Lily - Fight
A small smile grew on her lips, as he returned the embrace, her tears drying. Why she felt so relieved that he was here, she wouldn't know. It was odd... She was so insecure and.. scared a moment ago, yet with him here, around her, she felt safe. She felt as though nothing could touch her. It... it was a weird thing for her...
"DON'T TRUST HIM."
She closed her eyes, smiling warmly, ignoring the voice in her head and the headache. Suddenly, the ground began to shake under their feet and Lily's eyes shot open. She looked around for the source of the noise but was brought back by Bael's words.
"Don't worry about this, okay? We'll be fine." He told her, his hand moving over her hair gently. He let go of her and rest his hands on her shoulders, shaking her slightly. She was worried about about the ground and the... the aura she felt but she was also worried by Bael. What was wrong?
"And-..." He began but stopped as a thundering roar erupted from a portal, a man stepping out. Lily's eyes grew large at the man, the portal enough to send her whirling. His aura sent waves of pain through her body and it was all she could to just stand in front of Bael.
"Lily." Bael called to her, shaking her again. Wide blue eyes shot to look at Bael, fear evident in them. "This is not your real form, Lily. You've been sealed by a demonic seal which regress your age and memories- that's why it hurts when you try to remember. Still focused? Listen to me, Lily. Pay attention." He continued, his voice low. She was having a hard time focusing on him, the pain almost overbearing now. Seal?
"You will ask the woman with the short hair to remove the seal. Just ask her this- if she questions, tell her I told you to do so. I'm certain she's not as ignorant as we may think." He told her, his tone hushed. Lily's eyes flickered over to the short hair that had saved her before and then back to Bael, but Bael was walking away. She blinked, watching him. Where was he going? Was he going to go face the man by himself?
She reached out, her hand moving toward the back of his coat. Her arm wasn't quite long enough and she missed by inches, her finger inches away.
"Bael..." She said, her voice soft, worried. She felt a dark feeling creep into her heart and tears threatened her again. She didn't want to admit what she felt, she didn't want to see what was happening. Was he... abandoning her?
"Don't worry about this, okay? We'll be fine."
She pulled her hand down to her side, tears falling down her face.
I'll just have to trust him... He said not to worry... It'll be fine... We'll be fine... He'll... be fine.
She watched, watching the man and Bael, staring at Bael. She took in a deep breath, trying to steady herself. She wanted to believe in him, she really did. But part of her knew... Part of her had gotten used to it, being abandoned. Forever the lost little angel, tucked away from everyone, safe in her own company.
"Now, you understand. So, stop pretending."
She put a small smile on her face and whispered softly, "Okay. I'll... miss you." With a shaking breath, she turned and walked back to the school, walking toward her room.
Okay, you win. I'm alone again.
"..."
She entered the dorm building, went to her room and went to her bed, falling down face down. She let out a muffled groan into her bedsheets, releasing her frustration. Why was she always alone? Part of her said he wasn't leaving her, he was just... leaving for a bit. He was still her friend. And part of her felt like he was like everyone else. Pretending to her face, just making her feel better. Just dealing with the poor lonely little angel girl.
Maria - And The War Begins
She listened to the man, surprised at how civil he sounded. For one of Lucifer's men, he was oddly... kind. Something told the short haired witch that this man wasn't as evil as one would think, just in a bad situation. Though, she wasn't one for judging. She simply sighed at his words.
A war... As if I didn't have enough things on my plate, life decides to add a war on top of it.
"All I ask is that you leave this place as quick as you can. I won't let anyone attack you, so please... Just leave my school be." She pleaded with the man, her eyes showing her sincerity. She saw no good way out of this... This war. With all of her being she just wished that she could wish it away and her students could have a peaceful time here. She let out a small chuckle.
Every parent will want to send their kid to Athalia academy...
She sighed and raised a brow at the man's question. Who did he mean? Apophis? She smiled warmly at the man and shook her head. "No one was hurt, of that I assure you. Now, please. Just be on your way." She asked, motioning her hand as if shooing a pesky fly away. She was tired... so tired. She needed a long relaxing bubble bath. Maybe she could call up one of her friends...
