After playing a small song accompanying Melody's beautiful composition, Pyktis put down the saxophone. Catching up on the housekeeper's call to move she slowly grasped Katherin's hand and asked, "Where to? Since I haven't been given my cane yet I hope you don't mind taking me along. You certainly know this place better than I do."He got up from his seat and still held on to her hand, waiting for her to reply. Others had seemingly left after the housekeeper, leaving the two sightless alone.

"Kyo is usually kind enough to guide enough to lead me around. I know where the stairs are. And there are 21 steps to the second floor." Katherin answered. She took up her cane. She tilts her head and listened. "I usually wait until the room is empty. That way I don't trip over feet or bump into anyone."

Hadley agreed, standing up along side Alex as they began to join the others. Hadley had felt the tone in his voice and knew it well. That voice that overcame her parents as they waited for their daughter to return home. Complete and devastating sadness. The kind that makes you feel you have no reason to wake up the next morning. The kind that makes you feel like a robot as you go through the day doing things but not feeling anything. She too knew what that was like. Granted, she tried to make the best of things, life was often too short and too important to go around wishing things were one way when they never could be.

"Follow me everyone. We are going upstairs." The housekeeper lead them upstairs to the room where Liz and Alastair were. "I see you have already found my surprise. I want you grab as many costumes as you can carry and follow me again."

".....Seems legit" Alex remarked having followed everyone else upstairs but at not as fast pace as the others. Having heard the instructions he got a hold of as many costumes as he could and proceeded to take them to the desired destination.

"Oh! I could help you a bit with that, you see I have another ability that isn't as developed as my primary. I can sense people and obstacles. It helped me a lot in the streets. I knew which streets to avoid and where to beg." He said with a happy tone.

"So if you keep us on track I'll take you without barging into someone." He said with a laugh.

"So...shall we" he asked her, curious about the contents of the other activity. He felt her smooth, soft hands in his chafed, hard ones and tried his best to be as delicate in his grip as possible. For someone watching from afar would certainly think of him as incredibly lucky, holding hands with such a beauty as Katherin. But for him she was beautiful for other reasons than appearance.

Kyo had hesitated a bit before standing up from his seat, letting the bell on his wrist chime softly. It looked like most of the others had filed out, so he looked around for Katherin, seeing that she was still speaking with the other boy who appeared to be blind as well. Does Katherin know where to go already? No, wait, the housekeeper never said where we were going. I should probably help then.

As soon as the other boy took her hands and mentioned his ability to sense what was around him, though, he stopped again. Are they actually fine without help? I don't want to hinder them if they want to make it by themselves... He stood there uncertainly for a minute, trying to decide whether or not to approach. It seemed like the other boy was eager to prove himself, so would it be best not to interfere?

Py looked around the room to locate someone and he spotted someone not too far away. Seems like they weren't alone and some help may still be available. He decided to call upon it before it slips away.

"Hey! Would you please take us both after the housekeeper if you don’t mind. " Pyktis requested the presence.

Kyo jolted at the sound of the voice, having not realized that he was starting to space out. But, how did he-- oh, right. He almost nodded before realizing how useless that probably would still be, and opted for just walking over to the two. Katherin's hands seemed to be full, so he reached for the boy's hand to lead them.

Hadley looked back to Py and saw that he continued to be with Katherin, and that Kyo would take care of the two "I guess he didn't really need my help after all." the girl said quietly with a sigh, as she followed behind the trail of people lead by the housekeeper. Costumes were not quite the thing Hadley had in mind, nor did she really want to play dress up in these old dusty clothes; but she had a good spirit and followed along anyways. Grabbing quite an arm full of costumes, she continued along to the stage area where she placed the costumes down and stood off to the side to hear more about what they were exactly doing in here.

"So, miss, now that we cleared out pretty much most o' the stuff in there, what's up?" Keegan asks without being too specific. Melissa opts to translate.

"What Keegan meant was: What are we doing?" She explains as though the point hadn't been understandable the first instance.

"She knew what I was sayin', man." Keegan replies with a simple smirk. "She just don't wan' admit it, doe."

(In case you were wondering, they're speaking to the Housekeeper)

As the presence approached them and grabbed Py's free hand, he asked the good samaritarian "Have you seen Hadley? I wonder when she left. I meant to ask her if she had spideysense" thinking aloud more than making it sound like a question.

"I wonder what we'll be doing? This place certainly has a lot of avenues of exploration." He said out to none in particular.

Hadley?
That had been one of the children who had arrived earlier, right? But he didn't know which one, so he really couldn't say. Even if he could speak, he couldn't say. And I cannot very well type with one hand while trying to balance this device, either.

Unable to answer, he tapped twice on the boy's wrist in a vague attempt at a 'no' and led the two to the door, eventually bringing them up the stairs to the room where the others appeared to be carrying large armfuls of very colourful items from. What...I guess we have to move them? Curious, he starte toward some of the remaining items, still leading the other two.

He hadn’t expected a reply but the person still replied. Tapping on his arm to say no, since he didn’t talk Py guessed that the guy was definitely Kyo. He smiled as he was led upstairs to a room where others were. There seem to be a buzz of activity with people seemingly carrying something. He expected the next activity to involve props and his inability with handling anything but himself. A wry grin spread in his face as he waited for things to happen. Hoping Katherin may have better inkling than him.

"Thanks for the translation, Melissa, I really didn't understand what he said." Darien said smiling at Melissa.

"I understood what he said!" Diana said glaring at Darien.

She was extremely shy and didn't want to have everyone staring at her. After putting her clothing on the stage she moved to a dark corner.

Katherin followed Kyo curiously. She had no idea where they were going. They didn't stop on the second floor where the bedrooms where but continued up to a third floor which she had never been on. She followed Kyo to a fourth floor. She would have taken clothing, which she had heard the other children talk about carrying but her hands were full between her can and Py's hand.

Keegan and Melissa's eyes go wide. "Whaaaaaaaaaat?" They both exclaim simultaneously, both of them looking rather shocked.

"'Xcuse me, miss, but that a bit of a broad and, to be frank, personal thing to ask of us," Keegan remarks. "I mean, when you say anyone, do ya mean a random stranger, a friend, a family member, a what exactly? 'Cause I don't think I'm gettin' it."

Letting go of the other boy's hand for a minute, Kyo tried to gather some of the clothing into his other arm. After nearly dropping the tablet, however, he eventually placed it all down and searched for a minute until he found a black messenger bag among the items. Picking up the tablet again, he placed it inside and slung the strap over his shoulder before trying again to carry the clothing in his newly freed arm. Satisfied with the result this time, he returned to the other two to lead them to the next place the others appeared to be going to.

"You will all dress up someone from your past."

Every word was a slap to the face. Hadley's teeth sunk into her lip, practically drawing blood as she stared at the housekeeper, and stuttered out, "What if you have no one from your past?!" she exclaimed, practically yelling out of frustration of this mundane task the housekeeper was to have them do. What would she have dressed as? Her father sitting on the couch, several beers scattered as he drank his own weight in alcohol or her mother, finding comfort in every willing man in the neighborhood. What a charade that would be.

"Yes it is personal. That is the POINT. This will allow you to share someone from before you came here with the rest of us. A family member is best because it has to be someone you know well enough to act the part of. You will ALL participate." The housekeeper explained.

"I don't want to sound like a pain in the neck," Keegan interjects, "but this shouldn't be something forced on everyone. I mean, half the people here came here to ESCAPE their previous lives in hopes of finding a new dawn here. Ya know, because it was utter crap the way they used to live?" This is quite possibly one of the most serious times' Keegan had ever been in his life. "I'm not trying to get out of it, it doesn't bother me, but," he looks at Hadley, as though it were to prove a point, "there are people here who aren't OK with this. Some people had to endure some major horrors to get here, today, and bringing them back is a bad idea." He advises, giving the Housekeeper an equally stern look. "I'll take the punishment of others' if that's what's needed..."
