When he was handed the pan back Slade began to fill each of the small puffs that the batter became with a vanilla cream. When he was done with that he sprinkled powdered sugar over each puff. Once finished he took one and popped it into his mouth.

Taking . One from the pan Alexis burnt it a bit soon the outside before popping hers in her mouth. " your a lot better at cooking than me, all I do is light things on fire and burn them. " She said half commenting half well that is just how he could receive it. The puffs were good and she wondered what the others where doing.

"Well it seems that Slade and Alexis have complete the assignment while Sven and Roxy have not. So they will not be eating tonight." Vlad said. "You are dismissed to you rooms."

Sven gasped a bit before trying his best to keep his composure. "sir, if I may it was my fault really, don't punish roxy for this"

"Roxy has to share the responsibility. She could have kept you on task. You teens will learn to work together." Vlad told them. "I will see you all tomorrow."

Sven looked at the man devastated, he not only had no meal, but ruined the womans meal ticket as well.

Roxy sighed. It wasn't the first time she missed a meal. "It's alright Sven. I know you didn't mean this to happen." She patted the boy on the shoulder. "I guess I'll head to my new room."

Slade offered a side ways glance to the other as they were told they failed. As they started to leave the room the two would noticed two plates wrapped in plastic float to there feet just out of view of Vlad. On each plate was a steak and a few of the cream puffs Slade and Alexis had made. Slade was wrapping a plate for himself and Alexis before taking his plate and started to leave the room.

Alexis took her plate she was just happy that it tasted not as burnt as her regular cooking. Walking following slade till she started heading to her room. She was better at being with people than she thought, but another experiment was probably waiting tomorrow. Opening then wrapping part she Popped another puff in her mouth.

Roxy was surprised when she saw two plates floating just out of Vlad's line of sight. She was almost reluctant to take it. She didn't want to get into trouble but she thought Slade's gesture was too kind to turn down. It was thoughtful of him to make sure they got something. She nodded her thanks not wanting to attract Vlad's attention. She took her plate gratefully and began eating.

Sven snuck the meal into his pocket, he knew well it was so they would be in his debt but it was food none the less.

The night was quite. Vlad sat in his office reviewing the data he had gotten from the teens. He was pleased with the results. Tomorrow the true tests would begin.

In the morning the teens would be woken be the guards and guided down to breakfast.

Slade hadn't slept that night, like he didn't sleep most nights, and when the guards came for him in the morning he was waiting by the door already.

Roxy growled as the guard lead her down the hall. She was tired. She didn't want to get up. She hated doing things on someone ele's schedule. She made her way into the dinning room. She saw Slade was already there. She nodded as she headed to one of the tables.

Sven woke up and stretched only to be hassled by the guards to get a move on. wiping of the drool and rubbing his eyes the boy moved one. He hadn't slept well seeing as the fire woman happened to be next to him, but the restless days before had gotten the best of him, forcing his eyes to shut. The girl was such a bitter sweet to him.

Alice walked in the front entrance of the government facility and ogled at all the people moving purposefully around the main floor. Walking to the front desk, she asked the overly-perky attendant where she could find a man named Vlad.

"Oh, he's been waiting for you." she replied, "But he can't see you right now. Someone else will be here in a moment to show you around. You can sit down if you like."

Alice nodded and turned around to see an empty row of chairs tucked against the wall near the door she walked in through. She sat down in one and waited, her stomach rumbling quietly. She'd forgotten to get something to eat something before she came.

A mans footsteps approached her. She looked up to see a man in uniform standing before her, holding his hand out as if to shake hands.

Alice slipped her small hand into his larger one and they firmly shook hands before she let go too quickly.

"The rest of the people in the same group you'll be in are in the dining hall getting breakfast." the man told me, "You should probably go get some."

Alice nodded and stood up.

"Will you be escorting me there?" she asked.

"Follow me" he said gruffly, leading her down a hall, taking a couple turns and finally ending up in front of a door.

"Here is the dining hall where you'll have all your meals. More guards will be back to escort you when you're finished." he opened the door for me, and firmly shut it behind me with a metallic click.

Alice turned around and gazed around the dining room. Seeing an empty table in the corner, Alice poured a bowl of cereal and rushed towards it. She sat down, picked up her spoon and began to eat her cereal quietly.

Sven was deep in a bowl of oatmeal when he looked up to the girl, she seemed nicer then there other girls, one was insane and the other was just plan rude. Smiling as he finished his third bowl before moving closer as to look at her, wiping his gloves off as he looked over to her with a smile he began the conversation, nowing the only other one who would just starts fights, thought two girls fighting seemed better than any of the ones he'd seen thus far. "so, whats your power?" the boy said signaling for a new bowl.
