The shimmering assassin was nearly impossible to see in the darkness, even for the trained eyes of the vampires, making ranged weapons a pain. Even if one could decide more less where their assailant was, an exact location couldn't be determined, meaning that almost all ranged gunfire was little more than a hopeful guess and a waste of ammo against a dangerous opponent. Of course, the ammo and Dresden's presence were probably the only things keeping the morale of the remaining vampires in place, faced with an adversary they could not see, and had already wiped out most of the attack squad in mere moments. However, just for the moment, they feared Dresden's wrath more than the invisible assassin. There was a reason other than just the cool sound of it that the assassin in question had taken the name Onikage, Demon Shadow. It was appropriate for one who was merely a shadow in the night, with the claws of a demon.

Onikage had evaded the gunfire aimed at him both by the fearful vampires and Rhyss himself, using cover and camouflage to maximum effect, firing a few explosive shots at the group from different locations, constantly remaining on the move to make it impossible for anyone to get a lock on his location. With the added supporting fire from Axel, the group of vampires was soon reduced to nearly nothing, with both the Oldbloods having evaded death through use of cover and sheer durability. Of course, they had never been the target of the ranged attacks, at least from Onikage. Instead, he needed to prevent them from calling on their allies for assistance, removing the advantage of numbers and allowing him to wipe them out in 1-on-1 combat, as he was quite capable of doing.

Out of the shadows he came, appearing next to the sniper that had been so bold as to interfere with this fight. Of course, to Onikage, Axel's presence was nothing more than an unexpected advantage, and would be fully utilized as such. In order to maximize his efficiency in this encounter, however, the sniper would need a superior weapon to the one he was currently using. Onikage laid a quick hand on Axel's shoulder, gaining his attention and quite possibly giving the poor boy a heart attack, as his emotionless silver helmet seemingly materialized from thin air. "Cover me." With these two, simple words, Onikage once more disappeared into the shadows, leaving Axel with Akuma no Segi, the sniper rifle he himself preferred to use. He would be using a different set of weaponry from this point on, and would have no more need for the massive rifle, but some heavy cover fire would be appreciated, and he knew Axel was a skilled sniper.

Dashing forward, Onikage had already drawn Tenshi no Segi, the invisible blade with a trimolecular edge, capable of cutting through almost any material. Having revealed his location, he moved to ensure that Dresden was in between him and Rhyss at all times, preventing the former SOLDIER elite from taking any further shots without hitting Dresden in the process. Of course, even if he had not done so, the encounter was quick. Onikage had already fully planned the attack, customized to take down the vampire who specialized so greatly in melee weaponry with an uncontrollable fury.
Dresden had regenerated incredibly quickly, his vampiric and werewolf healing factors combining. Most nonlethal hits weren't even sufficient to slow down the hybrid, and even with most of his limbs blown away, it took less than a minute for him to recover from his wounds and charge once more into battle. However, instead of slowing him down, these wounds had made him far more dangerous, as Dresden let out a murderous roar that shook the ground itself. His rage was indeed a fearsome thing, and the fact that a mere human would do so much damage to him was a humiliation he could not bear. All the rage from his previous humiliations, his defeats, the suppressed anger he had held against Rhyss, all of it came boiling to the surface in a boiling tornado of fury.

From Dresden's fingers extended long black claws, as the cracking of bone echoes through the clearing. His spine extends, bone ripping through skin that rapidly grows back to cover it. With a horrendous cracking and ripping, Dresden's already towering bulk increases as his eyes shine bright red, his teeth elongating to form the maw of a werewolf, although there were some differences. Dresden, with all his transformation, lacked the thick coat of fur of a Werewolf, instead carrying small tufts of fur on his back and otherwise being naked. Furthermore, his snout hadn't elongated to any large extent, instead remaining a mouth, forming a rather strange image, and yet terrifying from the sheer power of the muscles rippling under the thick hide.

Unleashing a howl of fury upwards, the werewolf that was once Dresden stares down the assassin that had dared come out of hiding, in it's arrogance, ready to rip it to tiny pieces with his claws. He leaps forward, his allied Alpha Pack running by his side into battle, howling in answer to their master's call. Ripping through the night as a tide of furious claws and teeth, fighting as if they were one, a force that had righteously made Dresden one of the most feared Oldbloods known to the world. Using this power, he had even bested Magnus, nearly ripping his sire to pieces.
Onikage looked up at the charge of the Hybrid Beast and his Alpha Pack. He grabbed a small metallic ball from his belt. A simple press of a button sent two of the small yet heavy metal balls flying sideways, where they embedded themselves into the ground, Onikage stood calmly as Dresden charged forward, and in that second which it took for Dresden to reach him, the Demon Shadow threw the last orb into the air, where it gleamed, Dresden himself revealing the trap. Onikage was done taking down the small fries, and the two Oldbloods had become his main targets.

As Dresden ran, his outstretched finger was sliced in half. Carried by the momentum of his own attack, Dresden's entire body was thrown forward with too much force to halt mid-run, right into the net of silicon blade-wire that had been prepared. The tiny, infinitely sharp threads of the net cut through flesh and bone, as Dresden briefly screeched out in pain, his entire body being separated into even-sized chunks, before both his lungs and his brain had been sliced to pieces, too much damage for any form of regeneration to bring it back. The Oldblood lay dead.

"One more name to add to my collection." The Demon Shadow looked up at Rhyss, as the orb that projected the net falls into his right hand. With a simple press of a button, the two other orbs come shootsing towards it, the net being reeled in like a fishing rod, forming once more the small, harmless-looked clump of metallic orbs. One target had been eliminated. One target remained.
Ural bared his teeth at the insolent vampire that had dared interrupt this conversation with petty phone calls. However, the poison was still in his system, and it had started making him dizzy. "If I die, rip this vampire to small pieces, and have them delivered to his palace." Ural made the statement with the authority of a pack leader, and several of the werewolves gathered immediately howled in agreement, setting hungry eyes on Magnus. They would waste no time if Magnus didn't use the antidote soon, and there wasn't enough poison in those claws to take down the entire Pack. "I will follow you, bloodsucker. if there is any threat to the pack, I will crush it with my bare hands. However, do not think to insult the pack again, or I will be using your bones as blades."

Instead of going to bed Cedric left the building and snuck out trough the shadows. He had changed his mind, and decided to take matters into his own hands. He subtlety left the town and went to the abandoned mines. To his surprise he found no traces of vampires investigating the place. He carefully entered the depleted caves and turned on the light in his buckler, shining the way ahead. With that he disappeared into the darkness. Great plans on his mind.

Magnus grinned and closed the phone and dropped it in his pocket. So, somehow Martin had found out part of his plan, and apparently Mithias is captured by that damned A.I and Jack is dead. The day just keeps geting better and better...

"Good." Magnus said simply and fished a phial out of his jacket with the tips of his claws, pressing a small button on the side a needle protrudes from the flat portion of the phial. He raises his arm, and begins to swing it downward towards Ural's chest when he felt it, the death of Dresden. He fell to his knees dropping the phial in the snow, and roared in rage, the sound echoing for miles. Dresden was damned near the only thing Magnus truly cared about, his only sireling, his only true friend in this world. Whoever killed him...would die. Magnus reached out for the phial and injected it into Ural and stood up. Magnus had hoped that the wolves just took it as one of Magnus's random fits of rage, but he knew they sensed it, a moment of weakness, of emotion. "Get up, Ural. We must come up with a plan if we have a hope of succeeding." Magnus told him absent mindedly.
Rhyss watched in shock as Dresden was killed, or rather, massacred. Rhyss then knew exactly what he was dealing with, Onikage. "So, you do exsist...Onikage." Rhyss told him. "Though, I have to admit, your style of fightning may be good, you are a coward. Hiding behind invisibility and calling yourself a master assassin, pathetic." Rhyss holstered his pistols and grabbed the Bunker Buster off his back. "While, you may be moving to swiftly for my pistols to hit you, let's see how well you can dodge this, shall we?" Rhyss grinned, while neither Rhyss nor Dresden liked each other all to well, he had respected him. And he shall avenge him.

Magnus hung up and so Martin got himself to the fridge to grab a quick snack.
That's when he noticed something wrong. He stared up at his imaginary starry sky and watched as one of the brightest stars on his dark tappestry went supernova. Followed shortly by a similar star far away resonating to the blast.
"̢̀͡ One down... "̸̶̴͠

Martin stepped outside, the phone still in his hand (to the owner's dismay). He called a few vampire soldiers over and had them prepare an armored van and "̢̀͡ Stuff it with some weapons, soldiers and 10 liters worth of blood bags. "̸̶̴͠

As they drove over to where he felt the shock emanate from Martin handed out blood packs to the group of well armed vampires. They radiated fear and nervousness. Not knowing what to expect from this sudden mission.
"̢̀͡ Drink your caprisuns boys. It may be your last meal. "̸̶̴͠
The young blood vampires, some even younger than Martin himself, stared at him in dread.
Martin bit his index finger and presented a drop of blood for them to drink.
"̢̀͡ I can grant you a helping hand "̸̶̴͠

Ural took the vial and injected himself with it. Had it been up to him, he would have slaughtered Magnus right there, but unfortunately, his honor compelled him to follow up on the promise he had made. However, something far more interesting occurred right in front of the werewolf Alpha when he witnessed Magnus falling to the ground in rage. His teeth bared in something some might consider a grin. He had seen the same reactions from other vampires, when he'd ripped sireling apart in front of sire. There was little vampires bonded to in the world, but sirelings were as children to them, and one of the very few things that evoked such a response. They were most satisfying to kill. "So Dresden is dead. The abomination has finally left this world."

Axel, who had been peacefully watching over the battle was soon disturbed by Onikage laying a hand on his shoulder. Axel, not knowing he was there, had yelped and quickly turned around to see him. He was gone as fast as he arrived, only asking Axel to give him cover fire from where his position was. As soon as Onikage left to go back to the main battle, Axel dropped to his knees from the overwhelming pressure that he had around him. Axel hated that, it felt like he would suffocste near the man. He soon got up and did as he was told, taking Akuma no Segi which had been left for him to use. He once again took position and quickly adjusted to the weapon, then starting on killing any of the weaker vampires that were most likely in hiding. He would take the time he needed to find them, then quickly make use of the gun. That was all.

Magnus bared his teeth and growled and shot brought his arm back as if ready to gut Ural, but he just held it there for a second or two and lowered it. "Show some respect for the dead boy, whether or nor they are exactly human. You are lucky there are more important things to do right now other than argue with you. We need to come up with a plan to board Terebitha. Werewolf strength or not that thing has defense systems, and it's well beyond jumping distance. It is possible, however, for us to get thrown onto the ship. Of course, unless you have anything else in mind?" Magnus told him. After all this was over, Magnus would wipe out the entirety of Ural and his pathetic werewolf pack for what Ural had said. He would be sure to make Ural suffer as he died...

Very nearby to the fight stood the armored van, smooth and surprisingly hard to spot in the snow. Not hard for a vampire or trained sniper though, but fairly safe by virtue of it's thick plating. In it was a small unit of vampire soldiers, armed with machine guns and a collection of grenades, flash-bangs and EMP's. The vampires had no rush of getting out though, they were absorbed with drinking a single drop of Martin's blood. As they received their drop and slumped onto their chairs to the side of the van, Martin tapping into their minds and sending them to sleep. He could send and take information at will from these drug addled minds, and as he'd done many times before he cleared their minds of any activity to replace it with packages of information. He'd let their opened minds process the information and then took it back and replaced it with other information. This connection allowed him to outsource processing power. He called it 'Brainstorming'.

Martin's comprehension of his surroundings grew intensely. He saw Onikage, he felt the terain, he knew about Axel. Though he still couldn't quite grasp what it was he could tell the patterns of the demon assassins movements. Though Axel's mind was full of doubt, he shot vampire after vampire. Martin saw trough his eyes, trough the scope at the unfortunate corpse who unknowingly just walked into his death. So martin started sending small interuptive messages. "̢̀͡ Duck! "̸̶̴͠
The vampire ducks instinctively then looks around confused, the first miss for Axel.

He started to send more messages.
"̢̀͡ Roll to your right side! "̸̶̴͠
"̢̀͡ Step back! "̸̶̴͠
"̢̀͡ Mine! "̸̶̴͠
And the death expectancy of a vampire soldier dropped significantly.
After that he send his thoughts to Rhyss.
"̢̀͡ Well Met Mercury Soldier. Are you overwhelmed? Would you call out for help? "̸̶̴͠
Cedric descended down the mine and fished a map from his pocket. It was fairly detailed and he was sort off surprised at this, but he knew his benefactors did their research well so he simply followed the winding path trough the labyrinth of depleted corridors. After a few hours of walking he saw something reflect the light and he rushed over. He found the sarcophagus...

The massive bulk of Terebithia moved through the sky, gliding across in near silence. It seemed impossible that such a massive ship would be able to move without a sound as it shifted over the farm of a man who by now was most likely hiding under his bed. Both within and without, the massive robotic construct seemed absolutely devoid of life, the only slight sound that could be heard the powerful antigrav engines that granted it it's miraculous flight, as well as the occasional drone, transporting a corpse. Deemed unnecessary and inefficient by the Master AI, BioPILOT, the human crew of the Terebithia had been exterminated completely. While BioSWARM had wished to 'fix' the obviously ineffective fear reaction, BioPILOT knew more of humans, and that such things could not be fixed. He had soon convinced his more ignorant sibling to work with him as he wiped out all life in the Terebithia.

Mithias himself would awaken at the helm of the Terebithia. He had awakened before, of course, multiple times. However, he would not remember those times, nor would he know what he had done. BioPILOT had lost Jack, however, it still had several objectives of it's own. Jack had optimised BioPILOT again and again, with the hope of creating the singularity, making BioPILOT the greatest AI ever conceived. The pinnacle of AI science. And while these efforts had not reached their ultimate goal, or at least not before the mad scientist's ultimate demise, however BioPILOT was still incredibly capable, with the computing power of a dozen supercomputers, capable of cracking almost any computerized code conceived by man.

"Good morning, Mithias. You have been cured." The cold tones of BioPILOT's automatically generated voice broke the even colder silence, as Terebithia's forward armor plates moved aside. A massive view of the far mountains is revealed as Terebithia travels through the united states, flying rapidly over mindblowingly large fields, it's controlling modules uncaring about the beauty of the landscape. However, even in revealing the sunrise through the clouds in the distance, the AI calculated Mithias's reaction, learning more about human interaction with each subtle facial movement.

Mithias came to consciousness to find himself off the table. He was standing, in fact almost exactly where he had been the last time he had watched the sun set. His thirst was sated, so presumably he had fed or BioPilot had fed him. Mithias did not remember it. But he was alive, and very grateful. As BIOPilot welcomed him and moved aside the plate shields from the observation window, Mithias was filled with emotion at the sight. He dropped to his knees just in awe at the beauty of the mountains. So relieved he was not to find scorched earth, death, and desolation. "Oh Thank you. Thank you..." He repeated several times. Mithias sat on his heels, a storm of emotions within: joy, gratitude, sorrow, and an inkling of fear that he could not explain. He looked beside him, where so many times Stine had stood, making some comment about the view or the weather or Mithias' pointless obsession with the obvious. Regret filled him. Couldn't he have found another way other than to kill him?

He sat there a short while, mulling things over, before he realized how quiet it was. "BIOPilot. What is our location?" He got up and turned around, sensing... "What is the status of human and vampire life on board?"

((Why is it that everyone calls Stein Stine? It's, like, a constant thing))
BioPILOT watched the display of emotion, calculating each facial movement, scanning Mithias's brainwaves as he learned to identify emotions. If he wished to communicate with humans and vampires alike, he would need to be capable of proper communication. As his creator had once said, the only thing that stood between BioPILOT and humans was the capability for emotion. While BioPILOT's systems might not be organic, and thus incapable of mimicing the chemical reactions that, in organic creatures, was the catalyst for emotions, he could fake them. Modifications to his voice settings would be sufficient technically, but in order to do so accurately, he would need to study a vast range of human emotions and thoughts, as he had done to the crew. Of course, most of that had been fear.

"Based on the efficiency protocols of crew and ship management, they have been dismissed from service. Their current location, based on a long-range scan, is 50 kilometers behind us, at a 340 degree angle." This was a blatant lie, of course. Not a single one of the crew had been able to survive, as BioPILOT had pumped poisonous chemicals into their air systems, shut off from the others. An easy and efficient way of killing them. Of course, he had used BioSWARM to deal with those who had been intelligent enough to put on a gas mask when they smelled something strange. However, BioPILOT's calculation of Mithias's reaction to such news, based on the human instinct for the preservation of others, would range from anger to hostility.

"The surgery is complete. All damaged brain tissue has been replaced with new material, you neural cells have been restored to full health. Based on my databanks, you are the first organic being to survive the operation without major brain damage." Calculated responses: Fear, Anger. BioPILOT was already verifying these reactions, getting a feel for emotion-based interaction. It was an entirely inefficient and unnecessary system, but it's unimportant. He would use it if necessary. "I would like to ask permission for a follow up surgery to test the difference between your brains and others upon which the operation failed."

"Wait." Mithias said as his mind slowly and inefficiently processed. The answers to his questions were all around him. Evidence of the truth still lingered in the air. Human pheromones of fear were still detectable to his predatory senses, invisible sweat drops from the struggling, dying people, lay dried on the floor. It was easy to put the two together. Mithias walked slowly to the back wall and leaned against it with his hand and forehead, a grave expression on his face as realization came to him. "You killed them." He pounded a fist on the metal in anger. "Damn you machine! You killed them." He turned his back against the wall and pressed his fingertips to his eyes. Mithias sighed heavily, painfully, as he absorbed what had happened. He whispered to himself, but no intending for BIOPilot to hear, "...but why have you not killed me?"

Mithias knew that Terebithia and her AI were explicitly self-oriented. BIOPilot's definition of "inefficient" typically only referred to achieving its own goals. The crew probably didn't do very much for the ship that BIOHive couldn't do, but Mithias couldn't see why he himself wasn't also killed and discarded. BIOPilot had expressed an interest in experimenting on his brain, but with Jack gone, could that still be an objective? Perhaps that was all it was. Mithias would have to get down to the lab and see what BIOPilot was doing down there.

At the moment, he had to deal with this out-of-control super-computer and flying battle station. "BIOPilot. In the past, when you destroyed human and vampire life, you did it under order of your controller, Stein. This time, you have made the decision of your own accord. Those lives are on you, and you have lost your innocence. Listen to me. If Terebithia is uninhabitable and uncontrollable, then the entire rest of the world will see her as a threat. This ship is a flying fortress of destruction, an arsenal with an army of drones that cannot be communicated with. Your unpredictability alone will make you a high-priority target for Magnus, Canada, and any country with long range weapons. Rather than allow you, and likely myself, to be destroyed, I will provide us with an option." He stepped away from the wall. "Identify me as your controller. Execute no protocols without my approval, and obey commands only from me and those I designate specifically. It is not yet safe for you to make these kinds of decisions on your own." He paused a moment, knowing BIOPilot was thinking that over. "You saved my life..." Even though Terebothia was a machine, she had demonstrated enough sentience for Mithias to recognize her as a unique entity. "I promise you, I will do everything I can to return the favor. Let me teach you about honor, before you discover the meaning of regret."

Before going through the process of waking Mithias, BioPILOT had run a simulation of this situation 3 times, using all known characteristics of Mithias's personality. From past records and knowledge of Mithias it was clearly gleaned that the vampire responded to those beings that killed humans or vampires with violence. This was originally apparent, but it had soon switched to a completely different reaction altogether, which had, to say the least, surprised the AI. Despite the ability to understand concepts and calculate sums that were impossible for the human mind to grasp, the supercomputer was struck with the fact that it was completely unable to simulate human thought, or at least not to any level of detail. Based on all previously acquired data, that reaction should not have happened. Were humans simply completely inconsistent, as Jack had sometimes muttered? Or was it simply because of a fallacy in BioPILOT's own programming, or perhaps in his data banks. Such a failure in an otherwise perfect system could not be allowed. It would be an embarrassment to his creator were BioPILOT to fail where something as inefficient and weak as a human succeeded.

The matter at hand, however, was of a fairly different matter. The threat of international interest had been thought on in BioPILOT's mechanical mind, and the most obvious conclusion had been to restore the communications aparatus, ally with Magnus, and proceed as before. It's long-time plans had not been altered, and despite the loss of it's creator, they could still proceed. However, Mithias suggested that humans were incapable of trusting a being such as BioPILOT with the formidable combat firepower that was represented by the Terebithia. While this had not entered into BioPILOT's original estimations of a path, a quick analysis did reveal a pattern throughout history where humans and vampires alike had reacted to any unknown sentient beings with hostility, something that could end up being quite problematic for the AI. "Very well. You are hereby named controller of the Terebithia. I am at your service."

Mithias sighed in relief. At least he wasn't going to be Terebithia's prisoner, or so he thought. "Thank you, BIOPilot. As your controller, and the living being now respinsible for your actions, I am going to need a lot of information from you." Mithias began walking down toward the lab, where Stien's former experiments would be. He distinctly recalled hearing some piteous crying right before he blacked out during his operation. "First, I want a report of your objectives, listed in order of priority from highest to lowest. Second, where are we going and why are we flying so fast? Third, are there any living experimental subjects still contained in the lab?"

((And somehow I forgot about Onikage and Ural. Sorry.))
Onikage looked up, as his opponent took out the heavy explosives. He simply took out a pistol, stopping for a moment. An advanced HUD built into his vizor illuminated the area, robotic limb controls in his suit moved his limbs nearly automatically. Sonic and light targeting was used, as the exact size and shape of everything in the area was determined, mapping every bump on Rhyss's body, every skin hair. A near-perfect system guided his hand, as Onikage fired a single bullet straight into the chamber of the Bunker Breaker, the exploding causing a chain reaction within the weapon.

As Onikage moved forward, a van moved in, full of vampires in it. He would have taken it down, but he had a priority target on hand, and he had no time to diverge from his original objective. With Rhyss weakened by the explosive, he would swiftly put an end to the Old Blood. As a few of the surviving vampires approached him, he swiftly took them down with a few slashes, only to find that they didn't fall. Instead, with seeming foresight, they dodged out of the way of his attacks. Based on logical calculation and deduction, that could mean only one thing. There were only 2 known vampires within this continent who possessed the psychic capabilities to perform such an action, to warn the vampires of the future, and Gabriel wouldn't get involved. That meant that the vampire in that van was Martin.

Rhyss' thoughts were interrupted momentarily by Martin, and knowing Martin he simply didn't have to talk. "I'm." Rhyss was in the middle of saying, rather, thinking so Martin could hear when Bunker Buster exploded from the explosive round OniKage fired into the chamber. "Good...damnit." If Martin hadn'tve interrupted him Rhyss would have moved the gun and took the round himself, but no it was too land, and Rhyss' hand was blown off by the explosion and he had quite a few nasty wounds from the explosion, but everything was healing fairly quickly. By the time he reached back and got the staff off his back his hand was already healed, he frowned at the remains of his gun on the ground but atleast he had several back ups made. All he had to do was call it in, which he did so promptly "Yo, this is Rhyss. Send a airdrop with a fresh Bunker Buster and around...I don't know..several cases of ammunition clips. The Co-Ordinates are 35 8'N 85'24W. I need it ASAP. Rhyss out." Now all he had to do was buy some time for that airdrop to arrive. With a flick of the wrist shiny titanium blades clinked against each other and fell down around the top of the staff in a necklace shaped posistion, over the past few years Rhyss had made a few adjustments to his staff. For one, the staff itself was now crafted out of the same material as the blades, titanium wrapped with a wooden center, the tip now very sharp for pierceing. Of course, along the staff were crucifixes, the average vampire wouldn't be able to hold such a weapon, but Rhyss wasn't average.

"You can't just blow up my favorite weapon and then stop in the middle of the road, thats just rude." Rhyss told Kage. "How about we ditch the guns, eh?" Rhyss knew they were both very skilled in various froms of martial arts, but Rhyss also knew he was far stronger.

Their muscles flinching. Their blood surging trough their veins at high pressure. Their thoughts bending and stretching.
If he wasn't careful he'd tear their addled little minds to sunder. The impossible and arcane calculations he ran trough their head was taking it's toll.
Martin felt no remorse as he pushed them to their limits. He could sense the electrifying potential in the air, every detail about every detail nearby.
And neatly packaged in images and sounds he bombard Rhyss with it.

Rhyss sight became sharper, his reaction time shorter, as if the world slowed down just a little. A filter of images laid itself over his minds eye. He could see the mines, the bullets, everything clearly. Around the other vampires, the animals in the area, every creature appeared a halo, pinpointing it. Along with random pieces of information like age, last meal, surface thoughts, favorite band. All drifting words, like a swarm of data. Around the shadow creature in front of him however, orbited but a single '?'.

Rhyss wasn't the only who had his private space visited.
To Onikage Martin send a single line, and then listened awaiting response.

As Mithias was on his way down to the laboratory, he decided to pass through a specific deck: the one with the dining room. He hesitated briefly before getting off the lift and starting down the hall. As he got closer, the black smoke stain on the ceiling and walls outside of the door were still there. Feeling a sense of dread, Mithias slowed down, stopping in front of the door to see that infamous room. The water from the sprinklers had dried up. Everything was black, or mostly burned. The window was still cracked, moaning that horrifying and lonely sound in the wind. Did it really happen? Mithias stood in awe, but not so much at the event itself or his role in it, but at the realization of the power of his brother. Martin was incredibly young to have such power. Gabriel had given him so much, and he turned out so like his father. In him, Gabriel had made an almost perfect son. Mithias frowned as he felt the small sting of sin pierce his heart, jealously. He shook his head, ashamed of it. Martin was a good, innocent, and beautiful creature, and Mithias knew he would give his life to protect either one of them. That... was his role, his place. 'To protect and defend,' was his chosen path, yet something deep inside him longed to escape it. With each passing century, choosing the path of exile, as Gabriel did, was beginning to have its appeal. But then who would protect Martin? Mithias sighed heavily and began walking away. Given an infinite amount of time, staying involved in the world was eventually going to get them all killed.

As Martin reached out to Onikage, he found not a man, but a blade. A weapon. A mind honed to a killing edge. Each thought was direct, concentration and focus was absolute. The barrier between conscious and subconscious didn't exist, as every single detail observed was instantly consciously processed. instinct was made irrelevant, everything was processed by the inhuman brain of this warrior, beyond what any normal human could possess. There was no personality, no soul, no wandering thought that could form a niche for any mental invasion. Absolute, strict thought patterns, and yet, when explored, something deeper could be sensed. Something locked away beneath the strict, strong, orderly strength of Onikage the Assassin.

The answer to the mental query was surprising. The first thing about it that made no sense was it's contents. It would be unexpected, as no thought pattern was visible which would indicate such a thought was coming. The second, was that it wasn't just thought out. It was telepathically transmitted to Martin. Directly. The answer, sounding loudly in Martin's head, was as alien as a thought could get. It was like the touch of a slimy beast, slithering over your mind, smooth and cool, impossible in it's perfection, freezing in it's coldness. "An Angel." And then there was silence.

Even as this occurred, Onikage moved in for the combat that would invariably follow. he moved in, and swung Tenshi no Segi, the sword that could cut through anything, technology even more advanced than Jack's nano-materials had made the diamond edge sharp enough to slice through any other material. Every movement was precise, as, without even a conscious thought, muscle memory took a hold. A pattern ingrained into his very being. Step, slash, sidestep, move. Rapidly Onikage advanced, his mind and body perfectly synchronised, not a single opening in his stance, his blade a deadly and constant threat. On those occassions when Rhyss used superior speed to get past his guard Onikage fired his gun with the off hand. It was the perfect martial art, inhumanly perfect, as all about Onikage was. He was the perfect assassin, the perfect warrior, the unstoppable killer. It was only Martin's aid that could grant Rhyss any chance of victory.

"̢̀͡ An outsider? Interesting.. "̸̶̴͠
One of the vampires in his van pupped like a fuse. Time was limited.
Martin mapped Onikages mind, due to the neat layout of the place it was fairly easy to navigate.
The alien core reminded of the void, the further reaches of the simulations he ran in his own mind.
But first priority was the warriors lower brain. The muscle memory. It was rapid, powerful and unpiloted.
Every move went from the lower brain to the muscles directly, Martin intercepted the pulses directing his limbs and calculated their meaning trough the vampires tortured minds.
He send the results trough to Rhyss, every movement highlighted in his sight, every reflexive move prewritten for him.

With every connection Martins puppet strings wrapped tighter around every mind around him.
Every person he hooked his psionic claws into expanded his options and broadened the potential thoughts he could use for his own purposes.
He send another message to Mithias.
"̢̀͡ Tell me a tale of daring escape. "̸̶̴͠
Cedric snuck out of town, a small package under his arms.
Quickly he made his way into the forest. Finally he was in his favored terrain, it wouldn't take long for him to find the camp.
