Um... just a quick pointer; it's considered a definite no-no to force effects like that on characters. Especially when said effect is 'put the character in constant pain forever'.

EDIT: Yeah i'm looking at it now.... to turn it into two paragraphs would make it inappropriate structure wise. It's all the same basic subject.
