Masahiko eyed Angelica carefully still unsure what to make of her after all his time on the council. Sighing he leans back in his chair his face still shadowed by his hood. He smiles and crosse his arms, "I have many ideas on what Jamie could be here for. None of them likely and I am fairly sure we will learn in due time. You all know him, Jamie never tips his hand. Jarvis is the only one I can think of who would even be able to guess what he's thinking. Though to that end I find no reason to be concerned for now so why worry. Unless you know something we don't Angelica," *'Which wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.'* --- Sayuri watches everyone and smiled, *'This is the kind of guild my sister wanted to create...'* she raises an eyebrow as Jamie leaves and turns to Jarvis, "Is he always this difficult to read? I've spent enough time with secretive people to be able to read people fairly well, but, I can't get get a read on him at all..."

"I know what I'm doing Mayt" Penny said, smiling sweetly, returning her attention to her group. _See, already working. He may not see the reason behind it, or even suspect it, but the sound kid is being motivated, even somewhat_ She thought to herself. She caught the ball as he threw it to her, cradling it in one hand, inspecting it. If it worked as a different way the Phones said, as while he sounded confident, it was clear that he had never done something quite like this before, then the music would act as another buffer to them. "Thanks, Phones" She said, still holding the little ball. Penny smiled at Karn as he shifted into a little blue bird, and gently stroked his head. "Well, that is very handy. Now we have eyes and ears on the room" Maybe this wasn't so bad. Everyone at least seemed content to listen to her, and weren't doing so bad at it. It let her relax, and she breathed out slowly. ----- Sasha wasn't stupid, she made no effort to mention Lazarus's other abilities, and was about to speak, but the Magic Council building loomed ahead. It just seemed vary dull and bland, and yet managed to seem intimidating. "Well. So, where should we set up?" ---- The black cat screeched like bloody murder, hissing, meowing furiously, hackles raised. "Could just be innocent" Jarvis said, "There is a shapeshifter changing shapes constantly. Could be curious, but no, I don't believe in coincidence's." He said. looking to Sayuri. "Jamie does what Jamie does. She isn't one to read easily" he said to her. ---- Jamie chuckled, and said, "It wouldn't be a good idea to piggy back off the guild. Not tonight. Could be dangerous, even for you and Mithera. You don't want to be a target of the Magic Council either" She said, "but I have to get back to what I'm doing." He turned to start back towards the guild. ----- Angelica sighed, and said, "You know what his guild has been doing. trying to undermine our own authority, is what. Why would he bring his whole guild here? Seems suspicious to me" Carrie swallowed, cringing back even before she spoke, using Spencer as a shield essentially. "P-perhaps its j-just a t-training t-thing" "NO!" The room seemed to dim for a moment, and then lightened once more at Angelica's shout. Kali's screeches seemed to echo through her mind, ripping through her. "Okay, okay" Tim, or maybe it was Ted said, "Calm down. No point in getting angry. That's never been the way to meet with Jamie"

Melina chuckled a little. "I'm half surprised they don't search everyone who comes into this town to see if they're a mage personally, but I see your point." She watched Jamie turn and begin to walk off. "Oh, and one more thing. Could you tell that shape shifter of yours to stop? It's bothering Mithera." She smiled a bit. "I would say goodbye, but I'm pretty sure we're going to run across each other again at least one more time today. Until then, I'll stay out of your guild's way." She have a little wave as she turned and walked off to find a spot she could watch the events about to transpire. --- Mayt sighed as she shape shifter called him 'Mayty'. "I guess it's better than Ser Samuri." He rolled his shoulders, looking about, and loosening his katana, knowing he was going to have to remove it. "Alright. Penny, what exactly are we looking for? I know it's a book, but I have no idea what it's called or what it contains. Since anything involving Wes' disappearance is likely in a book of more than just about that. If there's anything at all." He kicked a pebble, watching it skitter across the street. "And probably doesn't have the title, 'An introspective on odd disappearances of guild members."

[Damian] "Yeah, I don't believe in coincidences either." Taking a moment to inspect the cat for any oddities, he spots a strange shimmer in it's eyes and recognizes it as a trick he'd seen another wizard do, using animals to survey and watch people. The sneaky bastard had avoided Damian for weeks before he caught on. Walking over to Jarvis, he drops his voice low. "I don't know who, but someone from the Council is using that cat to keep an eye on us." [James] "So you're all into basically speed and power? This might actually be easier than I thought." He regards the kid with the headphones and the girl with the instruments. "Well, you'll need both need accuracy boosts and possibly some kind of power boost to give your spells more oomph. Still, I think I can do this fine."

Trinity's ears perked slightly as she heard something abouy disappearances. Was that what they were here about? Someone... disappeared? Now she was interested. Someone's rather hasty assessment of her combat ability caught her ear and distracted her from that thought. "A proper archer might engage you in fisticuffs over that remark. You're lucky I'm just a minstrel."

[James] "And I welcome a proper archer to try. However, I've yet to meet an archer too proud to accept the extra assistance with their aim." James chuckles as he takes up a position near the others and squats down. "Especially when the fatigue from extended combat and magic usage kicks in."

Jamie just waved as she made her way back to Jarvis and Sayuri, "I can't tell the kid to stop shifting. Maybe Mithera can ask him how he does it" he called over her shoulder,. Coming back to the others, she saw the cat trapped by Damian. "Well now. What do we have here?" She asked, and having caught what Damian said, said "Of course, someone from the council is watching us. I'd be disappointed if they weren't" ---- "We are looking for a book by Lucy Heartfillia" Penny said, "I would imagine it would have something with Fairy Tail on it" Penny shrugged, "I doubt the Council would leave it out in the open, nor make it easy to find. Be thorough. There could be magical enchantments hiding it"

The projection lacrima wasn't the best of all the days. The quality of the character was heavily pixeled and the voice had constant static, but it was good enough to understand what was being spoken. After Angelica's sudden screech, Grane decided to add his input in this meeting "Sorry again for not actually being here at this moment and that this lacrima projector isn't doing its best, but we should still be cautious. Although it may be Jamie, I would have to agree with Spencer that it is not an innocent visit if a guild master of a well known magical guild suddenly brings his or her guild members to our door steps. Should I remind us that this is not the first time that we encountered a group that has underestimated our power. Despite a person who doesn't even reveal their own identity to his or her own fellow guild members seem suspicious and untrustworthy to have walking around Kapu, they haven't done anything wrong yet. But if they do some how make the mistake that others did before them, then it is their own fault for even attempting to come here, apologizes won't even be enough if anything went wrong here." There was a short pause and followed by sigh he he continued, "I'm not to far away, but if anything bad happens make sure to contact me and I'll be there as fast as I can. We cannot afford to have this guild mess up all the hard work that we achieved. There's no telling what would could happen if it all went down hill. But as I mentioned earlier, I'm almost there and shouldn't waste anytime just standing so I'm sure the rest of you got this handled. Grane out." And with that the projection faded out.

[Damian] "I can leave it there, trapped like that. It won't do it's master much good if it can't hardly move." He then overhears Penny about enchantments and frowns. "Well, if there are enchantments, we'll be hard pressed to break them without someone who specializes in some form of word magic."

Lazarus paused as they spoke about the book. 'Fairy tail'. That made him smile. That guild name filled him with warmth. He chuckled and spoke to Sasha. "You know. My father used to tell me as young teen, that my real parents had elder relatives that were fairy tail mages." He smiled a bit. "The blood of a Phoenix..." he looked at his left hand, "and the blood of a fairy." He looked at his right. He now spoke out loud. "You know... they wont let us take this book.... we'll have to take it by force." He sighed. 'Lucy Heartfillia.' He shuddered a bit and his eyes widened. He had seen that name before. Of course he had, she was the infamous stellar spirit mage of Fairy tail. He chuckled, before laughing loudly so the others could hear him. "I know what book we are looking for!" In that instance, he had already had a flashback. "The book has the same colour fairy tail crest as it's author. Find the read crest... and you find the book." He grinned. He looked at the ones about to ask how he knew. He answered before they even asked. "Being brought up in the church system, and having a 'father' as a major minister, meant being dragged to the council on many occasions. The library is where I was allowed to dwell. That book is the one book father would never let me open. I believe he feared its contents would.... corrupt my heaven bound soul." He stared sinisterly at the others before squeezing Sasha's hand. I believe the odds of us winning this thing just went up." He beamed, almost proud of his flashback. Lazarus responded to Damian in an instance. "Heavenly magic see's through all. I can get rid of them, provided they aren't too encrypted." He grunted.

[Damian] "We're talking about the magic council, Lazarus, of course it's encrypted. And Miss Heartfillia's guild mark was Pink, not red. Natsu's was red, as was Erza Scarlett." He shrugs at the raised eyebrows from several members. "So I like to know Magnolia's history and that of Fairy Tail. So sue me. Still, Lazarus, you've given us the best hint to work on."

Sayuri looks at the cat and smiles, "Oh, hey there Kali how ya doin," she reaches her arm through the bars trying not to cut herself and starts calming the cat down, "I haven't seen you since I left to journey. I can hold onto the cat if thats alright with you Damien. She knows me," She looks up at him. --- Masahiko gave a small smile when Angelica cried out, "You having some cat troubles Angelica? I have a suggestion on for why they're here. They could be researching some of their magics. We do have the biggest collection of magical documents here in the library. It could simply be that." He listens to Garne's points and remains silent for a minute before speaking, "From my own expereince Jamie has no desire for power. Only a Council that doesn't make mistakes, not that I'm saying this is one."

Jamie sighed, and said "leave it. No doubt it will get out eventually. You should start looking now. We are going in. If you want to take the cat, Sayuri, then take ir" and that being said, Master Jamie headed into the council building, knowing Jarvis would follow with Sayuri. Every time someone tried to stop her, Jamie just continued walking, until reaching the council chambers. He could hear what was being said, and chuckled, opening the door. "Why, if you are so worried as to what I am doing here with my guild, don't you ask me yourselves?" She said cheerfully, stalking into the room. "Just stopping by on the way to guild training. Oh, a few of my members are also looking through the library. Looking for information to help them with a job" he said it easy, and smiled at them all. "Thought I should stop by, knowing you'd be wondering why I'm here" The pure shock on Angelica's face was worth it. Clearly she hadn't expected them to come to the council. "Ah. Well, Jamie, it's always a...pleasure" Ted, or maybe Tim said. "About as pleasurable as keeping a splinter out" Tim or maybe Ted said, cackling and slapping his brother on the back. Jamie just nodded, and greet Masahilo "your letter was very interesting. Your daughter more so" ---- Sasha smiled, and listened as Lazarus spoke. She didn't have anything to add, and just said "there go Master Jamie and the others, headinf in. If you want to go in, and help find the book since you know what it looks like, that might be best. Help find it quicker"

"While I understand your sentiment, I mean only to say that even an archer who *isn't* too prideful might be insulted if you suggest he *needs* the assistance. Aah, but I echo my dear Lady Vivian. I shouldn't bother you with such lectures." Trinity sighs softly and plays herself an interlude on her harp. Lucy Heartfilia? The minstrel turned her head as she heard them talking about what they were here for. She'd heard song of her (and her guild), though she didn't know too much about them other than that. Another member was... Nutso? Uh... no, couldn't be. Oh, there. Someone else mentioned him, Natsu. That was it. Trinity turned her attention back to the man she was speaking with, then, and- oh! "Ser Knight, funny meeting you here. You say you can enhance my abilities, though? Well, honestly, I *am* pretty accurate on my own, I don't think that'll be too much of a problem. Unless someone starts using illusion magic or something. I think you aught to focus more on power or speed, for me."

Karn happily leaned into Penny's pat before tweeting cheerfully. As he saw th Guild Master head to the building, his wings fluttered. **"Okay I'll go keep a eye on things. Be safe and play nice with one another!"** he chirped cheerfully to everyone before flapping after them. When reaching the building wall, his body shifted into that of a small green gecko about as long as a index finger. Flicking a long tongue out, the green coloring shifted into the color of the wall, camoflouging against it before crawling along it with those entering the council room. Climbing to the left and following the wall to a higher vantage point. Before simply remaining clinged to the wall, remaining absolutely still as his round beady black eyes curiously examined the people in the room. Listening and watching carefully for anything suspicious.

Mayt sighed as he went inside, and he let Penny lead them all to the library. Once there, he moved to some of the bookshelves. "I'll check over here!" He ran his hands over books, using his magic to 'feel' for, well, magic. He wouldn't be able to disenchant any wards or protective devices, but if he finds one, he can see if one of the others can break the enchantment. Mayt sighed, knowing it'd be a long search, especially since he would have to touch every single book in the library until he found the one they were looking for. He had to resist the urge to grab some of the books he looked over, they looked somewhat interesting, but he had a job to do.

Sayuri smiled and removed Kali from the cage being careful not to hurt either of them, *'That probably pissed her off. She likes to be in control, not that my dad makes it easy for her. I've wondered why they're always at odds...'* she holds Kali tightly enough to keep a hold of her but light enough for her to be comfortable. She hurries after Jamie falling in step behind her. She thoroughly enjoyed the reactions of the council members when Jamie walked in. She looked around and saw her dads totally recognizeable robes on the opposite of the table. She smiles at him quickly before looking at Angelica, "I think you might have let her out. I wold be a little more careful train stations are a dangerous place for cats." --- Masahiko was taken by surprise when Jamie burst into the room but kept his composure without any visual reaction, "Ah, Jamie welcome you should have told us you were coming I would have greeted you myself. I had no worries about you being here and I think the others are simply just being paranoid." He catches his daugthers smiles and returned it . The smile returned wider when she makes a rather direct jab at Angelica. He leans forward and places his hands on the table fingers interlaced, "I'm glad you found it as such Jamie. Was anything in there helpful? I take it she hasn't made any trouble for you or the rest of your guild. I'd be awefully disappointed if she had already," he watches Angelica carefully to gauge her reactions.

The black cat that was Kali was still carrying on, despite the familiar face. She wriggled, as if testing the boundaries of Sayuri's grip. Jamie chuckled, "If I told you, I'd be denied the chance of seeing the council suprirsed" He smiled, looking over to Sayuri, "She's an absolute gem. It's all helpful" She said, looking back to Masahiko. Angelica was not pleased at this turn of events. Losing Kali as her eyes had stopped her seeing when Jamie was approaching. And Masahiko's daughter being with the Master of Phoenix Wing was just another nasty little shock. Kali hissed, growled, and tried to escape Sayuri once more. "You have no right coming in here unannounced" Angelica started, but Jamie never let her finish. "What, so you can prepare for me? But I so love seeing you unstable and stumbling to regain your feet whenever I appear. Isn't that right, Jarvis?" Jamie turned aside from Angelica, clearly dismissing her, to Jarvis. "You do love seeing people surprised" jarvis agreed easily, but his eyes seemed to watch everyone in the room. Anger crossed Angelica's face, and the room dimmed just slightly. "Yes, well, I'd have to wonder why you come in announced, when it's starting to get dark, with your whole guild around. Why would someone do that, I wonder?" She said, clearly getting her rhythm back. She walked around the room, meeting the eyes of the other council members. "Why would someone do that, if they weren't planning something?" Jamie snorted, "Not everything revolves around you, princess" She said, smiling easily. "When it clearly revolves around you" Angelica shot back, but Jamie was enjoying himself now, and doing what he had set out to do, which was undermine everything Angelica did. "Seriously, Jamie, which are you, male or female? No one knows" Ted said. Jamie knew it was Ted, because Tim slapped his brother and said "Ted! You can't just ask someone if they are girl or boy, what if they're embarrassed about their appearance?" Carrie giggled, seemingly at ease now. Jamie smiled and said, "Oh, there is one or two people that know. guess you haven't found them yet. Or managed to get them away from me" And now Jamie looked to Angelica again. "Not that you haven't tried. I protect my people, and Jarvis is just mine through and through" ------ Penny held the Sound Ball close to her, listening to the goings on within the council room. It seemed like a lot of messing around, but Master Jamie was skilled at what she did. Penny could tell that he had a way, and was using it, to simply draw the council to what she wanted. The sound ball seemed to work perfectly, and she poked Phones, to get his attention. "Good job. The ball works perfectly" Show appreciation. Find a way to work with them all.

On the highest floor of the Magic Council's library, a shrouded young man could see a group of wizards suddenly walk into the library looking as if they were searching for something. While from that distant, he could see one of the amphibian employees of the Council, one that is quite old and with a green color skin, approach a brown hair man with a katana, "Sir, you must be careful with these books that you are feeling. Especially since you are a wizard, who knows how much damage that you might do to these books that date back a hundred years ago. Instead, to help avoid any risks of damage to these books, tell me the book and maybe I can assist with your search. If not, then I will have to call security for your careless act of how you are treating these book." The shrouded man left out a soft sigh and began to leave the library. *That green frog, however kind he may be, always takes these books too seriously. But I found the book that I needed for the private archives so I'll just let the guy help someone else instead.* he thought to himself while leaving. --- Kapu was close, but a call some how ended up up closer. An amphibian employee ran by and told Grane of some event going on in the Council's Chamber and advised that it would be best to turn the projection lacrima to see what was occurring. *I leave for a few minutes and something has to happen*, Grane thought to himself while the amphibian was quickly informing what was the situation from another amphibian at the Magic Council's building. The lacrima projection came back on in the chamber, but the projection was still showing its previous issue from before but Grane still carried on. "So you must be Master Jamie of Phoenix Wing. I apologizes for not being there in person to greet you probably, but I tend to be out most of the time. But one does not have to suddenly barge into another person's home without stating their business and intentions here. I'll get to my points. As I am aware, you have multiple members of your guild here today, but I do not understand why you could not simply inform us of your sudden interest before you arrived to Kapu. Sure we might of denied it, but that does not give enough reason to my understanding as to why you would still come without at least putting that effort, unless you were in some hurry. There is also the the job you spoke of, from what I am told, you have yet to mention the specific of this job. Yes, you have mentioned that your members are searching our library, but you have not mention what it is that they seek. There was a short pause where Grane tried to gather some air to help continue. "What I am really trying to say right now is stop stalling with your little conversations with my fellow Council members and please state your specific reason as to why you have your guild here without even informing us ahead of time as to why your guild is here? You could have at least shown us some decency by sending us some notification that you and your guild was coming for something that sounded so simple, but apparently you might think we don't have the time. So similar to what I asked earlier, what is so important that you have to show up suddenly without giving us knowledge of it, what are you not telling us?" He finished and waited for the guild master's response.
