Sounds like Crashing Wave, at least direct resources.

EldritchOne is right on the money about Sweeper - the Scholars may have knowledge but are constantly in need of money and influence, Joy's Legion (which will show up soon) is good at their job but don't have much resources either, and the rest are pretty poor or servants to begin with. The quantity perhaps, but not the quality or density. Sweeper may de facto control a shanty town, but otherwise she doesn't have any other holdings.

Well, Torrential heard and saw a little bit of it. He might not know exactly who, but he knows somewhere, shit has gone down.

What are your thoughts on how I'm playing Torrential so far, if I might ask? I love what you're doing with Thea.

Well, first of all, I'm glad you like her :p I was a bit afraid people would frown at how she seems to frequently flaunt her powers. I hope her little hissyfits don't change that :P

As for Torrential... I'm a little unsure as to what his goal is with seeing Applejack, but he seems like a nice enough fellow that could be interesting to talk to.

Torrential needs to have an end game to talk with a pony?

I kid. Truthfully, he is there for a few reasons, but the main one is because despite everything that has happened, Torrential still views Applejack as a farmer and thus feels a need to look out for her well being (After all, Applejack is an awesome farmer and that is something worth risking her swinging a warhammer into his head to touch base with). Besides, he has been traveling in her realm these last few months; least he can do is drop in and politely say 'Hi'.

Sweeper being the nicknamer she is does have a few for her kin - since she perfers short or cutesy sounding names. Rain for Torrential Waters, Ami for Armifera Imperatrix, Wavy for Crashing Wave, and Arc for Arcon. Thea doesn't get one because her name already sounds cute to Sweeper.

Of course, her kin may or may not like the friendly names Sweeper gives to her kin.

And so our intrepid scientist/doctor pony says... "Hi" to a god, I hope Thea isn't brain intrusive, mind you she'd probably be mentally blocked by a perfect image of a puzzle box, I wouldn't be surprised if Scalpel thought Moon and Star was having agents read his mind.

Ah, no, Theá can't read minds xP Mind you, exhausted as she is, she still has more than enough power to squash a single mortal :P So tread carefully ^^

Nice entries everyone! I never thought I could be so invested in a mad doctor, and I was rather shocked at what happened with Crashing's story 0_0

A few corrections, Eldritch: Theá's wing was cut clean off. The only reason she still has two wings is because all alicorns have regenerative abilities (thanks to their divinity) and can heal just about any wound, although decapitation of a limb takes far more energy than a cut.

So even if Theá would be covered in splotches of blood, she wouldn't have any wounds, at least not large ones. Either that or they would be closing slowly. Her wings, however, would be in pristine shape... you saw the result of one of them getting cut off. :P I don't think a lot of time have passed since she unleashed hell upon the city, so having her wounds slowly close as he watches her would be more likely than them still just being there.

I realise I should have probably told everyone that first, but, well, to err is human (or equine if we go with ponies)

Aside from that... Niiiice ^^ I like your Doctor, insane as he is. Also nice to see that he has the common sense to be timid in front of the one who just decimated a city xD

Alrighty! I'll get to work on the corrections, I was sort of uncertain over how much time would be needed for such wounds to close, especially when putting into consideration that she isn't at her magical peak.

Frankly he is just erring on the side of caution, mostly due to the above city obliteration but also because its not a good idea to piss off gods in general, he has read enough classical history to notice a pattern of death for those who follow that road.
