Yeah, it's easy to spend a lot of time hitting the random button to see what you get. :P And it's also interesting to see all of the characters who have that power in various fictions.

I read something someone said on the wiki that someone with water manipulation should also be able to have liquid manipulation (so control not just water but also any liquid) is that right? Like I know they can't make soda pop out of thin air, but if there was a soda pop spill, could they make it rise off the floor and into the sink or something similar?

Does that make sense? Liquid Manipulation It mentions on the wiki that Cleo from H20 can do liquid Manip. Her elemental power is water. Food for thought!

That might be something that comes along later, though the others would also have to develop manipulation of phases of matter to balance it out. :3

Well a lot of liquid is made of mostly water or contains water, like tea for example. But I get your point.

Yeah. It's kind of the same for the others. A lot of solids are made of earthen materials (wood, metal, crystal, mineral, potentially plastic), air is already vaguely defined and could therefore easily be gas manipulation, and fire manipulation is really the manipulation of atomic/molecular vibrations to generate heat, which is what creates plasma. The only two that don't fit are dark and light.

Also, I thought you were referring to all liquids in general. My bad. :3

Well, I'm just trying to figure out what would be possible at the early stages of their powers. Moving tea which is mainly water to me seemed like it would be easy.

"User can create, shape and manipulate water, inorganic compound with liquid, gas (steam, water vapour), and solid (ice) states, including changing them from one state to other." (So she can eventually make water turn to steam and back into water and will turning water to ice be part of her early powers or something learned later?)

I intended for the sub-thing (like how earth has wood and air has sound) to be more or less advanced techniques. But water is unique in that it is an actual compound, unlike earth and air, which are general terms. So, I wouldn't mind if you could turn water into ice and back, though it should be harder than just plain water at first. :3 It also fits with your character perfectly.

And you're not bothering me. Though I do hyper-focus on details, I usually forget to address something until someone brings it up, so questions are always welcome. XP

Now I'll be going to bed though, so I won't be able to respond until tomorrow. Just giving you a heads up so you don't question why I haven't responded. :D

I guess that means it is the same for steam/mist/vapor as well, since it is another form of water. I'm glad she can make ice soon off. I like the idea of it. Yay!
