Appearance:
Bio: Not much is known of the one known as Kirk, Knight of Thorns. What is known is that he is a member of a cult known as the Darkwraiths, who use occult magic to drain the humanity from souls to fuel their own ends. However, it is also suggested that Kirk is actually part of a cult known as the Chaos Servants, those who work to appease a being simply known as "The Fair Lady" for power and out of pity. For what reasons for why Kirk does what he does is unknown expect by himself. Generally, he is seen as a dangerous person as he must kill or otherwise harm others for their Humanity. But he does so to ease the suffering of a pitiful creature. Kirk himself does not remember much of his life before, and does not even think that Kirk is his real name, merely a simply one that he can use to identify himself. Ultimately, it does not matter to him. He has his own mission in life now.
During one of his many attempts to invade another world to obtain the humanity of his foes, he Arrives to this strange new land unlike anything he has ever seen before. He attempts and succeeds in killing some, but they do not act like those that exist back in his realm. He soon finds out that he is no longer in the world he once came from, and attempted to flee, but met with failure. Unsure of what was happening to him or what had happened to his world, he now seeks answers, and wishes to return to his world to continue his mission.
For the most part, Kirk has remained fairly peaceful, if also a bit paranoid. Since he arrive he's yet to actually kill anyone, and those who dare try to harm him would soon face a knight clad in steel and spikes, which either scare them off, or he nearly kills them and they flee on their own. He occasionally siphons humanity from others when he can, and so far hasn't died. Despite the general peacefulness of this new world, he has no intention of settling here and only wishes to return to his own. He has traveled far and wide, still searching for answers wherever they are hidden...
Personality: To say that Kirk is a violent person is a bit of a misunderstanding; everything in his world was out to kill him, and he was the one who struck back first. Violence and destruction is his first option because for the majority of his life, it was the only one. Kirk won't refuse help if he can get it, but be aware that he does not trust anyone closely. Everyone is naught but a tool at best, and a fool to trust him at worse. But he has his honor, as strange as it may come, as well as a hidden heart that allows him to help those who needs it most, even at the cost of others. He is a knight above all else; for his lord and master, whoever that may be, he serves with diligence and unquestionable loyalty. Their friends and allies a close second.
Skill list: Kirk is a strong willed person who has survived many years fending off the insanity that comes with being Undead, and thus his willpower is usually strong enough to overcome any force that tries to press on his mind. Kirk is also highly agile for a man in a suit of armor, capable of crossing gaps and narrow ledges like a cat. Kirk is also a fairly perspective individual, capable of seeing things beyond merely what is seen with the eyes. He could spot a hiding place or detect the ulterior motives of others quite easily, so long as they themselves are not skilled in the art of subterfuge.
Combat: Kirk is a skilled sword-and-shield fighter, but also familiar with Two-Handed swords as well. He combines his speed and durability together to become a fearsome foe to many, which he can further augment with various magics. He is capable of stealing humanity from others, which he can than use to heal his body of their physical injuries. He also has access to many powerful Pyromancy magic, such as the Great Chaos Fire Ball and Chaos Storm, as well as a few other spells (Listed below).
Other: Kirk designed his own armor and weapons, and knows how to maintain them. He us not much of a professional metal worker, but he could apply some of his knowledge for others into their equipment or such.
Ability list: As an Undead, Kirk has access to many of their strengths, but also exposed to their weaknesses to, including unforeseen ones that come from entering this strange new realm. For starters, Kirk can rest at locations known as "Bond Fires" that will allow him to restore his health back to normal, as well as serve as his proverbial "Spawn Point". Should he die, he shall be transported back at this previous Spawn point, losing all his accumulated humanity and "Hollowed", that is, he appears as a ghastly zombie instead of a flesh-and-blood human. Despite the resurrection nature of being Undead, Kirk is far from immortal, and has died many times over the course of his life. Additionally, due to changing to this new world, the likelihood of him having a Bond Fire that he could use is slim. He does not know what would happen to him should he die here without meeting one, and he hopes that he can find one soon before his inevitable death.
Kirk has two states of undeath that he could take; his Hollow form makes him appear as a ghastly corpse. In his world, it prevented him from calling upon allies from beyond his world, but also protected him from those who would do him harm. However the longer he stays in this state, the higher the chance that he will lose his sanity and becoming nothing more than a deranged corpse. He also has a Reverse-Hollow form that turns him back to a flesh-and-blood human, which increases his own abilities as well as allows him to summon others to him. However he himself becomes a target for those who would see him dead, from this world and beyond. However, this can only be done at the mystical Bond Fires, as using his humanity itself is not enough. Additionally, he carries a mark known as a Darksign, which allows him to sacrifice his humanity to teleport back to the nearest Bond Fire.
Supernatural: Kirk's Darkhand allows him to siphon "Liquid Humanity" from his foes, which he can use to heal himself. Some have more "Liquid Humanity" than others, though despite the brutality of what he does, using his Darkhand to take Humanity does not actually kill those he targets. In order for Kirk to siphon their humanity, he must make physical contact with whatever is his "Darkhand" at the moment. His Pyromancy Flame is more versatile in combat, as it lights his hand on fire, which he can use to bolster his hand-to-hand by causing those who he punches to be lit ablaze. But there is more to his Pyromancy flame that just that. He has the following spells that he can use when he activates his Pyromancy Flame:
Great Chaos Fireball - Kirk creates a orb of lava in his hand, which he can thrown and create a large flaming explosion. Searing magma is left over for over a minute, which can burn all but the most hardiest of foes, though it will harden on it's own quickly. He can only use this spell Four times before he must recharge his magics at a Bond Fire.
Chaos Storm - Kirk can cause pillars of fire to emerge from the ground and engulf his foes in fire. From those pillars a patch of lava will form to harm those caught in the pillar or try to move through it. He can create Twenty separate Pillars before he must recharge his magic at a Bond Fire.
Poison Mist - A corrupt Pyromancy Spell, nonetheless is powerful on it's own regard. Kirk breaths out a large cloud of poison mist, which will weaken and eventually kill those caught in the cloud. He can cast this spell Three times before he must recharge his magic at a Bond Fire.
Fire Surge - Kirk can create a gout of flame from his hand up to twenty feet from himself. Similar to a traditional Flame Thrower. Kirk can hold the flame for a total of one-hundred seconds until he needs to recharge his magic at a Bond Fire.
Power Within - By feeding off the inner flame within him, Kirk can increase his strength and endurance massively, but will slowly lose health during the duration of his spell.
Undead Rapport - Creating a ball of light in his hand, Kirk can control other undead who see this light for a short while. He can use this spell Seven times before he must recharge his magic at a Bond Fire.
Both of Kirk's Darkhand and Pyromancy Flame requires that he have one empty hand; he cannot be holding onto his shield, sword, or any other object if he wishes to use either one for a hand. Though he can have his Darkhand in one hand and his Pyromancy Flame in the other, he cannot have both hands use the either either the Darkhand or Pyromancy flame.
Other: As an Undead, Kirk also does not require food or sleep to survive. Though resting would help him recover his energy, he requires a Bond Fire or other healing items to recover from wounds. Food themselves doesn't provide him any particular benefits, and he couldn't taste them anyways.
Equipment list:
Combat: Serrated Steel Sword, Spike Shield, Armor of Thorns, his Darkhand and Pyromancy Flame, and lastly a few throwing knives seeped in poison. He also wears two rings, one that allows him move unimpeded on rough terrain, and one that silences his movements.
Clothing: Aside from his loincloth, he also wears a large thick cloak whenever he needs to enter civilizations. The cloak itself merely hides his armor, and does nothing to protect him or others from the thorns on it.
Other: Aside from his weapons, Kirk carries a vial known as an Estus Flask, a potion that heals his body of wounds. He also has what is known as "Liquid Humanity", which is the humanity he takes from mortals. He can use said Humanity to fully restore his health, though they are rare and he looses all of them upon death.
Other stuff: Kirk has found only one Bond Fire that he has accessed, which is located all the way back where he first arrived; in China.
