But you said the world was altered so couldn't in this altered world rather then lossing his parents. everyone lived. He just wants to rule the world or watch it burn due to the fact he sees humanity as a plague. He will do what is necessary to stop the plague and reforge a better man or destroy it.

Well, yes the universe is altered, but people's personalities remained the same, or at least close to what it had been given the circumstances. Bruce Wayne's personality is pretty simple. He's a rich man who is willing to give any amount of money and make any personal sacrifice to get revenge on the criminal who killed his parents and all those like him. It doesn't have to be the death of his parents that makes him want revenge on the general population, it could be something else, but I put the restriction of personalities remaining the same/similar on everyone else so I have to do the same for you. The only person who didn't have that restriction was UnseenShade and that was because her character died and had their body inhabited by two people who melded into a new personality, so there was reason behind that one, everyone else, though, had to have a similar personality to their base character.
that means whoever plays this world's incarnation of Bruce Wayne will still be completely against killing, right?

Not necessarily. The personalities have to stay the same given their circumstances, which means if he can give a reason for why he now kills in the history then it will be acceptable as long as the cause is reasonable.

He can be rather impulsive in his decisions during battle and will often act without the consideration of the team if he is sure something will work. When he shoots, he shoots to wound, mostly aiming for the stomach(away from vital organs) or limbs.
Powers: His ability to tap into the speed force, not being affected by his environment or friction when running at speed, superhuman metabolism, molecular control

History: James was born on December, 29th 1832 just outside of Amarillo, Texas. He grew up fatherless, his father was a bandit who had raped James' mother and left her to fend for herself. He grew up on his grandfathers ranch and took on his grandfather as his father figure in absence of an actual father. He learned the ways of ranching as soon as he could be taught, he took to being able to herd horses in faster than the other skills that he was taught. Soon enough, James' mother was ready to look for a stepfather for James and found one soon enough. She hit it off with a deputy in Amarillo, and after a few weeks of getting to know him, brought him back to the ranch to meet the family. James didn't take to the man at first, it was mostly because his genetic father had walked out on him at such an early age. He took to him after 2 weeks or so of actually talking and getting to know him. Soon enough, James and his mother moved in with the man he would soon call 'father'. He returned to his grandfather's farm almost everyday to help out.
After a while, James' mother and stepfather decided to have a baby. James wasn't against the idea and was actually more than glad to have a smaller brother or sister. It turns out that James' mother gave birth to twins, two girls that James would later be taught to protect by his stepfather. The first thing that his stepfather taught him was how to fire a gun, he was adept with the revolvers and pistols of his time, but was still moderate with rifles and shotguns and the such. Things changed though when he was 17. He was helping his grandfather herd some escaped cows during a lightning storm when something would happen that would change his life. He was hit by a bolt of lightning that instead of frying him and killing him, changed his biology and tapped him into the 'speed force'. He felt his speed increase exponentially for the next year. After a few days, he was quicker than any of the horses in his grandfathers ranch, and he could draw his revolvers quicker than anyone in Amarillo. His speed increased until it reached its limit and the second life changing event in his life would happen.
This was many years after he was hit by the bolt of lightning and the America he lived in had changed greatly. A civil war had broken out between the north and the south and James had to choose a side. He had nothing against the slaves that were captured and brought over to America, he actually thought of them more as equals than as lessers. He defected to the North and became a drifter, doing bounty hunting for the Northern army and such. He eventually got involved in a particularly fearsome battle with the South and had to use his power to inform the North of an incoming cavalry force. He went to his limit and disappeared into a flash of light.
When he finished running he was in a completely different timeline. Where ranches and barns once stood, now there were giant metal building and flashing lights everywhere. He was soon brought up to speed by a hero who had time travelled from a date before this time as well and has since then became a hero of this time.

Personality: Joseph despises his Atlantean heritage and rarely uses his powers unless he needs to, Never kills unless absolutely necessary, Although serious and cold he can joke around.
Motives: Joseph wishes to retake Atlantis from Atalan and place someone worthy on the throne.
Powers:
Joseph has access to a quantum field phenomenon called "The Clear". Using the Clear, Joseph can sense the primal emotions of aquatic creatures. The Clear seems to function as a universal consciousness of all sea life, he can communicate or command sea life on the other side of the planet. He can see what they see.
History: The Queen of Atlantis, Atlanna was ambushed on a diplomatic mission by the Atlantean rebel terrorist group known as The Black Mantas, utterly destroying her royal convoy, during the attack she was knocked unconscious and swept away, since the Black Mantas were unable to find her 'body' they abandoned their attempted assassination and she was reported missing.
A day later Atlanna washed up on Amnesty Bay and was rescued by a local lighthouse keeper named Thomas McArthur who kept her safe and allowed her to stay with him until she recovered from her injuries, they grew close together and eventually conceived Joseph. Some time after, the King of Atlantis, Atalan invaded the surface looking for his Queen, he found her with Thomas and demanded Atlanna returned with him to Atlantis. When she refused he had Thomas killed and forced her to come with him, two weeks after Atlanna developed signs of pregnancy, Atalan was overjoyed, unaware the child was not his.
Eight and a half months later Joseph was born, the King was horrified to find the baby boy had blonde hair and had the ability to mentally communicate with sea life, this was because an ancient Atlantean tyrant named Kordax was distinguished by his bright, blond hair and his ability to telepathically communicate with marine life, it was believed that any Atlantean born with blond hair was deformed. Due to this Atlantean superstition, Joseph was passed off as stillborn and raised in secret, the only one who didn't hate him was Atlanna, when Joseph was eighteen she died and with no one to protect him he was thrown into an Atlantean prison under the false identity of a captured Black Manta rebel. After 23 years of hell, having practicing his ability to communicate with sea life on a dolphin he named Fluke in secret, he organised a mass prison break using marine life as a distraction and fled Atlantis, disgusted with its barbaric people.
Joseph spent most his time in fishing communities in Alaska and became a fisher, using his abilities to easily capture fish and lobsters and earned a meager living through it. That is until the Black Manta rebels desperately raided the fishing town, on the run from the Atlantean army, preparing for a fatal last stand. Most of the locals were either killed or evacuated. At first Joseph decided to watch them take each other out, but when the Rebels were clearly losing, he thought what Atalan did to him and his mother and decided he would rather see a fair monarch than a tyrant on the Throne and joined the fight on the Black Mantas' side. With him attacking them, the Atlantean soldiers were wiped out in minutes, grateful for the assistance the Mantas offered him a place. Joseph accepted and joined them, commandeered an abandoned whaling vessel and renamed it the 'Fluke' after the dolphin Joseph used to practice his powers on during his stay in prison.

For most Atlanteans, this means that can breathe underwater, endure the pressures of the deep (among other adaptations), and can only spend a very limited time out of water. He also possesses superhuman levels of strength, speed, endurance and durability, all by-products of his body being adapted to survive unprotected in the tremendous pressures of the ocean depths. Although other Atlanteans possess similar adaptations, Joseph's royal lineage makes him a super-Atlantean as well as super-human, and as such he has greater physical capabilities than a typical Atlantean.
