Marlene Evangeline

As her fist would try to punch Ariel, it was stopped by Nolan's katana. Somehow it was strong enough to deflect her punch and tried to push her away. What the actual FUCK was she doing?! She is acting like a damn psychotic and yet she knows it! Her body and outer emotions were working on its own, as if they completely cut out of her mind! She was now pleading for her body to stop, PLEADING!

"BODY STOP!!!" she yells internally in her mind as she tries to resist the temptation to kill, "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS MADNESS?! M-MUST... R-RESIST! C-C-C'MON!!!"

Yet it still wouldn't listen.

"Enough! I don't want to hurt you Marlene!" she can hear Nolan from deep within.

"N-Neither do I!" she tries to speak, but only comes from within her mind, "F-Forgive me Nolan-sama~ er N-Nolan! MY BODY IS MOVING ON ITS OWN! I-I HAVE NO CONTROL!"

The next thing she knows, glowing white cuffs and shackles made of souls appeared around her wrist and ankles. While her emotions struggled crazily to get out, Marlene was actually routing for Nolan from the inside.

T-That's i-it..." she thinks to him, though it cannot be unheard, "Lock me in place. I really d-don't want to kill anyone, I swear!"

Yet the more she tries to plead and calm down, the more her emotions get fired up.

"Run! I can't defend and fight at the same time!"

And as Ariel tries to run, Marlene's emotions have now literally lost her shit. The shackles begin to crack as they suddenly give off, allowing the freedom of THE BEAST! Knocking past Nolan, she begins to run and act almost like a wild animal, panting hard as she tries to catch Ariel. The emotions were voraciously pissed, but inside Marlene was sobbing in grief.

"W...Why...?" she cries to herself, "What am I doing? This isn't the way I would've acted... I would've just stood back! Idk... maybe he was lying earlier because he already had a GF... maybe this was a girl to provide him with therapy... w-wait... it couldn't be, no... the-there's this magic... I-I feel it! T-this isn't natural at all! He s-should be afraid o-of me AND that g-girl! Was this t-the power of magic that was at w-work...? W... Was this why my body is going berserk? I-Is this the reason why~?"

But before she could answer her own question, she pounces swiftly on the defenseless Ariel...

Cody saw the green-haired woman break off of her shackles, smack the man away and start chasing after the other woman. Not good.
He bit his thumb nervously. He had no combat magic whatsoever, and his magic could only be used to stop attacks. He also had no combat training at all and-Wait. One. Moment.
She was ATTACKING the woman. Cody sighed deeply before rubbing his temples. His inexperience in such situations almost got the better of him.
"Thank god for my calm head." Cody thought, taking a deep breath before running out in front of the green-haired woman.
He calmly pointed the palm of his hand at her as she closed in, his shut eyes now suddenly opening as a barrier of magic appeared in front of him.
"Absolute Shield, Activated." He muttered, groaning under the effort of stopping the attack flush on. Sparks flew as he poured more magic into stopping the attack and even after he had, he tumbled back a few steps from the sheer force of the blow.

"You're right, but it would not look good for either of our guilds if you got involved right now, so you'd be doing yourself a favor." James watched Marlene break free and take off after Ariel. "Crap!" James leaped forwards, his free hand leaving the sword hilt to forma golden orb of light, but yet another person blocked the attack first. Where are all these random mages coming from? He dismissed the orb of light and glanced back at Nolan, unsure of what to do here. "Divine Protection." A soft golden light enveloped Ariel that would protect her briefly if Marlene attacked again, but he wasn't really in position to actually do an effective shield between the pair. "Artemis, I could use your help. Please."

Eve - Bold Tone Creamery

Another rather awkward silence filled the room, this was similar to the breakfast scene with... Eve's smile twitched just a little. Remembering such a thing would not be the best for everyone at the moment, but her eyes glanced towards her rose-tinted lacrima still shoved within her pocket. The Necromancer shifted her weight around her legs with an uneasy look on her face, her mind questioning if she should speak with him. Leaving with such negative emotions seemed to not fit well with her gut. However, before Eve could get further into her mind about the situation, she looked up towards Nero with her smile regaining back to her original composure, talking with him should be able to ease her mind away from the bad memories. Although, as she focused on her friend, he seemed to be in some sort of bad mood as well.

Eve shifted around uncomfortably, her large arms folding against each other Nero started to hesitantly tell her the reasons about why he had cast the spell only minutes ago. He was being slightly awkward about it, an emotion that he was most likely not used to which made Eve suppress a chuckle, and as he continued to speak it seemed that his words were genuine. The Necromancer looked down on the ground, her mind trying to think of something to say before looking up towards Nero with a light smile on her face, she would need to try to brighten up her friend. "C'mon, I don't think your selfish person! You don't seem to be from the sea!" Eve tried to joke towards Nero, she wasn't a comedian, but that was funny! Right? Since, you know, selfish and shellfish... Eve was feeling stupid. Though as Nero slumped down into his chair, she took a step forward towards him before that stranger commented on her weight, and it was that stranger from outside.

"Oh! Um... Yeah, I guess I was... Heh," Eve mumbling at that point, rubbing her hands together before Nero started to speak with a different attitude than just a few seconds ago. The Necromancer was surprised to find the sudden shift in Nero, but it seemed that they would need to be somewhere more private to try to get Nero out of his shell... At least he was confident again, though she knew that he most likely feeling quite different on the inside.

Scratching the back of her head while Nero was discussing something about someone, she glanced towards Ayame's usual position behind Nero and waved at her with a comforting smile. It didn't take too long before a certain someone put their arms around the two, a rather familiar position that Eve had gotten used to, although his arm was having trouble completely wrapping around her new size. Though as Nero mentioned some place that was to test out their magic, it made her uneasy. The Necromancer hasn't used her power willingly for quite some time... So, she would just watch... She didn't need to use her powers at all! Watching is good.

He kept his face in his hands. "I'm waiting. I don't see how your team member is going to win this one." He chuckled, wiping the tears of laughter away.

He looked at Sasha with a monotonous gaze. "Nothing. I just have something to do..." He heard Shujin's jeers before reacting wildly and instantly, cutting off his conversation with Sasha. "Come on Karn! Beat this woman down!" He yelled into the ring.

Gabriel thought it wrong that all they were doing was trying to stop Marlene. Ignoring the guy trying to get him to go away, Gabriel moved forward, shivering at the feel of magic around them. "Marlene! Please, stop this!" he said, putting himself on Marlene's side, rather then behind the barriers the other mages had erected. "what good would come from hurting that girl? She already looks like she's been through something, and it won't make yourself feel better!" the words tumbled out of Gabriel's mouth, and he didn't seem at all surprised by them despite the fact a few hours ago he had done something similar with Nero. "so please stop!"

Through his opponent off guardm before slamming them with his magic? "what something do you have to do?" she asked Lazarus after a moment

Jamie had a good idea of where to start to look for Mithera, and assuming that Lucas would follow, he headed back to iron enigmas hotel, unsurprised to see the "guard" who had interfered leaving. Jamie smiled and followed him. Someone always returned back to the scene of a crime, and this guy was no solider, no guard. Jamie was sure he had seen him around the arena.

It also didn't escape Jamie's notice that he was using a disguise. Which Jamie realized only because he had the same
Walk, such an rooky mistake, really. Decided to make sure, Jamie took out another lacRmia and used it to see through the illusion, nodding with satisfaction

@Lunarlors34 As Marlene began to pounce on Ariel, she was stopped by a shield from the newcomer Cody. Sparks flew everywhere as he poured more magic into stopping the attack and even after he had, he tumbled back a few steps from the sheer force of the blow. Yet that shield was weak compared to the rage of Marlene.

"CRYSTAL MAKE: CLAWWWWWWWWWWWS!!!" roars the emotions of Marlene as her fingers turned into crystaline claws as swipes at the shield with all of her might, utterly destroying it as she'll push him away.

Next on the list was James, as he uses Divine Protection on Ariel, wanting to save her in case the crazed psychopath manages to get to her. Again, compared to Marlene's enraged strength, even that won't be enough to stop her as she begins to rip that into pieces!

"NEVER!!!" Marlene's emotions roar again as she continues slashing through the shield, "ONCE I GET TO THIS BITCH I WILL! GRAAAAAAAAAHHHH!"

Marlene was getting close into successfully killing the girl, and yet if only one could read her inner mind, this wasn't true. She was berserk... nothing more. A flash of jealously flashed in her eyes... she's trying to stop it now.

"NO NO NO! she screams internally as she tries to hold back, "RESIST RESIST! WHY ARE YOU IGNORING ME YOU STUPID BODY?! WE'RE NOT A TEENAGER ON HER FIRST PERIOD DAMNIT!"

And then, she manages to rip through the Divine Protection casted by James, and raises her claws to deal the final blow.

"DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" her emotions roared.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" her mind screams as she was going to make the final~

"URK?"

It was then that Marlene had suddenly stopped, as if she were frozen in place. Her eyes try to move rapidly to see what hit her. Yet everyone can already tell what did... a golden arrow, filled with magical aura, pierced her back. Marlene began to feel whoozy as she stumbles for a bit, fading into black.

"T-Thank y-you..."

And then she fell to the ground with a thump, blacking out in the progress.

Who shot the arrow you may ask? Several meters away, a woman with golden hair, beautiful physique, and a fashion sense to match, draws her bow down to assess the scene. Coming back from a several month mission, comes one of the greatest archers in Fiore and most certainly the prettiest of them. Meet... Samir Saron.

"Ladies and Gentlemen," she answers with a soft, but firm voice like a goddess, "She's been tranquilized. Thank you for distracting her."

James had already been in the midst of throwing another Divine Protection on Ariel when the arrow impacted. His instincts didn't allow him time to think of what exactly had happened, they just moved him. He moved forward swiftly, the shrill sound of his sword coming free of it's sheath echoing through the suddenly quiet street as he slid between his downed guild mate and the identified woman. His shield glowed with golden energy and he held his sword poised over the edge. "Identify yourself and why did you shoot my guild mate?"

Damian Gerard|Phoenix Wing Hotel

Getting out of the shower, Damian set to getting shaved and cleaned up for his date that night, but turned on the lacrima tuned to the Games to let it run in the background. He glanced at it, watching Karn fight and smiled. The guy had an unorthodox approach, but the S-Class mage didn't doubt his abilities. In fact, he was counting on the shapeshifter to make a pretty epic win.

NOLAN, ENMA, and LEVI

Why, why was this happening? What in the world could've set her off this badly? Why was she acting so crazy?! Sure she was a bit off, but who would've thought that she was this much of a nut case?! Ugh, this couldn't give him more a headache even if it tried! Talk about a hellish day! First Marlene snuck into his room and damn well gave him a freaking surprise, then he finds out his siblings were actually alive and his brother is still an asshole, goes off to rescue Ariel from some wacko in an underground cave, kissed her, and now had to deal with an enraged Marlene! It somehow ended up coming back fuel circle. Just thinking about today turned an already pounding headache into something truly unbearable. His eyes felt like they were going to pop out of his skull as if his head was being squeezed between two giant hands. "Stop...god dammit stop!" Hermes disappeared back into its pocket dimension and Nolan held his palms horizontally apart. A suffocating amount of magic power exuded from him, almost like it would crush whoever was around him. His pupils turned white and it seemed like all of that power he exuded was gathering between his palms. "Black Dharma: Un-" Before Nolan could finish preparing whatever dangerous technique he was going to use he saw Marlene was shot down with an arrow in her back.

"Marlene!" That magic pressure that he released under that stressful situation subsided and his pupils reverted back to normal. A woman with golden hair and unparalleled beauty revealed herself to be the one who knocked Marlene out. Unlike James he didn't show any hostility towards the woman though he still held his fear towards her as he did with most women so he kept his distance. "Thank you ma'am..."

From the crowds Enma burst and rushed forward to see what the commotion was. "Nolan I could feel your power shoot through the roof! What-?" He saw Marlene lying on the floor and the golden haired woman standing there. The oni looked back at Nolan, back at the woman, back to Nolan, and then to Gabriel who was standing there too. "I need context here."

Levi rushed over to Cody's side in a panic. "H-hey are you okay? You look like you got hurt even with that barrier of yours!" He helped Cody up back to his feet and glanced back at the group. "What in the world was going? It looked like it was going to turn into a bloodbath."

Mark Zerrit and Luna Cathris -- Arena Infirmary to Crocus Streets

As the last match of the day began, Mark inquired with one of the nurses as to whether it would be okay for Luna to leave. He figured it'd be best if she got to sleep in her own guilds hotel, instead of the infirmary, and that they wanted to leave before the games ended for the day and the streets became flooded with all the people who were sitting in the Arena at that very moment. The nurse informed him that as long as Luna was feeling up to it it should be fine. Mark would nod, and head back to Luna, who was still lying on the bed given to her, reading a magazine. "Hey, Luna, you feel like you can head back to the hotel? I figure you'll probably rest better there. Not to mention if we leave now then we won't really have to worry about the crowds."

Luna would nod, putting down the magazine and sitting up in the bed. "I guess I could head back." She'd say as she began to slip out of bed. "I'm feeling less woozy than I was anyways, so I should be able to walk just fine. My arms still hurt a bit though." Sliding out of the bed and to her feet, she'd look up at mark and smile softly. "Thanks for hanging out with me and keeping me company."

"Hey, don't worry about it. You're my guild mate and my team member." He smiled and ruffled Luna's hair. "Let's go." Luna nodded.

The merry couple headed out into the streets of Crocus without much delay. Luna was still feeling a little off, but they knew that they had plenty of time before the last fight ended and they were swamped by a crowd of spectators eager to find out what would happen next. They walked for a good half-hour before they finally came to a hotel, but Luna quickly figured out tiwas the wrong one. "Hey, Mark, this is Phoenix Wing's hotel, not ours." Mark blinked, realizing his younger guild member was, in fact, correct.

"Oh, really? Dammit. My mistake, uh, crap. I don't actually know where our hotel is then." Luna giggled, and rolled her eeyess, looking around for anyone that could possibly help. Even if they were a Phoenix Wing guild member, it was better than just wandering the city for hours looking for their hotel when they had no idea where to even begin.

She could hear that the others were trying to stop Marlene. For whatever reason the woman seemed hell bent on rending Ariel. She heard someone drop behind her and a voice call out what sounded like good news. Glancing back she saw Marlene on the ground with an arrow in her back. There weren't that many archers in Phoenix Wing as far as Ariel knew. But there were a lot of people in Crocus so it could be anyone.

But that wasn't much of a concern right now. Her life wasn't in danger as far as she could tell. Leaning over she began to catch her breath. By now she was also rather emotionally spent. It would be early for her to go to sleep but honest it sounded really good right now.

As the green haired woman clawed at the shield, tearing entire chunks of it in the process, Cody felt his strength ebb as he had to pour more and more magic into stopping her attacks. He fell onto his knees, gritting his teeth as he could barely hold off her attacks before suddenly his shield shattered in front of him.
"S**t!" Cody covered his head to protect himself from the attack that never came.
Suddenly an arrow came out of no-where and struck the woman in the back.
"T-Thank y-you..." She muttered before collapsing onto the ground. Levi rushed over and had helped Cody up and was saying something, but he didn't quite catch it.
Everything blurred around him for a moment as he stumbled a bit, before looking up at James as he heard the word guild.
"Guild? What guild?" As his suddenly dizziness was just as suddenly gone.

Location: Streets of Crocus

She could help but clap from what she seen. "Bravo bravo!" She chanted happily as she heard Samir's entrance. She was starting to think all these random events on the streets were actual serious events, but they were all just street performers in her mind. That magic performance with that red hair wizard swirling around magic and that smokescreen with him gone and somehow getting two people stripped, Simply a magnificent show. Now another street performance here, she thought it was another great timing.

Earlier, she enjoyed watching the Games at the arena. But with the sudden delay of the next battle she quickly grew bored and told Dru she was leaving the arena to find something else to do while waiting. She was afraid that she was going to be stuck with this boredom for the day, but with these performances, her boredom flowed away as if it was pushed away by a rushing river of enjoyment. "Again, again. Encore!" saying as she laughed with a happy expression across her face.

With several nods she had repaid the thanks of her action on subduing Marlene.

"Identify yourself and why did you shoot my guild mate?" James asks.

"So I've been forgotten already?" the archer responds in a jokingly manner, "Hmph. No matter. I've been away on so many long missions I'm not even that surprised."

She walks over to where Marlene laid and tapped her with her boot. The girl didn't move, but was still breathing. The archer takes out the arrow that she fired gingerly from Marlene's back.

"Don't worry," she responds, "She's not dead. I shot her with a tranquilizer arrow. This will put her to sleep for a few more hours."

She then looks at everyone else.

"Oh and of course. Samir Saron everyone. "Heavenly Archer" if that rings a bell to any of you."

She then looks at the applauding Kaitlyn DeRoe and winks at her as a thank you. After she picks up the woozed Marlene and places her on her shoulder. She then looks at the downed Ariel and makes another nod.

"Thankfully I was near this location when this crazy-fest happened." Samir says to her, "You were lucky to have me here, otherwise you would've been seriously injured."

Samir then looks at the rest of the crowd and begins to walk away.

"Now then... it's time I take her back to the hotel. GMG has already begun I see. I also see that she's part of the same guild I assume most of us here are from... Phoenix Wing. Now if you excuse me..."

And with that she continues walking back to the guild hall with Marlene in her arm.

James raised an eyebrow once more, though it was still hidden behind his helmet. "Hate to disappoint you miss Arrow, but never heard of you. Maybe Damian has though. I'll have to ask him. And you're hea-" He stopped himself when he realized that someone thought they'd been putting on a show. Turning and finding the source, he shook his head. "Ma'am, that wasn't a street performance. Just so you know." Sighing and wondering which god he'd angered today, he looked around for his familiar. "Artemis, are you there?"

Amelia Averyonna and Jack, the Maiden of the Mist

Amelia was walking around the arena, wondering what to do. She had gotten tired of staying in the medical wing and left after waiting for Jarvis to return after gods knows how long. She had been planning to return t the Phoenix Wing stands, but she wasn't sure how she felt about face her guild mates after her performance in the games. Rose's words after the match had been comforting and made her feel better but... she still wasn't sure she had deserved a full score.

Lost in her thoughts, when she finally looked around at her surroundings and spotting that she was near the Dragon Fang stands. Remembering Master Jack and how friendly he had seemed, she decided to pay the ally guild a visit and walked towards the stands.

Jackie was watching the match, unsure of how she felt about Karn's tactics. It was effective, but only if successful. And she wasn't sure the Krystal girl would survive the embarrassment. As she was watching though, she sensed someone approaching.
"We have a visitor." She said to Master Jack

That made Gabriek angry, as if taking Marlene down deserved a prize. Something was clearly up here, and he thought it had more to do with Nolan then anything else, and whatever magic had happened here. But right now Gabriel was more concern with the fact that this woman was treating a human being like something she just hunted. "I don't care what she was doing, you don't treat people as if youre proud you took them down!" he said furiously, kneeing down by Marlene to check that she was okay, as no one else seemed to be doing that. Some guild mates, huh?

Gabriel let out a growl when the woman who shot Marlene came over, only reluctantly letting her grabMarlene because he was surrounded by members of a guild that wasn't his own.

Frustrated, Gabriel looked to Enma, and said "Marlene's guild sent her berserk in someway. I think the girl she was trying to hurt did something" while he couldn't be sure of that, it was clear that she was the reason for Marlene's behavior. "you don't treat people like they are treating her!" he muttered to himself annoyed

James had had enough, and after approaching the lad who'd been shoving his nose where it didn't belong and promptly slammed his armored fist into it. "We did NOTHING to our guild mate, you nosy, disrespectful child! She went berserk on Ariel for no identifiable reason! As it stands, this was no longer your concern when she attacked her guild mate, which I told you over and over again. But, as you've shown, you don't give a damn if it isn't your business." The helmet that James had been wearing for most of the event vanished and he locked a cold gaze only a Paladin could give on the boy.

"I have not known her for long, but that was most definitely out of character for Marlene from what little I DO know. When she wakes up, Master Jamie and probably one of the other guild members will ask her what happened. If she thinks you need to know, she will find you and inform you." Turning, he started to walk away, silently dropping a Divine Protection on himself in case the boy retaliated. Hopefully, he wouldn't. They didn't need another brawl in the city streets today.

Cody's eye widened when he the instant he heard the words 'Phoenix Wing', even though he was still clearly tired from blocking off Marlene.
"You guys are part of Phoenix Wing? The wizard guild? Seriously?!?" He asked in visible excitement, his dark green eyes had sparkles of adorement in them.
"I have always wanted to join you guys! Can I?" He pestered James, dancing around in front of him and pleaded on his knees.
"I would do anything!"

Amelia looked around at the Dragon Fang members before spotting Master Jack, who was signaling her to come over. She smiled as she approached the Guild Master and sat down, the crystals on her wings swaying with her movements.
"Good afternoon Master Jack. Are you enjoying the tournament?" She asked as she turned to watch the current match. She didn't know who was fighting but it really didn't bother her. She couldn't really focus on it, as her mind was all over the place and her expression showed it.
