_And here_ Jamie thought, _is where I lie utterly and completely._ She smiled, and said, "I know who you are, Grane. Protector in short of the magic council. I respect that. I didn't plan to be here" throw in some truth "I merely thought, after having some troubles on the train with a new member, that having the guild stop for the night would be good, for the generally public, as well as for my members. I did think, briefly of sending communication down that we would be stopping over, but then I had some trouble with said new member" Part truth. "And I'll be truthful with you" Jamie said with a laugh, "I love to surprise and annoy the council. It's just so much...fun. My members have several jobs going at once. I keep track on them, but tend to let them do the jobs on their own. While we have an extensive library in my guild, there are things we don't have there. And a couple of my S class mages are helping me out with a research project as well." And here Jamie's expression changed to serious. "A little while ago, one of our members disappeared. We don't know where, or how, but it happened during a training exercise. So I'm exploring all avenues, and since we stopped the night here, wished to take advantage of the library the council has." He sighed, and said "So I guess a combination of things lead us here. And no disrespect to the council, but if I sent communication a head of time, it would have given them time to prepare, and I like it when they aren't prepared, at least when talking with them" None of the other council members seemed to speak, for which Jamie was grateful.

Mayt sighed when the _thing_, whatever it was, approached him and asked him not to touch the books. "Alright, if you're willing to help, I'm looking for a book by a member of Fairy Tale, written somewhere around a hundred years ago." He crossed his arms, looking up and down the aisle quickly. "And I believe it has a pink guild mark on the cover, so if you can help me find that, I'd be in your debt. If not, well, I'm just going to go back to feeling books for magical energy." He made sure to speak clearly for who he assumed was the librarian, or one of them.

Grane waited and listened as Jamie said her reasons. Once the guild master finished, Grane began his stance on the matter. "It is nice that you heard of me, but I rather discuss about your matter as to your presence here in Kapu. Visiting Kapu is one thing, but walking right through the front door of the Magic Council, ignoring every guard demanding you to stop, and stepping into a meeting among the Council it self without any kind of permission is a whole another matter. You just said that you did not even plan to be here, yet you are here uninvited and mention that you plan to stay the night here with your guild members. The idea of informing the Council of your possible arrival with a big group should of at least been considered and would be courteous before you started your travels. Yet you were arrogant enough to do the actions you did without listening to anyone when you entered the Magic Council, such attitudes from guest are unwelcoming. This Council is not some kind of game that you can just play around with for personal amusement." Grane paused for a second to catch his breath before he could continue. "Having someone who blatantly ignores simple decency and barge in anywhere they feel like without showing the owner any respect is just plane indecent. Your guild should not even be staying a night here after what you just did here and with what happened on the train, such transgression is prohibited and is dealt with consequences that may seem suitable for what was done. I would like to say that you and your guild members almost act like ruffians doing what ever they think is right before consider what the law may think. But I have heard of your guild before and what it has done, so as a fair warning, do not ever underestimate us or undermine what this Council is and what is has worked hard on over the past century. So if you only plan to stay a night and leave, then fine, stay the night and only that same night and then leave, that is my stance on the matter. Although we both might understand the great uses for magic, there is still the chaotic side of it that a wizard can produce, and I rather not have a accident like that train happen here in Kapu or the Council." There, Grane ended his statement but left his projection on in case there happens to be anything else that be spoken. --- "So are you looking for some Fairy Tale stories or perhaps a book that speaks of the possible existence of a fairy's tail or do you mean a... oh" The librarian realized what the wizard meant when he mentioned the description. "Hmm... give me a minute to see if I can recall that description of the book from my mind, it sounds familiar. And please sir, please don't be too hasty to look through the other books, I will be with you momentarily." The amphibian stood there with his eyes lost in thought for about an actual minute and came back from his mind. "Yes, I do recall our library having a book that somewhat matches your description. But I'm sorry to inform you that our Head Researcher of the Council already took it for personal studies about a decade ago. So I'm sorry again for not having the book that you seek right now." Somewhere else, the same shrouded character that left the library earlier began walking to a room that looked like some kind of archive room with paper and books on every shelves, tables, chairs, and even floor. The man set a book down on the table and picked up another from behind him that had a pink Fairy Tail symbol on it. He tried finding space in the room to sit down and finally continue reading the book again.

Masahiko listened closely to the conversation his, usually endless, patience ran thin as Angelica and Jamie bickered. He usually would have enjoyed it more, but he was irritable from Angelica's usual antics. It continued to to wear down as Grane confronted Jamie about his actions and Jamie for the most part brushed it off and it finally ran out, "Jamie as much as I enjoy seeing your face, and Angelica stumble about, there are certain precedures you have to follow. We all know you wouldn't be here unless you were actually here for a reason. Now normally I would let this play out but today I'm not in the mood for it. So I will ask you, as someone who respects you and your abilities, to please explain yourself," his eyes while not hostile were serious.

Jamie sighed as Grane went on. Nodxed at Masahiko. But it was Jarvis who spoke, stepping up beside Jamie. "If you had listened you would know that we didn't plan to stay the night. We didn't even plan to stop here at Kabo" jarvis flawlessly carried on with the lie. "Circumstances occurred, and we thought it in the best interest of the guild to stop. Should we have sent word ahead? Perhaps. But again, Jamie said that she had thought to, but circumstances effected that from happening. And besides which" and here Jarvis's tone changed to, just slightly, accusiation "with what the Council has been doing, why should we offer basic curtesy when they do not issue jobs or statements about the rising amount of dark guilds?" Jamie laid a hand on Jarvis's shoulder and said "I do not see why I should offer the courtesy of given the council respect, when they do not give me or my guild respect. I turned down the offer to be on the council. Because I could see what it would become. A gathering of people who will eventually become corrupt by their own power. Absolute power corrupts absolutely, as one of my members is found of saying. I created Phoenix Wing to be a baecon of Hope for the people of Fiore, and I believe I have done a pretty darn good job of it." Jamie looked at them all, one by one. "Most of you are blind to the truth. And that's okay. But you stepped over a line, not doing anything about the dark guilds. That was the first time I truly believed what I saw all those years ago" and now Jamie looked to Angelica, and saw slight fear there. "That the council has lost its way. And that it will doom Magic once more. So. I guess part of the reason for not calling ahead was this: I want to see this council taken down. Taken apart, before it can seriously damage the fragile opinion of magic. Before it can ruin everything a 100 years has worked for. And to give my guild time to find what we came here for. Which is a way to find our lost member, a way to Edolas." And there it was. Panic. Fear. And anger. Angelica hissed, much like her car Kali. "You would ruin fiore, for your own petty reasons?" Jarvis tensed, But Jamie gave his shoulder a squeeze. "I don't believe going to Edolas would destroy fiore. Maybe destroy your plans, but I don't give a damn about that. The guild Fairy Tail went to Edolas, and survived. They had Exceeds. We have an Exceed as well. Oh, yeah, didn't know that did you?" Jamie chuckled "we have members who won't give up. Who will stand for their friends, their family, and we all know that was what made Fairy tail so great. So I guess part of the reason why we are here is this...to tell you that while you may think to defeat me, to defeat Phoenix Wing, you won't succeed. We will defeat you" and Jamie reached out for Sayuri as well, giving Jarvis's shoulder another squeeze. Jarvis, taking it as a sign. He reached into his pocket as the council reacted to the words jamie had said, taking out a lacrima. It glowed bright, and Jarvis smashed it. Light enveloped the room, and when it disappeared, the threesome was not there. They had appeared to disappear. "Damn it, Damn it!" Angelica cursed, "well? Are you just going to sit there? Get moving, stop them!" And disappeared, using the shadows. As soon as they appeared in front of the council building, Jamie began to move. He started to the library, as Jarvis relayed communication to the guild, through his lacrima's, telling them to be ready for attack. Jamie reached where Sasha, Lazarus Angelo and James were. And Angelica appeared. Jamie went on the offensive right away, drawing out the sword Damian had given him. Angelica cackled, and went for the guild members. Jamie wasn't quick enough to block the attack for all of them. Shadows wound there way over, towards Angelo. Jamie cursed, and moved, "angelo! Break free, quick!" Knowing Angelica's abilities, Jamie knew she could, and did often, control people with their shadows. Carrie cringed, but rose, flawlessly following Angelica's lead, darting down the stairs, aiming for the library. She wasn't surprised to see people there, and definetely wasn't shocked at what was going on. "E-e-execute me. You can't be in here" she said to the Phoenix Wing members.

Angelo looked over to master Jamie who told him to break free and he was about to jump away from the closing shadow but it was to late Angelo was caught in the shadow and he froze in place. Angelo wanted to break away from this shadow but it was not budging and it made Angelo move towards angelica as if to protect her. "what the hell did you do to me!" I yelled to the girl and she made me put a hand over my mouth to shut me up from saying anything else and she made me call a bolt into my hand daring the others to try and attack her or me

Mayt looked up at the woman who just showed up. "One moment, we're leaving shortly." He turned back towards the librarian. "Where is your head researcher? I would like to talk to him if that's possible." He looked at the other members with him in the library and waved them over if he could, not taking his eyes off the man in front of him, waiting intently for the information. --- Melina sighed, not far from the Council Building now. _Will they hurry it up already?_ She looked up at Mithera, who was still coming around the town for another pass at the council building. She had been getting slowly lower, and she just looked like a large bird now, but if anyone happened to be on a roof on that side of town they'd probably be able to make out that she was far to high to be a regular bird and still that large a speck. _By the time I get over there to see through the windows, chances are whatever happens'll be over already._ Melina sighed, knowing Mithera was right. She looked around, before starting to approach the building.

Sayuri was stunned when Jamie basically declared war on the counil. She knew it was probably going to happen but when it did it felt surreal. She was then engulfed by a light and appeared outside the council building without Kali, *'I'm at war with my father and every member of his group... I'm sorry but I will fight,'* She hurries after the Jamie and arrives just in time to see one of the other members struck by Angelica. Swearing she gathers light around her hand then lanches several beams towards Angelica as she passes. She pauses, *'Would I help more here or in the library...'*

Karn watched the little meeting go on, most of it pretty much playing around really. The vision inside the beady black eyes was odd, at least compared to his other forms, but the little camoflouging gecko was useful for this type of mission. It was then things started to get a bit serious, the Guild Master talking about a place called Edolas. The young transformation made had heard of such a place from Master Rian, but too much of it. Something tied to the Fairy Tail guild that lasted a long time ago, whom survived going there. It was then a man named Jarvis seemed to do something, causing the room to emit a bright light and the three guild members to disappear. The angry woman seemed frustration and ordered everyone after them before disappearing using some sort of shadow magic. Everyone scrambled their way downstairs and after them. It was at this point, Karn was unsure what to do. He couldn't exactly teleport his way out of here and this whole place would definitely be on high alert. It will be a little more difficult getting out now that everyone is suspicious. Perhaps he should go outside to help or to the library where the team searching for the book were. But that's also along the way with the Council Members. Now Karn wasn't afraid of battle, no, but Master Rian had told him the Council had powerful wizards. And right now, he was outnumbered to all these powerful wizards. Better to be smart then just run in to die. Perhaps, maybe if this book everyone is looking for is so special, it would be somewhere deeper in the Council building rather than just the library. So if he found it, they'd be happy right? Well it was worth a shot. He didn't exactly have a way to communicate with everyone since he wasn't given anything to do that with. Waiting for the close to be clear, his tiny body climbed up onto the ceiling and scurried along. However, if he was looking for a book to track, a gecko wasn't really a thing to be tracking with. Climbing down a wall and behind a little table with a vase, he transformed into the black cat that was with Sayuri. Perhaps as a black cat, they'd think he was that feline Sayuri brought. Sniffing the air, he padded through the huge building, trying to search for anything that was close to a book. By what he remembered, a book such as that must have that slightly old book smell. Paper ages. Even if well kept and under enchantment, any sign of the smell of paper will do he guessed. Checking many rooms while avoiding eyes of others, he finally came across a promising room that smelled like it had several books. Shivering a little, he changed into a tiny ant, crawling underneath the door. Karn hated being bugs... Their vision was so weird and disorienting to him but their small size were useful in fitting in small spaces. Changing into the black cat again, Karn padded along as he looked at the archive with wonder, but froze as he smelled someone here. Slowly, he peaked from around a corner of a shelf to see a shrouded figure. A man by the smell of it. What caught his interest was the book he was holding. The cover having a pink symbol on the front. And he believed it was the guild symbol for Fairy Tail! *"Okay so now what? Should I just try and do a grab and run? Might be risky, I don't know what this guy's capable of, and it's a bit rude to interrupt his reading like that. Should I just wait for him to finish and walk away from it? But the others are in trouble, I don't have a lot of time. Should I change into one of the Council members and ask for it? But that would be lying. Should I ask nicely? But what if he's mean? But what if he's a nice man and I'm stealing a book he rightfully borrowed? That would be bad of me! But, Phoenix Wing seem to need this book and he didn't think they had bad intentions. But this man might not have any either.. Ahhhhhh!!!!!"* Karn's mind went a mile a second, whirling and turning as he tried to figure out what to do in this situation. Feeling torn, he quietly weaver his way under tables and chairs, closer to the man. His form changing to his orange feline form. At least that way, he didn't feel like he was lying. Walking all the way under the man's table, he sat at the feet and simply stared with a slightly distressed expression. He hadn't really been in this situation before. Most of the time he had the proper excuse to do something since his opponent was usually hurting someone. But he had no idea who his was. This mysterious man could be nice, or downright evil for all he knew. If he wasn't worried for the Guild, he would of just watched this man and studied him to find out, but there was little time and he had to be brave. But he also didn't want to go against what he felt was right. So even if it was a huge risk and Karn could end up skinned alive, he moved from under the table to the left side of the man and stared up at him. Giving a soft mew, ears slightly dropped to the sides as his emerald eyes stared at the man for his reaction.

"Of course it works perfectly," Nicolas snapped. "I'm not some mediocre mage." He sighed, he really did not need a pat on the back. He was younger than most of the members of this guild and that should not justify that he should be treated as a kid. Nicolas tightened his fists; he closed his eyes and crouched down to the floor. He laid down softly. "Wake me up when I'm needed. I need to escape this." He placed his hands above his chest and his headphones over his ears.

"You guys are slacking," a voice was heard behind Jamie. Out of nowhere, Maddox had appeared. While he had his hands in his pockets in a nonchalant fashion, his facial expression revealed that he was dead serious and all business. His red eyes looked over at Angelica, then over to Angelo, then back down to Jamie. "The Jamie I know wouldn't be challenged by a single enemy." Maddox took a few steps to the side now, to stand at a respectable distance from Jamie and Jarvis. "Do you still need me in the library or would you rather me provide back-up here?" Maddox asked, still keeping his casual pose. He looked over at Carrie now, giving her a stern glare, before letting his gaze settle on Angelica. Upon looking at her, his stern gaze turned into one of total anger. "Or would you rather that I destroy _the shadows_ for you?" It was clear who he was referring to as he kept his eyes locked onto Angelica. Even for someone who has known Maddox for years, it would likely be surprising to see even an angry expression on his face. Let alone hear a clear desire to fight, something he had never displayed openly before.

[Damian] After receiving Jarvis's warning about imminent attack, he didn't hesitate when the Council member appeared, his Hermes Blades appearing in his hands and slashing downwards at her. With a small scream, she scuttled out of the way, . He recognized her as Carrie, and though she was timid, she wasn't to be underestimated. "Mayt, research areas are up on a balcony near the back. Took some time to learn the library's layout once upon a time. Go, I'll hold her here." Following up the slash, with a pair of thrusts, he slowly forced Carrie out of the library before he used any spells. [James] "Divine Light!" The ray of light flew out of his shield and impacted Angelica with enough force to send her sliding on her back away from the group, but didn't free Angelo from her control. "No, Maddox. I will deal with the dark one. You find help Master Jamie free Angelo." His sword was suddenly covered in light as he mutter, "Holy Penance", before surging forward and ramming his shield into her again. "Your darkness will not subdue the light this day!"

"Ahh! How am I getting sick already. I hope I'm not getting sick." Bonnie kept pawing her nose ever since she sneezed again just a few minute ago. She looked outside from the train and really admired the view she could see, *traveling by train always felt better than flying yourself.* as she thought to herself. *Maybe someone is talking about me again.* She smirked this time as she thought about it. --- A heavy sigh was all Grane could make during Jamie's speech and finally said something when the guild master and members left. "Strange, the guild master says that she has no plans of coming here and just said earlier that she like surprising us. Yet she came here with her guild members, barges right in, and from what I'm assuming, is declaring war on us. It's not much of a surprise since she isn't the first group that thought they themselves thought were more powerful than us, huh. I guess I will be on my way shortly then." Grane ended his transmission and the projection lacrima dimmed off. --- The old amphibian was trying to recall how to explain where the archive room was until he saw Carrie arrive saying that the wizards were not allowed in the library. "Oh, so sorry again sir. Council Member Carrie just said that you and your colleagues aren't allowed to be here. And since she's my boss I'm afraid that I cannot help you at this moment in time. So perhaps another day I could help, good day to you sir." And the librarian walked away without fully realizing what just transpiring a few minutes ago and carried on with his usual job as librarian. --- The shrouded man read the book again for like the tenth time to go over some information he found earlier so he could compare some details of something, until he was interrupted by something to his left. "Kali, is that you?" he whispered as he saw the orange cat emerge from below the dark shadowy table. "Oh, it's just someone else. I don't know why, but it was so dark down there that your fur actually looked black than your orange coat." He said while petting feline with a smile showing from behind his hood. "But what are you doing all the way down here? Did Kali scare you down here or something?"

The orange feline purred at the pets and the smile the man gave, despite not being able to see much of his face other then the mouth. Karn felt this man wasn't exactly a bad man. So far at least. Yet it was also probably because he was seen as a simple cat. Despite that thought, he'd like to go with the feeling that this wasn't some sort of evil villain. After all, some people in such a place underground would probably yell at some fur ball for being there. It had taken time and luck to even get here, so it must be somewhat important. The others would probably have difficulty finding such a place with guards around. This man didn't smell like a Transformation wizard, so he probably couldn't tell as of yet what exactly this cat was. The question was to reveal that information or not. He wasn't sure if this man even knew what was going on outside. Still undecided, Karn looked up at the man, ears perked now as some nerves left him. Glancing to the book with his emerald gaze, the feline lept on the table and sat on his haunches, gently pawing the top of the book. Not hard enough to move it, only a light tap to somewhat show his interest in it.

### Master Jamie, Angelica, Sasha, Timothy, Theodore, Lazarus, James, Jarvis, Maddox Jamie's expression was stern, serious, calculating, watching Angelica, but his eyes just seemed to stray to her, her attention on Angelo. His gaze flickered to Maddox as he appeared, narrowed his eyes. "I wasn't challenged by her. She's simply fallen right into my plan" Her gaze went back to Angelica and Angelo, nodding at James, he turned her attention onto Angelo. "Listen to me, Angelo. I do not want to hurt you. You don't want to do this. Fight her!" "Sasha, La-" Jamie was cut off by the appearance of Theodore and Timothy, the twins surveying the scene. "Well. This should be interesting" Tim said, Wind rising and picking up inside, some papers shifting, rustling. "You're right" ted agreed. "We'll just get rid of the extras,shall we?" he said, turning towards Sasha, Lazarus, and James. "Should be easy. They don't look like much" Sasha shifted into a ready position. She was worried about her sister, with those that hadn't been tested yet. Who, in some case, weren't even part of the guild yet. She looked to Lazarus, to see if he was ready, then back at the twins. "I will defend my guild" Shadow raced up to protect Angelica, "Where there is Light, there is shadows. You should remember that" She said, pushing back against the shield despite the fact she was physically weaker, she refused to give ground ### Carrie, Mayt, Damian Carrie stiffened and said in a clear voice "no. You need to leave now" She turned to the librarian "do not help them" Her personality seemed to shift, as she stood up straighter. She didn't watch the librarian leave "I've asked you to leave. You won't. So I will just have to make you" Light flashed throughout the library, and a large bang could be heard ringing through it, and outside. The ground appeared scorched just in front of Damain A warning shot, and Carrie's eyes were flat, emotionless, and watchful. She stayed her ground. ### Penny, Nicholas, Trinity, Spencer Penny resisted the urge to kick Nicholas. "I meant nothing by it, you bad tempered dolt! It was a compliment, seeing as you didn't seem Confident in the fact that the ball would work! I believe in my fellow members, you jerk" She said, not noticing Spencer appear. Spencer had made his way down, and outside, finding those that were there, and sighing. The typically silent man said, "You really shouldn't be here" Penny spun about, flames already in her hands, studying the big, dark man. "Just waiting for some people" She said, "You really shouldn-" "Your master has just offended the council, and is now in battle with one of the council members" Spencer said. "Oh, wonderful. Get up, you bad tempered punk" Penny said to Nicholas, "trinity, please, use the lacrima, see how everyone else is" She spoke, and let her flames cover her body, into her traditional Phoenix shape.

Angelo listened to master Jamie but it wasn't like he wasn't trying now! Angelo struggled against his invisible bonds shaking violently to try and get control of himself then she made Angelo choke himself instead making Angelo gasp for air "throw the bolt now!" She yelled at Angelo but he shook his head and it kept going until Angelo felt like he was going to suffocate and he started to cry as he threw the bolt at Jamie and she let Angelo hand off his neck as he gasped for air "im sorry everyone" Angelo said to them as she forced him to throw more bolts at master Jamie but Angelo made sure that none of them would connect and would only go close if she didn't move...

[Damian] "You're cute, miss, but not very intimidating." With a flourish, he released a wave of Cone of Blades on her, the attack rising from the ground and forcing her back. "We were fully anticipating you wouldn't appreciate being caught with your hands in the cookie jar. So we came prepared to fight." He followed up the cone with a set of flying blades, a simple spell that launched a series of small knife blades at the enemy, forcing her to keep moving. "Release, Skill Lock Alpha. Confirmation Sigma Twelve." His normally orange magic seal appearing and turning green before he moved in for another series of slashes, stabs and thrusts, using the increased speed from the Hermes Blades to keep Carrie off balance. He would eventually switch to his Ares blades though. [James] "Then may the light purify you." Pushing her off the shield, he swings the sword and just catches her shoulder, but the blow stung as though he had buried his sword in her shoulder. He quickly followed it up. "Shield of Divine Light!" A cone of bright and powerful light magic blasted Angelica, shattering her shadow shield and sending her sliding back a couple of feet. "The forces of evil couldn't defeat the Paladins of old. You will not defeat me now."

Trinity had returned her full attention to her harp, once James left her company. She only barely noticed a man step out of the building in front of her, though her attention lifted as Penny conjured fire. "Arara?" Her hands stopped momentarily, but it continues to play, repeating from when she started playing before. Her hands go back to making the motions, though when Penny calls to her, the minstrel stiffens. "Someone gave me something?" "Unless someone put something in my pocket, I don't think I have anything like that." She couldn't let herself get involved. It was too dangerous for a lone traveler like herself, and she never said she wanted to join, either. They just assumed that. "Besides, you're a bit busy to be worrying about others right now, aren't you?"

### Carrie, Damian (And Maybe Mayt) Carrie just stayed standing where she was, her eyes flicking to every blade, every slash and attack. She brought up her hands, slowly, and then they moved in a flourish, and with each movement, light flashed, and sound boomed, echoing once more. With each attack, Carrie blocked the stabs, slashes and attacks. When the attacks stopped, there was not a mark on her, and she hadn't moved from where she was. She flung up both hands over her hand, and the barrage of sound and noise occurred once more, this time, with attacks aimed to Damian. It was lighting and thunder attacks combined effectively, and in such a way that Carrie used that it was done in the blink of an eye. "I don't appreciate being called Cute, blade Master" ### Angelica, Master Jamie, Jarvis, Angelo, Maddox Angelica took the blow, letting the space open up between them, chuckling at the desperate attempt of the mage under her control to break free. "Darkness rise, and darkness swarm" She said, with almost chant like quality. It swarmed around her, reaching towards James, She raised one hand, and the shadows formed, seeming to harden, like a sword. She moved into a ready position, and said, "I will defeat you" Jamie moved quickly, the sword in his hands defeating any blows from Angelo, moving out of the way of some. She hissed at Jarvis to stay back as he made a move to step forward. "Angelo! This is your guild, your family! You don't want to do this! fight! Fight her! She is a horrible person, and doesn't deserve to use someone like you!" ### Kali, Karn The black cat that was Kali slinked into the room, almost one with the shadows, watching the orange cat as it was petted by the man. Kali hissed, meowed furiously, and lunged at the orange cat.
