Agreed. If they want to post something in the past (say an intro), they just need to have it as a flashback, as long as it doesn't contradict the current story.

Is anyone willing and confident enough to try their hand at playing Applejack? While I know we've been encourged to Godmod a little, I would just feel a bit better if someone else was playing such an important NPC... it would be more interesting an Rp after all. Even more so after seeing Dawnscrolls version of Twilight Sparkle.

If the GM's ok with it I can take à crack at it. Besides I already used to writing AJ in this setting

I'm not sure if I did Twilight juice to be honest... I wanted her to remain the ever faithful student... hopeful but disappointed time and time again. The only one of her friends to remain faithful to her princess... she was to be this cold and calculating figure because the Twilight that was Celestia student count survive on the outside.

But deep down... she wanted her teacher back.

Not sure if I've captured that.

I could TRY Applejack, but not sure yet. She's essentially cowboy hitler... Bit interesting to toy with.

I saw that. And honestly, despite everything she stands for and has done, I've been trying to think of ways for Torrential to meet her... Possibly at the flooded ruins of Ponyville.

Edit: Sorry, had to look up Odin lore to get what you meant. I could see such a thing happening if Twilight allows herself to be humble... If she insults Torrential, history will repeat itself.

German? Really? Because to be honest if any faction is Germany, its House Moon and Star. Earthborn seems more Soviet Russia then anything else.

Also I sort of consider it debatable to call Moon and Star Nazi Germany, frankly they don't come across as being interested in a Holocaust, all things considered they are a bit like America pre-1860's with a more racially enforced edge and a state controlled catholic church. Whether you want to toss up Second Class Citizenry and Slavery against making long lines of disabled, maimed and traumatized ponies because of your irrational fear of magic -which practically no unicorn has in sufficient quantities to form a threat- is your decision, although its probably to be noted that Earthborn don't sound like they'd bee to friendly to dehorned ponies either.

The most apt description of the Moon and Stars I've read is that if Equestria meet the Draka - a whole enslave everyone mentality.

Might as well write a new post, figure Scalpel and co will take a barge down the river until they reach somewhere near Fort Horn and then take the road through Canterlot. I may have him end up in Star Harbor trying to find a boat to Trotpoli when our old salty seadog of a god arrives, who knows. He'll probably be intrigued by the vault invasions (if those rumors haven't been hushed up) and maybe make his way to finding Arcon, but I'll cross that path when I get there.

Something you guys should remember is that there's a barrier surrounding the entirety of Canterlot, preventing non-unicorns from entering.

Also, I just want to ask you all to be careful when it comes to interacting with the Big Characters, so to speak. I don't want this to turn into a godmod battle where someone starts controlling a faction because their character occasionally interacts with one of the faction leaders.

Only the city of Canterlot itself. I forgot it was in a mountain and wasn't a coastal city.

Yeah, I was getting a little wary of that to be frank. Also I somewhat doubt most of the faction leaders would willingly swallow their pride and allow an Alicorn to take a prime position.

Thats fine, I'll simply be going through the province rather than the city, thanks for the heads up.
