Shujin
A scavenger hunt? He liked the idea. Were there any rules against beating people to a pulp and taking their lacrima? He didn't think so. However, he would do this fair and square. If he got into any battles in this, he would be struggling to call on magical power later on in the games. No he would find the lacrima he needed.
He waited for the other contestants to leave the arena, still thinking to himself. Where could they be hidden? He thought of simple places. No... it would be like that huh? "Metal make! drill!" He brought his hands down on the earth in front where they stodd in the arena. When the dust settled, he grinned. Sparkling in the dirt was a blue lacrima. He bent over picking it up, and casually dropped it into his breast pocket. It was heavier than expected. He set off in search of the lacrima required. So he needed all the colours before he could return. He had made it a fair way out of the arena before he stopped to search.
He came upon the aquarium which was labeled on the map. This was an easy find. A yellow lacrima was set next to a water tank. There was water everywhere though. He was amazed. Someone must've took it from the tank and put it to one side. He shrugged. Not all hero's wear a cape he guessed. He picked up the yellow and stuffed it into his coat before rushing out and onto his next location. He knew where another one might be. The palace gardens. He gambled on it. Clambering to the top of building using the crates next to it, he eyed up the palace. "Metal make! Bridge!" He put his hands down on the edge of the roof. An iron walkway extended from his current building, from building to building to one close to the palace. He breathed heavily. He formed a lot of metal just now, but it would save him a lot of time.
He jogged along his makeshift walkway, at a steady pace for a good few minutes before reaching a building overlooking the palace gardens. This whole idea was a massive gamble and he doubted there would be one there now after thinking. He was about to turn back before a glint caught his eye. In the mouth of a garden gargoyle was one of the rainbow lacrima. He grinned. However, he knew how much her higness loved the gargoyles. He couldn't destroy it to reach the lacrima. "Metal make... Hook!" He cast his hand forward, forming a long hook, knocking the lacrima from the gargoyles mouth. He pumped his fist before realising the lacrima was currently plummeting to the ground. "Crap!" He dove from the top of the building arm extended, taking a full land to the body hitting the ground, but the lacrima dropping safely into his hand. He coughed, bruised up a little, but he now had 3.
He dusted himself off before heading elsewhere. He did catch glimpses of other contestants, clearly holding lacrima he needed. He didn't engage them, but followed them. This method got him several more of the lacrima he needed. The orange, red, violet, and green. Doing it this way was much slower yes. He knew he might not stand a chance of finishing first. But it meant if he had to battle at any other point in the games, he could win the points for his guild.
The last lacrima proved more tricky to find. For some reason he found himself lost on the edge of the city. He had been following Damian Gerard from phoenix wing, but he had lost sight of him. He sighed, realsing he had to use his head some more to find the last one. At that moment he took a full force kick to the side of the head from something. He gluched and was sent into a set of boxes. He winced before forcing himself up. "Who's there?" He clenched his fist, nudging his own chin. A vulcan was laughing at him, dancing around. He couldn't tell what it was saying though. He gasped though, as the vulcan raised it hands, holding the final lacrima he needed. The indigo one.
"Shiny mine!!!!!!" It boomed, dancing around with the lacrima.
Shujin laughed to himself. The vulcan had clearly been into the city and stolen the lacrima from where it was meant to be. This did make it easier for him though. "Metal make... hammer." He formed a single handed battle hammer in his hand. "I'm going to take that from you... monkey." The vulcan suddenly looked angry and charged head on towards him. Shujin lept upwards, just as it got close, swinging his hammer into his chin, in an uppercut fashion. The vulcan has KO'd instantly, and the lacrima dropped kindly into Shujin's hand. "Stupid monkey." He wiped the lacrima clean, before stuffing it into his coat. Crap! He was so far from the arena. How long had this taken him? He had no idea... the only way was to get back to the arena and find out. He took off at a full sprint. It took him sometime, but he made into back into the arena. There was a strange person with a book in the way. "Out of my way!" He yelled, leaping forward. "metal make saucer!!!" he sent a razor sharp wheel flying towards the figure who was clearing trying to prevent him entering.
