As Elyssia attempts to sit down, she finds that she cannot. In fact, the chair Kami had been sitting in was an illusion. Furthermore, as you attempt to look at your legs, you find you cannot do that either. While you can look down without trouble, your legs simply don't seem to be capable of moving straight up, and you don't think you have an ankle. As your senses fall into their proper place, you in fact realize you have several more limbs than you're supposed to have. Looking around, you can see the illusions gradually starting to fall down. You have eight legs. A humanoid torso, attached to the body of a large, black spider. You see things through an odd haze, and you notice you can see things in infrared, instead of using light. The dress, instead of being ridiculously long as the illusion had originally had you believe, is a short thing, reaching only until your waist. Any further, and it would have split on the large chitinous form beneath. Kami is, quite literally, a spider, and you can see that the smaller spiders are, in fact, her children.
Kami, now in your body, glares around in horror, her expression almost perfectly matched by the people in the square as Kami's true form is revealed for all to see. While her upper body is still quite pretty, the massive spider body is rather distracting, and so are the hundreds of spiders crawling over the plaza. People are batting at them, trying to get rid of them, and the soldiers are moving around oddly, bumping into one another, as Kami's control only partially comes back on. No doubt scenes like this are playing out trhoughout the entire world, as Kami's appearance is being broadcasted worldwide through her many cameras. In one fell swoop, Kami's image is ruined, and her chances of controlling this world through subtelty have been shattered.
