Isla

Grand Magic Games

Zami - Penny

Isla stopped for a moment and was completely silent. She blinked twice at the girl with a somewhat awkward laugh stuck on her face. Did Penny know sign language or was it just a wild guess. Her face also could have telled most part of what she was saying to Zami but it was still pretty extraordinary that Penny figured it out so quick. Isla cleared her throat while holding her hand in front of her mouth and immediately got back to her well manner posture.

Zami seemed irritated by the fact that Isla was painting onto his face again. The first time he seemed pretty okay with it but now he was a little less excited "Nihihi, what is life without a little excitement and randomness." She cheekily smiled at him as she made the paint brush dance in her hand in front of her face with the brush pointed at him. She swung the paintbrush somewhere to the right to clear the paint off, covering the floor and some of the empty and full seats. She didn't even take her eyes of Zami as she placed the paintbrush in her large bag again. Isla took the bag from her shoulder and placed it next to her on the ground together with her canvass rolls leaving only the can of paint hanging from her shoulders. She took her seat next to Zami and made sure the paint wouldn't fall over before sitting down.

As she finished settling down she turned to Zami again who also turned to her at the same time. He was writing with some sort of magical pen in the air to communicate with her. She innocently smiled at him with her bright red eyes as he was writing. He was basically asking for Isla to leave the section Phoenix Wing was sitting at but that would probably be racism if they would be looking into it deeper. She gave a shrug and got another paint brush out of her bag on the ground at the same moment "I can sit wherever I want." She said as she suddenly seemed quite busy with rolling up her sleeve after having got a hug and already goodbyes from Zami. She dipped the brush in a lime green paint and frantically started working with the paint on her upper arm. As she was finished a Phoenix Wing emblem was painted onto her arm. She wildly swung the brush around to clean it again and placed it back in the bag again. Isla waited a few moments before saying anything and was in the mean time trying to dry the paint by lightly blowing on it, of course carefully so that the paint wouldn't spread. Once the paint had dried up she cheerfully smiled "And it isn't even a problem anymore." She remained seated with her left sleeve rolled up high showing off the guild mark. Even knowing and hearing from Penny that it wasn't a problem she still didn't care about stupid rules.

Zami finally realised it wasn't a problem and apologised to her while looking quite embarrassed if you would say so. He repeated that he wouldn't allow her to paint on his face again in which Isla immediately replied "Twice!" with a big cheeky smirk on her face. He however created another bubble for her to paint on which she didn't really mind of course and it would keep her a little more occupied for now. The orb was placed onto her lap in which Isla turned quiet and bluntly looked at the object. After a short minute or two her face brightened up a little more. She took a big wide paint brush and stared at the can of paint hanging from her side "Pink!" The paint danced around with the lime green color still in it and slowly turned pink. She dipped her large brush in and covered the glass ball in a pink color. Nothing seemed to be happening at first but suddenly the pain started to turn into pink thread surrounding the whole glass ball. She looked playful with it for a minute but already started to grow rather bored by it. Her face cheered up again after she said another word "Red!"

Isla placed the ball covered in thread on the ground in front of her and raised her legs onto the seat. She dipped the brush in the red paint and covered the ball in a red color from above it. She quickly squished herself against the back of the chair while holding her long white hairs into her arms and braced herself. A sudden fire coming from the ball jolted up in the air at least two meters high. Isla cheerfully laughed at the large flame and noticed Zami was looking over at her. She gave a smile showing a part of her teeth "Color magic!" She grinned and returned looking at the fire that was still illuminated her eyes with a orange red color with a big smile still showing on her face. The fire already had calmed down a huge deal and was only burning a few centimeters above the ball.

Xyster – Frenzy Plant Camp

@CirusArvennicus

The arrival of Magni elicited a toothy grin from Xyster. She chucked her head over to him, lobbing it like a basketball. This peculiar behavior, though somewhat macabre, wasn't too unusual for her. Aside from acting as a trust fall, to test a person's reaction time and willingness to keep her noggin from bumping the ground, it also allowed her to speak face-to-face, and commonly it made people uncomfortable. Even with friends, teasing was something Xyster loved dearly. ”Hi, Magni! It's not so much you missing something, as this ship missing you! If woulda busted up Crocus pretty well if not for Salvoy here. Talk about crashing a party!” The Dullahan's body reached out a hand, signaling for Magni to throw the head back.

While this was occurring, Salvoy glanced worriedly at the Cloaked Woman. “What? Nash jumped in at this point. ”Er, you got us wrong, ma'am. It was the headless miss that said it, and she said 'present' anyhow. Either way, none of us want to keep the thing. We just wanted to find a safe place to put it. I'm guessing you're the owner of the ship? If you like, we could call the authorities to look it over and see what might have gone wrong with it.”

Nero the Genie – Dragon Fang Hotel

@Caits@Invisible Man@liferusher

As curious as he was to why the Time Lord sighed so much, and wondering if the man knew how melodramatic it made him seem, Nero wasted no time getting some food for himself and his companion. After making sure to soak the pancakes in syrup, the genie eagerly grabbed some buns for himself before returning to the table. The self-proclaimed Time Lord, having only gotten a single plate, had arrived first. Seeing Eve fascinated with the strange man's parlour trick, Nero began the search for something clever to say, but happened to witness Ayame first.

He broke out into a light-hearted laugh. ”Catching flies, Aya?” he pointed to her slightly-agape mouth as he pushed her stack of pancakes over. ”I know you're hungry, and while bugs are a great source of protein, these probably taste a lot better, heheheh!” However delightful the distraction, however, it had not totally wiped his focus away from Eve. An idea, built on a foundation of resentment itself formed of concern for the necromancer, came into his head. With little to no interest in the art of tact, Nero decided that now would be a perfectly fine time to do it. He masticated a mouthful of bun, swallowed, and leaned on his elbow, pointing a coffee spoon at the Time Lord. ”Hey buddy, I had a question for you. Been wondering ever since yesterday. You've got Eve's best interest in mind, right? What am I asking, of course you would. Why else would you interfere when Dragon Fang was on the verge of sending her to a place filled with bright lights and men in white coats?” He knew that by talking in a confusing fashion, Ayame and hopefully Eve wouldn't quite be able to follow him.

”Anyway, you've probably been asking yourself the same thing about moi. You look at me, and like all the rest, you see nothing more than a delinquent and monster. Now, I don't deny that, but even a dark mage has hidden depths. I've been looking out for Eve because since I've got a screw or two loose as well, I understand her conditions better than a so-called 'normal' person ever would.” The Genie was talking quite quickly now. ”So the way I see it, either you're a slight moron or a major monster. You took our friend here, whose soul was brimming with conflict, sadness and an obsessive desire to please everyone, and you told her to leave everyone behind to accompany you on some trip. Imagine: you want to please everyone, but one of those people will only be happy if she disappoints everyone else. Yesterday that conflict almost caused an 'incident'. Eve is a good person with bad powers, and by destabilizing her mind -the 'good person' part- her bad powers almost did something that woulda made the bombing of the old Magic Council look like a kid's firecrackers. If you're a moron, then I can forgive you for not understanding. If you did that on purpose, there are going to be problems.” The spoon in Nero's hand suddenly turned to water and splashed down on the table. He was smiling, wide and bright, but there was no trace of joviality in it.

Karn

@CirusArvennicus

The blonde didn't move for another good few moments, before he finally managed to respond. "Nyaaaaaa IMMA gooooood. You've been gone through a bunch of rougher stuff from what I hear. IMMA just see mother soon in a few days or sooooooo, it'll be great." Karn chirped cheerfully as he sat up again, smacking his disclolored cheeks in a attempt to bring his colorless pale skin back to life so he looked somewhat human again. Looking at her, he saw her eyeing Penny in which he waved his hand with a gleeful smile.

"If you wanna hang out with Fira, gooooooo. She's awesome and fun!" Karn grinned a littl as he glanced around then. Pondering where Prince had run off to. It be nice if he could get a lullaby. It was nice hearing the feline sing.

Tidius
@t2wave

Tidius watched Ariel do what he had asked, pleased, but it didn't seem that she could summon spirits that were, despire her form breaking apart, and Ariel re-emerging. Tidius didn't offer to help her up, unsure what would happen if he did. He studied the shapes, thoughtful. "Maybe feel their names, to summon them? Cloe your eyes, and open your mind. See what happens" He said. It was obvious that her own magic wouldn't harm her, or at least not badly, from what he had seen. So this didn't seem to be a risk. More like any one with magic, trial and error.

Time Lord
@lugubrious@liferusher@invisible man

Time Lord stiffened as Nero began to talk to him, narrowing his eyes at what the Genie was saying. He seemed to speak in a away that would be confusing, if Time Lord hadn't known what he was doing. He let Nero speak, his face expressionless, his eyes curiously blank of any light. When The genie seemed to have wound down, Time Lord leaned against the table, so he was as close to Nero as he could stand. "You see to have a curious way of jumping to conclusions, Genie. Of course, Genie's often do do so, and that's where the....hm. The stereotype of wishes come from. You are wrong. I do not see you as a delinquent, nor as a Monster. I see you as bad for Eve, yes. But you work too hard at Pretending, oh yes, pretending, that you are either of those things. I think that you actually care that people think that of you, but you can't do anything to convince them otherwise, so you just play along. I do not believe that Eve 'Has a screw or two loose" As you so...Eloquently put it, no. Rather, i think something bad has been molding her, with her own powers. I also think you have a very limited understanding of what I can relate to"

Time Lord was, it seemed, quivering with anger, but his tone was even, his voice soft. "As for asking her to come with me, her chosing not to did not make me unhappy. it was as I expected. I asked her to come, because I want to help her. I want to be able to be there for her, but I can't. You may see that as hard, or cold of me, Nero. I would be there every day if I could, preventing...bad and...unhelpful things from happening to her, but I have been charged with something that I cannot abandon. So I thought maybe Eve would like to help me, and maybe I could be with her, but I know she is better off at the guild, with Master Jack there. Eve is my charge, Nero. Never forget that. And never forget that just because she is, that doesn't mean I do not care about her. I do."

There was clearly more that Time Lord was going to say, as he paused to tap a sip of water, leaning closer to Nero, he said very softly, "And I do not appreciate you trying to undermine me to Eve every chance you can. Never forget that my life is tied to hers. If you cannot believe I care about her, know this: I cannot afford to let the magic council get their hands on me. therefore, I will do all in my power to protect Eve, even from herself. And If I can prove you are bad for her, that you are as bad as you make people think, that you are indeed a dark mage, I will not hesitate to put a stop to you." He made sure that only Nero would hear these words, for a short span of time, it would appear as if time had paused for anyone else besides Nero and himself. His voice was low and cold as he finished, and he leaned back, his spell breaking, finishing off his water.

He turned his back on Nero, turning to Eve, he gave her a smile, full of warmth "I'm glad you like the rose, Eve. It holds power, and a great meaning in it. I'm glad you can appreciate it. Now, eat up. Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day"

Penny

Penny frowned at Karn, and trinity's worried tone. She knew that Karn was ill, that he had been for a long time. And she suspected that Edolas Karn had perished somewhere in the timeline of stopping the Edolasans from coming to Earthland from the same illness, but hadn't had time to prove it before being transported back. She had tried to find a way to help Karn, but that had led to a dead end so far. Still, if there was another Phoenix Slayer in the city, that had to mean there was another Phoenix out there somewhere.

She didn't think Karn knew that she knew he was ill, and for now, she wasn't going to say anything. I don't really know what to do. I'm sure the Master would ask what happened, so lets go from there. How'd you get taken? Was Mithera with you then? DId she escape?" If Mithera had indeed escaped, that meant that the people who had kidnapped Trinity hadn't kidnapped Mithera, which only led Iron Enigma. And it meant that Penny could go over there and demand answers without causing as huge an issue if she didn't have that information.

Sasha
@lmpkio@yipeeXD

Sasha once more tried to figure out something to say, but she was tired. The fight from yesterday was still weighing on her, and her body hurt from it, as well as not getting much sleep last night. And she was puzzled about that...it had to have been a memory, even if she wasn't too sure what. Maybe she should speak with Master Jamie. Sasha's eyes roamed over the crowd, over where most of Phoenix Wing was sitting, but couldn't see the master.

She would have to ask later.

Looking back to Marelene, she decided to talk about magic. "How did you learn crystal make magic?"

@Caits
Marlene Evangeline

Marlene turns to Sasha quickly after she asked how she got magic.

"You can say it was an 'accident'..." she says with a small squirm, "I was going caving with my family in this one cave, known for its beautiful gems and crystals when I was 9. I think it was just a few miles away from... Cocus I believe? Anyways, and I, being quite obsessed with gems and sparkly things, decided to go in and take a gander. And it was Bee-autiful! It felt like I was in heaven you know? and that I would love to stay in that cave for all of eternity!"

Marlene paused as she clears her throat.

"So yeah," she continues, "I was walking with my parents, when suddenly I came upon this... rainbow-colored gem. And my god it was a sight I could only dream of! I mean think about it! A rainbow colored gem, can you believe that? It was almost as if it wanted to be discovered or something. It's shine basically lead me to go and touch it... hopefully let me take it home secretly. But... when I touched it, everything turned white and I... blacked out. I woke up at home all fine and stuff and thought that the gem must've been really fragile or... I don't know. Long story short, a few days after I discovered that I could wield and make things out of crystals and... learned it on my own. I know this may sound crazy, but uh... you can ask my parents about it haha, they've seen everything."

She begins to rub her head in slight embarrassment, thinking that she ended it in an awkward tone.

Luna Vs Amelia Collab Fight Final Part

"You have guts." The new spirit commended, his voice echoing as it came through his helmet, deep but crackling like the flames of a great inferno, before charging Luna. Despite the armor, he was fast and closed the distance quickly before swinging his claymore at her with one hand. Even if Luna blocked the blow, she would find herself being blasted out of the castle and into the courtyard again. The knight walked out, his armor glowing in certain places as the air distorted around him from the heat.

Amelia followed behind, her expression still the same as it was inside. "Don't play around." She said, looking at Luna."I want her taken out."

"You are definitely not one to piss off Miss Averyonna." The knight said, walking over Luna."So, Ecliptic Mage, think you can actually entertain me enough? Or will you grovel on the ground like all mortals but a select few? Then again, all do, given time if they are warriors."

Luna would barely manage to get her weapons up in the way in time to block the attack, but she was still thrown back into the courtyard. She managed to use her halberd to stabilize her landing and end up on her feet. It seemed like this spirit would be able to match her ecliptic armor in both speed and power. "You haven't shown that you're worth groveling to yet. Beat me like I'm nothing, then maybe." She'd be far more ready for an attack this time. Solar Flare had done nothing, as she had guessed, so it seemed that he had an affinity for fire. She could fight that.

Luna dispelled her sword, before holding her hand out. "Blade of Luna!" A white dagger would form in her hand, which she held in a backwards grip. it was as long as her forearm at least, and it created a cold mist around it. While there was no way it could stop that Claymore, she still had the eclipse halberd for that. Taking a breath, she charged the knight full-on, her armor amplifying her speed and strength enough to come close to matching him, if not doing so. As she came close, the eclipse mage slashed with the Halberd. The attack was more to get the Halberd out of the way so she could try to slide under his arm and stab him in the lower back of the knight. She had leaned the hard way that most plate armor was not as thick there, as most of the protection was needed on the front.

"A blade of ice." The spirit said before Luna charged. He said still before planting his blade into the ground. When she swung with her halberd he caught the blade with a single hand before picking it up and over his head, bringing Luna along with it. If she was still hanging on, he would simply slam her into the ground. If she let go in time to continue her attack, she would find his armor withstood her blade."Your tactics are primitive and useless. You will have a tough time defeating me with such feeble attempts."

"You look like you might need some help." Amelia said."After all, in battle, number give the advantage.

Spiritum terra, ejusdem loci custodem vitae
Licet patiens, vos modo irascendum
Let quod ira solveris
Et scias iram inimicorum
"

As she chanted, small orbs of light came out of the green gems on her wings. the orbs were equally green but now had a black center. They sunk into the earth, which began shaking. After a while, it stopped only to the ground beneath Luna and the other spirit to burst open. From it came out a giant creature of earth and gems that let out a roar as it emerged.

Luna would've held onto the halberd, and been yanked up. That wasn't good, but she was smart enough to make the weapon be as cold as possible. She hoped that the cold would make his armor brittle and easy to break, and she yelped as she was slammed onto the ground, letting go of her weapon. Instead of simply trying to stand up, Luna would roll under the Knight's legs and stab her knife at the general direction of the back of his knees, hoping to get it lodged in there. Once she had made her attempt, she didn't make another, and got up as quickly as possible, turning towards her opponent and expecting an attack.

What she did now expect, however, was the sudden earthquake followed by the beast rearing up beneath her. She'd be fast enough to get onto its back as it got up, and she had an idea. She had never tried to summon three weapons at once, but both of her current weapons were near the knight right now. Well, here goes nothing, she thought as she gripped a spike on the monster's back and held her hand out. "Blade of sol!" The weapon formed as a long knife, which surprised Luna, but she managed to hold onto the probably now-bucking rock beast. She started to climb up the spines to the bottom of the beast's neck, holding on tightly, and she soon began stabbing the blade into the cracks in the beast. She was trying to defeat this spirit quickly, so she could get back to the other one.

The warrior spirit barely flinched at het attacks Luna made against him. Instead, he got launched up at well. However, he knew this creature was an ally and didn't bother attacking it. Seeing Luna attempting to do so, he rushed over and grabbed her blade before it sank into the earth primordial. "No such luck." He said, holding out his spare hand. His claymore flew into it and he tossed Luna off before jumping off after her.

Luna would yell as she fell to the ground, and roll several feet. This was going badly, and her knife hadn't gotten stuck like she had wanted it to. She hadn't lost yet however, and she quickly stood back up, facing her opponent. She quickly went over in her head what she had figured out about her opponent so far. His armor did not slow him down, it seemed, but what was under it? Her cold didn't seem to work, so that was out of the question to use again. He was skilled enough to catch her weapon, so she would have to make that undesirable. Or impossible. She tried to think what could she do to make him not want to risk grabbing her weapon. A sword, maybe. Polearms were out of the question, he'd just grab the shaft like he did with her halberd. Maybe... Maybe if she fought him on equal terms. "Alright. Let's play then. Eclipse Blade!" A black claymore would form in her right hand, and she readied herself. "But if we're going to fight fair you're going to have to ask your friend to wait on the sidelines." Swallowing, she moved the sword into a two handed grip.

"Who said anything about playing fair." Amelia said from the background.

"Exactly." The knight spirit said before charging forward. The creature behind him let out a roar, causing spikes of rock and gem to erupt from the ground, all of them aiming to hit Luna while the knight danced around them to continue his assault, sending a one-handed downward strike at Luna once he reached her, the blow just as powerful as the one that had knocked her out of the castle.

Luna would dodge about the gems and rocks popping up around her. She managed to avoid them until the opposing Knight brought down his strike towards her. Luna would bring her new claymore to match his, gripping it with two hands and only wincing a little at the shock wave that would ring out from the attack. Luna's attention, however, would be on her opponents hand. She was anticipating some kind of attempt at a strike or grapple from it as she jumped back away from her opponent. "I guess I'll have to handle the other spirit and get back to you then."

Luna would stab the sword into the ground, and a magic circle would appear over the sun/moon symbol in the crossbar. "Light of the Eclipse!" The area would go dark again, and Luna would spend the moment she would have of being invisible to dash to one side, then at the beast spirit. She'd pass by it's right leg, moving at speeds that the monster would be unable to mimic. As Luna began to slow down, a great slash of light, going through the Creature of Stone's leg, just above the ankle, would cut through the darkness and mark where she had struck the spirit. She was unsure if that would do as much damage as she hoped, but she needed to refocus on the knight-like spirit again before he pummeled her.

The Earth Primordial let out a roar of main as Luna's attack cut through most of it's leg, about half way. It lifted it's injured foot and slammed it on the ground, breaking it off completely but only angering it more. Amelia muttered under her breathe. In this form, her earth spirit was powerful but also... rather dumb. It was an animal and had the mentality of one. She waved her hand and let it disappear, more for the safety of their surroundings and to let it heal then anything else. She looked at her Knight. "Take her down Phlegethon. Just don't burn down the town." She said.

"As you wish." the knight replied before stabbing his sword into the ground. Cracks began appearing along the ground, which was heating up very quickly. Out of the cracks, walls of fire sprouted surrounding Luna and cornering her. Even in her armor, the heat from the flames was stifling and likely to heat up the metal. Phlegethon walked through them with no effort however and approached Luna, his sword now aflame."Take this seriously mortal, or you will know death and swim in my river for all eternity."

Luna would keep her footing as the ground began breaking up underneath her. The giant creature was gone now, so that meant just Phlegethon left to beat, then she would have to hit Amelia. The eclipse mage took a breath, and moved into a stance that would make it hard to move her, and she watched her opponent approach. "What, you think I'm La-de-de-dahing about this fight? I assure you I am taking this seriously." She'd spin her sword once, before reading it again, holding it in both hands. "If you don't mind me asking, can your sword break? Or is it magical, and thus unbreakable?" She'd watch his blade to see what he would do with it, and the fire and heat wouldn't seem to bother her at all.

The spirit was silent for a few seconds before asking a simple question. "Are you familiar with the Five Riders? Or the Four Riders, as your humans seem to prefer to think there is one less." He said

Luna kept her guard up, but humored her opponent. "I've heard them mentioned before, but I haven't gone out and figured out what they are."

"Well, you're looking at one. Your people used to call me by a much simpler name. War." Plegethon said before slamming his fist on the ground and causing a pillar of fire to erupt around Luna, the flames like the inside of a blacksmith's furnace.

Luna would nod as her opponent named himself for what he really was, and when the pillar of fire erupted, she took a quick breath. It had caught her off guard, but she wasn't harmed when it disappeared, and she let herself chuckle softly. Not outwardly acknowledging that she was now sweating. "I'm a Solar Mage, you'd be good to remember that. I'm not as vulnerable to heat and fire as most people, not to mention my armor mitigates it a bit. After all, the sun is pretty damn hot to go slinging around with no problem, eh?" She'd chuckle again, holding her position, and waiting for her opponent to attack. She had a plan.

"Then shall I burn your soul instead of your flesh?" Phlegethon asked

Luna swallowed, but kept her stance. "Feel free to try. Doesn't look like I can stop you, yet."

"You can never stop war until one side wins. That's how conflict is. So how to you stop a war against war?" Phlegethon asked before charging and doing a two handed underswing. If one-handed was enough to knock Luna back a few feet, this would send her flying.

Luna shrugged a little. "I wouldn't call this quite a war. Maybe a battle, but not a war." She'd watch him as he charge, and as he swung Luna would move into a strong stance and block the two handed strike with her weapon, grunting as she did. It was powerful, and another shock wave exploded from the clash, but Luna was not thrown away like the Rider of War had wanted. "But you are not war itself, you are simply the rider. The... Incarnation if you will, which means you aren't invulnerable. Even if your body is, you still have a clear weakness." It'd be clear by her voice that she was gritting her teeth when he attacked, straining to keep it from simply going through her defense.

"And you're growing tired." Phlegethon said, as he began battering away at her with two handed strikes.

"If you want, I'm willing to call this a draw. Just say the word and I'll call him off." Amelia called from the background.

Luna would keep blocking the attacks but she laughed slightly when Amelia said that she could call it a draw. "What, so you can hit me over the head when my back is turned? I don't think so." She'd move to block another attack, one that was coming at a downwards angle, and she moved under the blow. She'd block again, but instead of stopping the attack, the Rider of War's blade would slice it in two, forcing him to continue with the strike. The Eclipse mage, however, would seem to have planned this, and used Phlegethon's moment of being open to try to stab the now broken sword into the gap between the armor and his neck before rolling past him to try and avoid his next inevitable strike, and running for the nearest of her fallen weapons.

The strike to the neck hit home and Phlegethon stopped for a moment. Then he turned around to face Luna and laughed.
"You know, you were smart to leave this in here." He said, pointing to the hilt of the weapon in his neck."Of course, you can take it out, but that would not result well for the city. I got to wonder how many blocks would be destroyed. A millennium of building up power could be a problem, when it's all released at once."

"Phlegethon, enough. She can't win against you, and she knows it." Amelia said."Take it out, you're fine. If there was a gap there, it means you were containing the power in that area anyway."

"You need to learn about psychological warfare Miss Averyonna." Phlegethon replied, pulling the blade out and tossing it aside.

"I'm offering her a draw, but she seems to think I'll just stab her in the back. But what's the point, the event should be almost over by now." Amelia said

Luna would get to the blade of Sol, picking up the long knife and facing the Rider of War again. While it was clear by her body language she wasn't happy that the attack had done absolutely nothing, and she rolled her shoulders as she stood up, now between him and Amelia. "Well, that Mellennium of pent up power is going to have to wait until some other fight, as you've forgotten your one, glaring, major weakness." Luna would turn, before charging full speed at Amelia, getting to her sooner than Phlegethon could, and attempting to slam the pommel of the weapon against Amelia's head, trying to knock her out.

Amelia was surprised when Luna got close to her and even more surprised when the pommel of Luna's weapon slammed into her head and knocked her to the ground. She was dazed but not out.Phlegethon did not move, watching as Amelia took a few seconds to get to her feet. "That barely hurt. I'm suffered much worse and I will not give in until the event is over." She said. Her vision was foggy at best and another blow like that might do her in, but that would still leave Phlegethon. Not that her magical power wasn't near empty anyway, she couldn't maintain him much longer. Luna seemed to have plenty of stamina and looked like she hadn't even cast a spell yet, despite using so many big ones.

Luna would roll her eyes as Amelia got up and tried to smack-talk, but it was clear that it had had effect, so Luna hit again. She wanted to knock Amelia down before Phlegethon got there and attacked from behind. This time, Luna slammed the pommel into the bottom of Amelia's chin, before doing a strike a little weaker than a good punch across her jaw. Luna hoped that would knock her out, and she glanced back at Phlegethon to see if he disappeared, or was about to attack her.

"Even if you take her down, I will remain until her magical power runs out." Phlegethon said nonchalantly.

Amelia wasn't able to get to her feet this time but she barely managed to get to her knees, bare conscious now.

Luna would look over at him, and shrug slightly before hitting Amelia again. "Maybe so, but this keeps her from trying to summon something else to hit me while I deal with you, and so we can have a peaceful little fight until she runs out of magic power. But I'll give her a bit of credit, she's pretty tough. If she were to get some good martial training, she'd be a force to be reckoned with, between her spirits and her ability to take forever to go down." The eclipse mage let the helmet of her armor fade away, seemingly unworried about fighting now, and more willing to talk. She knew that she had probably just gotten whatever points there were for beating another player, and between Amelia and those two Golems, she silently swore that there'd be havoc if she didn't get at least second place.

"From what I've gleaned, that toughness is natural, unlike those wings of hers. And yes those are real. Sadly, her magical power is almost up, as is yours no doubt. If it isn't, I would say you cheated, but all is fair in war." Phlegethon said as Amelia finally went down

Luna would look at the wings, and shrug a little. "They're kind of pretty, if odd." She'd start to reach down to touch one, but stopped and turned back to the knight she had been fighting. "I've still got a good bit of magical power left, I couldn't do the whole fight over again. I, uh, tend to hold back because I don't want to hurt people more than I have to. I went full-out on the Golems and that rock monster, and you never gave me the opportunity to me to throw everything I've got at you without risking me getting myself hurt too much. Not to mention I didn't want either of our guilds to end up billions in debt from damage to the Castle." She'd let a slight blush rise in her cheeks, and she'd chuckle a little, holding her weapon ready still.

"Other then the fact that it has spires of rock and gem all over it. You should've accepted her offer then so she could get rid of them." Phlegethon said before him time was up and he sank into the ground

Luna would chuckle softly at the last comment, and nod as her last opponent disappeared. Smiling softly, the Eclipse mage would let her armor fade as she picked up Amelia and propped her up against a statue, before turning to the Castle, ready to delve its depths finally.

Ariel
@Caits
Since Tidius didn't look like he was going to help, Ariel picked herself up off the ground. "Sure thing. I totally know how to do that." She huffed sarcastically as she smoothed out her skirt slightly. Stepping over to the clouds with a hand out she tried to get a feel for what was in front of her. Closing her eyes she tried to concentrate on summoning the spirits.

One of the spirits started to take form. The cloud turned blue and purple and swirled around into a woman with purple hair and blue and violet butterfly wings. The new spirit blinked several times before looking at Ariel and Tidius. She seemed mighty confused until a key materialized in Ariel's hand. "What the... I didn't even make a contract yet." The shock of having a key seemed to pale in comparison to the spirit in front of her. Ariel seemed to recognize her. "F-Fiona?"

Tidius
@t2wave

Tidius purshed his lips in thought, as Ariel had a key in her hand. He studied the situation, pondering it for a moment. "You said you used this magic before, correct? But nothing happened? That you passed out, rather. Perhaps these spirits appeared and you were unable to deal with such magic at that time?" He said, trying to figure out what was happening, but without all the right information, he had nothing he could go on.

Master Jamie

Jamie had to stop his search for Mithera, as she saw on a lacrima screen the end of the battle between Amelia and Luna. Jamie darted towards the castle, and Amelia, worried that the young mage was hurt badly, approaching the castle grounds, watching the spirit warily. Jamie knew nothing about this spirit, and didn't want to get on the wrong side of it.

"is she alright?"

The timer now read 04:23.

Games Master sheldon

"Tut tut tut! Bad Bad Bad Luna, you can't enter the castle right now!" Games Master Sheldon chuckled, appearing in front of the castle, a wide grin on his face, clapping his hands in glee.

Announcer Jessie

Jessie had been on the edge of her seat the whole event, focused on the fight between Phoenix Wing and Iron Enigma, not paying attention to much else that was happening, wide eyed. "OH my, what a exciting fight! it's hard to tell who came off better in that battle, the young Phoenix Wing Wizard Amelia got some good shots in there, but lost the battle. I suppose that Games Master Sheldon will tell us more!"

Sasha

Sasha smiled at the story, wishing hers was better, or at least slightly more...light then it was. She nodded, knowing it was a pretty common story with magic. Marelene must have had some knowledge of the gem, before stouching it even if she hadn't knowing about it. "it's a lovely story" She said softly, "I was alone at a young age, and my master taught me, this really old, cranky man. But he taught me a lot about ice make magic. taught me the beauty in it, and the deadliness of it"

Argus Leandros

As Thor walked away from the park, they would suddenly be knocked down as somebody blindsided them from the right. After a few moments of awkwardly untangling from each other, the lightning mage woukd find themselves facing a strange looking young man with maroon red hair and eyes, the sclera of which was completely black. He was wearing some well-worn traveling clothes, as well as a few plates of armor placed over his vitals, the nicks and dents in them showing that he was definitely no stranger to combat. Rubbing the back of his head, the young man stood up, hand out-stretched to help the shorter mage up, as his full height was a slightly intimidating 6 ft, though his smile was warm and genuine as he began to apologize.

"I'm sorry there, I was making my way towards the Frenzy Plant camp, but I guess I needed to pay more attention to what was in front of me, huh?" Chucklinh at his joke, the man stretched a bit and made sure he hadn't injured anything in the fall. "My name's Argus Leandros, by the way, and it's nice to meet you." Argus held out hus band towards the cloaked figure again, this time wanting them to shake it as a form of greeting.

Nero the Genie – Dragon Fang Hotel

From the start, Nero was dead set on exposing the Time Lord as a fraud or at least an idiot. In his eyes there was no other option: either the man was deliberately misleading Eve, or he had accidentally harmed her through ignorance of her condition. Of course, the dark mage had expected the Time Lord to retort with an assault against Nero's character -as people often did when standing atop indefensible positions- but he had not quite expected the other man's response to be so impactful. The nonsense about genies and conclusions did not affect Nero, given that they were straws reached for to try and demonize him. What came after, however, caused him to freeze, still smiling. For a split second before the word 'pretending' sank in, he was indignant and ready to interrupt, as patronizingly and annoyingly as he could. Then it hit him. Oh...dear, he thought, slowly. He got me. He figured me out. I do care about what everyone thinks, a whole lot, but since I don't know how to make them think well up me, I play up being worse than I actually am. People like to think that their per-judgments are right, after all. But how did he find out!? It must be magic!

Nero didn't move as the Time Lord spoke on, soft and menacing. A bead of sweat began to form on his forehead. He's got some kind of insight. There's no way he could have figured it out otherwise. My facade is too good. And how does he have knowledge of my doings? Sure, the Genie's kind of famous, but I've always tried to keep it on the down-low. This...poltroon is trying to make me out to be some pathetic kid who thinks he's bad because he doesn't know how to be good. Well, you're in for a rude awakening.” For a moment he forgot about Ayame and Eve, and the air began to grow tense with a rising power. Nothing, however, came of that. Instead, he fixated on the Time Lord himself, who had turned his back on Nero. Apparently the egotistical swine was so convinced of his righteousness that he didn't even think Nero could challenge him. And he was trying to attach himself to Eve! Nero seethed; he couldn't do anything decisive now that the Time Lord had involved his friends. He's a cunning dickweed, I'll give him that. After hesitating for a moment, Nero reached out with a gloved hand and took hold of the Time Lord's shoulder. He had hatched a plan. ”Hey, don't be so quick to push me away. If you think I'm not a bad man, I'd be overjoyed to prove you wrong. But with these girls I'm different. Anyone who doesn't think the worst of me is worth my good side. It'd be a lie to say I want to cooperate with you, but...maybe we're wrong about each other. We're actually a lot alike. Both fugitives from the magic council, both wantin' to help Eve, so on. And hey, maybe you're her son from the future and not just another guy tryin' to take advantage of someone with issues. As someone with issues, and who's been taken advantage of, I know the type. If you'll respect me...maybe you'll be worth it too.”

Nero's smile now was slight, barely a curve of the mouth and with no teeth exposed. A twinge of sadness had affected him, one not originating from his own heart, but the vacuous marble of melancholy in his pouch. ”Whether we like one another or not, Eve likes us both, and we can't keep hatin' one another with her in the middle. It'll only cause her problems. What you need is to wish for a truce. If you wish it, I will grant it.” He held out a gloved hand, presumably to shake. "If not...well, you don't want to be the guy who decided to choose petty conflict when it's a dark mage offerin' compromise, do ya?"

FERRIS
"As valiant as she was it seemed like it wasn't enough for Emilia to defeat Luna. In the end she was too much for the Phoenix Wing mage to handle. Luna is an S Class mage for a reason so it's to be expected that she wouldn't be taken down so easily by an A Class mage. There was a hint of disappointment in his tone. While he should've been neutral to which guild he should support due to his position he was still secretly rooting for Phoenix Wing. "It seems like Phoenix Wing isn't doing as well as they did yesterday. Hopefully they will earn points during the matches."

NOLAN
This round had some interesting turn of events. An airship nearly crash landed into Crocus and it looks like Amelia was overwhelmed by the Iron Enigma mage. Jamie seemed to had rushed off for her to get her medical treatment though was wary of the unknown spirit that accompanied Amelia. In all honesty he didn't expect her to lose to the Eclipse Mage with that monstrous spirit by her side. Well, it was less than a loss and really more like they both agreed to not destroy the town though it seemed like Luna overall did the most damage. He was engrossed with the fight that he didn't even notice that Marlene was sitting not that far away from him.

Dalton's nose twitched. A familiar scent caught his senses and he turned to see the source of it. Sitting next to Sasha was Marlene chatting with her. He grabbed Nolan's arm and tugged it. "Uh, isn't that the same chick that panty flashed you this morning?"

Nolan was sipping a can of soda as he turned to look at who the Exceed was talking about. Sure enough he was right. The God Slayer spat the soda from his mouth. His cheeks were rosy red from remember the view he got this morning. "W-why is she here?!"

Jack Goran|Dragon Fang Seating

"If this involves your foolish gamble, I will keep my thoughts to myself. Despite my numerous warnings against it, you insist on betting." Master Jack watched Ammy's progress, who had dispatched several more suits of armor plus a fairly large carnivorous bird. Perhaps it was fortunate that his X-Class wizard hadn't run across another contestant, he wasn't sure anyone could match her level, though he was sure there was someone who wasn't letting all their strength show.

James Hunt|Phoenix Wing Seating

James looked away from the screen to Nolan. "You didn't know she'd joined the guild?"

Cloaked Woman

"Oh." They weren't actually looking to take it, then. "Well, that's fine, then." The woman jumped down from the deck to the ground. She looked up at the ship, studying it for a moment before the offer from Nash caught her ear. "Aah, no, that won't be necessary. I have someone in mind to look at this." The woman approached Nash, extending her hand. "I have to thank your guild for saving the ship, no matter the case. I was worried something was going to happen. It almost did, but your, uh... giant whale really saved the day. Just set it down somewhere safe, I'll have my person look at it."

Kregor had escaped. She was going to have to isolate him somehow. Now would be a good time, but she'd have to find him first. That magic of his was very convenient for hiding...

Trinity Stratos

Trinity looked at Karn and then back at Penny. He really didn't seem to be doing so well, but Penny was asking her about her kidnapping. "Well, I was going to work with Mithera to put on a street performance. I found a good spot to practice, when Ryan Kregor of Nightshade Silphium stepped out. He had no interest in Mithera, and worked to capture only me. He knocked me out and I woke up on their airship. They put some kind of... magic inhibitor bracelets on me. Damian and... some woman showed up to rescue me. Cut the bracelets off and away we went."

Luna --- Crocus Maze
Luna would be slightly surprised when the Games Master appeared in front of her, and she crossed her arms. Partially to look defiant, and partially to cover a bloodstain that had started to soak through her clothes on her left side from when Phlegethon had hit her outside the first time. "F-fine then." Luna would turn around and start walking back out, stumbling after her second step after a moment. She would almost fall over, but she'd recover fairly quickly, but it was clear that the fight had taken more out of her than she was letting on. After her stumble, she'd walk with her back straight and her head high, but she'd keep covering her injury. "I guess I'll find someone or something else to fight" She'd smirk slightly, trying to sound tough, but she just ended up sounded silly. As she walked off, trying to hold herself tall and strong, showing as little injury as she could. Maybe they're going to use the castle for another game. She'd think to herself as she got to the courtyard entrance, glancing back at the castle quickly.

Ryan began pouting as he continued watching the battle. His eyes widened though as his bet won. "Yeah! No Cowboy Boots!" He danced in place a little and cheered. He watched the battles more intently as he felt confident by his latest win. He looked at his watch and frowned. He had a few minutes to place some more bets if he wanted. Ryan glanced at Jack and shook his head. No need to disappoint his master further.

"So, are you gonna eat another twenty of those? Cause I'm not sure my wallet could take the hit." Joshua said to Amaya as she finished her twentieth popsicle. He had to wonder how many she could eat in a day if she could eat all she wanted.

Delsin Jones

@Burthstone (forgive me)

Delsin was on a rooftop not far from Luna and Amelia. He had taken out several monsters on the way here. He was happy to see that Amelia had lived through the fight and that Jamie was going to take care of her. He pulled his pistol up and lined up his shot.
"Nothing against you Ma'am but these are serious games. Tactics was the objective. If you come across two enemies fighting, wait until the battle is over and take out the weaker one." He said to himself before firing an explosive shot at Luna. While the explosion wouldn't kill her, it might worse any possible injuries or even knock her out."But if you do hold it against me, we can settle this later, I'm sure."

Amelia Averyonna and Phlegethon
@Caits

"She'll be fine... for a few minutes, until the price is extracted. Keep an eye on her." Phlegethon said to Jamie before he vanished completely.

Amelia groaned as Jamie approached her and opened her eyes slightly.
"Mister... Jarvis?" She asked in a weak and pained voice.

Thor

Near Frenzy Plant

Argus

Thor was dragging themselfs back to the Frenzy Plant encampment to train a little more with what they had there and eventually get some rest. It's been a good 32 houres since Thor had last slept and the electricity she had been sending to her brain didn't keep her to much longer awake either. Thor's focus was almost completly gone since Thor was only thinking about sleep right about now. Thor noticed a guy flying their way but was to late to do anything about it and was quickly taken down with him "Oof" Thor landed on the ground with the guy landing on top of them. As soon as they hit the ground Thor immediatly turned their body into lightning not really caring if they shocked the guy or not and landed next to him in a defensive fight pose. Thor was lightly panting and looked very tired. Their legs and arms were completly covered in bruises and the sweat was for the most part still on their forehead.

Looking closer now the man seemed friendly and not in any way ready for combat either way so it was fine to drop the defense for now. Thor looked up at him with cold excausted eyes and noticed his weird red eyes with black eyes. Thor wanted to write what that was about but was to tired to even get some paper or even standing upright. Every 2 seconds Thor needed to focus again to keep themself upright. Another shock would for sure help right now so Thor sended another jolt of electricity to their brain which hurted quite a bit in fact. Thor grabbed hold of the back of their neck and gritted their teeth. It felt a little better now and the sleep was mostly gone but it still hurted like hell. Thor shook their head a little and could focus a little better for now. They listened to their small talk and took the pen and paper and franticlly started writing "It's fine, could have dodged it but to sleepy. Name = THOR and me was just heading back to the camp. We can walk together?" Thor looked a few seconds at him when he held out his hand but shook their head widely "Don't want to hurt. No shaking today." Thor could have tried shaking the man his hand but a lot of focus was required to even just touch something without electrocuting it. Thor gave a yawn and taught of a previous question that was intresting them "Why so weird eyes?" Thor wrote down and showed him before starting to walk.

Luna
Luna would glance up before an explosion rang out and threw her across the ground. She'd yell some once she hit the ground, and when she stopped rolling she'd start to get up, only to yell in pain and roll onto her back. Rubbing her right shoulder, the solar mage would take a few deep breaths before trying to get up using only her legs, but her growing dizziness would keep her on the ground. The red stain of blood seeping through her clothes on the left side would be quickly exacerbated, and she'd start to go pale. Going slowly, the Luna would manage to use her left arm and legs to stand up, and she'd stumble over to a wall, using it for support and trying to cover her injury.

Luna would put her left arm on it and press as best she could, grunting through the pain, and looking up at her attacker. Or, more in his general direction as her vision was a tad blurry. She had no chance of winning a fight at this point, not even against a C-Class wizard, but she was going to at least try to last until time ran out. It couldn't last much longer, could it? Luna pointed her free hand at the general direction of the figure, grunting softly. "Solar Flare!" The attack would have almost no chance to hit, she knew, but she hoped it'd distract him for a moment while she started for the nearest something that could stop an attack. What was his first attack? Other than an explosion. She didn't see any kind of bolt before it happened, she remembered that, but she didn't think it was just a spontaneous explosion, and she was unsure if she could get up after a second one. She had to thank rigorous training with the other S-Classes for being able to get up at this point, and cursed herself for being weak enough to be about to go down already. Swallowing, and using some of her dwindling magic power, she cast one on the last spells she'd be able to. "Solar Armor!" The armor formed, but it was much dimmer than before, and lacked the wings this time.

Magni - Frenzy Plant Camp

You know, Magni's life had gotten a lot wierder when he decided to involve himself with people rather than himself. First, someone was throwing their own disembodied head like it was some sort of casual thing to do, there was a giant humanoid whale was holding an entire ship up with only its hands, there was more than one of those immensely power humanoid creatures in the world, and the strangest of all is why would a bunch of random strangers allow someone like himself to join this strange corp of mages. As the Antimage spared another moment on this train of thought, his fingers instinctively were forming to dig their way into Xyster's eye sockets... What? It was the easiest way to hold onto a dark mage's face, and it also doubled in as torture! Don't blame him.

However, the Antimage's glance towards the soon to be impact on his hand revealed that he would be doing some type of damage on the Dullahan, so with a blur of speed, the Dullahan's head was soon placed upon the palm of Magni's hand, holding it just like a waiter would do with a tray of food. To be honest, it looked like Magni was about to do the whole Hamlet's monologue on that field, but he just stared blankly at the talking head. It was funny though, Magni held alot of severed heads, but this is the first one that spoke to him... Funny. So, as Xyster pulled her hand out, Magni flicked his wrist and the head went soaring straight into her reach. "Ha." spoke Magni. Wait, was that his laugh towards the pun? Or, was he just being sarcastic? Either way, it was the first time he had done either of those things.

"A 'Ha' indeed! That was a well executed pun I must say so myself. A pun that people can die from!" chuckled the Jester. He was sure that no one could hear his little remark, but all things were possible in this little cute realm! Still, he remained hidden within the tree line of the camp and watching like any kind of regular creep with his goal of sitting through and watching the weapon training from the Hermit's little friends. It was always nice to catch up on some training on his rusty weapon skills as it was pretty hard to keep track and practice every single type of weapon and style there is inside of the world in one session! So, Jack remained invisible doing some practice swings on the various weapons he had taken along with his trip and was ready to do something else fun when the time came for him to do so.
