Personality: Like her pokemon, Alex is fiery. She doesn't tolerate people who annoy her, and is not afraid to make this clear. She doesn't shy away from making a biting comment if she thinks it is necessary which, in her opinion, it usually is. She is the first to make a sarcastic remark, and can have a tendency to take jokes too far. Despite this, Alex is a positive person, and is usually bright and happy. She is quick to anger, but is fiercely loyal to her friends. She is very competitive, and can suffer from jealousy.
History: Alex was born the youngest of a large fairly wealthy family, and only daughter. Her father was a prominent expert on grass- and bug- type pokemon, and Alex's brothers all followed in his footsteps. Alex, however, did not enjoy gardening and didn't like bugs, so much to her father's annoyance, Alex did not try and catch a grass type like her brothers had. When Alex was sixteen, her mother brought home a mysterious egg that a friend gave her. When Alex asked to hatch it and raise it, her father consented, but only if it was a grass- or bug- type. When it hatched to reveal a charmander, her father told her to give it away. Alex refused, and ran away from home in order to protect the fire-lizard, whom she named Ender.

Two years down the line, Alex is still on the road. Ender has grown strong, and a ponyta named Firenze has joined the team. Alex likes fire types, as they match both her hair and her personality. She is determined to raise only fire types, and become the strongest fire-type master ever.
Other: Alex was born in Saffron City, Kanto, and this journey to Kalos is her first time out of the region.

Personality: Nessie is a somewhat shy individual. She often does not talk around those she does not know. At times, she hardly speaks, and prefers the company of her pokemon. She is a serious individual, and can be quite stubborn. She is nice, kind, and caring, and would do anything for someone she cares about. She hates to see pain and suffering. She enjoys the outdoors, and often camps out instead of finding some bed to sleep in.

She is rarely angered, and inspires people to trust her easily. When she talks with someone, she can inspire them to tell her anything, inspire them to laugh, or cry, or motivate them. She can bring out the best in people, if only they take the time to unlock her.

She is a brave individual, and quite determined. She would do anything for her pokemon.

History: Her family were originally from Kanto, starting at Pallet Town. However, her father traveled around a lot, and her mother didn't want to be apart from him. So, when Nessie was two, they began traveling with her father. She met lots of different people, but never made too many friends. They never stayed in one place long enough for Nessie to make friends, and this is perhaps why she does not talk to many people.

When she was ten, her family moved to Johto, and she begged her parents for a pokemon. She begged them to give her the chance to catch one, and raise it. Her parents thought it might be a good idea for their shy, timid and, if truth be told, sickly daughter to have a pokemon. She tried very hard, but was unable to catch a pokemon. She refused her father's help in catching one, and instead sunk into a depression.

It wasn't long before the family had to move again, this time to Unova. Nessie by then had withdrawn into herself, and rarely spoke. One day, a wandering trainer entered the town they were in, and half-starved without any money for a meal, the trainer went begging for someone to help him with his pokemon, to give them a feed.

Nessie's mother was a breeder, and knew how to make pokemon food. Nessie was 12 then, and her mother had been teaching her. Nessie was the only one home, when the trainer stopped and begged her. She stared up at him, and then let him in the house, where she went to making food for the trainers pokemon, and for the trainer himself.

The trainer, grateful, repaid her by giving her a yellow and white stripped pokemon egg. Nessie, thrilled, had thanked the man. She still keeps in contact with this trainer.

She took the time, and the care, to hatch the pokemon egg, and a pichu emerged from the egg. She was thrilled, and by the time she was 16, the pichu had evolved into a Pikachu. She had named the Pikachu "Solias" and she did indeed benefit from having a pokemon.

She talked for a long time with her parents when she turned 16, and they finally allowed her to go on a adventure by herself. She decided to travel to Kalos, and begin her adventure there. She had soon found another pokemon egg, this one yellow and red and orange like flames, and it hatched to a Torchic. Solias and Torchic hit it right off, and Nessie couldn't have been any happier.

Other: Nessie has no set type of pokemon she wishes to train, merely wishing train all pokemon.

The fact that no two people can have the same Pokemon does limit things...

No Legendaries, and do you think people are going to use things like Luvdisc and Unown? Also evolutionary families are the same Pokemon...
