It should be fine don't worry. I think the main thing about initiators replacing mechanical soldiers is that they are far less expensive. Training Initiators is likely significantly less expensive and than churning out mechanical soldiers. Add to that initiators effectiveness against Gastrea and mecahanical soldiers are basically the equivalent of using a tactical nuke against a building. While effective you have a bunch of cheaper bombs for that job. Of course to make the comparison make more sense these bombs also can be dialed up close to nuke level if necessary lol.

I know I was just give my theory on the in verse reasoning for not making more mechanical soldiers. They don't seem to explain much in the anime, so I'm making some assumptions. There is one thing in the anime that confused the hell out of me. Why aren't the civil security service a mainly government organization instead of it basically consisting of private contractors? They might explain a bit later.

I had the assumption that the government is tight on cash and resources so its easier this way rather than doing it themselves?
And I agree that I think they stopped making mechanical soldiers and started using the cursed children because they are less expensive, easier to train, more powerful and are more easily controlled.

More powerful and easily controlled is a little questionable. However, it is a bit obvious that they would be easier to train and less expensive. I mean, one is, they are natural, not something you gotta have operations on, and second, you just need to train them, not go through any possible rehabilitation with the new equipment.

That assumption would make sense, that the government is tight on cash and resources.

Well, that's an iffy thing. Sure, if they grew up completely with them, from the time they learnt to speak or anything. However, if they were 8 or 9 before becoming an initiator for example, I doubt they would listen.

Yeah I guess, depends how they where brought up I suppose.
I feel a lot would fear normal people though, because of the stigma towards them, and so would do what they say?

PMC's are fairly aggressive when it comes to protecting a contact sadly. haha But yah the President has no problems meeting people...i'll see if i can get her to be going down the stairs or something, which would lead to her running into him, thus taking the resume and them along with her and Marius to greet Hizumi and Nozomi haha. In chess it's best to plan ahead no needs to worry about it. Also poke out information whenever you want. I'm not like murdering the world here. =D explain your plans (obviously not all of them) to the cast and i'm sure they will understand and possibly pitch in their own ideas. haha
