Old Hoof is nothing compared to what's going to happen to Silver Scalpel if she finds out that what Meelo told her is true. So far, she's pissed off beyond (mortal) comprehension, but she's still lucid/clever enough to not rush in and just kill him. She's a Guardian of ponykind, and wants information first. If, however, she finds out that he actually is trying to achieve fake ascendency then she'll want to mete out Divine Punishment and, well, here's a link.

If he's aware of them (and he might very well notice a few who creeps a bit closer than should be natural) then he can do away with them just as any normal animal. The tell-tale sign is that they're somewhat translucent if you get within a few metres distance. Their obvious weakness is that they have to act like any normal animal to remain unnoticed, so if they deviate then they'll quickly be discovered and probably killed... much like I expect Scalpel will now that he's (probably) noticed some animals creep a bit too close to his hide-out. A few too many strangely translucent rats or mice, for example.

Also, I re-read your post where he said his name, and it seemed like it was in the forest he said it... Anywho. I'll go edit it. Honey's lack of legs would be enough validation for her to track him down.

Oi, Grimdark, as much as I like the idea of what you just wrote, that Pegasus (I assume) was a follower of Theá's, correct? Going by that logic she sort of falls under my control. What you're doing here is pretty much controlling Theá indirectly, as her being there insinuates that Theá ordered her to be there which she obviously did not. I'd appreciate it if you took that out. It's practically god modding :/
