Liam asked Chuck if he was ready to go see Bill.

"Yeah." Chuck said, crossing the bridge.

The boys made their way to Bill's house. There they found what appeared to be a giant Kabuto. However it talked with a human voice explaing this was a giant suit and asked the heroes to push a small button on the side

Chuck went up and pushed the button.

Shiranui crossed the bridge and saw there was a peninsula at the end of Route 25 with a lighthouse.

a jet of steam issued out as the suit opened to a red haired man. He thanked the boys for the help and introduced himself.

"I heard a lot about you, Bill," stated Shiranui, "What kind of research are you currently doing?"

"I was trying to get in the mind of an ancient pokemon." Bill explained." Hearing his Bill's voice, a swarm of quadrupedal pokemon came running. He said these were all of the members of Eevee's family, including the newly discovered form, Sylveon.

Eevee, the Evolution Pokemon.Thanks to its unstable genetic makeup, this special Pokémon conceals many different possible evolutions.

Vaporeon, the Bubble Jet Pokemon and an evolved form of Eevee.It has evolved to be suitable for an aquatic life. It can invisibly melt away into water.It prefers beautiful shores.

Flareon, the Flame Pokemon and an evolved form of Eevee. It has a flame bag inside its body. After inhaling deeply, it blows out flames of nearly 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit.

Jolteon, the Lightning Pokemon and an evolved form of Eevee. Every hair on its body starts to stand sharply on end if it becomes charged with electricity.It accumulates negative ions in the atmosphere to blast out 10,000-volt lightning bolts.

Espeon, the Sun Pokemon and an evolved form of Eevee. Its fur is so sensitive, it can feel minute shifts in the air and predict the weather...and its foes' thoughts.

Umbreon, the Moonlight Pokemon and an evolved form of Eevee. The light of the moon changed Eevee's genetic structure. It lurks in darkness for prey.When exposed to the moon's aura, the rings on its body glow faintly and it's filled with a mysterious power.

Glaceon, Fresh Snow Pokemon and an evolved form of Eevee. By controlling its body heat, it can freeze the atmosphere around it to make a diamond-dust flurry. It lowers its body heat to freeze its fur. The hairs then become like needles it can fire.

Leafeon, the Verdant Pokemon and an evolved form, of Eevee. When you see Leafeon asleep in a patch of sunshine, you'll know it is using photosynthesis to produce clean air. As a result, it is always enveloped in clear air.

Sylveon, the Intertwining Pokemon and Eevee's final possible evolution. It sends a soothing aura from its ribbonlike feelers to calm fights.It will also wrap its ribbonlike feelers around the arm of its beloved Trainer and walks with them.

He mentioned that a friend of his named Cassius sent him Sylveon from the far off Kalos region, knowing he would like it.

Shiranui had an awestruck expression on his face when he saw nine of his favourite Pokémon in one place.

"Yeah, I've seen plenty of Sylveon at my parent's daycare in Lumiose City." Chuck said.

Bill informed them that there was going to be a party on a boat in Vermilion City and he was invited but can no longer go. He had a +2 pass and wanted them to go in his stead. He handed the ticket over.

[Azure Flame]

"Thanks." Chuck said, pocketing it. "I'm gonna go out and catch some more Pokémon, as well as train Volt for the gym."

"I'll join you, Chuck," added Shiranui.

[Azure Flame]

"Alright." he said, heading back to Route 25, then 24.

"Sounds like a good idea." Liam said. He thanked Bill and left with his friends. He encountered a wild Abra.

Abra, the PSI Pokemon. It sleeps for 18 hours a day. It uses a variety of extrasensory powers even while asleep. If it senses impending attacks,it teleports away to safety before the actual attacks can strike. But Liam noticed this Abra was colored different then how the Pokedex pictured it. He remembered Trevor mentioning a Pidgey like that, as well as seeing a Noctowl like it on TV at a few league tournaments. He called on Cleafairy and had her sing and put the Abra to sleep before it could teleport away. He threw a pokeball at it and caught the Abra. Upon checking it Liam found the Abra was a guy. and named him "Sherlock". Though persistent training , Bulbasaur evolved into Ivysaur..

Shiranui also found an Abra, but in that case the opposite happened as the Abra ended up teleporting onto his head piggyback style and falling asleep. He lifted the Abra of his shoulders as it was as heavy as a small child and placed it on the ground. Letting Sapphire out, Shiranui pointed to his eyes and then to the Abra. Sapphire understood the signed order and gave Abra a Mean Look, preventing the Abra from escaping. Sapphire fired a couple of Night Shades to get Abra ready for capture and Shiranui took the opportunity. The Abra was caught and was named Jean after Shiranui saw it was female.

Chuck also caught an Abra, as well as a Bellsprout.

Liam returned to the center and adjusted his team He was then ready to head to the gym. He found that the building dome roof was multicolored pink and yellow. He saw up there a the likeness of a Dewgong. He entered and found an aquarium like hallway. He entered the main arena and saw a yellow pokemon sitting in a flotation ring in the middle of the pool.

Psyduck, the Duck Pokemon. It has mystical powers but doesn't recall that it has used them. That is why it always looks puzzled. Liam wondered why a water type needs a floaty. As if on request, Psyduck slipped out and began flailing in a panic. As Liam reached for a Pokeball, a Gyarados rose up with Psyduck flailing even though it was no longer submerged. It shortly realized and stopped. A red hair girl, carrying a small blue pokemon came running out and began to chastise the Psyduck, who just looked at her dumbfounded. She sighed and replied. "Its just no use yelling at you is it?"
"Duck?" The Pokemon replied. The girl noticed she had visitors and introduced herself as the gym leader, Misty.

"A Garaydos and Azuril huh? This is my first time seeing an Azuril." Liam said while he pulled out his pokedex to scan these other pokemon.

Gyrados, the Atrocious Pokemon. Rarely seen in the wild. Huge and vicious, it is capable of destroying entire cities in a rage.

Azuril, the Polka Dot Pokemon. A Pokémon that lives by water. It moves quickly on land by bouncing on its big tail. It swings its large, nutrient-filled tail around to fight opponents bigger than itself. Misty said that she would accept the gym matches, with each trainer using two Pokemon. Misty walked over to her trainer's box where a Politoed stood applauding its trainer.

Politoed, the Frog Pokemon.Whenever three or more of these get together, they sing in a loud voice that sounds like bellowing. If Poliwag and Poliwhirl hear its echoing cry, they respond by gathering from far and wide.

Misty called out Staru and Liam called out Sherlock.

Staru, the Starshape Pokemon. Even if its body is torn, it can regenerate as long as the glowing central core remains intact.

"Staru, Tackle!" Misty called.
"Sherlock Psyshock!" Liam called. The Star tried to tackle the pokemon and was smack with a psychic wave.
"Swift!" Misty called. A stream of stars were issued from Staru's gym and smacked Sherlock.
"Psyshock!" Liam called again. The psychic wall struck again, this time critically.
"Signal Beam!" Misty called. This attack hit Sherlock hard, almost KO'ing him.
"Sgerlock, finish this with Energy Ball!" Liam called, The ball of green energy was issued forth and flung Staru into the wall behind Misty and her Politoed. The gem was blinking to signify it being KO'd. Misty praised the Staru for the good job. She called out Corsola and Politoed continued the applauding while chanting its name.

Corsola, the Coral Pokemon. It continuously sheds and grows. The tip of its head is prized as a treasure because of its beauty.They prefer unpolluted southern seas. Their coral branches lose their color and deteriorate in dirty water.

Liam recalled Sherlock for Ivysaur.

"Ivysaur! Sunny Day!" Liam called. The sunlight grew intense.
"Oh, no you don't!" Misty called. "Ice Beam!" Corsola fired the beam of ice at Ivysaur. It was a critical hit and left Ivysaur with a green glow. "Its Overgrow!" Liam said with a smile. "Solarbeam!" the powerful grass attack hit Corsola dead on and KO'd it, earning Liam the Cascade Badge, which was presented to him by a Dewgong who opened its mouth to reveal the badge.

Dewgong, the Sea Lion Pokemon. Its body is covered with a pure white fur. The colder the weather, the more active it becomes. Its streamlined body has little drag in water. The colder the temperature, the friskier it gets.
Liam thanked Misty and the Dewgong for the badge.
