to keep control, rather than use his hieghtend speed he used what little sanity he had in his enraged state to flee to fight another day. He dashed off the scene, just in time for the blades to miss him, one of the bullets however was lodged in the shoulder of the arm he could no longer move. Within a minute he reached the edge of the city, within several more minutes he was safely deep inside his cave where he couldn't be detected by radar. The rage subsided shortly after he reached the depths of his cave, he almost rarely could control his rage, lucky for him this had been one of those times.

He dug the bullet out of the wound with his claws and tossed it aside. His forces had been all but wiped out, only around 50 had managed to flee to the cave, most of them severely wounded. That did not matter to him, not at all. His main goal had been achieved, Johnathan was dead. Now all that remained was destroying to rest of SOLDIER at the outpost, and saving Saya if at all possible. But first, he would wait and heal, otherwise he wouldn't last 5 seconds with only being able to use one arm.

Matt nodded to Miller as he walked off. Shortly after he began walking to the outpost, he needed to take a head count on those wounded, dead, and alive, and of course restock his ammunition. Should another attack occur, they needed to be prepared.

Lightning slowly came to in the med-bay, she had no idea how she got here or how she was still alive. She looked around slowly and held up, when she did pain tore through her left leg. Damnit, vamp must have wounded me more than I thought.. She decided it be best to lay there for a while longer, obviously things had been taken under control, or she wouldn't be in the med bay.

Martin watched Magnus fire out of there like an incendiary round. Spraying blood like flames around him.
Martin followed the vampire's path trough the forest with little difficulty using his binoculars. Now he knew the location of the vampire's hideout.
He wondered if the SOLDIERs would be able to find that trail. Probably not, but maybe. It would definitely be useful to be the only one.
Martin got up and grabbed his bag and 2 smoke dispensers, one filled with holy water, the other with B+. He'd leave the van here for now, locked and hidden between two trees.
Then he got down from the cliff and walked towards the trail that the wounded vampire had left, planning on ruining that trail.

As Magnus, the last Vampire from the horde which attacked Kilo Point, finally retreated the battle was over. Miller stood up and walked off from the scene, without any words. He went to his troops and gathered them, many soldiers sure lost their live today but thanks to the Tactical Response Unit's Squad, only few vampires made it through, which lowered the amount of fallen soldiers immensly. Upon arriving at his troops Miller got in contact with the HQ, requesting more soldiers, more equipement and weapons. Something was going on here so they agreed to send more units to Kilo Point, they should arrive within the next days.

Matt reached his office, took off his Chakram and propped it beside the door, and sat down in the chair at the desk, it had been a looong day but it was finally over, atleast for now. A SOLDIER had apparently already laid out a report on the desk, nearly a thousand dead, fifty wounded, and no more than a hundred of his group survived. With Miller's group here however they didn't need more re-enforcements, atleast not yet. He laid back in his chair and propped his feet on the desk, the exhaustion of the day slowly overcoming him, shortly after he was asleep.

Meanwhile Magnus was plotting in his cave, while he had a small vampire force left, it wasn't enough to mount another attack. He needed another Old-blood on his side, someone whom he could easily manipulate to his will...but how and where would he find such a vampire?..

The oldblood vampire took off in a blurr. It wouldn't have been impossible for Mithias to react, even given the lag time between his vampire reflexes and the jet interface, however, he did not. The icy feeling in his blood rang like a bell in his memory, recognition hit him from centuries ago. "No. It isn't possible..." He shook his head, and even before his scanners picked up the signal, he redirected his jet toward the source. "Gabriel!"

Flipping on his mic, Mithias broadcast an alert to all of SOLDIER. His voice was louder and more urgent. Hearing a vampire agent, particularly Varomere, in any kind of distress was a bad omen indeed. "This is special agent Varomere. I have Code Onyx at Kilo Point. Repeat. Code Onyx, Kilo Point. Coordinates 187, 947. Evacuate all non-essential personel! Code Onxy..."

Gritting his teeth as the airwaves started blaring in response. Mithias flew closer to his new target, locking on. Inwardly, he wondered if Gabriel had any clue about modern warfare and what this fighterjet could do to him. "This is Nightingale. I am in position to engage target. requesting 'fire-at-will.'"

Magnus had left a trail of footsteps, blood and broken trees in his wake.
The trail went deep into the woods then suddenly on an open spot near a large rock it split in 3 directions.
Every direction lead to a different river, to stop there. Tracking Magnus would prove very difficult.

On the rock sat Martin, taking a break from his efforts.
This should keep the location of the cave a secret for now. Can't let valuable information lose value now can I?

Gabriel smiles, as he sees his son fly out in his little toy plane. What a rebellious boy. He needed a stern hand, Gabriel was sure, but he believed that if he let the child explore the world on his own, he'd eventually get over his daddy issues. It was getting rather silly, but he shouldn't encourage the poor boy. He was simply going through a phase, he'd be done in a few hundred years. Gabriel spoke to Varomere through the speakers. "You should retract that, m'boy. I'm quite wanted, and the higher-ups wouldn't think twice about blanketing this area in bombs. Which would be very effective, were it not for all the poor SOLDIERs who would be caught in the blast." Gabriel walked on, knowing that Vladomere's conscience would prevail. Simply because he disagreed with his son's morality did not mean he couldn't use it. And it didn't hurt to remind the boy of how harmful this morality was to his chances of victory every now and then.
Gabriel approached the man he believed to be in charge. A single guard had the balls to stop him, but Gabriel simply made him shoot himself in the leg. Not fatal, it wouldn't do to start off a diplomatic expedition in such a fashion, but enough to ensure he would not be disturbed. He opened the door, and found the CO of Kilo Point, a man he had heard was called 'Matt' sitting at his desk. Fantastic, negotiations could begin early."Greetings. I'm sure you know who I am. Introductions, as such, are rather meaningless. Now, I would ask to negotiate for the vampiric side of events."

As Miller received the alert Message he was at the command center of Kilo Point, about to make some last preparations for the defense. "You can't be serious, only hours ago I had to fight more than a thousand vampires including an old-blood and now you tell me there is something even worse appearing?! Seriously? Give me a break... Anyway, report your status soon to the HQ and tell me if you need back up, not like it would help against an enemy like this, but you know, rulebook slowdown... Miller out!"

After Miller was finished with the transmition, he went to his troops and soon he detected a special someone he wanted to talk to. He went over to Axel, put his right hand on his shoulder and said with a smile and loud so that the other soldiers of the unit could hear it "Aaaand once more Axel just saved my ass as I was face-to-face with the dead. Putting a bullet... through their condamned body, a bullet... smooth and deadly." Miller made a short pause before he continued "Axel... how many bottles of beer do I owe you now? More than three crates of beer?". The other soldiers laughed at Millers comment, because always when Miller is about to burn himself while playing with fire, its Axel who extinguishes the flame right in time.

Martin ate another candy bar as he strolled trough the woods back to Kilo Point.
There was a warm breeze and he relaxed. Things where looking up.
Progress was being made. A lot of things where learned.
It was a good night.

Axel laughed along with the other soldiers before smiling at Miller. "You're lucky you have someone like me, who takes away his precious time just to save your ass. Sometimes, I swear you're like a child who doesn't care about the rules. But that part of you is cute, so I don't really mind, as long as you live through it.", he says in more of a hushed tone, feeling a bit embarrassed. After he had made the shot at Magnus he thought it was based a lot more on luck than anything else. For some reason, before and after he fired the bullet, he was shaking slightly. Now that it was over, it should be fine, though. Axel was hoping it wouldn't happen again, anyway.

Mithias quickly realized he was already starting off at a serious disadvantage. Not only did his sire recognize him at the controls of the flying warmachine, he had heard the code call and was knowledgeable enough and powerful enough to cast his words over the private SOLDIER network. Additionally, his statement about the SOLDIER HQ being willing to sacrifice half a city of humans just to kill him stopped Mithias cold. Frustration and rage coursed through the vampire's veins like supernatural fire. ... no. SOLDIER wouldn't do that... and yet half of him agreed that in Gabriel's case, they probably should. "No." Mithias shook the thought from his mind. Willingly killing innocents was wrong. His finger half-pressed down on his weapons trigger...

Miller's voice queued up on the speakers. Mithias released the pressure from his trigger finger. Gabriel had already begun walking off with a smirk.

Calling off the code Onyx would have been treason. Mithais replied, "Negative on backup." He did the only thing he could have done to delay a potential blanket-bombing. "Target is moving." He delayed them and floated after Gabriel, able to do nothing but observe.

"Aww, don't be so mean Axel, ain't my fault you're the best sniper among the troops from SOLDIER. That's the reason you got recruited in the ranks of the Tactical Response Unit, only SOLDIERS' finest, y'know" Miller responded to Axel, teasing him a bit. Before Miller walked off to enter the command center he signaled Axel to follow him. Miller needed Axel's opinion on the current situation.

Axel turned a bit red with a 'hmph' to follow in reply to Miller. After that he did as he was told and followed Miller after he had got signalled to.
(Sorry if it seems very short, I didn't really know how to reply. ^^'')

Martin walked into Kilo Point, he knew the way by now and took the long route. Avoiding squads of SOLDIERs that had not yet gone to the Headquarters or the medical bay.
After searching for a while on the spot of his last sighting he saw his target trough a window.
He seemed to be talking to the man with the big gun.
Martin could wait. He positioned himself on the other side of the street. Leaning against a wall, arms crossed.
He could wait.

As both entered the command center Miller turned to Axel and said with a serious face "Ok, enough with that, there is some serious shit going on out there and I need your opinion! Only hours ago we faught off thousands of vampires and saved Kilo Point. We are now about to fortify this outpost and I think you are better suited for creating traps hidden sniping spots in the forest than I am. Also we have another problem, it seemed a special vampire appeared, you can consider him being somewhat like immortal and I want to hear your opinion. You me and the high commanding officers here are the only ones who know about that, why do I tell you such information youmight ask". Miller turned around and went over to the table on the other side of the room to get a coffee. "Thats because I know that you are one I can really trust. Want a coffee?" He asked Axel.

(Thats ok, don't worry ^^)

Axel was shocked by the sudden information he was getting told, but he didn't show that on his appearance. "It would make more sense for someone like me to make decisions on the vantage points for snipers and traps that could be layed out. About the 'special vampire', I think it would honestly be a case where we could be digging our own graves if we charged and battled with him. I'd much rather discover what he's capable of from a distance and then try to get him on our side, if possible. It would definitely change the outcome of this battle. Also, I would like a coffee, thanks." He replied, looking serious all the while.

Martin looked trough the windows as he waited. Trough one of them he saw the guy he figured was in charge of this outfit, until he saw the target engage with big gun man. Suppose I'll refer to him as the boss then. But what do I call the other one then? He was smoking a cigar before wasn't he? Yeah, I'll call him smokes for now.
Hey what are you doing? The Internal Monologue can't just switch from 3rd person to 1st person! You are one to talk you just made it a dialog!

Martin groaned, he had a headache. Better?

Anyways, 'Smokes' was talking to another SOLDIER, blond kid. What caught Martins attention was that they where drinking coffee. He wanted coffee so badly now.
All he had on him were candy bars and blood-bags. And believe me there's no taste more bitter and disgusting as the combination of blood and chocolate.

Miller returned to the table in the middle with two cups of coffee, handing one over to Axel and said "I neither want to mess with this guy and I thought the same, thats why I called you here. Do you think you are able to find out a bit about him while I take care of the defenses and paperwork here? We lost a lot of men and I have to write a letter to their families, if you accept I will try to accompany you as soon as I am finished here. What do you say? Soldier?" Miller looked at Axel, waiting for his response.

Matt immediately woke up nearly falling out of his chair, mostly due to the fact he heard Gabriel's voice. He settled in his chair and stared at him, why the hell was a vampire like him here in Kilo Point? "Gabriel...What brings you here, to Kilo Point of all places? I figured someone of your...stature was in some mansion sipping wine, not casually strolling through a warzone." Matt told him, there was absolutely no way they stood a chance against Gabriel, at least not now. "Exactly what are your terms for these...negotiations Gabriel?"

Gabriel smiled his customary, cold smile. "I wish for you to detain any group that is scheduled to go after Magnus. In return, I will personally convince him to relocate and live to fight another day. This saves you precious men, and saves me an old friend." Gabriel's position shows that he obviously has an ulterior motive here. There is no recorded meeting between him and Magnus, and such an event would most definitely have been recorded. Gabriel does not have a history of protecting vampires, or interfering with SOLDIER at all, although he loves observing combats. Whatever the reason behind this move, Gabriel's face betrays nothing,
