[OOC] A ℒull in the sea...

[Kautalya]

Years ago, human civilization began living under the sea. However, they were many people who insisted to live above the surface. They manged to move to land and created a 'fundamental separation.' After the school closed down, students from the sea village has to attend Mihama Middle school on the surface. As per usual, there was clear discrimination between the two different groups of students. The students who were residents of the sea village were faced with a strange, new, but hostile environment. How well will they adjust? That's up to you!

Rules

◘PG13; Anything above that(regarding romance) take it to the PMs.
◘People from the sea village are NOT mermaids! However, they do have gills that allow them to survive under the water.
◘Residents from the the sea village cannot stay on land forever! Their skin cracks and they have trouble breathing if they stay out in the sun for too long(They can only stay before 5:00P.M.)
◘Please follow the usual RP guidelines.
◘You can be from the Surface or from the Sea! Or both! If you want more than one character( No more than 3 characters per person, please!)
◘If there's a disagreement/argument take it to the PMs, don't bring your drama to us.
◘If you have read the rules, add in "Just Keep swimming."(Just made a Finding Nemo reference :D)

Personality:
Nakamura is indecisive and prone to cry. Her personality gradually changes later on. She learns to become more confident in herself and understand the people around her. Although she still can be oblivious(naive) to most things and situations that occur around her. She is mostly an air head that doesn't understand the concept of love. She's an idiot that is always cheerful. She's always going to have a smile on her face no matter what the situation is. Nakamura is kind to her friends and will do what ever it takes to make friends with those around her.
Biography:
Nakamura mother once fell in love with a man from the land. It is once said that a person from the sea can't fall in love with those on land. The reason for that is because, you'll eventually get banned. Nakamura mother suggested that she'd have her Ena(Ena is what the first original humans had to live under the sea. It's compared to as being like fish scales. Ena out of the water is like normal skin except it will glitter and shimmer lightly in the sun. Those with Ena are extremely sensitive to light when out of water. If they're out of water for a long period of time, they can faint and the Ena will slowly chip away like glass.) taken away to love someone on the surface. Uroko didn't approve of this(Protector of the sea village). Nakamura's mother was forced to marry a guy from the sea and that's when Nakamura popped out. Eventually, Nakamura's mother eventually grew depressed and died of old age. Her father did his best to support Nakamura and help her at most times.
Crush:
She has a slight crush on the sea god Uroko. She slowly notices that he's a perverted man and get's disgusted by him at some point.

Virde is a jerk. Thats how people would describe her. She doesn't talk to anyone she hates, which is generally everyone. If she talks to you, its probably because she has a score to settle. The only human she ever respected was her mother, who drowned when she attempted to move to the ocean in an accident. Since then, Virde had been absolutely terrified of the sea. The sea is the one place she will never go near.
Biography:
Virde grew up as the only child of her family, her mom being the only role model in her life. Her mother taught her to stand up for herself, and to shove her way through her problems. When humans began to live in the sea, Virde's mom decided to try it out. However, the day they moved, Virde's mother began to drown. The reason why is still unknown, but Virde hasn't gone near the sea since.

Personality: Edelweiss appears to have a very quiet and gentle personality. She takes things very slow and often times forgets what she was originally doing(Occasionally she even forgets her own name). Because of this, the girl has very poor grades and worth ethic and is often times labeled to be lazy and lethargic. Edelweiss has a hard time keeping track with conversations, so she would mostly just drift off, or at least attempt to listen and join in.
She speaks in a very soft manner and tends to get spoken over because others speak more loudly and clearly than she. Edelweiss doesn't mind being forgotten(And this happens on many occasions, because she is so hard to notice due to her slow and clumsy manner).

Biography: Her mother and father were both people of the sea. Edelweiss grew up in a modest household with only her mother since her father was an unknown man. That didn't bother her though and she lived a content if bored life in the ocean, often she would dream of going on adventures. Her mother was the village's florist(Overseeing underwater plantlife) and would tend to the various flora and fauna that were grown in the shop. She also acted as a healer with her extensive knowledge of various herbs and plants. Edel, as a child, would often watch her mother as she made various concoctions for cuts, burns and other small injuries.

Konno-sama is an extremely conceited girl. She's utterly convinced that she's the bee's knees, the sharpest tool in the shed, the creme de la creme; you get the idea. As surprising as it may seem, Konno is rather sensitive. She has this outer appearance of a confident, nonchalant girl, who's oblivious to anyone else's feelings but her own. But when the going gets hard, she's the first one to start bawling.
Biography:
Being a resident of the land, Konno grew up her whole life listening to the resident's awful stories regarding the villagers of the sea. She was being raised to hate and despise anyone who wasn't from her land. Her parents were the first to go ballistic when they heard that their daughter's school was going to have to mingle with those 'wannabe merfolk.' However, no matter how much influence her parents had, they couldn't do anything against the addition of those sea village students. Konno herself wasn't too happy to mingle with the new students, but at least they would be providing her with new entertainment.
